Ch 14 Trouble for Team 7 The Sound Ninja Attack

Kurama lay panting behind the cage next to an equally tired Naruto who lay on the cage. He helped Kurama push back the effects of the seal now they both tried to rest being extremely tired.

"Kurama-sensei h...how long till I w...wake up" Naruto asked panting

"I SAY TILL MORNING RIGHT NOW YOUR BODY IS HEALING IT SELF WITH MY CHAKRA" Kurama replied softly

"Alright...t..thank you for saving me Kurama is t...there anything I can do for you" Naruto said

Kurama continues to be stumped by this boys...niceness "TCH I AM STILL HOLDING YOU TO YOUR LITTLE DECLARATION BOY..." he replied "...BUT MAYBE...YOU COULD DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS DANK SEWER 13 YEARS IVE GROWN TIRED OF IT, I MEAN IT IS YOUR MINDSCAPE KIT"

"Hmmm" Naruto began thinking about places that foxes normally live "Ah I've got it" he concentrated hard and soon the sewer begin to dissolve and turn white. Soon inside the white nothingness large trees and flora off all kind begin to shoot up around Naruto and the Kyuubi. Kurama watched in awe as a clear blue sky began to form in the air and was cut off by the continuous growing trees. He could feel the grass growing beneath his paws. Finally stopping in a moment of silence the chirping of birds and sound of other animals could be heard. In size the Kyuubi remained his normal size while the forest was supersized to make it seem like he was a normal sized fox.

"So what do you think, I kinda borrowed inspiration from the forest of death and put a little spin on it." Naruto smiled cheekily

Kurama was speechless which again surprised Naruto greatly there was no longer a large iron gate separating them. Kurama quickly lunged a tail right at Naruto who just smirked when the tail stopped an inch in front of him.

Feeling a bit embarrassed Kurama had a wide foxy grin on his face "WELL HMM I WAS JUST...TESTING THE SEAL...THATS ALL"

Naruto began to laugh "I know I know...I knew you wouldn't be able to resist a small chance sensei and I'm not mad at you for it..." he stopped laughing but held a smile on his face "the seal still prevents you from killing me and this entire forest is the seal but now you don't have to be cramped up you can move freely."

"I'VE EVER ONLY SAID THIS TO ONE OTHER A LONG TIME AGO...BUT THANK YOU...I DO NOT KNOW WHY YOU ARE SO...NICE TO ME BOY BUT IT IS...APPRECIATED"

Naruto gave a genuine smile at the response and walked over to Kurama who eyed him and was shocked when the boy sat down next to Kurama and fell asleep lying on the large foxes furry side.

'SO STRANGE THIS BOY IS HE MAKES ME...FEEL THINGS I HAVENT FELT IN A LONG TIME' the much feared demon fox thought to his self then he did something that shocked even himself. He took two tail and laid them atop Naruto's sleeping body to keep him warm as he laid his head down to rest as well.

With Hinata

After Takeru place a genjutsu around the uprooted tree they where hiding under, Hinata explained everything that happened to Squad 7. Takeru did not like this at all who knows what would have happened if he hadn't shown up.

"Hinata-san you need to rest go ahead and get some sleep I will keep watch for the night" he said lightning a small fire to keep them warm

"Are you sure Takeru-san" the hyuga princess asked softly

"Sure it no problem, beside you're going to need your strength for when Sasuke and Naruto-kun wake up in the morning" he smiled genuinely at her.

Hinata visibly relaxed as she sat her weapons against the tree and laid down beside Naruto. Looking at his face she saw a small smile upon his lips. Feeling bold (again something she has slowly began to inherit from her time spent training with Anko) she latched on to Naruto's right arm and snuggled up to his steadily breathing body...she was sleep instantly.

Takeru looked back saw this and couldn't help but smile, wishing he had a camera to take a picture but alas. He turned to the front of the tree opening and sat indian style placing his sword next to him he was suddenly really greatful for all the survival techniques and camping trips he and Naruto took with their grandfather. Using a technique he was taught he began to meditate.

'Kokoro no Jutsu'. The point of this technique was while the body was still and resting it radiated chakra to keep genjutsu steady, this also brings the mind and the senses to a point of complete awareness so at a moments notice he is ready to attack.

The next Morning

Hinata felt something move against her body. She groggily opened her eyes to see Naruto looking down at her.

"Wake up Hinata-chan" he said sweetly "Did you take care of us this whole time and..." he was cut after letting her mind process the information she quickly hugged Naruto around his neck.

"Oh Naruto-kun I'm so happy you're awake I was so scared for you"

"Shhh hey its ok Hinata-chan I'll always be here for you...because I...I love you Hinata"

She was stunned to say the least she was speechless.

"I think you broke her dobe"

"Sasuke you're awake" Naruto asked

Soon Hinata found herself watching Naruto and Sasuke talk not hearing anything because of her shock, soon Takeru joined to conversation. 'He told me...he loves me...he...loves me...' her thoughts were cut off at what she saw in the distance...it was a half burnt Orochimaru.

"Now you will see what its like to be prey, panicking and frantically running away from a predator and that predator is me" the snake master charged at the unaware teenagers talking. Hinata tried to warn them but found her self unable to speak.

'My voice is gone...all of our voices are gone oh no' she thought as Orochimaru transformed into a large snake and opening its mouth wide ready to eat all three boys.

Quickly jolting out of her sleep Hinata attempted to scream but her mouth was quickly covered by Takeru's hand. Rubbing her back to calm her down he brought up a finger to silence her. Assuring that she was calm he moved his hand from her mouth, unbeknownst the them the small bit of scream that got out was caught by certain group of shinobi.

Whispering lowly Takeru ask concerned "Hinata-san are you alright what happened?"

"It was a...very bad dream" she said very softly 'of course it was only dream...he could never love me...' she thought as a single tear fell from her face which she quickly wiped away looking around she notice the two boys still sleeping and that it was morning.

"Alright looks like the coast is clear we'll wait for a few more hours for them to wake up them we can make our move." he said still whispering "I just hope nothing goes wron..."

"You can stop whispering we know you're there drop the cheap Genjutsu and come out"

'Me and my big mouth' Takeru thought as he took a look at Hinata who was already grabbing her weapons. He nods to her and she nods back.

Outside the Jutsu

The 3 Ninja from the Sound Village Dosu, Zaku and Kin were standing looking around for the source of the sounds their enhanced ears picked up.

Suddenly Zaku noticed the shimmering after effect of a Genjutsu fading away only to be followed by...

"Katon: Gokakyu no Jutsu"

They all narrowly dodged the decent sized fireball. As the genjutsu finally faded they acted like the attack didnt phase them.

"Impressive for a brat now wake Sasuke up we want to fight him" Dosu the mummy looking guys called out

"Sorry but that's not going to happen from I've been told the one called Orochimaru is calling the shots, since you are of the Sound Village you are his subordinates." Takeru called out bravely pulling out his Sword "Now tell us what the hell is that black mark on Sasuke's neck, TALK"

Dosu was shocked "What in the world could he be thinking"

"I can't stay quiet after hearing you talk to us like that first I'm going to kill you, then the girl and those two other losers" Zaku spoke with a cocky attitude

'Oh you did not just threaten my little brother' Takeru thought as he growled clutching his swords hilt.

Hinata had a deadly scowl on her on face some one just threatened her teammates. 'Its my turn to protect them' she thought as she drew her bow back.

"It looks like I have no choice, Zaku you can take Sasuke I'll take care of these two" Dosu said tossing the scroll to his teammate stepped up to face Takeru.

Takeru took a kenjutsu stance and looked back at Hinata and they both nodded.

"Now!"

Hinata fired a single arrow and Dosu just jumped up and over it, before it exploded the after shock knocked the sound ninja of balance. Takeru took advantage of this and disappeared and reappeared in front of Dosu.

"Damn he's fast" Dosu said

Takeru sent a heel kick to Dosu's gut knocking him down the ground fast and hard.

"Damn it Dosu there's no way he can break his fall" Zaku said as he pressed his hands to the ground and prepared a jutsu only for Hinata to fire and Arrow blocking his jutsu.

"You little bitch I'm going to kill you for that" Zaku call out as he dashed towards Hinata

Dosu barely caught himself as he rebounded and quickly backed away dodging Takeru's downward sword strike. Takeru stabbing the ground as he missed Dosu, he rebounded and used the hilt of his sword to push forward kicking Zaku back where his was a moment ago.

"You're pretty good punk but now its time to end this." Dosu said panting he dashed toward Takeru, while the onyx haired boy did the same.

Takeru brought up his sword ready to slice his opponent in two. Once they were in striking range Takeru brought he sword down and just as it was about to hit Dosu, he quickly brought the metal apparatus up to block the slash.

'Damn it' Takeru thought

There was a resounding clang as both metals met in a clash, however this is just what Dosu wanted the smirk on his and his teammates faces was evidence enough.

Breaking the clash both ninja backed away from each other, there was an intense silence between the two groups of ninja. Suddenly Takeru's vision began to get blurry and disoriented, his body began to wobble slightly.

"Oh no Takeru-san" Hinata called out her bow at the ready she still stood in front of the tree roots between the Sound ninja and her teammates. No one noticing the faint dark purple chakra slightly flowing from Sasuke's body or the faint light reddish/orange chakra flowing from Naruto's body.

"You may be fast but our jutsu is faster because it travels at the speed of sound" Dosu told Takeru as the boy dropped to his knee struggling to hold on "Now watch were going to show you something called the wall"

Suddenly something snapped in Takeru as he threw up and was beginning to shake. Blood slow dripped out of his left ear.

'Arghhh my ear' he thinks to himself as he places one hand over his ear, the other still barely holding on to his sword.

"Oh I forgot to mention about the little gadget on my arm, by hitting it with your blade you fell right into my trap" Dosu taunted as he explained his jutsu in detail.

Dosu went to attack Hinata but was surprised that Takeru could still move. Going in for a punch Takeru blocks it only for Dosu to channel the vibrations into sound waves and redirect them into Takeru's already busted ear. His body couldn't take anymore and he passed out.

"Takeru-san!" Hinata cried out 'Oh no I'm...I'm all alone' she thought as she saw Dosu about to deal a final blow to Takeru she quickly fired her last arrow only for Dosu to block it with his Arm Sound thingy...(don't judge me damn it)...shattering the arrow into pieces.

"Ahhh Id almost forgotten you" Dosu said in a creepy tone turning his attention back to Hinata

Elsewhere

"Oh man we're never gonna find anybody weaker than us" Ino whined as she slumped her shoulders.

Shikamaru grunted "Well we could always hunt down you're little boyfriend, Takeru I mean the guy's is all alone out here and it would be three against on..."

Hearing knuckles cracking the pineapple headed boy looked up to see Ino leaking killer intent towards him "Go ahead finish that sentence...I dare you Shika...maru"

Shikamaru put his hands up in a defensive manner. "Alright Alright I take it back I'm sorry" 'Geez so troublesome'

"Good cause Takeru is awesome and can't be beaten" Ino boasted proudly

Up in the trees Choji the third member of Team 10 was acting a look out.

'You know for a smart guy you'd think Shikamaru would think to not say bad things about Takeru in front of Ino and...' he was stopped in his thoughts when he spotted a battle going on, looking closely he gulped 'Oh this is not good'

"Hey guys Takeru's collapsed, looks like Naruto and Sasuke are down as well Hinata is fighting...all alone" Choji reported to his comrades.

Ino was fast beside him on the tree limb looking out and what she saw broke her heart. Takeru, Naruto and Sasuke on the ground, and Hinata standing alone to fight three against one.

"Looks like Takeru, Naruto and Sasuke are down for the count so what do you wanna do" Shikamaru asked pretty much already knowing the answer.

"We're going" she said in a dangerous voice

With Hinata

'I cant use taijutsu unless I gain the right opening, and I have no more Arrows left...I will just have to try...' she thought she drops her bow. As it makes it descent she slowly reaches into her shuriken pouch. Once the bow touches the ground she attacks.

"HA" she yells throwing multiple shuriken aimed at Dosu but Zaku quickly jumped in the way blowing them back at her, her jacket protecting her from the sharp objects. She was blown back a bit but landed against something. Having no time to look up she was caught by the female of the group Kin. She held Hinata by the hood of her jacket tugging on it slightly choking the Hyuga princess a bit.

"You know where in the middle of Summer why the hell do you have to huge ugly jacket on, got something to hide do we, well if you spent more time training and less time worried about what people think of you , you might not be in this fix." Kin mocked the young girl then she leaned down to whisper in her ear "Which one should I have Zaku kill first, the kid with sword"

Hinata let out a small gasp whispering "No p...please stop..."

"No hmm...how about our main target Sasuke hmmm what do you think huh girly"

Getting slightly louder "You...wont...take...S...Sasuke"

"Hmmm yes we will but I'm not hearing any conviction how about I have Zaku kill the blonde haired kid"

"LEAVE NARUTO-KUN ALONE" Hinata yelled walking right into Kin's trap

Kin smiled devilishly "We have a winner Zaku save Sasuke for last, and now let's make Ms. beauty queen over here what you kill the blonde kid...I think she has the hots for him or wants the D or something."

Zaku huffed "Kin you are one sick sadistic bitch glad you're on our side" he said as he began to walk up to the area where the boys were at.

'No...Ive failed...father was right I am a failure, I couldn't even save my own teammates' Hinata began to cry tears falling from her eyes to her jacket 'Neji nee-san was right I am weak in the end I was too weak to save the only man I've ever loved...yes I love him, he's always been there for me since we formed this team. He's had my back, saved me multiple times, been extremely loyal and kind to me, always gave me encouraging words when no one else would. His aura of pure determination had been wrapping around me this whole time giving me courage and hope that's why I fell madly in love with him...Naruto-kun...Im so sorry but I've failed you.

A cliffhanger...Aint I a stinker lol dont worry there will literally be another Chapter today as I'll be at work for 12 hours so enjoy lol
