Chapter 14
Snow Fight
It was the first day of winter, James and Sirius woke up early and realised it had snowed over night. They got dressed really quickly and raced down the stairs to play outside in the snow. They built this huge snowman it was bigger than both of them. They had to get Hagrid to put the head on, and after that they kept bewitching snowballs to fly up through the open window and hit Remus and Peter's beds.
Remus and Peter woke up after the 3rd snowball had hit them in the head. They snuck down stairs and they built a bomb shelter and made heaps and heaps of snowballs to hit James and Sirius. They waited in their bomb shelter for them to come back.
"Here they come, Remus." Peter said
"I hope our shelter is camouflaged into the surroundings." Remus said to Peter
"Yeah it is as I was just outside I couldn't see it." Peter replied
James and Sirius started to walk past so Remus and Peter started to through a snowball at each of them at the back of the head.
"Who's there?" James shouted out
"I bet it's Moony and Wormtail, Prongs." Sirius said
"Yeah I bet it was." James agreed
"Let's see if they will throw another one if we turn around." Sirius said planned
James and Sirius turned around and waited, but nothing happened. Remus and Peter were cracking themselves laughing as they through more snowballs towards them. James and Sirius dove behind a tree and started to make snowballs, but every time they sat up to throw them they got hit in the face and then their piles have disappeared.
"Moony this isn't very funny you know." James and Sirius said together their last lot of snowballs James made hit them from above.
Remus and Peter were laughing so hard they had to go to the bathroom. They decided to try and run inside with being seen, then Moony remember that he had taken James invisibility cloak. They put it on and went inside the castle. Everyone was came from their dormitries to have breakfast. Remus shoved the cloak into his bag and they went and sat at the Gryffindor house table to have breakfast/ Remus was pulling a second plate of bacon and eggs toward him when James tapped him on the shoulder.
"You look a bit wet there Prongs." Peter said
"What have you two been doing this morning?" James asked
"We've had snowballs hit as while we were sleeping." Remus said
"Who would have done a thing like that?" James said in a fake innocence voice
"I don't know Prongs, who could do a thing like that." Remus said with a knowing look.
"Hum, let me think." James said as started to thinking.
"I know you and Padfoot left the dorm early I watched you go." Remus said
"did you happen see who wlse was outside this morning cause someone was throwing snowballs at is from all over as though someone bewitched our snowman to drop on our heads, I have only just managed to get free from it." James said
"I don't know who that could have been. I didn't know any one else was outside apart from you and Padfoot." Remus said
"I think it was you two." James said pointedly
"Hey where is Padfoot any way?' Peter said trying to change the subject.
"He is still trying to get out from under the snow." James said
Sirius walked into the Great Hall shivering as he sat down next to Remus and started to eat everything that he could reach.
"Hey Moony I promise to never throw a snowballs at you again." Sirius said
"No how about just while I'm sleeping." Remus replied
"Deal." Sirius said
"You've got admit it was pretty funny." Peter said
"Yeah maybe for you, but not for us." James said
"Well we got the kick out of doing that as you did in bewitching snowballs though the window to hit us." Remus said
"True." James and Sirius said
The rest of the day went pretty normal for a school with witch and wizards especially with a group called the marauders there were their normal pranks on the Slytherins.
