Fourteen- Baby Sitting

"Are you sure it will be okay...?" Gohan asked Pan for the tenth time.

"Yes," she stressed out to her parents. "You two go!" They had planned an anniversary get away for the weekend... But they didn't know that Goku and Chi-Chi would be at Master Roshii's for a visit with Krillin and family... Or that Goten was going with them.

"I don't know Panny, you two will be all by yourselves," Videl spoke up nervously.

"Mama, we'll be fine," Pan gave her a hug. "Maybe I'll call Bulla over later and she can help... But it'll be nice to spend some time with Izard. I don't really get to that much anymore."

Videl smiled, "well, you girls have some fun then, okay?" She said, hugging them both tightly.

"Make sure you keep the doors locked, and don't open it for strangers," Gohan told Pan as he hugged her and Isabella.

"Papa..." The teen mumbled, "I know..."

"Alright, we have to go now," Videl said as they walked to the door. "You two have fun I love you both!"

"We love you too!" Pan and Isabella said simultaneously, waving their parents goodbye.

"What's first on the list, Izard?" Pan looked down at her once their parents were gone.

"Park, Pan-nee!" Isabella grinned.

"Okay, but you got to wear your coat," Pan told her, putting on her dark grey jacket.

"I don't want to wear my coat," Isabella whined.

"But it's cold outside... You might lose your nose," Pan told her with a grin.

"Nuh-uh!" Isabella told her, but she put her jacket on nonetheless.

The girls got ready quickly and then headed to a nearby park. As soon as they were there, Isabella ran to the fort, playing and swinging on it.

Ten minutes later, Trunks showed up after getting a text from Pan. He had the hood of his light blue jacket pulled up with his hands in his pockets, he wasn't a big fan of the cold weather.

"Why are we in a park?" He asked Pan, raising a lavender eyebrow.

"Because, I'm not alone," Pan grinned.

He looked confused, and Pan motioned with her head to the fort. "Ah, got the Izard, I see."

"All weekend," Pan nodded. "It's our parents anniversary, and Grandpa, Grans, and Go-nii are at Kami House. So it's just me and Izard... I was wondering if you wanted to hang out with us."

"You're not going to make me do tea parties, are you?" Trunks frowned.

"Let me guess... Bulla?" Pan grinned.

"Yes," Trunks shuttered. "She even made my Dad do it..."

Pan snorted in laughter. "That would be a sight to see! You and Vegeta-san having a tea party!"

"My Mom made us do it!" Trunks defended.

"Hey Niisan!" Isabella yelled as she went across the monkey bars, finally spotting Trunks.

"Hey, Izard!" He grinned back.

"Have you come to play with me and Pan-nee?"

"I guess so," he gave Pan a sideways grin.

"Yay!" Isabella cheered, continuing her play.

Pan went over to the swings before sitting in one, and Trunks sat in the other one beside her. "Wanna race?" She asked him with a smirk.

"When have I ever turned down a challenge?" He asked, smirking back as he stood up holding the chains.

Pan stood up and held the chains as well, "On the count of three..." she told him. "One, two, three!"

The two took of swinging as they laughed and it was soon before Trunks was a head of Pan.

"That's not fair!" Pan pouted, kicking faster. "Your legs are longer!"

"Excuses, excuses," Trunks smiled as he stopped.

Pan stopped as she blew her bangs out of her face. "Not my fault I'm so short..."

Trunks got up out of his swing and stood in front of Pan before grabbing the chains of her swings.

"I like it that you're so short... It's what makes you my Little One," he smirked, leaning down to kiss her.

"I wanna swing!" Isabella ran over to them, breaking the kiss and stealing the seat that was Trunks'. "Push us, Niisan!"

"Yeah, push us Trunks," Pan laughed.

"You women are so demanding," he walked behind them with a sigh.

"Get use to it!" Pan laughed.

Trunks grabbed Isabella's swing and started pushing her first as the four-year-old laughed with glee. He then grabbed Pan's swing and pushed her.

"It's getting dark," Pan commented after a while.

"Who wants some pizza?" Trunks stopped the girls swings.

"Me! Me!" Isabella jumped out of her swing.

"Let's go get some then!" Trunks smiled.

Isabella jumped on Trunks shoulders and Pan held his hand as they walked to the pizza place. Once they got there they sat at a booth. Pan and Isabella on one side and Trunks on the other.

They sat there and ate... And ate... And ate, until their bellies were full. And even then, Isabella was still trying to eat! Pan made a comment that she was much like her Grandpa and Uncle.

"Okay Izard, you need to go up stairs and change into your pajamas," Pan told her once they arrived back at the house.

"Pan-nee, I don't want to," she pouted.

"Ah, that's to bad... I think Mama just washed your ballerina pajamas. But you know if you don't want to wear them, I'm sure I can fit into-" Before Pan was even finished, Isabella was up the stairs and in her room.

Pan smiled as she walked into the kitchen, Trunks following her. He saw BB on the back of the couch and they eyed each other until he was in the kitchen.

"I swear, I have no idea what I did wrong with that cat... He just hates me," Trunks muttered, shaking off his jacket.

"Maybe he's jealous of you," Pan took off her jacket with a smile. "I hear your looks are to die for."

"Ah yes, one can only wish to look as good as I do. But you know, if I was BB that wouldn't be the only reason I would be jealous of myself," Trunks smirked.

"Oh, and what else would there be?" Pan giggled.

"Guess," he told her as she leaned on the counter.

"Well... You're human?" She raised a brow.

"Nope," Trunks laughed.

"Thumbs?"

"Wrong again," he placed both hands on the counter she was leaning on, trapping her against it.

Pan laughed slightly, "I don't know, Trunks. Why would you be jealous of yourself if you were BB?"

"I can't kiss you if I'm a cat, now can I?" His grin was ever so sly, and the look in his eyes made Pan shiver.

"You, Trunks Brief," Pan shook her head. "Can be so unbelievably sweet when you want to be."

"Only for you," he smirked, leaning his head down to kiss her.

"Look at me!" Isabella laughed breaking another kiss of theirs. "I'm a ballerina!" She twirled around and around. She was wearing a white onesie outfit with a big pink tutu on it.

"What a pretty ballerina!" Pan smiled.

"Pan-nee, I want to watch the mermaid movie!" Isabella grinned.

"Oh, okay," Pan told her with a laugh.

Isabella ran into the living room happily. Pan and Trunks shared a look, and the Pan smiled, holding her boyfriends hand and leading him into the living room. Half and hour later, Isabella was sound asleep.

"Will you stay here tonight?" Pan asked Trunks. "I really don't want to be by myself, alone with Isabella that is, at night time."

Trunks nodded and she smiled, "You can find some clothes in Goten's room, if you like. I'll go lay her down," Pan picked Isabella up, carrying the little girl to her bedroom.

Ten minutes later, Trunks and Pan met back down stairs where they turned off The Little Mermaid, which as Isabella's favorite movie, and onto a random channel that had a different dramas playing. They cuddled up on the couch and it wasn't long before the two of them were asleep as well.

"Pan-nee! Niisan!" Isabella woke them the next morning.

"Hey Izard," Pan mumbled, rubbing her eyes. "What's on the list for today?"

"I wanna go to the ice rink," she jumped up and down happily.

"Alright, but let's get dressed and eat breakfast first," Pan told her.

"Okay," Isabella grinned, running back up the stairs.

Pan turned to Trunks, who was barely awake. "Good morning," she kissed him.

"Yeah, it is," he smiled, stretching.

"Want to go skating with me and Izard?"

Trunks made a face, "how about I just watch?"

Pan laughed softly, "afraid you'll fall?"

"That's totally it," Trunks rolled his eyes. "You've caught me. Let me go back to my apartment right quick to change. I'll be back in a few minutes." He leaned over to kiss her, but BB, who had jumped up by Pan, hissed at him instead. Trunks pulled back with a smirk as he looked at Pan. "Told you he was jealous of me..."

Pan smiled down at BB as Trunks left and started petting him as he laid down in her lap. "BB, you have to get along with Trunks, okay...? Or at least try to..." She sighed. She thought about Trunks going skating with them and started smiling. "BB, I think I'm falling in love with him..." She was mainly talking to herself. "I remember thinking he was such a jerk when we first met... And he still can be, but he's so much more... You have no clue what I'm saying, do you?" She looked down at BB, who simply meowed back a response.

Thirty minute later, Trunks was back and ready, but the girls weren't. He could hear the shower going and their laughing. He sighed, knowing he would have to wait. He was surprised when his phone rung, even more surprised to see it was his dad calling him.

"Dad?"

"Where are you, boy?" His father demanded, and Trunks grimaced. How could he have forgotten sparing?!

"Sorry... I forgot," he sighed.

"Let me guess, you're with that Brat?" Trunks could hear the smirk in his voice and sighed.

"Pan, Dad, her name is Pan," Trunks said, though he knew it was useless.

"Boy, you act like I didn't already know that. You really like her, don't you?"

Trunks thought about it for a minute before he spoke. "She's the one, Dad."

"I thought she would be," Vegeta stated in matter of fact tone. "You two are bonding. That's why it feels like your feelings for her grow more every time you see her."

"So basically... This bonding... It's just us falling in love?" Trunks raised a brow. Why did Saiyans have to have different terminology for every word?

"Yes," Vegeta told him. "But Saiyan bonding is a lot more stronger than this simple falling in love shit humans have."

Trunks laughed, "leave it to you to say that."

"Don't believe me?" Vegeta asked, "just wait... Soon you two will be going at it like animals in heat."

"What...?" Trunks whispered as his eyes widened. He would be lying if he said he hadn't imagined being with Pan like that... It was so tempting sometimes!

Vegeta barked out a laugh, "all apart of being a Saiyan, Boy. At least she has Saiyan blood in her, she'll feel it too... And when the time comes, you mark her as your mate. All typical Saiyan stuff."

"I can control myself," Trunks told him. No way was he just going to start acting like a wild animal!

"If you deny it, you could get sick," Vegeta told him seriously.

"I'm not going to make her do anything she's not ready to do, Dad... Even if it means getting sick."

"She will be ready!" Vegeta barked, "that's why you'll be acting so crazy! Because you know she's ready and you want her."

"We've only been dating for a few months-"

"A Saiyan relationship is stronger than any human relationship," Vegeta cut in. "A Saiyan bond is not something to mess with, you never stop loving your mate... Even if they die. The Saiyans with the strongest bonds will even die right along side with their mate, because of a broken heart. Just think about it, Son," he said before hanging up.

Trunks sighed deeply. Even though his father ingrained Saiyan heritage into his brain, some things still confused Trunks. He decided he would just deal with it when the time came.

Twenty minutes later when Pan and Isabella came down stairs they smelled pancakes, eggs, and bacon.

"You're cooking?" Pan asked Trunks, a little surprised.

"You and Izard were taking too long and I was getting hungry," was his answer.

Pan smiled as they ate, who knew Trunks could cook? And he was pretty good at it too!

"Lets go!" Isabella ran to the door once she finished.

"Izard!" Pan yelled after her. "Put on your coat- wow..." she stopped when the four-year-old opened the door to reveal a snow covered ground.

"When did it snow?" Trunks walked up behind them.

"Snow!" Isabella screamed, about to run out side.

"Wait a minute," Pan grabbed her shirt to stop her. "If you want to play in the snow, you have to wear your coat, gloves, and hat."

"Okay!" Isabella smiled, taking off to do just that.

Once everyone was ready they went outside to enjoy the snow. Isabella was having a blast as she laughed and ran around, making snow angles.

Pan was standing beside Isabella, laughing when something hit her back. She turned around to see Trunks with his hands in his pockets and whistling innocently.

"Oh, it's on Boxer Boy!" she told him.

He laughed, winking at her. That started the snowball fight between them before he grabbed her by the waist and made them fall into the snow.

"You like to cheat," Pan smiled.

"I like to win," he corrected.

"Pan-nee, Niisan, let's make a snowman!" Isabella called to them.

"Make a snowman?" Trunks asked her. "Why would you want to do that?"

"It's fun!" Isabella laughed.

Pan sat up and watched as Trunks and Isabella made a snowman.

"Hows it look, Little One?" Trunks asked Pan when it was done.

"That's the best looking snowman I've ever seen," Pan smiled at them.

"Pan-nee," Isabella sniffed. "Can we get some hot coco?"

"Yeah," stood up. "Let's go in."

XxXxX

An hour later after everyone was relaxing when the door opened to reveal Gohan and Videl. They took in the scene before them... Trunks and Pan on the couch with Isabella right in the middle of them... All covered in a blanket and drinking hot coco.

"Daddy! Mommy!" Isabella ran over to them.

"You two are home early," Pan smiled.

"Yes... Well, we were worried since it was snowing, but seems you had help," Gohan smiled at Trunks, who smirked.

"Was you good for Panny?" Videl asked Isabella.

"Of course I was! Did you see the snowman I made with Niisan?" She asked.

"Yeah, you two did a great job," Gohan smile at his youngest daughter. "We haven't seen you in a while Trunks," he laughed.

"I know!" Trunks walked over to him. "My mother keeps me busy, and then you know Pan, always the demanding one."

"Hey!" The teen pouted on the couch as her mother laughed and sat down beside her.
