I do not own Kuroko no Basuke, only the OC. I'm so sorry that this is so late, but with college and all the stress that came with it, everything kinda fell apart? It's been a while since I've written anything for this fandom and I have no idea if anyone is still reading this, but if you are, thank you for reading it!

So many people followed and favorited this story while I was dealing with school, so I can't thank everyone this time, but YOUR SUPPORT IS APPRECIATED! I am excited to finally post this chapter! I hope that you enjoy!

Dear Mayuzumi-sama,

Okay, this is going to sound scarier than I think it is, but I think someone may be watching my movements?

It's honestly freaking me out. What do I do?

I don't want to end up like those dumb horror movie heroines that miraculously survive the terror through sheer stupidity!

I really need some good advice here 'cause I don't know what I should do besides calling the police, getting some protection from friends, or, gods forbid, using my stationary to defend myself in the most dire situation. I know that something like this sounds like paranoia, but this shit is super freaky and I don't like it!

From,

Sake

Dear Sake,

First of all, never go by yourself. Get all the help that you can get, especially from your friends. Contact the authorities the second things get dodgy. Never go anywhere without charging your phone. Buy pepper spray.

For the love of all things good, forget about maintaining your stationary. Use it to stab someone if it gets that intense.

From,

Mayuzumi

P.S. Stay vigilant, idiot.

Dear Mayuzumi-sama,

That advice sure as hell came in handy today!

Thank the gods that there's a thing called convenient timing because I am 75% sure that I would've ended up walking away with more than a bruise.

From,

Sake

P.S. I am vigilant! I just don't focus on boring things. Like math, homework, school... Okay, I'll stop now 'cause this is starting to show all my academic faults.

Dear Sake,

...What happened that warranted a bruise?

From,

Mayuzumi

Dear Mayuzumi-sama,

...That single sentence is the single most scariest thing I've ever seen out of you.

Okay, it hurts to write because my wrist is the thing that got bruised, but I'll do my best to entertain you with this tale of thrills and chills.

When I was waiting for Midorima and Sunshine to finish up their practice, I told Momoi that I'd be going to the bathroom, and that if I wasn't back in ten minutes, she would go looking for me. (I already told her about the situation and I actually told Sunshine & Midorima for safety's sake because it was getting kinda bad for my paranoia at that point.) After doing what I needed to do, I walked my way back to the gym.

Someone was already standing at the doors.

I was immediately on the defensive because this guy was the same asshole who kept making fun of Sunshine.

For the sake of clarity and for your own safety if you ever meet him, his name is Haizaki.

From what I've heard from the other members and rumors, this guy wasn't supposed to be there anymore since he kept getting into fights, causing more than enough trouble. Added to the recipe for disaster, he was notorious for being an asshole in general, so this was double shady business. The fact that Haizaki was standing outside the door and seemed to be looking for something (someONE, I should say) already made me whip out my phone and text Momoi to get help because this dude was starting to give me bad vibes.

That's when I heard something.

Laughter. The kind that you only hear in cheesy horror movies before something bad happens.

In that moment, I knew that I was going to have to pull off some miraculous type of miracle bullshit to escape this guy because he fucking noticed me and came towards me.

"Shit, this is where I die," would've been my last words to think about before Haizaki stood in front of me.

With the cockiest smirk to ever have been smirked, he stared down at me because everyone in the basketball club happened to be taller than me. Those giants- I had a feeling that he knew I was uncomfortable because he didn't say anything, but kept looking down at me. When I started to move away from the creep, he asked me where I was going. I didn't say anything and just ignored him.

Bad call.

He grabbed my wrist and yanked me back, asking me again where I was going and a bunch of other things.

His hand engulfed my entire wrist in a grip so hard that I still wince thinking about it. At that point, I was about to kick his ass into next Tuesday because this was the asshole who'd been making me so paranoid for the past few weeks. Haizaki may have had quite the infamous reputation about being able to fight people, but I wasn't going to let him do shit to me.

My other hand was retreating into my pocket for the pepper spray that I bought recently, ready to spray him so hard that people would think he got a cheap spray tan.

And I did. I ran for my freaking life.

Momoi was talking to the captain and the vice captain, doing her manager business when I came screaming at the top of my lungs like I was about to get murdered. Practically throwing myself behind her, I screamed things that didn't make much sense, besides the obvious curse words that I was saying. It wasn't until I was seated down on the bleachers that I explained what happened to me.

Midorima, bless his brussel sprout heart, had a medical kit, saying that it was his lucky item because his horoscope said that, "When an ally is in danger, open up and share the goodness" or something like that.

Bara-kun gave me candy. Let me repeat that. BARA-KUN. GAVE. ME. CANDY. (What is this wizardry?)

Momoi was all over the place, looking sad, angry, and overall scary because I've never seen her like this. I think she hated the fact that she knew I was being watched, but didn't come with me to the bathroom.

The vice captain, Akashi, I think I've told you his name before, was and still is handling the problem with more grace than I ever would. He was super nice about the situation, which was really cool of him.

Out of all of them, the one that was taking the situation the hardest was Sunshine. He wasn't crying. He wasn't freaking out about it. No, he was pissed off. As in, pissed off in such a way that he was seething with anger.

After all that drama, I was taken home with Sunshine and Midorima because we still had to study, regardless of what happened.

Of course, it was hella awkward on the walk there, so I decided to forgo the studying session for once and play basketball. Midorima was immediately against it because they had already practiced that day, but I managed to get him to agree with the help of Sunshine. I just watched from the sidelines because y'know, my wrist and all that. It was still fun to watch them play.

From,

Sake

P.S. I am now going to rest my wrist because that took longer than I thought it would.

Dear Sake,

I'm noticing a reoccurring theme with you and bathrooms.

You went overboard with the storytelling again.

At least, this is being dealt with. What did that Haizaki guy want from you in the first place?

From,

Mayuzumi

Dear Mayuzumi-sama,

Ah, well.

I've become somewhat famous/infamous for being one of the few girls that Sunshine talks to on a regular basis, so I guess people just spread rumors until it came to the point that it did.

From,

Sake

Dear Sake,

To an outsider who doesn't know about your friendship, it would look like the two of you are dating, but school's more of a priority for you.

Not to mention, you have the same friend groups, so it makes sense if you know one another in a friendly way.

Also, Sunshine seems to be rather protective to his friends from what I remember in your letters and his faux letters, for that matter.

Just stay safe from now on.

From,

Mayuzumi

Dear Mayuzumi-sama,

I personally don't know if I'm his friend because he seems to treat everyone the same way.

Well, I'm just glad that this entire thing is over.

Aw, you do care!

"Sakamuracchi, who are you writing to?"

The ravenette immediately covered the paper with her math textbook. "No one."

"Oh, is it ...Mayuzumi-sama?" Sunshine's eyebrows wiggled.

Thank God, that it was lunch break. The girl wondered how anyone in their right mind would think they were more than friends. Friends? Study buddies? Students that are struggling with lessons and band together whenever their green-haired tutor decides to be merciless and murder them with schoolwork?

"I swear to God, Sunshine, I will slap you if you say that outloud." Akira scrunched her nose at the blond. "Why do you want to know?"

"Oh, just curious. You're always writing to this person, but whenever someone asks, you get flustered about it."

"That's because I'm writing things that only other person can read about. I'm pretty sure that if I asked you something personal, you'd get defensive." She let her slightly bruised wrist rest on the cover of the textbook. The bruise itself was ghastly to look at, but it would fade with time. "I mean, you still won't tell me the reason why you got so angry with the incident."

For a moment, the blond went quiet. "Sakamuracchi, you didn't think I wouldn't react to him hurting you?"

"I knew you would react, but I never thought that you would react so badly that you would storm out of the gym to hunt him down." The girl whispered, despite that there was no one there. Still, Kise was looking at the doors of the classroom, steadily and easily. He was avoiding her, but they really had to talk about it. "I mean, Kuroko stopped you before you could get out, but really, why did you act that way?"

Silence.

"If he wants to hurt me, then he can go ahead and do it." Kise's eyes finally looked back at her, alight with that same anger that she saw that day. She couldn't help, but shudder. "If he hurts my friends, there will be no mercy, especially when it comes to you because you had nothing to do with what happened between me and him. You, out of all the people, shouldn't have gotten hurt. That's why I got so angry."

"...That's a very protective statement on your part." Akira mumbled out, trying to process their situation. Honestly, this entire conversation suddenly turned out more serious than it should've. She really needed to think before speaking next time. "Honestly, Haizaki targeting me because of that reason is just ridiculous. Get fact-checked next time."

"So, you're Ryouta's new girlfriend? Heh, cute."

She shuddered at the memory. "What a creep."

"Hm." Although silence fell between the two of them, this silence was calming. "Sakamuracchi, am I really annoying to you?"

"...Not all the time. It's ...nice."

"Aw, you really do care!"

"Kise, let go of me. You're suffocating me by hugs. Agggghhh-"

Dear Mayuzumi-sama,

I personally don't know if I'm his friend because he seems to treat everyone the same way.

Well, I'm just glad that this entire thing is over.

Aw, you do care!

Before I forget, thank you for giving me that advice from before. It really helped in the long run. Also, good luck to your studies and basketball practice!

Sake

And that's the chapter!
