Danny Phantom and the Gates of Hell

(Author's Notes: Hi everyone! How are all of you this day? I am fine, and ready to really tackle this story of mine! It's going to be the first chapter for the year 2014!

I just want to clear something up. Sam is NOT going to be part of Danny's harem, so just clearing that up. However, she will play a critical role when the time comes for him and the others to meet their destiny and mission head on! Plus, she and Tucker plus the rest of the Fenton Family will assist Danny and the Elemental Divas with their missions that is given to them by the higher-ups.

In this chapter, Danny and Star have their date at the movies. Plus, Dash shows up to try and really ruin the halfa's evening. However, he will see on how Danny is not the same as he was in the past. Thanks to all of you who have contributed to making this story what it is today! Thank you so much for your inputs, for their have inspired me greatly!

Date Night and First Mission

It was Saturday, and the sun was just setting as the moon started to rise. It was now twilight, and the city of Amity Park was alive with activity from children to adults, the teens being the ones more active at this particular day. As darkness started to become more apparent, the lights from buildings and the street lights became more apparent. One shone out from the rest, in the middle of the town. It was the local theater called the Cineplex, and the theater was starting to get crowded. Many teens had come to see the new movie that came out recently, which was Thor: The Dark World. Standing near the entrance was one Daniel Fenton, and the young man looked sharp. He was dressed in semi-formal clothing, not dressed for prom or anything sharp enough that he got a few of the girls heads looking his way.

"I hope Star gets here soon. The movie is about to start in ten minutes, and even though I have the tickets, we still need to find some good seats." Danny said to himself. He was a little tired, not surprising from his training with the Elemental Divas and their celestial teachers this earlier.

~Flashback, an hour ago~

Danny Fenton was exhausted, and it showed as he turned back into his human form. The Elemental Divas; Valerie, Star, Paulina, Desiree, and Dora were by his side, also exhausted and back to their normal forms. They had just completed their training, and were going to be dismissed for the day when Paulina brought up an excellent question. She inquired, "Excuse us, Mr. Erick and everyone. But… what happens when school starts for us again back in town? Won't our schedules conflict with that?". Star also added in on what would happen if everyone saw them fatigued and worn out every day.

The Viking celestial warrior replied, "First off, you can address us either by our names. Or by calling us Mentors or Teachers. None of that mister or missus titles. Makes us feel old.".

Danny stated without thinking, "But you are old.". He covered his mouth quickly, and the girls plus Yukiko and Huizhong giggled a little at his little slip-up.

Monifa quipped, "While that is technically true, us 'old' warriors can still take you down quick and easy.". It was no threat, but smug truth and the humans knew that all too well. Danny nodded vigorously, mentally noting to THINK before speaking.

Alex stated, "However, Paulina and Star state excellent questions. And here is the answer. When your mortal school is finished in repairs and it starts up again on normal functions, you will attend classes and such there. But when you return back here to Sanctuary, time will stand still back in your world.".

Valerie inquired, "What do you mean? Can you please explain?".

Hototo answered, "When you come home from your school, which to my knowledge is 5:00 in the evening, we will give you an hour's rest there. Upon 6:00 p.m., you will be teleported back to Sanctuary here. When you arrive, we will be outside time itself. You will all take the schedule and lessons as always here, all at the same time span. When it is all done, you will be brought back to your homes and back in time.".

Yukiko added in, "It was as if you only left for ten minutes, even though the normal hours seemed to go by in Sanctuary. Thus, you can continue training here while still maintaining your normal school routines.". Needless to say, they were very much impressed. Especially on the part of leaving time itself.

Erick spoke, "Now you have learned two things. One, never underestimate your mentors on finding a solution, no matter what field. And second, you have learned that we can dish out anything, even if we are 'old' by your standards. Now, dismissed.". The five vanished from the place, leaving the six humans to their own devices now.

Danny turned around and was prepared to leave when Star gently touched his arm, getting him to turn around and face her. He smiled and asked, "Hey Star. Are you ready for tonight?".

The beautiful blonde beauty smiled and answered, "Of course. A good movie with you, and dinner later on. Still can't believe that you got us reservations at Olive Garden. It's one of the best places around Amity.". Danny wanted to make this night special for Star, so he called and made arrangements for reservations for two at Olive Garden. Luckily for him, he had saved up enough allowance and odd jobs over the years to do this. He was saving the money for a rainy day, and it seemed that this was that day.

The young halfa stated, "It was close, but we got it. I hope this doesn't seem like cliché and all, a movie and dinner on a first date.". He really wanted to make a good impression on Star, and he thought that this scenario was old and done with before. He assumed that Star wanted to do something more exciting on a first date, but this was the best he could do.

Star smiled softly at Danny and replied, "Not really. I mean, yes, the first date is always like this. A movie and dinner. But, I don't mind. As long as I am with you, and I have your attention, it'll be good. Besides, just because something has been done over and over again doesn't mean it's out of style. Once in a while, you need to change and mix things up to keep it interesting. But for now, this will suit me just fine.". The young man was very pleased at her answer, and also slightly surprised on her insight. Truly, Star had not only a beautiful body, but a brilliant mind to match it.

"Okay then! I'll see if I can pick you up at 7:00, and we can…" he started to say when Star put a finger to his lips to quiet him. The beautiful young lady stated that she would meet him there at the Cineplex at 7:15 p.m., fifteen minutes before the movie started. When Danny asked why, she just gave him a mischievous smile and replied that it would be a surprise.

She walked off with a certain skip in her step, and he saw the other girls giving him knowing looks with smirks on their faces. They all left the realm and Danny thought, 'Something tells me that this is a night I will not forget. I just hope it's a good way, not an awkward or bad way.'.

~End flashback~

The young man was wondering where his date was, and when he heard a soft voice call out his name, he turned around… to find a REALLY beautiful blonde angel right in front of him! Star was wearing her hair down as usual, but had a certain luster that made it more beautiful. She was wearing a simple but amazing deep red dress that clashed well with her looks. It was not so low that it showed off too much, but it was enough to show to Danny her amazing legs. Her top showed a little cleavage, but not too much as it would be labeled as slutty. She wore a little make-up on her face, but it was light enough to really enhance her beauty. Her lips were a brilliant shade of red with the right amount that her lips look very soft, supple and any boy begging to kiss her. A little blush on her cheeks, and she looked to be a supermodel right out of the highest class of fashion shows!

Daniel's eyes were wide and his mouth open a little, very much surprised to see Star as a very beautiful angel now. The boys around the theater stopped to ogle and just stare at the beautiful blonde beauty. Many whistled and called her flattering names, soon getting slapped or beat down by their girlfriends before being taken away. Star's eyes were only focused on Danny, and the young hero felt quite honored that this was so. She went up to him and asked, "So Danny, how do you like it? Sorry I took so long.".

Fenton finally got his brain back together, smiled at Star and replied, "It's okay, Star. After seeing you like this, you are certainly worth the wait.". That got the blonde beauty to blush bashfully, making her look very much cuter to Danny and the boys. He offered his arm to her, and the two soon walked together into the Cineplex. Many of the patrons, both outside and inside the Cineplex, were amazed when upon closer inspection, the couple was Star and Danny! The girls were getting a bit warmed up upon seeing Fenton, and the boys were in awe at how beautiful Star had become.

The thought that ran through all of their minds was, 'What the heck is going on?! Star and Fenton, together?!'.

In the theater, the couple presented their tickets and made way to Screen #2. Upon arriving, they found that a lot of teens, adults, and kids were inside the theater waiting for the movie to start. "Uh oh… I don't think we can find a place for us to sit together." Danny commented, seeing that the area was almost jam-packed. Luckily, Star was able to spot out some seats that were empty. And by sheer luck, or maybe help from the higher-ups, the seats were in the middle and at the perfect height & angle to see the film! She pointed out the seats, and the two quickly walked up to the middle row to try and get to them. After passing through some patrons, and being able to get by those that had food and not staining their clothing, the couple managed to reach the seats. Sitting down, the two were now set for the movie which would be playing in five minutes.

"Whew! We made it… good eye in finding these seats, Star." Danny complimented, Star giving off a warm smile and holding his hand when the armrest.

"No problem. We got the best seats in the house to the most popular movie, and we're together. I believe that nothing will go wrong at this point." she stated. However, it seemed that she was mistaken at this time. They saw a shadow looming over them, and the two looked up to see that it was Dash and another girl they did not recognize. The big jock was in his usual attire, his letterman jacket on and trying to look all big and macho. However, the imprint where Star and Paulina slapped him last night was still there. Faded, but still visible. The girl on his arm looked to be a Junior-level student; a beautiful young lady with brown skin, shiny black hair in a ponytail, wearing blue jeans, some make-up and black lipstick, and wearing a tank top that was a size or so small for her, showing to all a good amount of cleavage on her ample bosom.

Dash sneered at them and stated bossily, "Hey, Fen-turd. You and your date need to go somewhere else. You're sitting in our seats. Now get lost!". Normally in the past, Daniel would have done what he said or made a big fuss. However, he had changed. He had gotten training and had the support of five of the most beautiful women on this world. Danny just looked at him with hard eyes, and even Dash was a bit startled by the look in the teen's eyes. Star was glaring at Dash too, and the child sitting next to her on her left could feel the hair on his arms rising a little bit like static electricity.

The halfa hero shook his head and spoke clearly, firmly , "No, Dash. We got here first, and there are some seats left in the very top of this room. Now please, go away. The movie is about to start in a couple of minutes.". Baxter was incensed that his punching bag was growing a spine now, and in his view, making him look bad in front of his date. He reached out to grab him by the collar of his shirt, but before he could get to it, Danny made a quick motion and grabbed his arm. Dash was surprised by this move, and even more so when he felt Fenton squeezing his arm. He actually winced a little as Danny applied more pressure.

'W-What's this?! Why is Fen-turd's grip so strong?! Urgh… uhhh! I can't even move my arm to get out!' Dash thought frantically. His date looked and was mildly surprised that anyone could get a grip on Baxter, and even more so to cause him to wince and squirm to get out.

Danny said in the same tone, "Dash, I'm not the same punching bag I was in the past. And, I don't want anyone else right now touching me except Star here. Now, please. Go find some other seats.". Star was proud of her date standing up for himself, and it showed on her face. After a few moments, Fenton released the arm and Dash quickly pulled it back. He rubbed his left arm to get the pain out, and was glaring at Daniel. If looks could literally kill, Danny would be a pile of ash. Seeing the movie attendant down below and ready to call the manager, or even worse security, Dash merely grunted at his former beatdown bag and took his date to the upper levels. The beautiful brown-skinned woman gave Danny an apologetic look and slipped something into his hand before going with Dash.

Star took the slip of paper and read it, "Call me- Tiana Starlight: 255-7345. Humph! Little hussy…". She crumpled the paper and threw it on the ground, causing Danny to chuckle a little at Supreme's little jealously fit. He wrapped his arm around her to comfort her and stated that there was nothing to worry about. He said that although Tiana was pretty, she was beautiful and would not let his eyes wander anywhere for this date. That got Star to smile and give her date a kiss on the cheek, prompting the halfa hero to blush a little. The lights soon dimmed, and the movie screen flickered to life.

~Two hours later~

It was about 9:30 p.m. or so when the movie ended and everyone who saw the Thor movie was leaving the Cineplex. Among those were happy couples, including Danny and Star. The two had greatly enjoyed the movie; Danny for the action-packed scenes, and also for the special effects used in the movie. Star loved the interaction of characters during certain parts, like Thor when he asked his brother Loki for help. The two felt a little sympathy for the Trickster God when he dropped his illusion and showed what really happened after he was told the news of their mother Frigga's death. Though, they did laugh a lot during the parts where Loki transformed during his escape, especially when he transformed into Steve Rodgers in his Captain America persona. They also marveled at the technology that was displayed, though Star was a bit miffed at Jane's Foster trying to use science on the healing part.

"I really don't like it when they try to use science to explain everything. Why not take it as is, and just not to rationalize everything or make it sound so complicated and stuff?" Star complained to her date as they walked away from the theater. Danny laughed and answered that most people wanted it that way.

Star gave Daniel a patient smile and replied, "Not me. For me, I really want to just go with the flow, rely on faith more than science and stuff like that. With science, it takes the fun and mystery right out of stuff. Makes it more harder to believe in something and just go with it, and rationalizing things like what happened in Thor just takes the fun out of it. So… just give me the magic and mystery any day!". Fenton was really liking Star more and more, seeing more of what made her… well, her. She had a taste for magic and mystery, and was quite knowledgeable when it came to mythology. She stood up for herself, and saw that she did not merely followed the crowd as it showed in the past. But she was loyal to her friend Paulina, and also was more intelligent than most gave her credit for. She was a beauty in her own right, outside and in.

He smiled and stated, "You have your wish granted, in a way.". Star thought on it for only a second, then realized that her date was right. They had experienced more magic and mystery then before, and she was to live like that for all the rest of her days. She could live with that, especially now that she had Danny by her side. She snuggled up a little closer to him, and the two decided that the best way to get to their next destination as to fly. Fenton and Supreme were going to duck into an alley and Danny, using his ghost powers, to fly undetected towards Olive Garden, when they heard a shout coming from behind them.

"HEY! FENTON! COME BACK HERE AND TAKE YOUR BEATING FOR NOT LISTENING TO ME!" a familiar voice shouted out. Star and Danny grimaced, the very voice like nails on a chalkboard in their opinion. They turned around with a bored expression on their face to see Dash, with a pissed off look on his face and founding his right fist into his hand. His date looked very much embarrassed by his actions, so she stayed a distance away from him.

Daniel sighed and turned around completely. He shook his head and stated, "Dash, this is getting old. Look, your threats don't work on me and I'm a little busy right now. So please, don't make a spectacle here.". Unfortunately, Dash stalked over to him until he stopped just a few feet from him. Star clung close to Danny, but the teen gently pried her off and motioned his head towards a location. Nodding her head, but showing that she did not want to be separated, she walked away and stood off to the side.

Dash poked Danny's chest hard as he tried to make himself look bigger. "Listen, Fen-turd! I almost about had it with you! First to make me look like a fool in front of the new teacher and staff about a week ago, then you disappear for some time and decide to grow a backbone, and now you have Star and Paulina as your girls?! Things like this aren't supposed to happen! You're the geek, the nerd, the bottom end of the social ladder! People like you need to know your place and just give to the higher people, which I'm a part of! Understand?!". His little tantrum had caused quite a crowd to surround them, forming a ring and causing many to see if they were going to witness a fight. A majority of them had started to take bets, and most predicted that Dash would be the winner of this brawl. However, some had their doubts.

Danny shook his head and looked at Dash with a mixture of pity and anger. He replied, "You really think so Dash? Is that what you believe in? Social ladders? Food chains? Lower and higher people? Man, I thought you were only a jock. But now I see that you're only an arrogant moron that doesn't get anything. You truly are a pitiful fool.". Dash was enraged by this, but before he could lash out, Danny continued. There was a quality in his voice that had everyone listening, and also Star to feel pride for her date. For her soul mate.

Fenton continued, "There are so things like the food chain, ladders and such. But that is not completely everything, and that is an idea that can be broken. People like me, as you said, can rise up to challenges and become something better! I have become something better! I just had a major breakthrough, and now I'm learning and becoming the man I need to be. I don't care much for ideas that you believe in, but I do believe in what matters. People. I believe that with enough courage, faith, strength and hard work, they can rise up above their stations! They can become more, if they get out from their own shells and the boxes that people like you try to keep them in!". A lot of people, especially the ones that were bullied or looked down upon, seized upon Danny's words and started to draw some strength from it. Star just had a smirk on her face, but this one was of pride, warmth and joy at seeing her soul mate now standing up for all to see.

The halfa hero continued, "There are boundaries and limits set place, yes. And we need to make sure not to cross them while trying to exceed limits. That is called self-control, something you lack Dash. And before I end this Dash and go with my beautiful date to dinner, I just want to say this. For all the strength and tactics you have on the football field, you really lack a lot in the other departments. It's just a huge waste to see your potential squandered on an idea like food chains and such.". Danny turned around, and was walking away from a now seething Dash Baxter. In his mind, what Danny stated was an affront and insult to his very being. And that, he would not endure. In fact, if one were to see his face, they would compare it to Vegeta after he saw his own blood during his battle with Goku in the Dragonball Z anime show.

"ARGH! THAT IS IT! YOU'RE DEAD, FENTON!" he exclaimed as he charged in fast to punch Danny in the back of the head. A lot of people were startled by this action, and many yelled at the young teen to dodge the incoming attack. However, Star was not worried and Danny was the same. With surprising speed and reflexes, Daniel dodged the strike and spun behind Dash. Everyone was surprised by this, especially Dash when his fist hit nothing but air and he turned around to see a bored expression on Danny's face.

"Really, Dash? A strike from behind? Now you really are someone without honor." he stated in a firm voice. Dash merely yelled in rage and continued to throw punches and such at his target, but all of his hits missed. Danny had gone up against many powerful foes in the past as Phantom, and now with him being trained by five celestial beings who were among the elite in the Heavenly realm, his reaction speed and reflexes were now honed greatly. Not about close to a professional fighter, but an intermediate at best. For seven minutes, Danny continued to dodged and evade the blows of Dash, who was starting to tire out rather quickly. Soon, he was tired and panting, out of breath while Danny didn't even break into a light sweat as the young teen stood in front of his enemy.

Daniel then remembered something from his teachings earlier, when he read the book that was in his quarters in Sanctuary. It was the book I am the Christian the Devil Warned You About by Mario Murillo. It went like so:

~Flashback~

After training with the Target Practice session, Yukiko looked to Danny and stated, "I believe you need to go back to your quarters and look at the books in your room. I believe that you will find lessons and secrets in there that will help you out greatly then any training we give you. They will be able to help you, both in your civilian and hero form.". The young man was a bit puzzled by her statement, but he did what she asked and went back to his tent instead of lunch with the girls. He went to his tent, checked out the books and pulled out that one that seemed to call to him.

He sat down on his bed and opened it up, and was slightly surprised and interested on what he read in said book. When he turned to page thirty-seven of the book, he discovered and read up on one of Twelve Principals or Secrets that really got his attention. The first Principles/Secret was called this, "The Why: The One Who Knows What Will Always Be A Servant of the One Who Knows Why". As Daniel read the first secret, his surprise and interest increased greatly on what he read. It read like this:

The word Why packs a universe of power into a syllable. Why means you own the essence, the meaning, the purpose, and intention, and are able to judge what you observe and why. 'What' is defined as 'that which, a thing, an event, circumstance or situation'. Again 'why' is defined as 'the intention, meaning, essence, purpose, reason and design'. The rest went on to show examples on how this secret was used by using stories from the Bible such as Esther, Daniel, Paul, and more. This got Danny's attention good, and he promised to read more in the following days ahead.

~End flashback~

The young hero know knew 'what' Dash stood for, but did not know completely 'why' he would defend it vigorously. He did not know why Baxter was unable to change his view points and unable to accept changes like this. The young man felt pity for the football hero while his anger ebbed away a bit. He thought, 'I'm no psychologist, and never want to be. That's my sister's department. Maybe Dash just needs a massive wake-up call to really see that his views are wrong and twisted up.'. He turned to walk away, going back to a beaming Star who was very proud of him.

Dash panted out, "Come back… Fenton… I'm… not through!".

The young man turned to look at Dash with some pity in his eyes. He replied, "Yes, you are. You are tired, and also making a fool of yourself. I do not know everything about you, Dash. But I do know this. Unless you get some good help in the head, you will never change and become something much worse then you are now.". Dash snarled, and in a rush of anger and hatred, surged towards Danny and Star! The people yelled at them to watch out, but Danny was prepared as was Star. When Dash got close enough for a punch, Daniel turned around fast and delivered a punch straight to Dash's stomach! This caught the bully off guard, especially when he felt the punch. It would seem Danny was strong on how much pain Dash was now showing on his face, and all were shocked when they saw Star do a palm-uppercut, and sent the brute upwards a bit and tumbling back, hitting pavement hard!

All were shocked by this, and Kwan, his loyal friend, went to check on Dash to see if he was alright. The rest looked on to see Danny and Star continue to walk away, not looking back on their annoying foe. Many of the onlookers considered Danny their hero, and the ladies all had their eyes in heart-shapes. Apparently come the morning, Daniel Fenton was going to be quite popular and the talk of the town for quite a bit.

Meanwhile, Danny and Star continued onward towards their destination. Now that little spectacle was over, they both knew they would be hounded, so using Phantom's special powers was not an option for the moment. Instead, they just focused on the scenery around them. Star looked to her date and said, "I'm really proud of you, Danny. You really shook up that arrogant jerk, stood up for yourself and others, and also used self-defense when he attacked. You really have changed, and for the better.". Danny just smiled and replied that he was just venting out but keeping in control. Dash had bullied him for a great deal of his childhood, and even up to this day. But no more, and it felt good to finally be free from the shadow of being completely passive. He thought that if Sam and been there, she would most likely tell him to either keep walking or to just take the beating.

As the two were near Olive Garden, something appeared from thin air and landed in Danny's hand. "Huh? What is this?" he asked softly as he felt the object in his right hand. It was a letter and on it was a seal of looked to be bronze wax seal with the insignia of a wings on it. He opened it up and Star and he read the letter. It went on to say this:

Daniel and Star,

We apologize for the interruption, but we have been informed that tomorrow morning, you all will be assigned your first real mission. Be ready to depart for Sanctuary at 8:30 a.m. tomorrow.

Erick

Both Star and Danny were surprised, and a little nervous when they read that tomorrow would be their first real mission. "I wonder what this mission could be?" Star asked, feeling a mixture of both excitement and nervousness in her heart.

Daniel replied, "I don't know, but we'll find out in the morning. Until then, let's just enjoy the rest of the night. Just the two of us.". The two then went arm-and-arm into Olive Garden, determined to make the best of the night before a big day would start tomorrow.

(Author's Notes: How was this? Sorry if it took so long, but I have been a bit busy. Nevertheless, it is my job and duty to make sure I make updates, so I need to get off my lazy ass and start updating more often!

So, Danny and Dash had their little confrontation and it seems that Fenton kept a cool, level head while Dash flew off the handle. If you were Danny or Star, what would you say and/or do to Dash? Both inside and outside the theater? I have a feeling that you would not take kindly to him interrupting the date.

And also, what do you think their first mission should be and what it entails? Bronze seals means that it's a low-level mission, silver mid-level, and gold being high-level. Danny and his beautiful ladies would be paid in gold and jewels, which can be converted to cash.
