Add walks silently behind the three girls who are chattering happily among themselves. Turning to look at Eve, he sees that she is the quietest among them all, only responding with a smile or a tiny laugh that matches her petite build. He realises upon closer inspection that her hair is not at all white, but a warm silver, nearing a very pale platinum blonde.
He looks at her small, slender figure. The darkness around him definitely got the better of him, as such a weak person definitely looks nothing like his sister. She turns around and he gasps inside, knowing that he has been caught staring, but turning away would be too obvious, so he keeps his eyes on her. Her mouth is moving, but he can't peel his eyes away from her.
"Hello? Helloo?" The blonde haired elf waves a hand in his face, interrupting his thoughts. He blinks in response and stares at her with a raised eyebrow.
"What's your name? Didn't you hear Eve talking?" She says with her arm on the small girl's shoulder. Hearing that name makes him smile slightly.
Eve, eh? He turns to look at her. The elf stares him dead in the eye and the small one just stares at her boots. He wonders if she is nervous, as he is more than amused seeing her put out such human like behaviour. He had never believed the books when they had talked about how human-like the high ranked Nasods were.
Let's see how human you can be, Eve. His smile widens and she glimpses at him, and he is more than impressed at the effect he has on her.
"Add." He says while cocking his head to a side.
Eve looks up, finally daring herself to look at his piercing magenta gaze. She frowns as she feels an unfamiliar chill go down her spine, along with a small tingle in her tummy.
"We're home!" Rena bursts through the door.
"We brought someone home with us too. He said he's homeless!" She singsongs as she skips to the kitchen with the groceries and Eve trailing behind her.
"Elesis, I need to talk to you." Raven says, standing up from the sofa.
"I have a bad feeling about this. Are you sure?" Raven says quietly as they go upstairs to the corridor where they can't be heard.
"I guess. It should be okay. Eve said so, and I really like her. She's so cute." She shrugs and he sighs while looking at her disapprovingly, finally smiling and giving her a peck on her forehead.
Add sits on the dining table in the kitchen area with an elbow rested on it, while Eve brisk walks into her room on the ground floor. He wonders why she seems to be in such a rush as his eyes follow her subconsciously.
"Where's she rushing off to." It slips out of his mouth before he can stop it, but he tries to act natural and pretend it didn't happen.
"Hmm, no idea." A girly voice responds and his heart stops. He had forgotten that Rena was in the kitchen.
"She's spent all day in her room and only came out for meals. I hope she isn't depressed." He doesn't respond. She didn't look depressed to him. Then again, it's hard to tell with depression.
"Anyway, Add," Rena continues as he rolls his eyes, annoyed with the idle chatter.
"Can you help me peel the potatoes? Having to prepare for six is killing me." He sighs and ruffles his hair as he stands up, walking over and picking up the peeler next to her to start peeling the potatoes.
