Disclaimer: I don't own OUAT.

A/N: Hello there!

Ok, I know that I owe a lot of people an apology. These are almost 2 months of hiatus, but I swear I have a good excuse, or actually excuses. When they say that bad things come in threes they mean it. Well I first experience a lost of a family member that really brought me down a lot. Then I LITERALLY ALMOST GOT KILLED by trying to save my neighbor, an old lady I can't stand. Long story short, I pushed her out of the way and I WAS RUN OVER BY A BIKE, yeah basically... I was ok, but I broke my arm and my wrist, so I had one of those uncomfortable cases (plaster?) that have a ball in the palm of your hand that does not allow you to move not even your fingers. Yes, that little debacle kept me from writing for a while. And to make things worse, I got a new job position that require me to have a very time consuming training for a whole month.

In top of that I had trouble writing the next chapter because it had too many flashbacks and it was getting confusing, so I decided to separate this chapter in two parts. This chapter will deal with Pan's past exclusively, and will set the path for future changes in the storyline. The second part of this story will deal with our heroes and will have a CLIFFHANGER that might cause many of you to get violent with me, let's face it I live for the drama. This second part will be updated hopefully next week.

Another thing, now because of my new job, I will do the UPDATES on FRIDAYS. After next week I'll go back to the schedule of a new chapter every 15 days.

THANKS FOR THE FAITHFUL READERS THAT HAD WAITED FOR ME DURING THIS HIATUS! I LOVE YOU ALL!

If you like any of the chapter in this episode, please let me know!

Ok, now enjoy!

The Beginning

The laugher of a group of children filled the woods with life. After four months, Peter Pan was finally letting all the bad things that happened behind.

His parents had sold him to a group of men because they couldn't afford to buy food. He had cried and struggled, but after being beat up by one of the men, he had finally accepted his cruel fate. He knew what kind of life was expecting him as a slave, and thought that nothing could have been worst. He had been wrong.

A week later, after having been taken by the merchants, something had happened. War had finally reached the small village and it had turned everything into aches. The merchants who were bad people had been murdered just like everybody else, and the assailants had been ten times more ruthless than they dreamt of being.

The things he had witnessed would have made a grown man weep. He had seen every girl being raped and every boy being beaten to death. While he had been waiting his turn, he had taken advantage of the men's distraction and had used the bodies of the other kids to hide. He had been buried in death that smelled like rotten blood.

Peter had done his best to keep quiet, and when he had realized that he could still feel a slow beating heart from one of the bodies on top of him, he had passed out.

Soldiers. Their attackers had been soldiers. Knights that fought for the Mad King. They were more vicious that any criminal, and yet their sins were overlooked because they were committing them in the name of the crown.

For a while, Peter wondered if his parents had died just like all the other villagers in town. He wondered if they had regretted leaving him behind, if they had thought about him as they stood facing the shine of a sharp sword with nothing but pleading cries. However, Peter had surprised himself by not caring anymore about those questions. They weren't his parents. They had lost that right even before they had sold him to the merchants. Curiously enough, that day that had brought doom and death to his town had brought Peter hope and love.

"Momma!" Peter called, running towards a young woman.

When he woke up, he was met with the dark and gentle eyes of a young woman. Her name was Elana, she had tan skin, brown hair and big beautiful hazel eyes. She was kind and loving; all the things a parent was supposed to be. She took care of him when he woke up, just like she had cared for other fifteen children.

She was a guardian and a mother, and all the kids that lived with her were her children. He was at first surprised of meeting such a woman willing to take care of so many children in times of war and despair. Now she was Peter's mother. He loved her with all his young soul.

"Hello, Peter. May I ask why you are here? You are supposed to be in the hill with the other kids and Fate." Elana chastised him while heading towards the small cottage that served as their home.

"I don't like Fate…. She scares me… she has the eyes of death." Peter said walking behind her. "She is strange just like Shizuo."

Shizuo and Fate. Both women were strange, from their physical appearances to the weird accent their voices took some times. Shizuo was the protector. She was the one that took care of Elana and protected everybody from the war, and Fate protected the other kids when Elana was busy.

Peter didn't know what to think about Shizuo and Fate. Fate scared him while Shizuo confused him because even when he was scared of her as well, he couldn't help but feel attracted to her in some way.

"They are both especial." Elana said with a soft smile written on her lips. "They are different from us, that's why you think they are so strange."

"How come? What do you mean by saying that they are different?" Peter asked in confusion. Elana chuckled softly, and walked to the cot, and motioned Peter to follow her.

"Most of the older kids know this already, so I don't see the harm in telling you a little bit about them, Peter." The brunette said, laying herself across the cot. "You see, neither Fate nor Shizuo are from this land."

"What?" Peter asked confused. "Are they from the Enchanted Forest then? From the New continent?"

"No, they come from a Land far far away. Shizuo, she comes from the Land of the Rising Sun, a land called Japan."

"Japan?" Peter frowned when he didn't recognize the name of the foreign land.

"Shizuo, was the daughter of a clan leader. The people of her country had been in war for years. One day the boat she was traveling in was attacked by their enemies. Her father and many others were killed. Shizuo she was injured and fell off the boat. When she woke up, she was in this land. She had a very hard time adjusting to life in this land because she couldn't speak the language, but she learned with the years. That was almost 300 years ago, Peter." Elana said with a smirk that grew wider when she saw the shock in the childish features of the boy before her.

"What? She is 300 years old?"

"Older. Awesome right?" The boy tilted his head after hearing the foreign word. "Fate, she came from Germany. I'm not sure about her story. It's quite complicated and I don't think she will approve about me telling you about it. She had the same issues when she came here. Her german is still quite marked in her voice, but at least she knew a little bit of English. She has been here at least 200 years."

"But she looks so young!"

"I know…"

"What about you?" Peter asked with intrigue.

"What about me?" Elana asked with a quirked eyebrow.

"I've heard you speak in a different language as well." The boy spoke with a knowing smile that caused a fit of laugher in the young woman.

"Yes, you are right. I'm not from this land either. I come from a place called Brazil. I speak Portuguese you see, but my case is different from theirs." Elana said with a sigh. "I came here almost ten years ago. I was just a teenager. Shizuo was the one who found me, but unlike her, I didn't need help adapting to the language. In my country I had a couple of Japanese friends and I learned English from watching movies."

"Movies? What's that?"

"It's hard to explain. You see I came from a time with great technology. Shizuo was from the year 1500. Fate from 1800 and I came from the year 2012." The young woman shrugged while trying to make sense of her own words. "The time in this land and ours is very different. We still can't explain why we travelled here. I was crossing the street in the middle of Rio the Janeiro when suddenly I found myself in the middle of a war field."

"Does this mean that you are immortal as well?" Peter was happy by the prospect of being with his new mom forever.

"No, sweetie." Elana moved her hand to cares the wild hair of the young boy. "Fate and Shizuo have a mission in this land; therefore, they won't be able to die until they fulfill that mission. You know they both have magic. I'm just an extremely beautiful and sexy woman stuck in a medieval land without wi-fi and hot showers." She finished with a huff.

Peter tilted his head when he saw the brunette shoulders sag in disappointment. However, before he could say anything about it, a cloud of yellow smoke appeared in the middle of the room and within it, the body of an Asiatic woman hanging from a blonde girl, almost collapsing to the floor.

"Eli, help!" Fate exclaimed while trying to hold the bigger woman within her small grip.

"Oh my God! What happened?" Elana didn't waste time. She ran to catch the injured blue-eyed woman before she slipped down to the floor completely. She turned her around and gasped in horror when her eyes fell in a wide and profound wound near the right shoulder of the woman.

"Eli-san" Shizuo's voice was weak and hoarse by exhaustion. The hands of the Brazilian woman quickly covered the bleeding gap in order to prevent more blood from pouring out of the wound.

"Fate, take Peter out of here!" Peter jumped with the command. He was ready to protest, but before he could do anything he found himself standing in the middle of the forest surrounded by his new brothers and sisters. He turned around to glare the blonde girl who looked solemnly at him through red-stained eyes.

"Bring me back!" Peter commanded in fury.

"She'll be alright. Eli will take care of her."

"I told you to bring me back!"

"Nein. You have already seen too much blood, Peter. You are a kid. Behave like one." Fate stated calmly before turning around and walking away from the boy.

In the cottage, Elana fought against the pouring wound to keep Shizuo with them.

"What the hell happened, Shizuo?"

"The King… his army… there were too many… I couldn't stop him." Shizuo breathed heavenly with every word. "So many bodies… so many deaths… so much blood…"

"You might be immortal, but your body still hurts and takes time to recover. You shouldn't have to fight! I thought you had gone alone!"

"I did, Fate-chan… she found me…" Shizuo chuckled slightly, but the laugh turned into a raging coughing fit.

"God, do you really have to risk yourself so much?!" Elana cried while holding her hand hard against Shizuo's wound. The warrior woman took hold of her hand and glanced at the brunette with deep eyes.

"I might be immortal, but I'll gladly die a thousand deaths if it assures me your safety."

"You old people are so romantic." Elana rolled her eyes while trying to hide her light blush.

"And you young people do not respect your elders." Shizuo chipped in with a lazy smirk.

"You are an idiot, Shizuo."

"I'm being honest." Shizuo squeezed Elana's hand trying to convey her feelings to the brunette, but it wasn't necessary. Elana knew how much Shizuo cared for her.

"Sleep, you meat-head."

Shizuo slept almost all night. Elana knew that the wound would heal itself quite quickly so she didn't bother to stitch it. Keeping pressure and dumping water with anesthetic into the wound was more than enough. Within hours, the wound was at least externally healed. She had enough experience to know that Shizuo would be in pain for at least a couple of days more, but her special tea would keep the pains away from the young warrior.

It was past midnight when she saw the blue eyes open warily. She had lightened the room with candles while she kept an eye on her friend, and Fate and the children were camping in the forest.

"Eli-san." Shizuo whispered searching for hazel eyes in the dim light.

"It's ok; the children are away, Shizuo." Silence fell between the two women. Elana felt uncomfortable when she felt the deep blue eyes inspect her with earnest. She was about to ask what was the problem when Shizuo finally cut the silence.

"Misao..." She said warning a confuse look from the other woman.

"What?"

"My real name… My real name is Misao." Her blue eyes locked with Elana's. "When I was younger, I was Misao the daughter of the head of the Miyamoto family. However, when the war between clans started my father gave me my katana and told me that from that day I would not be a woman again, that I was going to be a warrior. Therefore, I took the name of Shizuo, the name of my sword, which means quiet hero in my tongue".

"When I came to this world, I thought that I could return to be Misao again. However, soon the Shadow found me, and I learned that I was a Savior. Once again, I was a warrior. After fighting through all these years, I've come to the realization that I don't want to fight anymore", she finished quietly.

"What? Shizuo, you can't say that! It's your responsibility! Only you and Fate can stop the Shadow. Only the Saviors can!" Elana argued with trepidation. She couldn't allow Shizuo to give up.

"I have been fighting him for the last 300 years! I don't want to be a warrior, I don't want to be a Savior! I just want to be a woman… I want to be your woman Eli-san." Misao pushed herself from the bed and took Elana's face in between her hands. "I want to feel alive. I want to live with you and the children without more fighting and death. Is it too much to ask? I just want to have you…" She leaned forward and clashed her lips with Elana's.

Elana was stunned by the sudden wave of emotions, but she accepted the kiss willingly, while trying to convey to the older woman that she already had her. In every way possible. She broke the kiss because of her weak lungs. With heavy breathing, she looked for Misao's eyes and found them to be clouded with love and lust. Misao's eyes were filled with a dominance that made Elana shiver with both nervousness and excitement.

"You have me…" the Brazilian woman whispered breathlessly. With trembling fingers, she caressed the cheek of the woman before her and greedily pulled her closer for another kiss. This kiss was deeper, more frantic and desperate. Tongues danced together fighting for dominance, but Elena knew that for her it was a lost battle when a needy moan grumbled in the back of her throat.

Misao pulled Elana into the space between her legs and raked her fingertips down the sides of her torso. Her fingers found the obi of Elana's kimono, and with a pull she tucked the sash lose. Her hands moved to grab both sides of Elana's robe and parted them, pulling down at the shoulders and forcing the garment to slide off the brunette's body to the floor, leaving her naked before the hungry blue eyes of the samurai.

Elana's eyes drank in the sight of the tanned woman before her in all her beauty. She noticed how a light blush spread over the Brazilian woman and smiled, knowing that after so long she was able to earn such a reaction just by staring at Elana.

"I love you." She spoke with no trace of doubt in her voice and move to trap Elana's lips within hers once again before the other woman could speak. The movements of the younger woman were more clumsy and harsh because of the constant trembling of her nervous limbs. She was trembling with excitement, overcome by the strong emotions revolving around them. She hated that Misao caused such a strong reaction in her, but at the same time she loved that only Misao was able to make her feel that way. She traced her fingers all over the oriental woman, tugging at the annoying clothes that prevented her from touching the fault lines of the warrior's muscles directly.

With a grunt, Elana pulled the offending clothes and pushed them off without pulling her lips away from the ones that kept her captive in a heated kiss. Both women moaned in ecstasy when their bodies clashed together and the feeling of skin against skin overwhelmed their senses.

Misao pushed Elana so that the woman was lying on her back over the covers and Misao remained flushed on top of her. Misao took her time exploring with her mouth and hands the body that was currently under her, enjoying the orchestra of sounds she managed to obtain from the woman every time her lips sucked on auburn skin and her hands caressed an especially sensible spot.

While sucking Elana's pulse point, she allowed her right hand to wander down taunt abs until reaching the small patch of trimmed hair between her legs. Elana trembled under Misao's touch, while she dipped one single finger to run along the length of her sex in a teasing way. Misao leaned in and pressed her lips against the valley between Elana's breasts. Her skin was hot, almost as if she was kissing a flame. Her lips closed around a dark nipple, and the Brazilian's muscles twitched at the contact. Elana instinctively brought her hands up to Misao's head and pressed her further into her flesh.

Misao played with the heated peak of flesh within her mouth with her tongue while rubbing her middle finger softly over the woman's sensible clit. The sole sounds of Elana's moans were making Misao wetter, but a sharp pain in her right shoulder was making her movements more difficult to achieve. She released the breast with a pop and dipped two fingers deep inside Elana's sex. The wail that escaped Elana's throat hid the hiss of pain from the samurai.

Her wounds hadn't healed completely. She could feel the burning of her muscles and the tearing open of the wound once again. Still, she took a deep breath and started pumping her fingers in and out of her lover. Although Elana was deep in a state of ecstasy, she was fast to notice the strain in Misao's features and quickly she moved to grab her right arm and stop her movements.

"Is hurting you, isn't it?" Elana asked with hoarse voice still rough and dripping with the lust of her previous actions.

"I'm ok…" Misao said moving to kiss Elana again, but the younger woman pulled away.

"No… I don't want to, if it hurts you." Misao let a sob of frustration out before sinking her face in the crook of her lover's neck.

"You were close."

"Don't worry about me. I can do you if you want." Elana assured while brushing her finger over the silky hair of the oriental woman. She only got an annoyed grunt in response what made her chuckle slightly. Yes, she was still buzzing with the excitement of her near orgasm, but if it caused pain to Misao, then she didn't want it. Softly, Misao lifted her head and gazed deeply inside the beautiful dark eyes of the woman she loved.

"Do you trust me?" Misao asked meaningfully. With trust, yet doubt the tanned woman nodded. Misao pulled herself away from Elana for a second to reach for her katana.

"What are you…?" The Brazilian woman watched in surprise how the Japanese warrior slid the sheathed katana between her legs and placed it just under her sex. Her breath caught in her throat when she saw the weapon glow with a green light, and how it twisted like rubber to cover her sex like a… Is that a strap on? Did they even exist in Misao's time? How did she…? Her inner inquiries stopped when she heard a soft whimper coming from Misao's mouth. She immediately noticed how the body of the Asian woman trembled lightly and how the tip of the katana that was now mimicking an erect phallus seemed to twitch slightly as well.

Could it be?... Can she feel it? Elana wondered while reaching her hand to touch the yellow bulge and marveled in the revelation that the enchanted katana didn't feel as a cold inanimate object; on the contrary, it felt alive, warm and even similar to skin at the touch. Misao's groan was guttural and filled with desire and need. Elana swallowed harshly, while lifting her gaze to meet Misao's eyes once again.

"You can feel it." She deliberately squeezed the magical object lightly and she watched in utter astonishment how Misao's body responded with a rush of pleasure running through her body. "Oh…"

"Do you trust me?" Misao asked again itching closer to Elana. Oh my God! She wants to… use that… with me?

"Shiz- I mean Misao… I don't know. I haven't ever…" She trailed off glancing back and forward between the strap-on and the blue eyes of the samurai. "I've never… with a…" a man, or a dildo or anything. The most I've had inside me was "two fingers at most… I don't think I can. It's too big." She gulped nervously.

"Trust me." Misao insisted searching into dark eyes. Elana let the love and commitment in her lover's eyes guide her and nodded, silently lying her back once again against the pillows below her.

Why couldn't we do oral instead? Elana thought while trying to swallow the nervousness of her body.

"Relax. I'll do what I can to prevent it from hurting you." With that Misao lean down and kissed her once again. The brunette could feel her heart raising once again and how the temperature of her body skyrocket when she felt Misao's hands massaging her breasts and playing with its peaks rolling them between her fingers.

What should I do? I can't stop loving her.

She let out a loud moan when she felt the stiffness of the bulge between her lover's legs rubbing against the inner side of her thighs. She shuddered and closed her eyes enjoying the feeling of a wet tongue running down her body teasing her breasts abdomen and belly bottom. When she felt two fingers slide inside of her once again she knew that Misao was only trying to stretching her before she could move her magic member inside of her.

"Elana." Misao called making the young woman open her eyes once again to look into deep ocean blue eyes. "Are you ready?"

"Yeah." Elana said with a small nervous smile.

"Eli-chan… try to breathe slowly…" Elana could feel when Misao placed the phallus in the apex of her entrance and took a deep breath. Her walls were trapping the invading bulge making both women moan and shudder in sexual rapture. "E- Eli…uhn…" She whimpered when she felt herself slid completely inside Elana's sex.

Suddenly, Misao felt a gentle touch in her cheek. She looked down and was surprised to see that Elana was crying. She would have been scared if there wasn't also a huge watery smile in the woman's lips telling her that she wasn't crying out of pain, but something else.

"It's amazing…" Elana said with a shaking voice. "I have become one… with Misao…" The samurai smiled down at her and let a single tear slip down her cheek accompanied with a soft smile and a short nod.

She leaned down to kiss her lover with all the love she could muster. She grinded her hips enjoying the sensation that the enchanted phallus created on her.

"It's so warm… and so syrupy… I feel like I'm going to melt…" Misao said in between gasps. The heat between their bodies was becoming unbearable while the knots in the women's lower bellies kept tightening, begging to find release in each other.

"I love you, Misao, I love you."

"I love you, Eli!" The two finished together. Their bodies fell exhausted after what had been probably the biggest orgasms that they had shared. The room was silent and it felt heavy with emotion and contained energy. It was Misao who broke the silence and woke the two women from their post orgasmic bliss.

"We should mix magic into our sex life more often. I swear to God I become gayer with every time we have sex." Elana said earning a husky chuckle from the older woman.

"Everything hurts." Misao confessed and Elana snorted happily looking down at the samurai who was resting her head over her chest.

"Suck it up, Savior." Elana said and kissed the forehead of her lover.

Suddenly, a cloud of yellow smoke appeared in the middle of the room. Misao was the first one to react. She grabbed one blanket and tossed it over Elana's body while she grabbed another one and pulled it to her own. Fate appeared within the cloud of magical smoke, making Elana yelp in surprise.

"Chikusho! Fate, what are you doing here?" Misao barked outraged by the little girl's intervention.

"Fate! Uh, we can explain. It's not what you-" Elana tried to justify them, but a roll of red eyes made her stop in her tracks.

"Eli, I'm a 100 years older than you. I know that you were having sex, I'm not here because of that. You have to see this." Fate spoke hurriedly and, without announcement, she casted another spell that transported the three women to a new location.

Elana blinked in confusion when she found herself in the top of a hill next to the two Saviors. What shocked her the most was the sudden change of temperature, so she wrapped the blanket tighter to her body. The second thing she noticed was that the sun was coming out, so they weren't surrounded by the darkness of the night. She lifted her eyes searching for Misao's, but the blue eyes of the samurai were settled in the distance. Elana frowned when she noticed the blue eyes full of worry and anxiety. Propelled by curiosity, she pushed herself up and walked to stand next to her lover, so she could see the view down the hill.

A battalion. A huge battalion was marching down the hill.

"The Crystal Battalion? The mad King's army?" Elana's wondered while trying to distinguish the color of the soldier's flags.

"No, their flags are golden, not silver." Misao said with a frown.

"King Arthur's army? Where are they going?"

"They are heading to the North." Fate said with a serious voice. That couldn't be right.

"There's nothing there, only…" Elana stopped in her tracks not daring to finish her own thoughts. Could it be?

"The Fire Mountains." Misao's words were confirmation to her fears. "They are retreading to the Golden Valley. They are going back to Camelot."

"They can't do that! The Sand Army will not be able to fight the Mad King by its own. If they leave, they'll be damming the Moving Deserts to its doom."

"They know that. The Sultan of the Moving Deserts was a peaceful man. He never expected a war, so they do not have enough people to fight in it. King Arthur knows that he is battling a lost battle. He has decided to protect his own people. He does not have responsibility over the lands of the South." Misao's voice sounded weak and defeated. Elana was instead feeling scared and frantic.

"What are we going to do now?" Elana asked in fear.

"We are leaving the Cristal Woods."

"To where? We can't cross the Fire Mountains. They are protected by Arthur's magic and the Moving Deserts will be soon conquered by the Mad King."

"We can go to the Giant Peaks." Fate supplied.

"They are too dangerous! They are filled with… well giants and beasts!" Elana argued with concern.

"We'll cross the Middle Waters and take refuge in the Enchanted Forest or in the Sunshine Islands." Misao said with determination.

"There is a reason why nobody crosses the Middle Waters, Misao. They are infested with monsters and water creatures. No ship has crossed the Rim of the Kraken, that's the reason why the Old Continent has been separated from the New one for so long. Besides, you two are the only ones that can fight the Shadow, you can't just leave!"

"You don't understand, don't you?" Misao looked at her with fear and despair. "Fate and I are alone in this. We had fought it before and we failed when it was standing by itself. Now it has an army. The Shadow managed to control a King and with him, a whole kingdom is under its command. Fate and I can't do anything by ourselves. We were counting with the Golden and Sand Army to stand by our side in this war, but if we can't have their help then we are destined to fail again, maybe this time for good." Misao said, taking Elana's hands with her own. "We can't win this, and I rather try to cross the Rim and live with you and the children than stay here and die. Please, Eli-san, we cannot stay here. We have to run before it finds us."

The reality of the situation struck her full force. They could not win. If they stayed, Misao and Fate and probably the children and herself would die in the hands of the Shadow's army. However, if they left, they would be condemning not one, but three Lands to suffer by the hand of the Shadow and the Mad King. Could she just turn her head away? Her head kept screaming "no," but what other option they had left?

"Ok, let's move then." Elana said while swallowing a knot in her throat. I'm sorry. She said, inwardly thinking in all the people that would die because of the absence of the two Saviors.

"Shizuo!" Fate's alarmed voice called the attention of the older women who turned to look at the blonde girl. Far away in the woods, they could see a column of smoke rising to the sky. It was too close to where the children were staying. They had to move now.

Without a word, the trio was surrounded by a cloud of golden smoke. Elana blinked the dizziness of the teleportation away and glanced back where all the children were sleeping peacefully.

"We have to move before they surround us." Fate stated with concern.

"Eli-san you go with the children and find refuge deep in the forest. Move to the South. Fate and I will go and give you time to get away." Misao was ready to disappear when Elana grabbed her hand and halted her spell.

"Misao, wait!" Elana hated seeing her beloved go to fight. She moved closer and placed a deep and moist kiss in the surprised lips of the samurai. "Be careful." She said with a light blush. Misao stared at her in surprised, but rapidly her eyes softened and she moved to embrace the woman she loved in a tight hug.

"Aishteru… watashi no ojousama." Misao said before leaning down and giving the Brazilian woman a more meaningful and longer kiss.

"You old people are so romantic." Elana said with a low chuckle. She gave the woman a quick peck and step away. "I love you too. Be safe." Misao nodded and with that, she disappeared in a cloud of brown smoke. "Make sure that both of you return safe home, Fate." The brunette said to the other girl who smiled sweetly at her.

"Ja, Fräulein Elana." Fate said before disappearing in the magic cloud. Elana took a deep breath and steadied herself for what was going to come. She needed to bring the kids to safety.

Unbeknown to the female heroes, one of the boys had heard the conversation and was now heading to where the army of the Mad King was.

xxxxxxxxxxxxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Misao and Fate had decided to attack the army in two different flanks so they could disperse their forces. They were only trying to distract them, so there strategy consisted in attack and retreat over and over again. However, suddenly when she was ready to attack she saw in the corner of her eye how a small frame appear next to her while holding a sword.

Peter Pan had heard the women talking about running away from the Silver Army. Well, Peter was not a runner. He was tired of running and hiding and he had decided to stand by Misao and fight by her side.

A brave action, but also a very stupid one. One choice that cursed the fates of all the people he loved.

Deep in the woods, Elana noticed his absence and decided to stop and tell the children to wait for her while she went to try to look for him.

In the battlefield, a sharp metal slashed against skin tearing through it and gushing blood to the floor. Peter looked in horror how Misao jumped in front of him, protecting him from the murderous strike of a soldier's sword. The samurai held down a yelp and viciously turned around to cut the soldiers throat with her katana.

Peter could see the blood dripping from Misao's back , but the Oriental woman didn't stop to think about her injuries. She took Peter by the hand and teleported herself away from the soldiers that were charging at her.

"I'm sorry! I'm sorry!" Peter cried insistently, now realizing that his actions had caused the wound in Misao's back.

"It's ok."

"I just wanted to help!" Peter cried once again.

"I know, I know." She tried to soothe the young boy's fears, but the aching in her back was not helping. "It's ok, really, but you need to go back with Elana and the other kids."

"I'm not a kid! I should stay here with you and help you. I promise to be more careful." He was not a kid, not anymore. He had seen too much. He was older than the other kids. He should be a man, and men… they fought. They fought in wars. That was what meant to be a man, right?

"You are a kid, and it's ok to be one, Peter." Misao reassured him while petting his head. "You should stay a kid as long as you want."

"But…"

"No buts." Misao said with difficulty while trying to control her raging breathing. "Go back to your mother and protect her and the other children."

Reluctantly, the young boy stepped away from the warrior. For once in his young life, he was being allowed to be what he really was: a child. He gave a last glance to his other guardian and then sprinted away from the battlefield. Misao turned around to make sure the kid had run away and collapsed to her knees. Her left hand moved to her side while trying to reach the bleeding wound in her back, but all she could feel was the sticky and strangely warm feeling of her own blood.

"Why is it easier to be the bad guy?" she sighed heavily forcing herself to straighten her body. Once on her feet, she glanced again to the direction Peter had taken but a dreadful sight turned her blood cold. Fire in the woods. A column of smoke rose from deep in the woods as a deadly snake that was trying to reach the heavens. The fear exploded in Misao's body as a violent shiver traced up her spine and stole her breath away. In her state of panic, only one thought remained:

"Eli."

What once was a fertile land covered in grass and trees, now was a dead land covered in corpses and warm scattering blood. The biggest irony of all was that the ones that were called Saviors were the ones that now were forced to kill the same people that they were bound to protect.

The Shadow had taken control of the Mad King and since then the Old Continent had become a hell in Earth. Fate could still remember the first time she killed a soldier of the Mad King. She might be older than she looked, but you are never old enough to become a murder. Still, it was her responsibility to stop the Shadow, and if the Mad King's army got in her way then she had to pass through them as well.

If she managed to kill the Mad King and destroy the Shadow, everybody would be safe. That was what the young blonde kept repeating in her head as a silent prayer in order to deal with the guilt every time she got rid of a soldier in her way to the Mad King. Now standing in front of the old man, confined in a golden armor and wearing a spiky crown that resembled entwined swords, she raised her sword and launched herself in a killer strike. However, the Mad King was ready for her strike and easily enough blocked her attack and pushed her away from him with a swift move of his own weapon.

"What do we have here?" The Mad King grinned evilly. The features of the once good king were morphed into a sneer of hate and wickedness. His eyes shone with an inhuman glimmer that reflected his inner insanity created since he became the host of the Shadow. "I was expecting you, Fate." The King spoke with easiness addressing with his hand to the soldiers that surrounded them and ordering to halt. "Where is your other Savior fellow? I was expecting to kill you both now to save me the trouble for later."

"You are not going to win." Fate scowled at his confidence. "This time we are going to end to your reign of darkness once and for all!"

"Oh really?" The Mad king taunted with a smirk. "You and who else, sweetie?"

There was something in his voice that sent goosebumps all over her body. Fate looked over her shoulder and her eyes fell immediately to the column of grey smoke that rose to the sky from the woods.

"Shizuo." Fate frowned, fearing what that vision could signify to the lives of her friends. She quickly returned her gaze to her enemy and raised her sword in battle stance. "If you hurt them, I'm going to make your death as slow and painful as I can muster." Fate growled in anger.

"Such a treat from such a nice little girl." The Mad King laughed. "I'm going to tell you two things that you should know from me before you kill me, my sweet Fate."

"Your last words? You don't deserve such leniency, but I shall give it to you since you spared the lives of all this soldiers." Fate said referring to their audience.

"So magnanimous from you. First, I shall say to you that even if you kill the Mad King, you will never kill me. My control over the poor bastard is now complete. I have consumed his soul entirely, so now I'm at the top of my power. Neither you nor Shizuo can beat me now, Saviors."

"I must prove you wrong then." Fate said with a fierce gaze.

"Oh wait, sweetie! I have one last thing to tell you before we fight to death." The Shadow smirked viciously at the young girl He lifted two fingers and wiggle them in the air with amusement. "Second, you should never turned your back to you enemy, my child."

Fate reacted too late. She gasped and tried to turn her body around, but a sharp pain in her back and chest stopped her from doing so. Her red blood eyes gazed down and stared unbelievingly to the tip of the sword that had gone through her body. She lifted her eyes looking for the Mad King, but he no longer was in front of her. Fate felt him leaning over her shoulder and whisper like a malevolent viper to her ear.

"One down, one to go."

Misao appeared magically in the middle of the forest close to where the column of smoke was coming from. As soon as she saw the signal of fire in the woods, she abandoned the battlefield and headed in the search of her lover and the children. She was drawing near to the source; she could smell the smoke in the air. Then she spotted it. It was a cabin in the woods. Their cabin. Why was it on fire? Did Elana come back to the cabin? Why? I told her to run to the mountains!

"Elana!" Misao screamed, now nearer the wood structure. She noticed it was not on fire, the fire came from something in the back of the house. Maybe they were fine. Maybe they needed to make a fire for something. Maybe someone got hurt and Elana had to turn back to treat them appropriately. "Elana!" She opened the door and was greeted with silence.

Her blue eyes stared lifelessly at the vision before her. Familiar faces, all of them contorted in grimaces of pain and desperation and obscured by the dark color of dry blood. The stench of death in the air similar to the smell of rotten meat and burned hair filled her nostrils when she gasped for air after digesting the sigh of the slaughter around her.

"No…" She wanted to turn around and forget what she just saw. She wanted to curse her own eyes for recognizing the faces of the corpses that surrounded her. They were just children. "Elana!" She screamed in panic this time wanting to recognize every face except the one of her lover. It was a cruel thought; however, in her heart she knew that she cared for the children, but she loved Elana.

She skimmed over the faces looking for survivors and then she spotted her. The whimper that left her throat made her realize that she was crying. She ran to the other extreme of the house and knelt next to the still form of the woman she loved. She lifted a trembling hand and touched the flesh of her cheek sobbing in anguish when she realized how cold it felt.

Brown lifeless eyes were staring at her and this time Misao screamed in heart wrenching agony clutching the limb body close to her own wishing that somehow the warm and life of her own body could transfer to the other.

"What are you doing here, you idiot? I told you to run away! Why are you here? Why did you turn back?" Misao whined while feeling her heart twist painfully in her chest with every word. She had broken her promise. It was her fault that the children and Elana had died. She was the Savior. She had promised to protect them all. It wasn't Elana's fault. Everything was her fault!

"I'm sorry! I'm so sorry! I'm sorry!" She repeated crying her heart out against the immobile chest of Elana. She had lost the woman she loved. She had lost her purpose to live. She had lost everything. She had nothing left.

"Please come back to me. Please don't leave me, Eli. I need you. Please don't leave me here alone. At least take me with you." She moved to reach the woman's face and kiss her lips. She had born out of true love. She had heard about the miracle that a true love kiss could bring, and yet it refused to work for her.

They say that love is the most powerful force in the world. They are wrong…

Death is stronger than love.

She let a painful cry while hugging Elana's body more forcibly to her body, not ready to let go yet of what use to be the person that made her feel safer and more loved in her entire life.

"Boo hoo, humans are so fragile, aren't they?" An amused voice sounded behind her. Misao turned slowly to meet the gaze of the Mad King that stood at the door of the cabin watching her with sickly delighted eyes. "Her neck snapped so easily that I barely could enjoy it. It was truly disappointing."

Without a word, Misao put Elana's body back to the wooden floor of the cabin and slowly rose to her feet. Her right hand moved to the tsuka of her katana, and slowly sled Shizuo from its sheath.

"Korosu…"

Peter Pan was running to the forest trying to find what he had come to consider his family. He was nervous and scared, but still he could feel a ping of excitement in the pit of his stomach. Shizuo had offered him something he had never had before. Freedom to be a child. To live with Elana and the rest of the children like if they were a real family, and the mere thought of that possible future was twisting his stomach in utter bliss.

However, life is cruel and unpredictable.

The young boy reached a cabin in the middle of the woods and his smile grew when he thought he had finally found his family. He opened the door, but he found the place empty. Disappointed, he left the cabin, but soon he noticed a column of dark smoke coming from the back of the hut. He moved cautiously. Now the feeling of bliss was replaced by a feeling of dread and expectation.

His eyes blew open when he reached the back of the house. A fire, a mountain of bodies and a soldier from the Cristal Battalion. The gory vision before him had left him dumbstruck, but the movement of the soldier woke him from his stupor. The man grabbed hold of a woman's body and dragged her from the stack to the raging fire.

"MOMMA!"

For Peter, everything was black for a couple of minutes. He thought he had fainted, but when he finally came to his senses he was standing before the soldier with a dagger in his hand and, the man was lying with a deep wound in his torso. His eyes looked frantically for his momma and he found her lying close to the fire. He ran back and kneeled next to her calling her over and over again, but Elana did not respond.

"Are you sleeping, momma?" Peter asked with teary eyes. "It's not funny. Wake up! Momma!" He begged, shaking her body willing her to open her eyes in desperation.

"She is not going to wake up." A weak voice sounded behind him. Peter turned to see an old man with a golden armor lying weakly against a near tree. "She is dead, kid."

"Dead?" Peter eyes flew to the pale face of Elana. He had seen death before. He knew death. Yes, momma is dead, but why? "Why is she dead? Only bad people should die, momma is good. I don't understand." His eyes became glassy and pure tears started to pour from his pinkish cheeks. "Momma is dead. You hurt momma!" He roared lifting the dagger from his hand and pointed towards the injured old man.

"No, I'm not a Mad King's soldier. Their armor is silver, mine is golden. I'm from the good guys." The Mad King lied, and smirked when he saw the little boy lower his weapon.

"What am I suppose to do now? Momma is gone… I'm all alone…" He cried in despair. "Shizuo, Fate! They should be ok."

"They are dead too, boy."

"No…" The boy cried even harder drowning in his own agony.

"What if I tell you that there is a way to bring your dear momma back to life young boy?" The Mad King smirk grew bigger when he saw the teary eyes of the young boy sparkle with hope and life again.

"You can bring my momma back?" Peter asked excitedly.

"No, boy I can't, but I can give you the power to accomplish that. It will be a long trial, but with my help you could bring your momma back."

"How?! How can you help me, I'll do anything!" Peter begged to the old man.

"You see, this body is dying. I need you to lend me your body. In exchange, I'll give you power and immortality, eternal youth. Also, I'll teach you the magic necessary to bring the dead back to life. Three hearts. That's all you need to bring Elana back, Peter." The boy was blinded by the tempting offer. He never noticed the evilness coming from the darkness of the Shadow. He never noticed how he was now to become another puppet for the Shadow.

"How can I help you?"

"You just have to allow me to enter your body." Peter stopped to think in doubt, but his hesitance didn't last long. The man was offering him the opportunity to bring back Elana, and that was enough for him.

"I allow you to enter."

Suddenly, the old man's body convulsed and a dark figure was expelled from the king's mouth. The dim figure flew in the air and launched itself against Peter. The shadow entered the boy's body, which brought him to his knees in a sudden rush of pain. Peter cried in anguish while, magically, the shadow lifted itself from the ground and stood behind the kid with a smoky and dark body.

"What an amazing host." The Shadow spoke with a gloomy and sibilant voice. It brought his hands to the air and a bust of dark light erupted from them.

"What was that?" Peter asked, recovering from what just happened. He glanced to the Mad King's body, but he only found the golden armor scaterred on the ground.

"I cast a spell to protect the old continent." The shadow said in an amused tone. Peter saw a mouth stretching in the dark face in a strange show. A toothy smile white as ivory, filled with fangs contrasted against the darkness of the shadow.

"This will stop the war?" Peter asked with a smile.

"Yes, it will." The Shadow walked to the boy and helped him stand up. He took the dagger still in Peter's hand and then turned to the soldier that was still lying wounded in the floor.

"As for you, you'll help me." The dagger in the Shadow's hand started twisting in his hand and a name started to appear in the blade of the weapon. "From now on, you'll be known as the Dark One." The wounded soldier was suddenly surrounded by a dark cloud. "Go and spread darkness in the new continent." With that the dark cloud disappeared and with it the wounded soldier.

"You said that you were going to help me! Help me bring momma back!" Peter barked at the Shadow that turned to face him.

"I said I'll give you the power to help you. To bring your momma back you need to do a very powerful spell, boy. In order to cast this spell, you will need three things."

"What? What do I need?"

"Three hearts. One white, one resilient and one from a true believer." The Shadow spoke with mischievousness. "It might take a while, but I'll help you to obtain these objects, Peter."

"Ok, but I want you to grant me another favor."

"Speak, boy."

"I want to leave. I don't want to be here. This land is tainted in blood." Peter spoke with determination. He didn't care about this land. He didn't care anymore, he wanted to start somewhere else. Somewhere safe.

"Where do you want to go, Peter?"

Peter thought about his answer for a while. He had heard about a land where little boys went in there sleep to play and life in happiness a land called: "Neverland."

"Great choice, Peter. Let's bring your momma back, shall we?" The Shadow extended his dark limb to the boy who took it without hesitation. The Shadow smirked and with that, it lunged to the sky, taking the boy with him. He had cursed the old continent; he had a new body and had sent a part of him to the new continent. There was nothing else for him in this world. Now with a new body it was free to do what it had wanted its whole life. Reach complete freedom.

She lay against a fallen tree surrounded by corpses, corpses of people she had killed with her own hands. However, she couldn't force herself to care. She didn't care about anything anymore. She wanted to let go. Death for her was release, it was freedom, but it refused to reach her. So, she stayed there willing herself to die, to simply let go. What was the point of living now that she had lost everything? Steady steps nearing her way made her open her eyes. Before her was a bloody and weak Fate. The numerous cuts and slashes in her body made her cringe in pain with every step, but when she saw Misao's eyes open confirming her that the samurai was still alive, she couldn't help but think that perhaps death would have been more merciful.

Misao lay there, resting her aching body against a tree. Her body was covered in bruises and deep gashes, and her arms had been completely severed off her body. If Misao would have been a normal human being, she would have been long death, but she was not normal. She was a Savior and she had cast a curse on herself that had made her immortal until she defeated the Shadow. A curse so powerful that not even true love's kiss could have broken it.

Fate was tied to the same destiny, but she knew that the pain she was feeling was nothing compared with the one of her friend.

"I'm sorry." The blonde girl spoke with doubt, knowing that her words were meaningless and unwelcome to a broken heart; however, they were the only words she dare to speak.

"It won again." Misao's voice lacked any sort of emotion. It was empty and death, reflecting how the Asian woman felt inside.

"We'll stop it."

"What's the point now?" Misao asked with defeat. Fate swallowed hard tasting the acrid flavor of blood in her mouth. They were alone again. Before they fought in order to protect the people, they loved. Now, what was their reason to fight the Shadow? Because it was their duty as Saviors? Because they wanted to bring peace to the Old kingdoms? No, not really. "Tell me Fate, what's the point now? Why should we keep fighting the Shadow? What do we get?"

The blonde girl looked back to the ocean of bodies surrounding them. So much blood, so much death. She frowned, hating the gory image before her, and hating the responsible for it.

"…Revenge", said the girl with eyes of fire, not as an answer, but as a promise to avenge all the souls that had been lost in vain.

Interview With the Cast. Part 1

Interviewer: I'm here doing a one-o-one with the cast of OUAT – The White Heart Leyend. Elana how do you fill of being part of such a wonderful cast?

Elana: Honestly I feel awesome is great! I love everybody here, is sad I won't be with them again. Regina keeps telling me I basically came here to have sex and then die. I think she is right! *laughing*

-BLEEP-

Interviewer: How are you Misao, I can see you have your two arms back.

Misao: Yeah I know! I think the only one that had to lose a limb to be in the cast was Hook. But you know, he was too handsy already…

-BLEEP-

Hook: Hey! What's wrong with an all of you mates?

-BLEEP-

Interviewer: Hello Fate, You are now the youngest member in the cast. What do you know about future appearances in the show?

Fate: Misao and I were told that we might work with the main crew, but honestly we don't know anything yet. I mean we are in a different continent!

-BLEEP-

Interviewer: Ok, I have to ask, is Fate character based in-

Me: Don't say it! If you know, you know… If you don't I'm sorry. I don't want to do more disclaimers.

-BLEEP-

Interviewer: Let me tell you something Pan, I'm so happy you and Henry are not related.

Pan: oh, trust me I am happy as well. The previous writers had a very weird intention of relating every character with each other. The family three was already messed up without adding me to the mix. I think it was a right decision to stop adding family members to that mess of a family.

Interviewer: I also have to say I feel sorry for you, I kind of want you to succeed so you can bring Elana back.

Pan: I know me too, but I believe that the Shadow is the real villain here and Pan shouldn't have trusted him so easily. My character was too innocent, and I think it is going to kick him in the ass.

-BLEEP-

Interviewer: So you were the source of the Dark One as well.

Shadow: Yes basically, I had finished my work in the old land and I sent the Dark One to the new Land that is the Enchanted Forest to spread darkness there.

Interviewer: Are you really just a shadow?

Shadow: Why don't you look closer and find out?

-BLEEP-

Interviewer: I'm a little confused about this whole continents stuff, can you explain?

Me: I'll draw a map later… Keep watching!
