The songbook Chapter 14: Because of you, a twilight fanfic

I'm sorry for the long wait for me to update, but things have been a little mad with college and sadly I can't just stop what I'm going to write as much as I wish I could do that. So here is the next chapter of the songbook. You may have to wait for the next update.

"I pick Because of you" I said as I put the book down.

I will not make the same mistakes that you did

"What mistakes?" Emmett asked

I will not let myself
Cause my heart so much misery

"That part sounds really sad" Alice said. Rose and Esme nodded their heads, in agreement.

I've learned the hard way
To never let it get that far

"Never let what get that far? If you mean sex or fucking, then you should let it go really far" Emmett said laughing, before Esme hit him over his head.

"Emmett if you swear once more, you will have to wash your mouth out with soap!" Esme shouted.

Emmett stopped laughing, when he relished that Esme wasn't joking.

"How are you afraid of?" Edward asked, not like the fact that she was afraid of someone.

Esme thought about the times when, her husband from her human years would get angry, when she would cry. Esme hoped that nothing like that had happed to Bella.

I'm forced to fake
A smile, a laugh everyday of my life

You should have known better than to lean on me

I frowned a little, thinking about the times when Renee would lean on me, when one of her many boyfriends would dump her.

And now I cry in the middle of the night
For the same damn thing

When I finished playing, no one spoke for a few minutes. I decide to break the silence.

"Well who wants to choose next?" I asked, holding my book up.

"I will" Edward said, taking the book from and flipping through it.
