Chapter 14: Things That Happen for a Reason…
"It hurts the worst when the person that made you feel so special yesterday, makes you feel so unwanted today." – Unknown…
Flashback to Olivia and Stacey in her room….
"Love you too," the words Fitz utters to Melanie ring in her ears like a sick, dying animal she must "attempt" to save. The problem is Olivia is the animal on the side of the road, or operating table fighting for her life. Before she literally comes apart next to the room Fitz and Melanie are inside, she drops Rogue's leash and runs as if her life depended on it.
Rogue takes off bursting inside the room alarming Fitz. "Oh No," she hears then "FUCK," Fitz bellows when she's half way down the hall. She senses his presence just as she "books it" around the corner. She barely registers Stacey trailing after her.
Just as her door closes a hand stops it. "Go away," she begs fearing it's Fitz.
"Yo Miss Doc," Stacey utters calling her the special nickname only shared between them.
"Please leave me alone," Olivia sniffles at the door.
"No I don't think so," Stacey pleads.
"I can't see anyone right now," Olivia explains.
"Well you best bet let me in. The President is right behind me." With those words Olivia opens the words dragging Stacey Keating inside the room with her then locking the door. Their eyes meet. Without another word Olivia drops in her "only" friend's arms in DC in tears. "Oh Doc I am so sorry," Stacey whimpers
The two women are barely a foot away from the bedroom door. Stacey is crunched down on the floor on her knees with the bottom of her legs behind her. Her shoes have been kicked off. Olivia's upper torso is in her lap as she sobs into Stacey's expensive suit. The agents knock on the door checking on Olivia hearing her.
They
"Doc is fine guys. Please go," Stacey answers.
"Mrs. Keating we have to make sure the First Lady is all right," Tom speaks next just arriving at her door.
"Tom right?"
"Yes Ma'am."
"Does it sound like she's all right," Stacey snaps.
"I need to make sure she is unharmed," Tom reiterates ready to break down the door hearing Olivia's cries intensify.
"So help me if you burst through this door you will be sorry. I have this agent Stanton," Stacey raises her voice with conviction. "Let us alone."
"Ma'am I can't. I just got word from The President your husband is on his way up to the Residence. I am under orders to escort you both to the Dining Room to wait for his arrival. It is time for President Grant and First Lady to hear his decision," Tom explains with his hand on the door. "I have to bring you both there now."
His words tick Stacey off and then Olivia shakes in her arms. She stopped crying but her body is now having tremors. She begs Olivia to permit her to sit on the bed or lay down. Olivia does not want to move off the floor feeling like dirt that Fitz tossed aside all over again.
"Liv if I don't get you off the floor, the agents will come in. He could be out there," Stacey explains gently not willing to make this situation any worse. Reluctantly Olivia rises off the floor then crawls over to the bed on her own. She refuses Stacey's help. Once on the bed Stacey's stomps to the door, unlocks it, and flings it open.
"Mrs. Keating," Tom stands up straighter. "Where is…," but he stops in his word seeing Olivia on bed curled up in a tiny ball.
"Does she look like in ANY condition to leave this room and deal with HIM," Tom gulps. "Do you have any idea what just happened." The agent standing next Tom fills him in. His face turn pale hoping this won't cause Olivia to become gravely ill like on Air Force One. He heard Olivia was in the room when Melanie had called Fitz which sent her fleeing out of the room then falling ill.
It is his job to protect the President. However, right now Tom and the others would do anything to ease Olivia's pain. Tom believes his boss has lingering feelings for Doc. He understands they have history especially after the loss of Noah. Tom has been with Fitz since the beginning. Doc and Fitz had made such progress until now.
They were FINALLY getting along. Doc was not screaming at is boss nor threatening to peal him or any of the other agents like a grape. Tom had never fear for his safety until that instant when the "First Lady" threatened. He'd take a bullet for The President, but getting skinned alive, he'll gladly stand down.
"I have to bring her," Tom utters afraid of what will happen next if he does not. Fitz is already at the elevator waiting for Patrick. "Your husband is on his way up to the Residence as we speak."
"Well I don't care. If my husband, Supreme Court Justice Patrick Keating needs me please tell him where to find me but NOTHING else. Now in terms of The President," she sneers. Tom and the other agents shiver feeling a cold chill run down their backs. "Go and tell YOUR BOSS we'll be out when DOC not the FIRST LADY is good and ready."
Tom begins to protest but Stacey stops him before he can utter a sound. "Are we clear Agent Stanton?"
"Crystal," Tom croaks. He turns to the agents at his sides. They back away from Olivia's door with Stacey watching until they are gone. The door is closed, then locked ensuring no one comes inside. Just she makes it to the bed a soft knock is heard. "I thought I said no visitors."
"Ma'am," Tom speaks softly. "I have a special someone who wants to be with Doc. I am sure she'll make her feel better."
Olivia hears Rogue whimpering outside. "Bring my Sweet Girl to me please," she murmurs not caring if she is Fitz's dog. The Siberian Husky puppy has been attached to Olivia's side barely leaving her since their meeting. She's slept with her every night, comforted on Air Force One and has become her closest friend besides Stacey since arriving at the White House.
The brokenness of Olivia's voice chokes Stacey up Olivia was just beginning to come out of her shell willing to leave the room. Stacey opens the door. Tom softly smiles with Rogue in his arms. He carries her himself to Olivia and places her on the bed. "Here you go Doc," Tom utters.
Olivia lifts her head to meet his. Rogue nudges her arm to snuggle into her body. Tom cannot believe The President let this happen. She cannot thank him but she does not need to. He can see how grateful she is within her eyes. He knees down before her. "I won't allow The President near this door. You have my word Doc."
Tom begins to leave but Olivia reaches out to grab his hand. She latches on to it then squeezes it hard. Without another word exchanged Tom leaves and keeps vigil outside her door personally.
The last two days she's kept herself hidden from the staff, willing to wait out Patrick's decision to finalize the divorce. She spoke to Finn that morning and she has a dying male cat with feline lower urinary disease catheterized in her ER waiting for her.
This eight year old male tabby kitty, came from over one-hundred miles for her help. Very few doctors have the know how to do it safely. Olivia went through extra school after she was already practicing to be able to do this procedure – a feline perineal urethostomy.
She learned from one of the best veterinarians in the State of Arkansas who had been doing the procedure for over twenty years. Olivia became one of his best students. The Vet, Dr. Johnathan Lewis who is now retired, is flying into the local airport tomorrow morning to assist Olivia for the surgery.
Basically as Doc explains to her patients, "I am gonna take your male kitty and turn him into a woman. And yes I'm gonna do exactly what you think I'm going to do. He's still going to be a boy but have a female bottom end. No more Little Buddy to do his business out of."
The owners of course would either crack up or cringe, if you were a man, at her explanation. This intricate surgery. The surgery he requires is tricking and she's the only one in the state that can perform it.
Stacey glances over at the bed, and sees Rogue nuzzling into Olivia's face kissing her tears away. She walks over to the bed and sits on the edge. "Liv," Stacey gently holds her hand. "It's going to fine."
"No it's not," Olivia whimpers. "I just want to go home."
"I get it," Stacey answers.
Olivia eyes meet hers. "How can you. You are used to this life. I'm not." Olivia sits up with Rogue in her lap. "I was not born into this world. I was NEVER meant to be here."
"I was not either. I'm originally from Minot, North Dakota. My Dad was Air Force, met my mom when he got stationed there," Stacey admits. She was a single mom with me. They met when I was ten. They got married we stayed there until I graduated High School." Olivia's mouth falls open. "I'm a small town girl too."
"But you seem,"
"So refined," Stacey blushes. "I put myself through college and law school working a few jobs until I landed a good paying job. My step-dad also gave me some of his GI bill to use. After I graduated I came here to DC to live with a friend. We went out to a bar because I had a blind date. The guy never showed up."
Olivia now has stopped crying.
"That night is when I met Peter. He sat next to me, we started talking. I really liked him. He was lawyer. He was so different from me which is why I fell for him. He too. Peter knew I was it for him after that night. I am a small town girl just like you. I am still not completely used to this city. So when I tell you I understand I truly do," Stacey explains.
Olivia nods. "And about what you heard HIM say to her…,"
"I don't want to talk about it," Olivia shifts on the bed away from her. "He humiliated me in front of you. I feel so stupid."
"Doc Pope you are one of the smartest women I know. You are by far stupid. No man can make you feel stupid unless you grant him permission too." Olivia eyes raise at the determination in her voice. "I know what I heard but right now we need to focus on getting you ready to see my husband and The President. So let's get cleaned up and walk into that Dining as two strong small town women ready to kiss some DC ass."
Olivia chuckles and nods. "Thank you."
"My pleasure." Olivia begins to get off the bed. Stacey waits for her as she changes, then tidy's herself to be presentable. She steps out of the bathroom ready to go. "Perfect," she utters proudly. "Now don't let The President get to you. You are there to hear if you are a free woman. Business as usual."
"Got it," Olivia answers as they step out of room. She meets Tom.

Judge's Prerogative…
"I'm ready Agent Stanton," Olivia speaks to him. "Let's do this so I can go home." Tom nods then brings her to the Dining Room where Fitz is waiting with Patrick. Olivia enters the room with Stacey. "Doc," Patrick Keating greets her.
"Hello your Honor. It's good to see you again," Olivia will not look at Fitz. She will NOT give him the satisfaction to gaze into his eyes. That is something from now on that MUST and WILL BE earned. Fitz attempts to get Olivia to look at him but she deliberately places her back to him.
"Are you all right Doc?" Patrick notes the puffiness in her eyes. He observes Fitz who will not stop looking at Olivia.
"I'm all right Your Honor." She sees the papers on the table. "Right as rain in fact. Let get this over with so The President and I can get on with our lives. He has a woman who is waiting for him to be free whom he loves," Patrick eyes raise at her tone. Fitz shifts uncomfortably behind her. He averts his eyes unable to look at Patrick.
Patrick gestures for her to sit.
"And if possible I'd like to be on a plane first thing tomorrow morning. I have surgery planned I do not want to reschedule. I am needed to save this animal's life," she explains further. "Without me he will die. I cannot allow it to happen."
Her words literally hit Fitz like a punch in the gut. His heart shatters in his chest aching to make THIS right. He had much such progress with her since Noah's grave. He ruined it all. If he did have a chance, he does not any longer. Yes he wanted to see Melanie but having her here with Olivia was not a good idea. It is unknown how much of their chat she had heard, but from what he can pick up on, it was enough.
She is leaving. Can she be stopped? Olivia is really going to leave as quickly as she arrived before she's had a chance to see anything. Fitz had plans for HER – them if the divorce was finalized or not. The way things are now, those plans will have to be scrapped.
"All right," Patrick responds. Fitz sits at the head of the table, with Patrick by his side. Stacey sits next to him, making Olivia sit by Fitz. He tries to gain her attention but she won't meet his eyes. He leans forward hoping to garner any hint she does not hate him but she will not give him the satisfaction.
Her eyes stay focused Patrick Keating only. She shifts her chair away from Fitz not wanting to be as close. Fitz relents. "Your honor what have you decided?" Patrick slides the papers over to Fitz and Olivia for them both to see. Fitz examines them first and without warning, throws them across the table. He utters not a word leaving the room slamming the door in the process.
"SON OF A BITCH," he growls from outside the door. He storms down the hallway to enter his private bedroom. The agents block off the hallway once he's safely inside hearing things being thrown.
Olivia is left there with the Keating's alone wondering what the heck just happened. She does not understand until she too sees his decision.
"Holy mother of Pearl," she gasps picking up his decision. Her eyes well with tears. Her hands begin to shake examining his decision. "Excuse me," she murmurs then rushes out the room with Tom on her heals. She makes it to her room, then locks herself inside before she collapses onto the floor just inches from the door in a fit of tears.
Stacey Keating reaches for the paperwork. The air escapes her lungs. "ARE YOU OUT OF YOU DAMN MIND," she screams at her husband standing up from the table.
"Stacey," Patrick stands to face her. "I am MOST CERTAINLY not."
"Oh I beg to differ. WHY IN THE HELL WOULD YOU DO THIS? WHAT IN THE HELL FOR? Do you have any idea what this entire situation is doing to Doc," she snaps. "What it WILL DO to her?"
"Her and what about the President," Patrick points out. "He's a part of this too."
"Yes he is. And he just BROKE HER HEART in the worse way," Stacey sniffles. Patrick steps into his wife's personal space and holds her hands. She does not have to tell him what happened but he has a good idea. Doc words of "Fitz having a woman waiting for him – whom he loves," leaves no room for interpretation.
"She heard him tell Melanie he…," he begins to question.
"Yes. I finally got Doc out of the room with Rogue. We walked past an open door where HE was with Melanie. I did not know she was here. The President has the right to see her, but for Doc to overhear what he said to her." Stacey fills him on the rest of the details. "She hates him."
"I gather," Patrick leans on the table. "I know I made the right choice."
"Choice for whom or what. The Country or The President," she challenges.
"Now Stacey that is not fair. They are one in the same. I was called upon to serve," he reminds her calmly.
"Yes Patrick you were. And you should remember who you serve. This is not just about the Country or President. Fitzgerald Grant and Olivia "Doc" Pope are two people just like you and me. A man and woman. This decision you made FOR THEM is about two lonely souls who need to be in the right circumstances to heal and move on in whatever path GOD has laid out for them. Neither one of us on this earth can predict the future especially in their circumstances. I do not agree with your choice, but now we will all have to deal with the repercussions," Stacey sighs.
"Stacey I don't regret it," he reaches out to touch her face but she backs away.
"I know. And that it what I am afraid will bite us all in the end. In my heart Patrick I believe President Grant is STILL head over heels in love with Olivia Pope," she exhales. "He is just being unbelievably stubborn and stupid about it doing everything wrong."
He agrees. "She is in love with him too," Patrick reiterates. "I saw the very same things you did the other night Stacey. I had to do this to make them see their relationship is worth fighting for. They are worth it. This was the only way."
"I hope your right Patrick. I truly hope you know what you are doing because if this does not work out, not only will President Grant and Doc never forgive you, neither will I," she sniffles. She kisses his cheek leaving him shocked.
Stacey leaves her husband in the Dining Room and hurries to Doc's room. Tom is standing watch at her door. She stops when she hears Fitz across the hall. "Is he all right?"
"No Ma'am. He's not," Tom sighs. "This is not how The President envisioned any of this happening."
"Should I," she gestures maybe talking to him will help. The noises coming from his bedroom are not normal.
"No. He won't be alone don't worry. I got him covered." She stands outside Doc's door. She hears her voice. "She's on the phone with her friend Abby-Lynn. You go head. You are the only one she'll allow inside right now." Stacey steps inside Olivia's room closes the door just as the elevator arrives in the Residence.
/
A Friendly Face….
The person who greets him stops when they hear Fitz. "Go ahead in Mr. Vice President. He needs a friend right now," he presses. "The President is having a rough day." The Vice President smiles softly steps inside Fitz's bedroom just as a glass is thrown across the room hitting the wall near the door.
"Jim-min-ne Crickets Fitz," the VP gasps jumping out of the line of fire.
Fitz stops staring his VP. "Sorry Andrew. I didn't expect anyone to be brave enough to come in here. Even Cyrus is staying clear for now."
"I wouldn't count on it for too long. Cyrus is your dragon. When he gets word from the staff you're breaking stuff in here, he'll be on his way. If you don't want to deal with him, on top of what's happening across the hall from you, I suggest you calm down," he suggests.
His eyes grow into saucers. Livy her name rings in his ears like a fire alarm. He must go talk to her, apologize, do anything she wants of him in order to gain her forgiveness. He wanted to see Melanie but not if it meant it was going to destroy any hope of Olivia forgiving him for all the pain he caused
Andrew sees the beginning of Fitz's thinking with his heart instead of head. He steps towards the door. "No leave it. You need to talk to someone first," he points for them both to step outside onto the balcony. "I can help you clean this mess up too. The staff shouldn't have to do this." Fitz agrees.
If he rushes into this situation without properly thinking it through it will not help anyone. He nods. Andrew and Fitz step outside. Fitz leans on the railing as Andrew steps beside him. He waits patiently for Fitz to begin speaking on his own about what has been going on since learning he was still a married man.
On Fitz's way to Alabama Fitz called Andrew from Air Force One. "Where you off to. Finally going to propose to Melanie?" Andrew teases as Air Force levels off.
"Not exactly. I wanted you to hear this from me Andrew. We've been friends for so long and," Fitz voices trails off unsure how to even tell him.
"Fitz what is it?"
"I'm on Air Force One. On my way to Alabama," Fitz gulps.
"Alabama wh-…," his words freeze before coming out his mouth. "Fitz you gave up on HER a long time ago. Why are you going there now?"
"To finalize our divorce," Fitz huffs sitting down behind his desk. "She's still my wife?"
"SHE'S WHAT? HOW," Andrew bellows. "I thought you two got divorced already." Fitz cannot explain to him why because he does know. Since this conversation Andrew has no idea what has occurred when he was down there. Fitz was not able to call him since he return. Olivia invaded his entire being once again. And by looks of his best friend, it has not changed.
Andrew nudges his arm. "Well," speaking softly to him. "What happened? How did it go in Alabama? What happened when you saw Liv," he speaks her name. Andrew of course knows her. He was best man at their wedding all those years ago. He promised her that he would stick by Fitz no matter what – be his right hand man. That led them to being a team through-out Fitz's political career.
He was one of the first friend to learn of Olivia's pregnancy then of course stood by them both when they lost Noah. He remembers when they lost each other when they lost their son. Fitz literally came apart from the insides out. Andrew warned him to not push Olivia away but by then it was too late. He knew Fitz would never get over her.
He remained at his side at when Fitz became Governor of California, then now he's his Vice President. He's always hope Fitz would come to his senses to fight for Olivia, but it never happened. When Andrew heard they were still married and Fitz had went to Alabama himself to tell her, he hoped it was a second chance.
"Andrew I totally fucked everything up," Fitz admits. He explains to him everything that happened. From the moment he saw her. Olivia running off on Elsa – he had to save her on Atticus. Meeting Finn. Seeing her clinic. Then Patrick Keating not finalizing the divorce till he met Olivia for himself.
"Did you go see Noah," Andrew inquires.
"Yes. I felt like an idiot because I forgot what day it was when I was there. I found at our son's grave the morning we flew up here," he rasps before giving him the details of her first trip on Air Force One including her getting sick.
"So you got her to come," Andrew answers in shock. It is then he remembers seeing Tom standing guard outside the room across from them. "She's across the hall from us isn't she?"
"Yes."
"She is obviously here. You mean her Daddy didn't try to blow your brains out with a shot gun," Andrew teases. Fitz smirks. "I am sure she yelled and screamed." Fitz nods. "So what happened after you got her here at the White House. I am sure she's never seen anything so grand and beautiful."
"There isn't," Fitz admits. Andrew eyes widen. Fitz is not speaking of the White House. "We met Keating, had dinner – her favorite." Then he explains the rest leaving Melanie out. "Keating was just here Andrew he gave me his decision."
"And?" Fitz stands up and meets his eyes. Fitz does not have to say it. Andrew has known him a long time. "OH SHIT SERIOUSLY."
"Yup," Fitz snips pushing off from the railing plopping hard on the couch. "I am so screwed."
"Obviously. Wait what about Melanie." Fitz downs his scotch hard. "Oh no what did you do?"
"Andrew I totally fucked up."
"With Melanie?"
"No Livy," he murmurs as the tears begin to form in his eyes.
"Livy huh," Andrew teases. "After all this time."
Fitz heads falls into his hands. "Always." Andrew heart breaks for him. He knows his heart. Too bad he's refusing to listen to it.
"So how did you hurt her this time?" It is now that Fitz clarifies what happened. After Fitz is done Andrew looks at him in shock. He cannot find any words to comfort him because he has none. He sits by Fitz then places his hand on his shoulder. "I just don't know what to say."
"What is there to say? I am an idiot," Fitz huffs leaning his head backwards on the couch. "I wanted to see Mel's. I missed her. This weekend I was going to ask her to marry me, not tell her to wait until I was divorced. She's been absolutely wonderful about it all. I know I hurt her when she found out but yet she is still here waiting for me to make a move."
"Has Liv met or seen her," he inquires.
"Lord Almighty no," Fitz groans running his fingers through his hair. "I can barely handle being alone with Olivia in a room. Both of them at the same time, I may resign and leave the White House." Andrews stifles a laugh because he would not blame him. "I swear Andrew if I had known Livy was there I would not have been stupid. How could I have done that?"
"I thought you loved Melanie," he inquires.
"I do. I don't say words if I don't mean them."
"True but are you IN love with her Fitz? I believe you have real feelings for Mel. She could be everything you ever wanted in a wife. But the truth is you truly haven't stopped comparing every woman to Olivia since that day in the diner where you first saw her. It is why you have been so reluctant to get involved with anyone even after all these years."
"I wasn't ready Andrew. Now I am and all this happens," Fitz scoffs standing abruptly from the couch. He leans over the railing.
"Does her Momma say these things happen for a reason Sugar Bean," Andrew snickers. Fitz cannot help but smile at Miss Pearl's wisdom used against her. "Also what did you say when Melanie told you she loved you. Think about it before you answer." Fitz eyes raise as it hits him.
"But I do love her," he sighs. "I do not lie."
"No you do not. And just maybe you do love Melanie but I believe you are NOT IN love with her. If you were, things would have progressed with you two by now." Fitz exhales deeply listening to his words.
"We were taking it slow Andrew. After what happened with Liv I didn't want to rush into anything. Melanie is a good person, woman for me. She…,"
"Is not Olivia Pope," Andrew reminds him. Fitz gulps at his tone. "You and I both know it. But I am willing to admit it for you." Fitz leans on the railing listening not uttering a word. "Also in the entire time I have been your friend, in my recollection you have only told OLD WOMAN the words I love you. Your mother is Southern. You know the implications of those three tiny words. Once they are said…"
"They cannot be taken back," Fitz finishes his thought. "So what do I do? Liv hates me. I broke her heart again. She won't even look at me never mind speak to me. Melanie is going to be hurt."
"That an understatement," Fitz glares at him. "What you know I'm not lying?" Fitz sighs. "You cannot have both. Keating already made that decision for you. If you fight him, it will only makes this entire situation worse."
"How is that even possible? Liv and I made such progress Andrew and I ruined it – us. She was finally starting to trust me, not hate me, and then THIS. I had no intention of hurting her but I did. I keep screwing THIS up," he growls walking to the opposite side of the balcony. There he stops realizing it is Olivia's window he's near.
This double door leads to her room. "Fitz?"
"She's," he gulps. He can hear her crying.
"That's her room. Isn't it," Fitz nods. Andrew steps to stand beside him. "Is it taking everything within you not to go in there?" His head whips to his VP. "I advise you not to my friend. If you do be prepared for her to throw something at you."
"Yah," he huffs defeated. He saunters in the other direction the plops on the couch. Hit feet sit on the coffee table. "She's leaving?"
"Melanie?"
"No Livy," Fitz whimpers. "She has an emergency surgery she has to perform tomorrow. A cat is in trouble."
"She can't just leave," Andrew points out.
"YOU BET YOUR ASS I CAN," Olivia speaks making her presence known. "NO ONE IS STOPPING ME FROM LEAVING." Fitz instantly stands up realizing she's there. However she still not look at him. Her eyes meet Andrew's. He's still the same only older and a tad bit better looking. There are hints of grey in his hair.
Fitz places his hands in his pockets staring at her. He longs to speak to her but just being out here with her will have to be enough for the moment.
"Well screw me sideways," Olivia utters smiling at Andrew. "Is it really Toy Story Andy after all these years? Where's Bullseye?"
"In a stable where I left him Doc Oct," Andrew teases walking to Olivia. Fitz eyes widen listening to them banter. She still refuses to acknowledge is presence. Olivia sashay's to Andrew. "Still afraid of spiders I bet after all this time."
"I'll never tell," Olivia quips stepping to close to distance between them.
"You have not changed."
Finally they hug. Fitz is envious of Andrew. She smirks. "Neither have you Vice President Hennings." Olivia feels his eyes on her but she shrugs it off. "So did you hear the news?"
"News," Andrew inquires. "Oh yes The President told me."
"Told yah what?" Fitz eyes widen hearing the disdain, and hatred in her tone. "Oh yes that him and I are apparently still hitched. And it's going to stay that way until the Supreme Court Justice sets his terms and decides. So now we're stuck with each other until the fancy Judge dictates otherwise. Isn't that just peachy…," she sneers finally locking eyes with Fitz who shrinks away afraid she'll literally peel him like a grape.
Andrew side glances Fitz. "You are in so much trouble."
Her next words hit Fitz like a CLASS FIVE tornado. "Oh Sugar you have no idea. Ya'll haven't seen nothing yet."

TBC…
Yes that is it for now. I updated this fic early so you all would know Patrick Keating's decision. I made you stick it out till the bitter end. (I know I'm a meanie.) I had many of you guess either way but I hope his ultimate choice did not disappoint. I wrote this chapter to keep you guessing until now. I hope it worked.
The TORNADO has arrived and boy does our man Fitz have his worked cut out for him. This is going to be one rough ride. I truly hope you are all ready, Olitz's road will be bumpy and messy and not for the weak of heart.
As always be safe, Thank for reading, and have a great 4th of July tomorrow.
Me's
P.S. Andrew Hennings, Fitz's VP is the VERY same character from Sweet Home Alabama played by the very handsome Patrick Dempsey. You are welcome. ;-)
