Ghost Stories and Screams

Summary: It's Halloween and Kano decides to have a little fun at the expense of two certain people.

"Do we need anything else?" Kido asked everyone pushing the shopping cart.

"How about barbecue." Konoha said.

"For the thousandth time no." she answered.

"He sure does love his barbecue." Ene said.

"Yeah but if mention's it one more time I'm going to punch him" Hibiya said

"People we have a second Kido here." Kano joked as the boy glared at him.

"Though I doubt the kid would actually punch anyone." Shintaro said patting the boy's head.

"We're going to leave you behind!" Seto called out to the 3 boys as the group continued their shopping. Once they had everything they headed for the checkout when Kano spotted an aisle full of candy and costumes and decided to have some fun on Halloween.

Heading back to base Kano put his plan in motion when he saw a costume store. "Hey Hibiya."

"What is it." Hibiya asked as Kano whispered something to him handing him cash.

"Got it."

"Fine but you owe me." the boy whispered back. "Hey guys' Konoha want's to see something."

"I do?" Konoha said.

"Yes you do we'll catch up later." Hibiya said dragging a confused Konoha with him.

"Be careful!" Kido called out.

"Hey guy's let's tell ghost stories when we get back since it Halloween." Kano suddenly said.

"No way." Shintaro said

"Is Master scared.~" Ene teased.

"Why not it sounds like fun." Seto said

"Yeah let's do it." Mary said.

Seeing as how they were excited for it Kido decided to go along with it even if she wasn't looking forward to it. Once at the base Momo decided to go first for the story as Kido and Shintaro held on to each other. "When the man answered the phone he was told to look outside. When he did he saw the girl who fell of the cliff laughing."

"'WHAT THE HELL IS THAT!" Kano yelled said not looking at anything particular but that was enough to scare the scaredy cats.

"AHHHH!" Shintaro and Kido screamed making break for the door as Konoha and Hibiya returned bags in hand.

"Hey we got yo-WOAH!" Konoha quickly pulled Hibiya out-of-the-way as the two scared teen ran out of the base.

"Welcome back you two." Momo said as Hibiya handed Kano a bag.

"I'm sure that was you're doing."

"You know it." Kano answered the boy looking through the contents.

"What's in there?" Mary asked.

"Oh you'll see." he replied smiling up. "Listen up everyone."

After running who knows how far Shintaro and Kido now stood hesitantly in front of a familiar door with the number 107.

'Why do I have a bad feeling about this.' Shintaro thought not really wanting to enter. "Well lady's first."

"No way." Kido said also feeling that something was off.

"Well we can't just stand here." Shintaro said opening door but neither stepping in as they noticed it was pitch dark inside.

"Okay now I know somethings up." Kido said the two continued to debate not noticing someone approaching from behind.

"You think we shou-" Shintaro didn't get to finish his sentence as they were pushed inside turning around they saw what looked like a zombie smiling evilly at them as he closed the door.

"Was that Seto?" Kido asked slightly freaked out.

"Looked like it." Shintaro said pulling his phone out to use like a flashlight.

"Hello there." the witch said.

Even though he couldn't see her face Shintaro recognized his sister's voice. "What is it."

"W-What d-doll." Kido silently cursed her stutter.

"Oh there it is." she said happily pointing behind the two. Turning around they saw the most creepiest doll ever hanging by her neck from the ceiling. they ran before bumping in to something or someone. Shining his phone Shintaro breathe a sigh of relief seeing Konoha wearing a werewolf costume.

"Jeez you had me worried there." Shintaro said as the girl next to him tried to calm her beating heart. The android lifted his finger-pointing to something behind is friends when they felt a chill run down their spine.

Slowly turning their heads the where meet face to face with Scream.

"AHHHH!" Shintaro screams as he heard a loud thud next to him. As the lights turned on he looked down to see Kido out cold.

"OH MY GOD I CAN'T BELIEVE KIDO PASSED OUT!" Kano laughed as he deactivated his eye ability revealing him in a vampire costume as everyone came out.

"Onii-chan are you alright?" Momo asked.

"NO I COULD HAVE HAD A HEART ATTACK!" he yelled at her as a familiar scream from his phone caught his attention. "Ene did you record that?"

"Really you should know me better by now Master."

"What now?" Hibiya asked in a ghost costume poking the unconscious leader's cheek.

" I have no idea all I do know is that when Kido wakes up she is going to kill Kano." Seto said as everyone turned to Kano saying a prayer.

"That is not funny." Kano said as Seto carryed Kido to her room.

I swear I like scaring Shintaro and Kido almost as much as having Kano get beat up. The story Momo told was The Person Who Committed Suicide While Laughing urban legend from the new Bookmark of Demise novel.
