"Make sure Sammy is ok."

It was his first thought of the day. Always. Had been since he was four years old. It was ingrained in him, the only thing that had kept him going for basically his whole life. Even when Sammy didn't care, didn't want his attention he still had to check. He had to make sure his baby brother was ok.

"Mom wants me to be brave."
