Hey this Chapter is kinda short but I really wanted to post something because I dont know how long it will before I can... So I hope you enjoy it!
Chapter 13
Sayuri, Lord Kuro's daughter was in Sesshomaru's spring. Her over confidence in stealing the young Lord for herself made her decide that he could not deny her body in the hot spring. She however wasn't planning to be waiting this long she thought he would have picked up her scent and came to her already. They had a few encounters before and she knew he showed no interest in any other demoness. Sighing she figured she might as well get out and get dressed. She would figure out another way to lure in Lord Sesshomaru.
Meanwhile…
Kagome wanted to believe Sesshomaru so badly, his expression said he was truthful but what she saw she couldn't just forget. She pondered on how to remedy the situation at hand. Finally, deciding that she would believe him until proven wrong. She suddenly became lonely she missed her family; she would go see them and let herself think about what to do about her and Sesshomaru. Knowing that he wouldn't be too pleased with what she wanted to do, but she needed advice from her mama.
"Sess… I want to believe in what you said." She began and his beast purred in joyfulness. "But I also need time, I was hoping you could take me to the well." She finished.
She was right he didn't like what she had to say. He frowned at her, wanting more than anything to keep her all to himself. She of course would never allow that. Deciding that it was probably best to give her what she wanted, instead of holding her against her will. His beast growled at the choice its master made.
"I wish to go with you, to your village." He stated.
"Umm, not that I don't want you to come with me, it's just that I'm not entirely sure if you'll be able to or not…" She thought to herself that maybe Kaede would be able to figure out a way for him to pass through the well. Praying to the Kami's that they could find a way to get him through; she did want him to meet her family.
"We will have to try, this Sesshomaru expects nothing less, if the half-breed can they surely I will be able." He told her most assuredly.
"Well, I guess we will have to speak with Priestess Kaede." She told him.
"Good, we will leave after dinner. No need to rush and have you starving during our travels." He ordered.
Kagome nodded and got up to leave the room with Sesshomaru to the dining hall. As they walked out of the hall the scent of another demon's arousal hit their noses. It was male and over powering their senses. Sesshomaru grabbed Kagome around the waist to settle her down all of these new powers were most unsettling for her at the moment. Tomorrow would be a full moon and all females would go into their heat according to Lady Kimi, Sesshomaru's mother.
Unknown to the new couple there was to be a contest. A fight over the most strong would enter and fight for the right to mate for whom they deemed worthy. The High Council had determined that Kagome was far too powerful to not test who would be best for her. Of course little did they know about Kagome and how she might react to their idea. There already were many contestants who had signed their names to become Lady Kagome's mate.
But the top offenders were: Koga, Hikaru, and Takahiro. Kagome only knew of two of the three, but of course when Sesshomaru finds out what will he do when his highest ranking soldier Takahiro put his name in to win the love of his life?
