AN: Hello everyone! Sorry for the long wait, but I've always wanted to write my own version of Beauty and the Beast story with Mericcup in it because I love the 1991 even since I saw it as a child. I know there is a live action movie that came out that is a different version of Beauty and the Beast and I thought it was alright. I didn't like it that much, but the animation was amazing I just wish certain changes were worked on because to me it didn't fit the narrative that much. But anyway if I do end up writing my own Beauty and the Beast Mericcup, it will be based off the 1991 animated version and some of the musical as well. Enjoy~! :3

~Tale As Old As Time~
~Dunbroch~
Everyone though that Merida was the oddest girls in the village, she normally doesn't do what any ordinary woman would do at her age. They would get married and watch the children at home tending to the little ones as the husbands would work or hunt for the food for the family. But Merida wasn't like that, she loved taking care of her horse Angus and ridding off hunting food for her family ever since her mother passed away when she was little, though she doesn't remember what happened to her mother. She felt it was her duty to take care of her family since Her brothers and her father are the only ones in the house now.
Merida had hunted down a fine deer making enough food for the winter to come for then, she than tide up the deer onto the wagon strapped to Angus and covered the deer with a woven cloth so the smell wouldn't attracted any unwanted attention. However one attention she couldn't get off of.
"Hei Merida." Greeted her.
Merida turned around seeing Dagur smiling at her as Savage wave a 'hello' at her while they watch her finished strapping up the deer she is about to bring to her home.
"Halò Dagur." She greeted in her thick Scottish accent.
She hurried up strapping was needed to be done then hopped onto Angus ready to led him home, but before she could Dagur had his horse step in front of Angus preventing her from moving on.
"Why in the hurry Merida? I only want to chat." Dagur complained.
"It's really nice to see you Dagur but I really must go home, I'll be making dinner for my brothers and my father." Merida stared at the two hopping this would allow then to leave her be.
"Merida I think you should be hunting for your family. It's not right for a woman to do so, it's a mans job to do that. The idea of a woman hunting will get ideas and thinking. Honestly you should paying more attention towards me." Dagur smiled at Merida in which she only looked away from him.
"Dagur you are primeval on some ideas." Merida commented.
"Why thank you Merida. Why don't you come by my house see various hunting riffles I have." Dagur smiled.
"No thank you, I really must get home to my father and my brothers." Merida spoke out.
"That old man? He's always been crazy since he lost his foot!" Savage started to laugh making Dagur laugh as well.
"My father isn't crazy! He's the best riffle maker in the town!" Merida yelled.
Dagur only hit the back the head of Savage hopping to make Merida smile at him for doing so, but this only made her get Angus running. Dagur had to move his horse away as he let Merida ride back home on a hurry.
~Merida's home~
Merida after her wasted time from Dagur Merida finally was able to come home and prepare her families meals, the left overs were in the cooler as she wanted to make sure there was enough for this coming winter. Her three brothers came running inside the house with only one person missing.
"Boys, where father?" Merida place her hands on her hips.
All three of her brother looked each other with misconceives grins on their faces as they all shrug their shoulders.
"Aye, father might be down in the basement." All three of her brother spoke at the same time.
Before Merida could ask, there was a loud shake underneath the house, Merida quickly ran downstairs seeing if her father was alright.
"Those boys always like to cause trouble." Her father yelled.
"Come now, you should eat father." Merida pulled her dad as the table.
All of them were able to each dinner as their father told them that he was leaving soon to another town to sell all the riffles he made, this could give enough money for all five of them a new life together. After dinner Merida help her dad get ready for the leave as she strapped Angus up for the trip, the wagon was filled with riffles that her father was hoping to sell. But as she open the woven cloth covering the wagon she was able to catch her brother red handed as they wanted to ride along with their dad.
"Boys." Merida warned.
"Hamish, Hubert, Harris. What are ya three doing in fathers wagon? Ya not thinking of going with dad are ya?" Merida spoke loudly so their father would be able to hear here.
"What? Boys! You are not going with me!" Fergus yelled at the three.
"B-But dad!" Hamish yelled.
"Listen boys, I can't take you along with me. I wish I could but things are different, I know how you feel about staying here but just until I come back I promise we all will go on a trip as a family." Fergus smiled at his children.
All three of her brothers looked down in defeat as they all hopped out of the wagon and stood next to their sister. Fergus smiled as she hugged all four of his children one more time telling then he loves them all and promises to take them all with him next time.
~Old Castle~
Even if Fergus could remember where he went last time, he was already lost. This doesn't ease his mind a wolves starting to appear one at a time staring at him like prey. Quickly he made Angus run away as they got chased my the wolves. Soon Fergus fell off of Angus and Angus ran off leaving him in front of a castle gates. Fergus ran to the gates opening them as he quickly closed the doors away from the dreaded wolves, he quickly ran to the front door where he knocked onto the door hopping someone can open the door up. In which it did.
Fergus quickly made his way inside looking around to see if the owner was around, or if anyone was there he could thank them for letting him in from the wolves. But no one was around.
"Halò, is anyone there?" Fergus called out.
As he closed the door behind him, he tried to wipe off the rain drops that was still on him, he was soaking wet from the rain from the outside of the castle and wanted to change himself out of the wet clothes.
"Why'd you open the door?" One voice yelled quietly.
"We couldn't leave him out there with the wolves." Another quietly spoke.
"Don't say anything Jack or I swear." The other quietly spoke.
"I-I don't mean intrude, but I've lost my horse and I need a place to stay for the night." Fergus once again looked around him.
"Look just let him stay for the night. Be kind Eret." Jack looked over to his friend.
"No!" Eret yelled quietly.
"Yes, you can stay here sir!" Jack smiled as he walked up to Fergus.
Jack was a silver candle stick with Eret walking next to him, Eret was a metal carving of a dragon called the Rumblehorn. Fergus screamed at the two objects came walking up to him.
"Great Jack! Now I'm hundred percent sure, the Prince is going to kill us!" Eret yelled.
"Don't be alarmed, were happy to set you as guest." Jack smiled.
"H-How? This is amazing." Fergus keeled down staring at the two.
But as the moment he sneezed from the cold he was getting from his soaked clothes.
"You must to cold. Come warm yourself by the fire." Jack leaded to way to their masters fireplace.
Fergur seated himself down as a live wooden racks threw a blanket over him to keep him warm.
"Oh, thank you." Fergus thanked the object.
Quickly as she could, a tea pot came riding on a table on wheels coming to greet the quest with a cup of tea inside of it.
"Here is some tea sir to help warm yourself up." She spoke.
"Maudie!" Eret yelled.
"Here you go sir." A golden duster with sun carvings around it placed new clothes for Fergus to wear.
"Thank you Rapunzel." Jack smiled.
Rapunzel blushed as she walked away.
"Alright, look we've warmed him up now let's get him out of here."
"Raaaaawwwwwwrrrrrr!"
The doors barged open as the fireplace blew out with the gust of wind coming inside the room, this frighten Fergus as he held onto the blanket for dear life.
"M-master, I tried stopping them but I-"
"Raaaaawwwwwwrrrrrr!"
Eret ran away hiding himself from his master along with every other servants in the room.
"What are you doing in my castle?"
Fergus turned to his right staring at a beast, a dragon with large green eyes glaring at him with anger inside them. Frighten to the bones he could only stare at the dragon as he stood from his chair.
"I-I was lost and-..."
"What are you staring at?" The best growled.
"N-nothing." Fergus stuttered.
"Oh I know what your staring at. You wanted to come here to stare at the Dragon weren't you!"
"No!"
"Very well."
The dragon picked Fergus up as he dragged him into the dungeons.
~Merida First POV~
I was cleaning up my room as I notice there was something of a string straightened out for me to trip on, I crossed her arms as I looked around smiling knowing it was my brothers at work. Wee devils they are. An idea came into my head as I was about to pull the string but the knocking of the door stopped me from doing so. I walked up to the door opening it seeing Dagur was there smiling and nicely dressed for perhaps a wedding.
"Morning Merida." He greeted me.
"U-uh.. Morning Dagur. What brings you here?" I stepped back a Dagur continue to walked towards me closing the door.
"Just to bring the most lucky girl in the town a surprise that all." Dagur smiles.
I groaned at his comment, I just wish sometimes he would get the hint that I don't like him at all and leave me alone.
"How is this my lucky day?" I asked Dagur.
"I'm here to make your dreams come true." Dagur walked over to Merida as he sat down taking his muddy boots off.
I had to cover my nose seeing the smell of his feet were bad, he didn't bother to notice that I was completely disgusted.
"What do you know about my dreams Dagur?" I asked him.
"Oh I know, just imagine this. In a rustic hunting lodge, I have my lasted kill over the fire. Then my wife comes over massaging my feet was the little ones play with the dogs." Dagur stood up very close to my face.
"We'll have six or seven. Maybe out of them we'll have girls."
"Dogs?"
"No Merida. Boys like me." Dagur smiled.
I only rolled my eyes at the thought of that, but I saw my brothers hiding staring at me knowing whats going on. I nodded my head as my brothers quickly made their way around plan helping me get rid of Dagur.
"A-ah imagine that." I gave a fake smile.
"You know who that is?" Dagur asked me.
"I don't know."
"You Merida!"
"I'm speechless Dagur." I quckly made my way to the front of the door where I heard the door nob turning.
"Marry me Merida." Dagur followed to the door as he placed his hands both sides of my head.
"I'm sorry Dagur but I think you should look for someone else."
The door open behind me and I stayed where the door opened as Dagur fell into the puddle of mud outside of out house. All of my brothers who were outside of the door were laughing as I pulled all of them inside. I grabbed Dagur's shoes and threw them outside, closing the door and making sure I locked it so Dagur couldn't come inside the house again.
"Ugh! Does he bathe much?" Hamish plugged his nose.
Hubert and Harris laughed as their brother Hamish laughed with them, I only laughed along with them since I told her brother about how Dagur would not stop flirting with me. But I was grateful for their help.
"Alright boys, clean up I'll be right back." I smiled.
"Where ya going?" Hubert asked me.
"To the bakery. Don't worry I'll be fast." I quickly grabbed my things as I opened the door making sure Dagur was gone.
When I saw no one outside I walked towards the outside of my house stepping down the stairs, before I could walk to the town I heard Angus screaming as he ran towards me.
"Angus!" I called.
My brothers opened the door seeing Angus and I. I looked at the wagon and the guns were still there but my dad was gone.
"Where is father?" I asked Angus.
I quickly unwrapped the wagon and making it light to travel to where Angus needs to take me where dad is at.
"You need to take me where he is." I hopped onto Angus's back.
"Wait Merida! Let us come with you." Hamish yelled.
I only shook my head in response because I wasn't going to lose them is something terrible happened to dad.
"Were still coming whether you like it or not." Harris smiled.
I guess I have no choice.
~The old Castle~
Merida finally arrives at the old castle taking Angus insides the gates as she and her brothers hop off and walk to the door. She opens the door telling her brother that no matter what stay with her at all times. They all agree and walk inside the castle with a brand new surroundings.
"Halò?" Merida called.
"Father?" Merida called.
She and her brothers continue inside see stairs as they all walk up stairs looking around for anyone living in this place to help them out. As they were about to turn they heard a door opening and quickly run inside hopping whoever it was could help them know about their fathers wear about's. But as they all got to the top floor they didn't see anyone. This was strange to all four of them.
"Dad?" Merida called out.
"Merida?" Their father called out.
She quickly ran to the cell door he was behind holding his cold ill hands hand outside as her brother ran behind her staring at their sick dad.
"Boy? You all must leave this place!" Their father yelled as he coughed.
"Who did this to you?"
"What are you doing here!?"
Merida had gotten her answer as someone turned her around with a large force. The room was dark and the only light source was coming from the wall side from her fathers cell.
"W-who are you? Where are you?"
"I'm the master of this castle." The voice growled.
"Let my father go please, can't you see he's sick?" Merida pleaded.
"He shouldn't have trespass here! And who are these?" The voice growled.
"These are my brothers, we all came to see our father." Merida answered.
"Well there's nothing you or your brother can do. He's my prisoner." The voice walked away.
"Wait!" Merida called stopping who ever was going to walk away.
Merida only looked away as her mind came up with a bargin she only thought could set her father free to go home with her brothers.
"Take me instead. And let my brothers go home with my father."
"You-...You'd take his place?"
"If I did you would let him go with my brother?" Merida questioned.
"No Merida! Your don't know what your doing!" Her father called.
"No Merida don't!" Her brothers yelled.
"Yes. But you must promise to stay here forever." The voice spoke out.
"Come into the light."
There was only one food that came into the light as the next, then finally Merida was able to see the black dragon her father saw before and was terrified by what she saw. She gasp looking at her father as her father pleaded her not to agree. She stood up walking to the dragon and nodded her head.
"You have my word."
"Done!"
She fell to the floor onto her knees as her father quickly came to her side along with her brother.
"Please Merida, I'm old I've lived my life and-" He was quickly pulled away from her grasp as one of her brothers was being dragged away.
"Wait!"
"Merida!"
All her other brother ran to where their brother was being dragged to and then shoved into a old carriage, where they would be locked inside till their trip home.
"Please spare my daughter!"
"Please spare my sister!"
"She's no longer your concern! Take them to the village."
The old carriage came to life and took all her brothers and father back home where Merida watched from the window and cried her tears out.
The dragon showed her to her room feeling bad for what he had done and demanded her to dinner in which she refused to come to. In anger he banged onto the door demanding her to come down and even tried polity asking if she wanted to. Growled than ran into his room where he grabbed a magic mirror asking to she Merida in it.
"Show me the girl!"
The magic mirror showed Merida talking to one of the dressers as she crossed her arms.
"The master is really nice once you get to know him. Uh, why not give him a chance?"
"I rather not get to know him!" She yelled.
"I'm just fooling myself. How am I going to get her to see me then anything else... But a monster." Tears were brimming his eyes.
After a long while Merida went to explore to see where the kitchen was at since she was hungry, there she met the servent Jack Frost, Eret, Rapunzel, Maudie, Astrid and various others that came in greeting her with care as they fed her.
"Thank you all. That was a wonderful food." Merida smiled.
"Don't need to thank us, you are our guest." Jack smiled.
"Yes, I think it's time for bed." Eret smiled next.
"Oh come on. It's a enchanted castle, I never been in one before." Merida looked around.
Merida was on a tour with Jack and Eret showing them the different places of the castle as she walked up stairs to one place they haven explored yet. Jack and Eret quickly stopped her from continuing on where she was at.
"What's up there?"
"Oh nothing in the West Wing." Eret spat out.
"Aye, that's the West Wing he forbid me to go up to." Merida stared at the doors to the West Wing.
"Came we show you something else, perhaps the library?" Eret smiled.
"Maybe later." Merida walked up away from the two.
Jack and Eret again stopped Merida from walking up any further hopping something will get her interest of something else other than the West Wing.
"How about t-the Garden? O-or t-the Archery rang?" Jack smiled.
"You have an Archery rang?" Merida spoke with excitement.
"Yeah, all of the ranges furthest to closest." Eret informed her.
She only followed back with them a few steps as she quietly walked away continuing her part into the West Wing. She open the door into the room of the West Wing seeing all broken furniture and various paintings broken. One caught her attention of a young looking man as she lifted the shredded piece up reveling a picture of a Young Prince with Dark Brown hair and Emerald green eyes. But a shinning light caught her attention and she saw a glowing flower staring at her.
She couldn't help herself but want to touch the flower that was covered in a glass container, Merida removed the glass container and about to touch the rose as she heard a growl behind her. Turning around she saw the dragon once more glaring at her. She ran away from the table as the Dragon quickly place the glass container over the glowing rose growling at Merida.
"Why are you here?"
"I-I'm sorry."
"I order you not to come here!"
"I-I didn't mean any harm!"
Merida quickly ran outside of the West Wing as the Dragon swung his hand to other broken objects that were inside the room. She made quick heist as she run outside of the castle despite the servants pleas. Hope onto Angus and rode into the forest where she wanted to run from, then the wolves came in started to chase her. Angus broke through a frozen river and quickly got back running as the one wolves jumped at Angus making him stop. His reins where caught into a tree branch and wasn't able to run away.
Merida wishes she had her bow right now, she looked around seeing a broken branch laying on the snowy ground picks it up in defense ready to attack the wolves. But before another step another roar came around making them all run away in fear. Merida questions if this was the Dragon from the castle but turns to see a large black bear staring at her hungry. The bear growled charging at Merida she stood in front of Angus getting the bears attention in which she did making run after her as she ran a couple steps away from Angus.
But she bear chasing her caught her robe pulling her to the ground, she quickly turned around holding his the branch in defense as the bear bite into the branch breaking it in half. The bear growled and over Merida roaring in her face causing her to scream for dear life, but as the bear was about to munch onto Merida the Bear was push off. Looking over she say the Dragon that scared her attack the bear that was going to harm her, the two battle down with roars, scratches and bites at each other till the bear was killed.
Merida saw the Dragon stare at her as it fall to the ground wounded. About to leave she changes her mind and helps the dragon back home where she helps him heal his wounds.
"Here." Merida spoke as she held up a hot towel.
The dragon growled at her pulling his arm away from her.
"Just. Hold. Still." She finally place the towel onto his arms causing him to growl in pain.
"That hurt!"
"If ya hold still it wouldn't hurt that much!"
"If you hadn't run away this wouldn't have happen." He smiled.
"If ya daft self wouldn't have scared me than I wouldn't have run away!"
Merida lifted the injured arm as she saw him growl waiting for the pain to come.
"Thank ya. For saving my life." Merida thanked.
He was stunned to say the least and had possibly started to blush, but he only looked at her.
"Your welcome."
"May I ask your name?" Merida asked.
"Why?"
"We've never introduced ourselves properly, I thought this was a perfect time." Merida answered.
"My name is... Hiccup... Hiccup Haddock Horrendous III." Hiccup spoke.
Merida smiled seeing she finally knows the the dragon that had kept her here including saving her life.
"My name is Merida. Merida Dunbroch."
"That's a beautiful name." Hiccup smiled.
"Thank ya. I think your is wonderful as well." Merida place the towel back into the bowl as she picked it up walking towards the kitchen to get clean water.
"Your arm should be fine now. I'll be outside with Angus if you need me." Merida smiled.
Merida walked outside of the room leaving Hiccup alone to only stare in awe at her as if he was struck by something.
"Way to go Hiccup!" Jack encouraged.
"She's a nice girl." Rapunzel commented.
Through the time Hiccup gave gifts to Merida get to know her more and more about her life what she had and about her family as well. Finally the day had come where the two would dance together at the ballroom, Hiccup hadn't dance in years and could only wish he could die now.
"Tonight is your chance Hiccup." Jack spoke to Hiccup.
"I-I can't do this." Hiccup stood in front of the mirror staring at himself as he nervously played with his hands.
"You have too Hiccup. There's no time for doubt. You got to be bold, daring."
"Yes, Bold and-... No I-I can't."
"You care for Merida?" Jack pointed to an invisible Merida.
"More than anything." Hiccup spoke.
"Than tell her." Jack smiled.
"There will be music. Romantic candlelight and when the time is right, you confess your love." Jack informed Hiccup.
"No, no I can't do this! She's not going to accept me." Hiccup doubted everything.
"What am I going to do with you?" Jack shook his head.
"Sorry to interrupt. But she's waiting for you." Eret informed the two.
Hiccup stood at his side of the stairs as Merida came walking in with her gown, she had her hair up and looked so beautiful. Hiccup looked over to his friend Jack who only encouraged him to walk forward to meet up with her.
After taking a deep breath, he walked forward smiling at Merida as she did as well. The two bowed at each other and went off to their dinner where they ate while music was playing. Merida finishing her plate stood from her chair running over to Hiccup where he was pulled at her to the ballroom.
Hiccup felt a lump in his throat since he's haven't dance since he was young. But Merida encouraged him to try. They took slow steady steps at first, finally Hiccup got down he dancing steps leading the dance this time. After the dance the two went to the balcony where Hiccup asked Merida if she was happy.
"Mer?" Hiccup called.
"Yes?" She answered.
"Are you happy here?" Hiccup asked.
"Oh yes I am. I'm very happy to stay here." She looked down with tears brimming her eyes.
"What wrong?"
"I miss my father and my brothers. Even if my brothers were trouble makers, I still miss them all. I wish I could see them again" Merida smiled.
Hiccup only looked down hopping and wishing he could make Mer happy with whatever he has. But, he remembered what he had in his room.
"Mer, come with me."
~Hiccup's room~
Merida followed Hiccup into his room where he quickly grabbed the magic mirror showing you what it was. He told her that it can show you anything you ask, in which she asked to see her family. What she saw next she didn't want to happen.
Dagur, with the whole town demanding that her father come out with her or else their break down the door. She told Hiccup she must stop them from harming her family, as he looked at the magical flower.
"G-go..."
"What?" Merida was stunned.
"Your free, you are no longer my prisoner." Hiccup looked away.
"Thank you. I will never forgot you." She smiled at him.
After their last goodbyes Merida left charging towards the village where she meet up with Dagur. He demanded her to marry him or they'll throw her father into the asylum. So proving her father is right she asked the magic mirror to show Hiccup.
Everyone was scared at what he looked like but Merida implied that he's very kind and gentle person. This didn't sit well with Dagur.
"I would say you had feelings for this monster." Dagur spat.
"No, he's not the monster ya are Dagur! Aye' you are." She glared at Dagur.
Dagur convince every person at the village that she including her father was crazy and get whoever was willing to fight go with him to kill the beast. Locking Merida in her house they were able to break in entry of the castle meeting up with a fight with the servants.
But they forgot Dagur who meet up with Hiccup in his room.
~Hiccup First POV~
Merida... I love you... and now your gone. All I want to do is to leave this world knowing you'll never come back. Let those invaders come inside. Nothing matters to me anymore. I heard the door open to my door thinking it was one of my servants but it wasn't. It was a hunter.
I turned away not even caring for the arrow aimed at me. The arrow hit my shoulder causing me to growl in pain. This hunter pushed me out of the window where we kicked me on the balcony.
"So your the Dragon? What's wrong buddy? Too kind and gentle to fight back? Hahaha! I feel kind of sorry you feel for Merida, though I don't blame you." The hunter mocked me.
"She is a beauty. Though I'm to say this, she sent me here to killed you. She despises you!"
"No!"
I can't believe what he's saying. No! It's all lies!
Dagur pulled his rifle out aiming it to my head about to pull the trigger until he yell out in pain from his hand. I look up seeing Merida with her bow looking at me.
"Merida!" I yelled.
She came back! That must mean she loves me! That means I have a reason to live on.
"Dagur! Get ya hands of him!" She threatened pulling another arrow onto her bow.
Dagur was distracted at the time so I took this opportunity to grab his neck holding up to the ledge. He screamed for mercy, begging in which my anger sub side realizing what he said what Merida did before. So I gave him a chance to leave.
I flew up to where Merida was at and smiled at her. I hugged her dearly.
"You came back!"
She smiled at me.
Bang!
I felt a large pain in my back as I fell to the floor feeling blood come out. I heard Dagur slip. Causing him to fall of the roof due to the rain. I couldn't hear his screams anymore. Mer laid me down as she tried to see if anything could save my life.
"Y-you came back." I smiled.
"Of course ya daft dragon. I couldn't-... This is all my fault!" She placed both of her hands on my face.
I could see the tears wanting to fall down her face.
"I-it might be better this way." I started to cough.
"Aye! Don't talk like that. I'm here-... W-were together now. It'll be fine." She smiled as the tears fell down her face.
I was trying hard to keep my eyes open just I was getting tired. I couldn't keep the opening anymore.
"I'm glad... I got to... See you... One last time..."
~Merida First POV~
No! No no no! Don't die on me Hiccup!
"No! No no no no! Please please." I couldn't help anymore I started to cry.
"I love you!"
I cried on top of Hiccup's chest as I felt something falling for the last time. I shook the thought away seeing my tears wouldn't stop. But then I felt his body lifting up. I quickly hopped of seeing his body being lifted into the air.
His furry cape covered his body as lights appeared around different parts reveling human hands and feet. After his face turned human, his body came back to the floor. I thought this was someone else as I stared at the body.
But he stood up staring at his hands and feet then turning around to see me. It was the same man from the painting I saw before in Hiccup's room. Could this be Hiccup?
"Mer... I-it's me." He smiles at me as he holds my hands.
I stare at him in awe and I touch his longer dark brown hair and look at his eyes seeing they were emerald green. That then I know it was Hiccup.
"Hiccup!" I smiled.
He brushed his hand onto my face getting the one strand in my face out of the way. I slowly close my eyes as his lips come closer to mine. We kiss. I felt a gush of wind blow around us as if something surrounded us, after pulling away I see my Hiccup's face smiling at him as I smile at him.
"Hiccup!"
We turned around seeing everyone, Jack, Rapunzel and everyone else as humans not as little objects around the castle. Hiccup run up to hug his friends and family that were dear to him, joyful of how they were human again. After the excitement, Hiccup invited everyone in my town to come inside of the castle as we both dance in the ballroom with everyone watching. Hiccup than knelled down onto one leg as he asked me to marry him in which I accepted. From that day on, our story has been old as time.
AN: So this is my version of Mericcup Beauty and the Beast, hope you enjoyed that little short. This is just an idea something I came up with at random maybe depending if many people are wanting one of Mericcup, though I've seen on on Fanfic and Wattpad there is no need to make one. But we'll see. :D
