THIS IS NOT A NEW CHAPTER
Hello, there, long time no see! Yes, I am still alive.
I have left this story for so long now, that I literally have no inspiration to write it anymore. I noticed the date that I last updated and it was just before a lot of stuff happened in my life, and I am a different person now. This story is just not what I want to write about anymore, but I can tell you where I was supposed to go with this. I also never expected to receive so many reviews in my absence, it really is amazing and it makes me feel completely guilty.
Ron and Hermione are obviously under that contract with Tom, so cannot do much in terms of disobedience, however they have managed to get Ginny involved in their plan to destroy the contract. Once Ginny finds and destroys the contract, Ron and Hermione continue as normal obeying Tom's commands. This is to bide more time before they set up their assault and gather more people to help their efforts. In the meantime, Ron has started dabbling in the Dark Arts, inspired by the spell he used to find Ginny in 'Warfare', unbeknownst to the others.
As everyone knows, Ginny has become torn between wanting to kill Tom and loving him at the same time, despite all that has happened. On top of that, she has familial obligations to her brother, she has to help him and Hermione with their plan. To cut a long story short, all three manage to engage other disillusioned wizards and witches to the cause against Tom, and that is when they strike. In the battle, Hermione and Ginny are shocked to discover that Ron is holding his own against Tom, and using Dark magic. Tom gains the upper hand after getting over his initial surprise, taunting Ron about his inexperience with the Dark Arts, and just as Tom is about to kill him, Ginny makes the ultimate decision of her life and finally kills Tom herself. (I know you are all going to hate me for that!)
In the aftermath, the victors hold their celebrations after defeating the last dregs of Tom's Death Eaters. It is then revealed that Ron is slowly being consumed by the Dark Arts...
I love Ron! I know he would never do that in canon, but the direction that my story took makes it possible.
So, at least now I have revealed the ending that I intended. However, if any one of you would like to adopt this fic and finish it off, then please let me know. It would be great if you already write fanfics, as then I will be able to make a good judgement.
