Five days had passed since Phantom Knight and Zolda's battle on the cruise ship and nothing of significance had happened. Danny got on his motorcycle and wandered around town, waiting for the chiming sound in his head to alert him of a monster's presence. It took a few hours, but he heard it outside a few warehouses on the outskirts of town. He called Valerie to tell her of his find and waited for her.
Some time later, Valerie arrived. The two of them suited up and crossed over to Mirror World. They found a Gelnewt standing around. Zolda opened fire with her blaster and while Phantom Knight charged. The red monster was damaged from Zolda's shots and turned to run away rather than be on the losing end of a two-on-one battle. Zolda and Phantom Knight gave chase while Zolda fired off more shots, but only a few hit and they weren't enough to break the red creatures momentum.
While this was going on, Vlad Masters was in his office overlooking his surveillance feed of Mirror World and found Zolda and Phantom Knight. He immediately called Ember, Spectra and Skulked to tell them of the Phantom Knight and Zolda's location.
Back with the black and green riders, they spent three minutes chasing down the lone gelnewt before Zolda had injured it enough with blaster shots to make it stumble. Phantom Knight caught up to the Gelnewt and tackled it to the ground. He decided to go for the quick and dirty kill and began bashing its head into the ground.
While Phantom Knight was busy with that, four more Gelnewts had arrived to back up the original one: two to Phantom Knight's right and two to Phantom Knight's left. Zolda slid back the top of her blaster the reveal its card slot and put a card in.
Shoot Vent
Zolda's bazooka came out of the sky and she caught it. She fired at the group to the right. The shell hit, vaporizing the two in an impressive explosion. The other two Gelnewts went after Phantom Knight and knocked them off his target, which had stopped moving. One Gelnewt tried to stomp on the downed ghostly rider but Phantom rolled out of the way.
While this was going on, Axe, Ouja and Incisor had arrived in the vicinity on their mirror shooters.
"We should see how this plays out," Axe advised. "If we're lucky, they'll use up their arsenal on these small fries and be easy pickings for us."
"I like the sound of that," Incisor said.
Kamen Rider Phantom Knight got back on his feet while Zolda pointed her bazooka at the two Gelnewts between them and fired. The red creatures were vaporized in an explosion while Phantom Knight was blown away from the shockwave.
"I'm going in," Incisor said as she drove towards Phantom Knight on her mirror shooter.
"Hey, I'm on your side," Phantom Knight said to Zolda as he got back on his feet again.
Strike Vent
"Oh that can't be good," Phantom Knight said as he turned to where the mechanical voice announced the presence of another rider and saw a mirror shooter coming towards him with an outstretched right arm with what looked like a giant, orange crab claw on the end. Phantom Knight was unable to avoid the attack in time and got hit, which made sparks come from his armor.
Kamen Rider Ouja got out of her mirror shooter and took a card from her deck. She raised a slot on the cobra head on the right side of her belt, placed the card in the slot and lowered it.
Steal Vent
Zolda was aiming her bazooka at Incisor's mirror shooter when it suddenly disappeared out of her hands and reappeared in Ouja's hands. The snake rider fired the bazooka but was unprepared for the massive gun's recoil, missed Zolda and was pushed back onto her ass.
Kamen Rider Axe had gotten out of his mirror shooter as well, took a card from his deck and placed it in the slot on his axe.
Strike Vent
Axe's clawed gauntlets came from above and equipped themselves over his forearms as he charged Zolda while she took a card from her deck and placed it inside her blaster.
Launch Vent
Zolda's cannons came from above and landed on her shoulders and fired them. Axe tried to block with his gauntlets, but the impact destroyed them and sent him flying back a couple feet.
Sword Vent
Zolda turned to see where that announcement came from and saw that Ouja was right in front of her wielding a sword that looked like a long, yellow snake's fang. The snake rider struck the cannon on Zolda's left shoulder and then moved to Zolda's right side before striking the cannon on that shoulder.
Back with Phantom Knight, he saw Incisor turn her mirror shooter around and begin another charge. He took a card from his deck and placed in his reader.
Strike Vent
A sphere of green energy appeared in Phantom Knight's hand. He held out his hand and sent a beam of green energy at Incisor's mirror shooter. The beam hit the enemy rider's vehicle, causing it to stop in its tracks and emit massive amounts of sparks.
"Son of a bitch," Incisor cursed as she got out of her disabled vehicle, immensely angry that Phantom Knight had found a way to counter her plan to beat him through vehicular assault.
"Whoever you are," Phantom Knight began, "we don't have to do this."
"Actually, we do," Incisor said as she began to charge towards him.
"Damn it," Phantom Knight in disappointment that diplomacy wasn't going to go anywhere as he took another card from his deck and placed it in his reader.
Sword Vent
Phantom Knight caught his sword as it came from the sky. He tried to slash Incisor but the crustacean-themed rider caught the blade with her weapon, held it in place with the two pincers of her crab claw and then slashed Phantom Knight with the curved blades on her left arm. The ghostly rider slid his sword free from Incisor's claw and slashed her before getting hit by her crab claw.
"Stop struggling and this will be easier for both of us," Incisor angrily said.
Meanwhile, Kamen Rider Axe got back on his feet and watched Zolda and Ouja fight each other. He took a card from his deck and placed it in the slot on his axe.
Final Vent
Destwilder appeared out of the ground a couple feet from the battling riders while Axe received another pair of clawed gauntlets. Destwilder hit Zolda and began dragging her on the ground towards its rider. Zolda took her blaster and shot Destwilder in the face twice causing the tiger creature to let go of her.
"I hate it when that happens," Axe said in a low, almost growling voice. He charged towards Zolda with his claws ready to strike. The gun-wielding rider shot at Axe three times while she got up but Axe blocked with one of his gauntlets. Zolda took a card and placed in her blaster's slot.
Guard Vent
A green, squarish shield came from above and landed in Zolda's right hand after she tossed her blaster to her left. She blocked one of Axe's claw strikes with her shield and then quickly placed her blaster up against his chest and fired three times. While he was dazed Zolda bashed him with her shield, which made him fall on his ass. She was planning to shot Axe a few more times but was struck from behind by Ouja.
Phantom Knight and Incisor were still fighting when the ghostly rider looked past his opponent and saw his ally being double-teamed by the tiger and snake themed riders. That's when he came up with an idea to get past Incisor and come to his ally's aid. He took a card from his deck and placed it in his reader.
Clear Vent
Phantom Knight turned invisible and ran past the crab rider who was on guard for a surprise attack didn't expect Phantom to go help his ally. Phantom Knight slashed Ouja and then quickly slashed Axe twice before his invisibility wore off.
Kamen Rider Zolda took advantage of Phantom Knight's distraction and ran to put some distance between her and enemies so she could shoot them from a safe distance. Unfortunately, Ouja saw her run off and followed suit. Zolda turned around and fired a few energy pellets at the snake rider but Ouja blocked those with her sword. Ouja swung her sword but Zolda dodged and countered by shooting Ouja in the chest. Ouja didn't let that deter her and slashed Zolda.
Meanwhile, Axe slashed Phantom Knight with one of his claws. He then went for another strike with his right claw but Phantom Knight dodged to his right side and slashed at his stomach. Phantom Knight tried to follow through with another slash but Axe blocked with his left gauntlet and struck the ghostly rider with his right one.
Kamen Rider Incisor was still expecting a surprise attack from Phantom Knight that had yet to come when she looked around her surroundings and saw Phantom Knight battling Axe. "What the hell is he doing over there?" Incisor wondered out loud. She decided this didn't matter and went to join that fight. She ran up to the two male riders, jumped into the air and cried out while readying to strike with her crab claw.
Phantom Knight heard Incisor's battle cry and knew an attack from behind was coming, so he dived to the side and caused Incisor to accidently strike Axe. This attack from his current ally caused the tiger rider to metaphorically see red, especially since it happened before he could take advantage of his temporary alliance with her and Ouja to stab them in the back. Axe struck Incisor with one of his claws. This made the crab-themed rider forget about fighting Phantom Knight and began battling Kamen Rider Axe.
Ouja and Zolda were still fighting and although Zolda had gotten in a few close range shots the snake rider wasn't relenting one bit. If Zolda knew that Kamen Rider Ouja was really Penelope Spectra then she would understand that Ouja's resilience was the result of her being too psychotic to normally process pain. Zolda was close to running on fumes and knew she needed to do something to stop Ouja quickly. So Zolda took a card from her deck and placed it in her blaster's slot.
Advent
Some ways away from Ouja and Zolda, Magnugiga appeared out of the ground. The robot-like monster raised its left arm and unleashed seven quickly fired green energy pellets that hit Ouja's back. Zolda followed through on her partner's attack by tossing Ouja to the ground and quickly running over to behind Magnugiga. She took a card from her deck and placed it in her blaster's slot.
Final Vent
She placed her blaster in a receptacle in her partner's back and began charging her finishing move. Unfortunately for her, Ouja had no intention of waiting to be hit by the Final Vent. She got on her feet, took a card from her deck and placed it in the reader on her belt buckle.
Final Vent
Kamen Rider Ouja's contract monster, a purple and silver cobra named Venosnaker that was roughly 15 feet long, slithered to right behind Ouja. The snake rider jumped into the air and did one quarter of a backflip. When she was right in front of Venosnaker's mouth, the giant cobra monster released a spray of venom that covered its master's feet and propelled her forward while Ouja was doing a series of bicycle kicks. Ouja collided with Magnugiga and kicked him out of her way before moving on to Zolda and kicking her several times.
Zolda flew back over ten feet from being hit by Ouja's Final Vent. When she slid to a stop, her advent deck exploded and her armor vanished. Valerie Grey lay on the ground, too injured to move and beginning to disintegrate from exposure to Mirror World.
There's nothing quite as satisfying as ridding the world of a cop, Penelope Spectra thought as she savored her latest kill.
Phantom Knight had gotten away from incisor and Axe and was making his way to help Zolda when he saw Ouja's Final Vent hit the gun-slinging rider. He stopped in his tracks as the gravity of the situation sank in. He briefly thought that if he hurried he could get Valerie back to the real world but there weren't any mirrors nearby. Even if there were, it was extremely likely that Ouja would interfere with any rescue attempt.
Phantom Knight saw Valerie disappear into nothingness and felt a great rage overcome him. He yelled and charged the murderous purple rider. Ouja heard his cry saw him coming but decided fighting the ghostly rider was beneath her. She took a card from her deck and put in the reader on her hip.
Advent
Venosnaker went to fight Phantom Knight, who was too enraged over the loss of another ally to care about the prospect of fighting such an intimidating creature. He struck the cobra with his sword but Venosnaker was unfazed and countered by turning around and slapping Phantom Knight away with its tail, sending him flying away a few feet and laying on the ground. Venosnaker slithered forward a bit and fired a spray of venom at his downed adversary but Phantom Knight saw the attack coming and rolled out of the way. He looked at where the venom spray landed and saw that it was melting the ground, meaning its venom was highly acidic. Phantom Knight knew he needed help and put a card in his reader to call upon his own partner.
Advent
Phantomas appeared next to Venosnaker and tackled the cobra in the head, causing it to miss a spray of acidic venom it intended for Phantom Knight. Venosnaker went to bite Phantomas but the ghost vanished, making Venosnaker bite air. Phantomas appeared behind Venosnaker and shot a thin beam of green energy at the cobra. Venosnaker turned around to attack the ghost but Phantomas vanished again. Phantom Knight got up and joined his partner in fighting the cobra.
Incisor and Axe were fighting each other while this was going on. Incisor took a card from her deck, made the two curved blades on her left arm come closer which created an opening on her forearm and put the card in before closing the gap.
Advent
Incisor's contract monster popped out of the ground behind Axe. It was an orange humanoid creature with a broad chest that its face was a part of. It had a pair of antennae on the top of its face and crab claws at the ends of its arms. The creature came up behind Axe and grabbed the tiger rider's arms with its claws, pinning the rider and destroying his gauntlets.
"Awesome job, Volcancer," Incisor praised her partner. "Now to finish you off, you crazy dick," Incisor said as she went in for the kill. Axe defended himself by kicking Incisor hard enough to make her fall to the ground. Axe then lurched his chest forward and brought it back to hit Volcancer. The impact caused the crab creature to release its grip.
Axe knew that with all the hits he'd taken, it would be unwise to continue this fight. He briefly considered talking his way out of this but he considered unlikely to work as well as really boring. So he turned around and made his way to the mirror shooter he came in on.
"Not so fast, asshole," Incisor said as she took a card and placed it in the opening on her arm.
Final Vent
Volcaner turned to face Axe while Incisor got back on her feet. Axe heard that Incisor was about to use her ultimate attack and had a plan to counter it. He took a card and placed it in the slot on his ax.
Freeze Vent
Volcaner was frozen solid while its rider jumped over it and landed in front of it. "That wasn't supposed to happen," Incisor said in confusion. She looked at Volcancer and saw its frozen state. "Oh son of a damn it," she exclaimed in disappointment that her Final Vent had been prevented.
She took a look around the battlefield and saw Phantom Knight and his partner fight Venosnaker. "Let's see," Incisor began, "he has the stones to take on that giant, acid spewing snake thing while the only card I've got left is my Guard Vent. Yeah, I'm done here." Incisor went over to the mirror shooter Ouja originally used and made her exit.
Kamen Rider Phantom Knight and his partner continued to fight Venosnaker. The snake creature was more focused on Phantomas and attempted to bite the ghost but it kept teleporting away. After a while, Venosnaker decided to give up on fighting the ghost and brought his attention to the rider who'd been slashing him for over a minute.
The giant snake went to devour the ghostly rider but Phantom Knight thrust his sword upward and struck the roof of Venosnaker's mouth. The snake creature thrashed in pain slapped Phantom Knight away with his tail. Venosnaker then slithered away from battle.
Phantom Knight got back on his feet, took a look around his surroundings and noticed that he was alone. With the current danger over with, Phantom Knight took in the pain of losing another ally. He dropped to his knees in despair and began pounding the ground while crying. Phantomas went over to its rider and nuzzled him comfortingly but it didn't work. They stayed like that for what felt like hours.
