POV OF THALIA

I was so sick and tired of those two. Percy's my dumb cousin and Annabeth's my best friend but seriously? The way they were acting was making me want to hit them upside the head.

The golden couple had their "big fight" a couple days ago and they still were avoiding each other. If by avoiding you mean making googly eyes at each other from across the room. Honestly, I was surprised they had lasted this long without getting back together in true Percabeth fashion, lots of soft words and kisses and revolting chick flick moments. As a hunter of Artemis, I just cannot grasp the mating rituals of a certain Jackson and Chase.

The fight itself didn't even seem that bad, Kelp Head beat up that dumb trainer and Annabeth got all pissed. I didn't see her logic; that dude was a total jerk, but you can't argue with a daughter of Athena. I had hoped the two would have made up by now. We have our super-secret mission today and it will not help if they are dragging their relationship drama along with them.

As I walked in briefing room this morning, I was immediately ambushed by a flood of District 13 people, all the officials and think-they're-so tough commanders were there and growing impatient. Only half of our team was here and the absent party consisted mostly of us demigods. Little Miss Mockingjay was here too, she had been trying to catch my eye all week. Katniss looked considerably stressed out. Someone had let slip that she was a bit mentally unstable and I assume the recent attacks from the capital really hit her hard. I decided to ignore her for now.

Finally, the rest of the party arrived. Annabeth and Percy arrived together, hopefully that means the end of the drama. Coin gave us a rundown of the plan. I was excited to finally get out there and bash some heads but when I heard the mission I was furious.

"A simple recon mission?!" I exclaimed loudly, making a few people jump at my sudden outburst. "That's all it is? Just go and come back?!"

"Listen soldier." A man retorted, putting stress on the title making it seem like an insult. "This is a matter of great importance. You should be honored to be on this mission. If you don't feel up to the challenge you can leave now."

I might just pull a Percy and bunch this jerk in the face.

"Enough!" Coin says, slamming her palm down on the table. "The hover plane leaves at 13:00 I expect all of you to arrive on time." Percy, Annabeth and the others late arrivals looked a little embarrassed. Coin surveys the room, for what I don't know, but she seems to find it and gives a little nod. "Dismissed."
