Corruption Chapter 14 VF

Hunk decided that was the perfect time to leave. With a little girl distraction. He had noticed how close Tandy and Pidge were. He could see the chemistry between them. Hunk pulled out his volt com and tracked Pidge. He was in Green Lion's den. That was odd. Pidge could be doing a number of things there but nothing that Hunk could recall as being time sensitive. Hunk went to the control room and hailed. "Little Buddy."

"Go ahead Hunk."

"What are you up to?"

Pidge answered. "Diagnostics of the lion sensors in the dens. They were glitchy this morning."

"Your wife asked about you."

Pidge who was encrypting his new laptop within an inch of its life frowned and thought. 'Snart!' He answered. "Why?"

Hunk said. "She said that she knew you were working. Didn't doubt that but that she got a feeling and goosebumps."

Pidge groaned inwardly. He was screwed. He was already in the shuttle back to castle control. "Hold on. I'm coming back up." He put the laptop in the bottom of his large tool box and went into the elevator. The doors opened moments later. Hunk was standing there waiting. He shrugged. "Look I'm not trying to bust your chops Little Buddy. It's probably her hormones. Don't you think?"

Pidge shrugged. "Probably I'll talk to her tonight after our session with Blake. Thanks for the heads up." There was no need to alarm Hunk as well.

"No problem little buddy."

Pidge watched as he walked away. What he needed now was proof of what he found in the core. His parents were the last ones imprisoned because of the program along with his sister. According one of the intelligence reports they had been tipped off by another Doctor who had been killed three years ago. If they had been warned his father a very clever and canny individual would have hidden the data somewhere so that he or Chip would have had access to it. Not immediately after their 'deaths.' But in a place where they would look later. It would have to be portable. Could it be that simple? He knew that he and Chip had been willed their belongings. Chip being in space could not get any of the items. They had them shipped to Arus. They were currently being stored in Green Lion's den. He had to go look at them. But didn't want to go alone Tandy couldn't get to the lions right now. That left one option and in fairness he was the one that needed to see the items first.

Keith went up to his bedroom. What he found was absolutely adorable. Lila and Allura were both sound asleep on the bed. Lila was snuggled next to Allura with her hands resting on her mother's belly. Keith saw that she was in her nightgown. He went over and scooped her into his arms and carried her to bed. He returned moments later and saw that Allura had awakened when he moved her. "Hello."

Keith quickly undressed and joined his wife in the bed. She pulled him over to her and kissed him deeply. Keith moaned into her mouth it had been so long but he knew she needed to rest and went to pull away. But Allura wasn't ready yet. She deepened the kiss further skimming her tongue along his lips. They parted granting her access. After several minutes they broke apart breathing much harder than before. Keith rested his forehead onto hers. "I love you."

"I love you too." She kissed him again softly. "I've missed you."

"I missed you too." He rubbed her stomach. "Did you have a productive session with Tandy?"

"I did. We did. My blood pressure is much better. I want this baby out. I can't wait to meet him or her."

"When it's ready." Keith soothed. "You're so beautiful."

Allura kissed him. "Thank you." They lay down and fell asleep.

A few hours later Allura sat straight up a searing pain shooting straight through her. She reached for Keith's hand and squeezed it. "Keith…ugh." She felt a pop and then a tidal wave of water seemed to flow right out of her soaking them both. "Sorry!"

Keith with a voice of amazing calm soothed. "It's not a problem. Hold on."

Tandy was lying in bed reading when Pidge entered. She had been worried about him. She stood up and wrapped her arms around his neck. "Hey."

Pidge buried his face into her neck and his lips touched her skin making her shiver. He murmured. "Hey."

"What were you working on?"

"Stuff for the hearing of judgement."

"Really like what?"

Pidge didn't want to have this conversation with her right now. He needed to look over more of the data but couldn't risk turning on the 'new' laptop at the moment. He simply kissed her. "Tandy…do you trust me?"

"Of course I do."

Pidge pulled her into his arms. "Then let me do what I have to."

Tandy didn't say anything else. They dressed for bed. Pidge stepped behind her and kissed her neck. Tandy immediately responded to his touch. Pidge could feel her tremble. He'd never get used to it. The feel of her and the taste of her. How many moments like this did they have left. It wasn't certain. What mattered now was this moment and when they joined it was heaven. He whispered. "Amiazi."

They were in each other's arms and content to stay there. But then Tandy winced, reached behind, and rubbed her lower back.

Pidge an eyebrow. "Uncomfortable?"

"Yeah. I need to do a scan."

Pidge retrieved her scanner. "Here sweetie."

"Thanks." She ran it over her stomach and bit her lip. Then she met his eyes. "I'm in pre-labor."

Pidge knew it was getting close. He could sense it. Their daughter had moved into the ready position last week. He held Tandy tighter. "It's going to be alright."

Tandy kissed his lips several times. "I know. We need to call Blake, give Chip a heads up, and go to your office in the hanger."

Pidge nodded. "It had been in that office with Red and Green lions in the hanger that had allowed Pidge and Tandy to stay in the trance for the longest. They had not been able to duplicate it. So they transformed his office into a temporary birthing suite. When they went into the hanger they saw that Red and Green Lions were already in their repair bays. They both purred loudly. Tandy smiled at them. Then quite suddenly the doors opened and Yellow, Blue, and Black entered their bays as well. Tandy didn't know what to think except. Wow! Blake didn't answer his phone but when they went into his office they found him in the room lighting the incense and candles. Tandy rolled her eyes. "You knew."

"Yes I felt it." He looked at Pidge. "Both of you get comfortable."
