A Place in this World:

For the first time in many years the realms were at peace. No one needed to live in fear of an enemy on the verge of invading their lands and destroying all they knew. With the peace there came a calmness that had spread across the lands.

When the Westchester army had returned to Westchester, Pietro and Ororo were married. The ceremony was open to those that fought in the war and all that could to attend on short notice. The wedding brought life back to the vacant city of Westchester. During the celebration Westchester was once again filled with life and happiness, something Bayville had denied the city for a long time.

Afterwards, Pietro vowed to restore Westchester and work to end any further conflict amongst the realms and titles. He and Hank had created a treaty of all people in kroYweN. The basis of the treaty called for no more segregation, no more diversity. No one would be treated differently based on their title or realm. After the unity that helped defeat Bayville the thought of not living in a co-existing world seemed absurd.

Not long after the wedding Scott and Piotr left to return to Niagara. The intent was to bring their families back to Westchester to reside. Scott had asked Bobby to join them for the company. While Bobby had been temporarily occupied with Emma he did recognize this as possibly the last time they would be able to spend time with one another with their lives drastically changing. As part of the Militia and the ever changing city of Westchester, Bobby finally felt like he finally belonged somewhere with a title that suited him.

Bobby had asked Warren to come as well. He sensed the change in the man and knew he had been in a very depressive state ever since Betsy died in his arms. Warren was slowly changing because of her. Her death had hit him especially hard and Bobby wasn't sure what the end result with Warren would be.

It didn't come as a surprise when Warren refused to return to Niagara with them but Bobby was surprised when Warren said to give all of his fortunes and lands to those in their town in Niagara.

Warren wanted a new start, a new beginning in Westchester and he wanted to earn everything he got from here on out himself. So he stayed and looked to find an identity for himself. He began working with Hank as an ambassador between the realms. Warren wanted to help each realm flourish to their fullest potential. Warren would forever be grateful to the woman who had seen something inside him he didn't even know was there.

Before they left Westchester Piotr was named guardian of Katherine, after they heard of Logan's last instruction, while he continued his training as Militia. The position was a high honor for anyone as it showed trust in him as a person and a Militia.

Of those that remained in Westchester, Emma started an academy that would train Seers. With Raven gone those with the destined title could now train freely without fear of death for using their powers. Over the years she had been collecting readings and trainings from previous generations hoping this day would one day come. It finally had.

Rogue had found solace in the group from Westchester she fought with. The final battle saw her make the complete transition from Bayville to Westchester. She had no reserves about the choice. She had lost the people she was closet with; her mother and her best friend, St. John. In return she had gained a larger group of companions. She had gotten a father, a mother figure, in Scott Summers stability and with Remy only time would really tell.

Rogue missed her mother but after what had happened at the Day of Reckoning, the loss didn't seem as bitter now. For now with her grief so fresh and the drastic change in her life she couldn't stay in Westchester. She needed to get out and get her mind straight after all that had happened in the last couple of months.

Ever since the defeat of Bayville, Westchester needed to locate the other search parties Bayville had sent in search of the child. They also needed to be sure there were not any left to continue the violent cycle of Bayville. Rogue was given a small army of Westchester Militia to lead. Rogue was the ideal candidate to head such a mission since she was Bayville. To no one's surprise Remy had enlisted himself into the army as well.

This prophecy had brought them all together and now they were heading in their own directions. Most, at the present, away from Westchester.

The Not too Distant Future:

When Scott returned to Niagara he was greeted as a hero. Word of all that had happened at Bayville had spread across the realms. He felt a bit embarrassed by the attention but when he saw Jean and their children beaming with pride when they saw him he smiled, proudly.

Dismounting the horse he moved across the crowd, hands patted him on the back as he passed. He didn't notice anything until he had Jean in his arms.

They held onto each other for a long time. "I was beginning to think I would never see you again," she said into his shoulder. At his sides he felt Nathan and Rachel hugging him. He wrapped an arm around them both. A smile spread across his face. "Never," he replied.

Jean laughed and kissed him. When they drew apart Scott knelt down and pulled his children into in a loving embrace. It had seemed like forever since he'd last since his family. He never wanted to be apart from them for so long ever again. With Bayville defeated he didn't need to.

"I want us to move to Westchester," he said looking from his kids up at Jean. She looked down at him waiting for him to continue. "They are starting an academy for Seers to begin training again. You can finally become what you were always destined for my love. The Sorcerer Ororo Munroe talked about having me go to Plattsburgh to train once we are settled."

"What about the farm, everything here?" Jean asked.

"Jean, you know I am not a farmer and those in the mines would gladly take over our farm."

"Will we get to meet the King?!" Nathan asked. Scott looked at him. Nathan had always been an admirer of stories he'd been told of the King of Westchester and his Militia. Rachel on the other hand looked up to the Sorcerer Ororo. Upon hearing the news of the move Rachel got excited.

"And the Sorcerer Ororo!?" she exclaimed. Scott laughed. He really had been gone a long time and been through a lot seeing as how he was now friends of these living legends.

"We'll see. But you both have to promise to be good and mind your manners," he said sternly. Both children nodded eagerly as Jean slapped him in the back of the head. She knew he was friends these people from the stories that were told and was tormented the children. Scott laughed. "Of course you guys will get to meet them. The first opportunity we get."

…..

The Summers' family spent the rest of the evening gathering their belongings and getting ready for the move. Later on they had made their way to the town square. Amongst the crowds they saw Bobby talking with Piotr. Rachel and Nathan had found a bunch of their friends and had run off to say their goodbyes.

When they approached they were just in time as Piotr was about to explain how he had convinced his family to move with him to Westchester. "They did not agree at first but I convinced them this benefits us all. I will get compensated as Militia and they can use that money towards the farm. Westchester has a need for farmers so they will not have to worry of the sale of crops every year," Piotr said.

"That is good news," Jean said. Bobby nodded as well.

As they were about to meet up with some other friends they heard the horns sounding, which always meant something important was about to be discussed. They had all gathered around the stage and waited. At first no one stepped up to the stage and the Dweller's began to look around. Scott did a double take when he saw who approached. It was the great Sorcerer, Charles Xavier.

Scott watched as the legendary Sorcerer walked past him. Charles' eye caught Scott's and smiled at the soon to be Sorcerer. Despite all he had been through Scott was still in awe of Charles' presence.

Charles climbed up to the stage and turned to face the gathered crowd. He smiled again thinking back to the first time he stood upon this stage. He was indeed correct about Scott and the man's potential. Charles had been here for the start of the man's journey to greatness, he surely wouldn't miss being here for the end of his journey here in Niagara, as a Dweller.

"It prides me to be here today. These Dweller's left here as such on a journey that ended in the battle that will forever be remembered as the Day of Reckoning. Each of them played a role in the defeat of Bayville saving us all from evil. And now they are leaving Niagara to begin their new lives and to finally start training as the titles they were destined for."

Everyone cheered for the three men and they looked around, sheepishly. Scott felt Jean squeeze his hand in support. Beside him Piotr received a kiss on the cheek from his mother, a pat on the shoulder from his father. The young man then picked up his little sister and put her on his shoulders so she could gain some of the attention. Bobby merely smiled and waved at the crowd.

"I knew it was you, Scott," Charles said as he approached the heroes. They all turned to face the Sorcerer. "Knew what?" Scott asked, the attention distracting him.

"Knew you were the one to end this war," he answered.

Scott shook his head. Without everyone involved in this journey he never would have had the chance to confront and defeat Raven. "That is nice of you to say but all of us made this possible," Scott replied gesturing towards Piotr and Bobby.

"Yes, but only one truly defeated Raven. Imagine the possibilities of your potential once you have truly harnessed your title," Charles said. Thinking of it that way Scott could see what the Sorcerer and many had been telling him for a while.

Even still he saw greatness in those surrounding him. Piotr at such a young age held so much potential especially as a Militia and now the Guardian of Katherine Pryde. Bobby who never had a path to follow and was always loyal, he now experienced life as a Militia and survived the Day of Reckoning. Life had finally offered him an opportunity to thrive. Westchester showed him what a path to greatness he could achieve.

Jean, a Seer whom he knew had great potential that had yet to even be tapped. Even the future generation, his children Nathan and Rachel each possessed a natural capability of leadership and skills beyond their years.

With Bayville defeated they could finally seek the evolution that had been denied to them. The future never seemed so bright.

~Epilogue~

"Wha' are yah doi' here?" Rogue asked as Remy rode up beside her.

He hadn't gotten into her personal space yet, but that was soon coming. "Remy though' he'd stick around. Make sure you don' go back to de dark side," he said, playfully.

Rogue scowled at him. Remy took that as an invitation to intrude closer. Now riding side by side, Remy brushed himself against her.

Understanding the type of journey this would lead to Rogue decided to let him know what was in store for him. She eyed him coyly. "Wha' makes yah think Ah haven't already?" she asked seductively. Remy chuckled at her reply looking from the road ahead to the woman beside him.

She stared into his red and black eyes and pulled the reins, her horse stopped in his tracks. Remy complied. Her eyes moved down towards his lips and Remy couldn't help but return the gesture. He watched as she moved in for a kiss, moving in a little on his own he waited for that moment of contact, but it never came. Her lips stopped just short of his and he could feel her breath on his face.

Remy looked at her questionably. As a reply Rogue gave him a mischievous grin and steered her horse at a full galloped ahead. Remy looked on confused and frustrated. Regaining his composure he grinned devilishly and was about to chase after her when he felt his saddle slide to the side of his horse. The next thing he knew he was on the ground face up as his horse continued on without him. She had cut his saddle strap and he had been too distracted to notice!

He pulled himself up into a sitting position on the ground and saw Rogue had stopped with a mighty head start just watching him. The grin that was still on her lips had spread even further when he caught her eye. "Don't go fallin' for meh now, sugah," she called out. Chuckling playfully she turned and galloped away, now almost out of sight.

Remy picked himself up off of the ground and collected his saddle. A vengeful smile played on his face. 'Dis means war,' he thought as he rushed to catch up to his horse. He started planning his own fitful retribution to the only woman he would ever chase after.

~Epilogue~

Amongst the great hall, Pietro sat on his chair and listened to the concerns of those who had any. Ever since the treaty was delivered to all of the realms of kroYweN there were those that felt the treaty conflicted with the freedom of each realm. But overall most of the people felt the treaty was fair and practical. Pietro knew he would receive backlash for the treaty but after all of these years, after what the realms had just been through with Raven and Bayville, it didn't seem right allowing segregation to continue to rule all of kroYweN.

Now, before him stood Sebastian Shaw, an up and coming Militia General who showed great promise before the last three battles with Bayville. The man had come from a respectable family. All of whom served the realm of Westchester valiantly through each generation.

He stood, groomed to perfection, an articulate vibe about him. In his stance held a leadership quality that was just waiting to be unleashed onto those that would follow him. Pietro respected the man, but not what he stood for.

"I object to the unification of all realms. Bringing unity to Westchester will only dilute the talent of the Militia," Sebastian Shaw said.

"I can understand your concern for change, but I cannot allow segregation to blind us from the uniqueness of the people of this world," Pietro countered.

This particular meeting had been ongoing for a while and Pietro knew the two would never see eye to eye on the matter. It was Sebastian who chose to end the discussion before Pietro could find a polite way of dismissing the man.

"Then I request the reopening of the Hellfire Club and the means to see it to its former glory. I also request to name myself as the Black King, as my father was."

Pietro took in his request. It was a relatively simple set of requests that Sebastian was more than entitled to. "I do not approve of the segregation you seek, but since you have more than paid your dues to this realm during the battle and as a Militia, your request for the Hellfire Club and Black King is granted."

Sebastian grinned. Bowing his head to the King of Westchester, he turned and exited the great hall. Sebastian wanted to get the club up and running again. Ever since his father died serving the realm years ago the club's membership had begun to dwindle due to countless members dying from fighting in the war. After a time his mother was forced to shut the club down. The building had been vacant for years and he had vowed if he survived this war he would see it resurrected.

He knew this opportunity would allow him to maintain an exclusive club that would hide his Inner Circle that would one day revolt against Pietro and return Westchester to its' former glory. Sebastian intended to make this realm more powerful than it ever was before.

He would avenge the realm and all those that died for Westchester. Perhaps he would even create a project to awaken these feelings in every title across the lands against this treaty. Only time would tell.

A/N – I have NO intentions of writing a sequel to this. I left this open as with any story nothing really ever ends, just new stories begin. Perhaps someone else might feel up to the task ;) (even though I used quite a bit of the characters in this fic)
