AN: And here it is! Sorry for the absence, kiddies, life kicked me in the teeth once again and I had to have a fierce duel with a mean case of writer's block. With things now a bit more normal and my writer's block (hopefully) burning upon its own funeral pyre, I should be able to get my planned updates out. That being said, I hope this one is up to snuff, as my writer's block made planning this one out a bitch.

Chapter 14: Brothers, Sisters and Catastrophe

"Are you sure about this?" She stared up at me, innocent eyes the same icy blue as mine yet didn't reflect the same pain that I had been through – that I hoped to the Gods she NEVER had to go through.

"Don't worry about me, Maria." I tried to reassure her with the brightest smile I could manage. "Your big brother has things all planned out."

"That's what you said when General Ironwood recruited you into his Specialist group." Maria frowned up at me, a knowing glint in her eyes. She had my intelligence and she had my caution, she was a sharp little thing that I was proud to call my baby sister. "How did that hold up when you flunked out of the initial training?"

"You know as well as I do that I didn't 'flunk' anything." I retorted with a huff, a bit put off. "That tool of a 'Schnee' sabotaged me!"

"What if we just go to Mother?" She suggested. "Surely she can go over Jacques's head and find us something to do!"

"No." I denied a bit too harshly as I narrowed my eyes. "Mom's always viewed us as mistakes, you know that. We were the reason she had a falling out with that bastard Jacques." I spat to the side to rid myself of the bad taste in my mouth at the mere mention of that man. "Besides, our older half-sister is quickly gaining the favor of General Ironwood."

"And Weiss?" She questioned with a tilt of her head.

"Biologically she may be my twin; otherwise, I don't consider her my sister." I frowned deeply. "She had the good fortune to not be born with these." I gestured to my fox ears, and then to her white tail. "Jacques only accepted her because Winter joined the Army and he needed an heir that wasn't a Faunus."

"There's always Whitley." Maria pointed out.

"Hell no." I all but laughed. "Whitley may be the only truly legitimate child Jacques has besides Winter, but compared to the rest of us, he's a little bitch who prefers to have others do things for him instead of getting his own hands dirty."

"And you're leaving me here, in the middle of all this family drama?" She placed her hands on her hips. "Take me with you, Frost, please!"

"If things in Vale don't work out, then I'll have saved us both the trouble of moving." I leaned down and kissed her upon her crown. "Signal's bound to accept me, and from there, I can apply to Beacon and see about having you transferred from here to Signal." I managed another smile. "We can be Hunters together, far away from the assholes here in Atlas. Out of sight, out of mind."

"But what happens if this plan doesn't work?" She stared up at me again. "What happens if we have to come back here?"

"One step at a time, Maria." I reassured her before stooping down and collecting my bags. "Take care of yourself here; I'll be back as soon as I graduate from Signal."

"I don't like this, Frost." She whined as she hugged me, ignoring the sound of the airship's revving engines.

"Neither do I." I hugged her back. "But I'm the older sibling here, so it's my responsibility to take care of you."

"Be careful!" She called after me as I began my walk away from her.

"Always am!" I tossed a wave over my shoulder as I boarded the airship.

I left her standing there, worried about me, obviously, but I had to push forward. I had a plan, and as always, I was sure it would work.

"Something I can help you with?" A voice brought Frost out of his musings as he quickly adjusted the hood of the heavy cloak he was wearing to obscure his face.

"I'm looking for someone." He answered the kindly old man who had bothered to speak to him.

"I used to work at this place." The old man nodded while gesturing at the boarding house. "Maybe I can point you in the right direction."

"Is there a Maria Schwarz still here, or in the area?" He asked, trying to keep his voice even.

"Afraid not." The old man shook his head. "She just recently left; said she got accepted into a Combat School outside of the Kingdom. Signal, I believe."

"I… see." Frost slowly nodded as the snow that was falling around him picked up along with the wind, nearly blowing his hood off. "Thank you." He offered the old man a slight bow as he excused himself.

'She's looking for me, no doubt.' He mentally sighed. 'I wanted to see her one last time before I…' He stopped himself short when he felt the pull of his new master.

"What?" He voiced aloud, knowing the sound of the snowstorm would drown out his voice.

'You're in Atlas.' Salem's voice rang in his head. 'Why?'

"Fuck you, that's why." He snapped, then same to a sudden halt when a searing jolt of white hot pain went through his entire system.

'Why. Are you. In Atlas?' Salem repeated slowly as he presence began to invade his very being.

"Atlas has top of the line tech." He struggled, but pushed through the pain with a defiant smirk. "I was here looking for the biggest vibrator they had so you can go fuck yourself, bitch!"

Immediately, he screamed out and fell to his knees in the snow gripping at his head with both hands.

'I have given you the power to destroy Naruto Uzumaki.' Her voice was now an echo. 'In exchange, I demand complete obedience.'

"Naruto struck first and killed me." He growled as his right eye began to glow and the black began to seep out of it. "He did what he had to do in order to protect his own interests. I would have done the same thing in his shoes!" Slowly, Frost began to force himself to his feet. "No matter what power you give me, no matter what bullshit you promise me, I will NOT turn on him a second time! You gave me a second chance and showed me things I was better off not knowing!" His arms fell to his sides as he tightened his hands into fists. "But HE gave me a purpose and I threw everything he gave for me back into his face! I won't fight him for you or anyone! He's my BROTHER!"

The wind began to pick up and the snowfall soon turned into a blizzard as the black left his right sclera, the bulging veins receded and his paper white complexion gave way to a more normal yet still pale complexion. If only temporarily, Frost had forced Salem out of his body… he was in control of himself once again.

"Now…" He took a few moments to recompose himself. "To Vale."

(Patch: Signal: Same time)

"It's an honor to have you here, Professor." Spoke the Principal of Signal as he fervently shook Naruto's hand. "Not every day the Deputy Headmaster of Beacon comes by!"

"I was on the island anyway." Naruto half shrugged with a smile. "Thought I'd swing by and see how things were; I used to attend this very school, after all."

"And what a pleasure it is to see you again." The aging man smiled. "Though I suspect you have an ulterior motive for visiting and not just a trip down memory lane?"

"Unfortunately yes." The blonde Faunus nodded. "As you have obviously heard, I'm now the Deputy Headmaster of Beacon and shall as such succeed Ozpin as Headmaster."

"Of course." The man nodded.

"Ozpin took me in and has just recently begun to officially groom me to be his successor." Naruto continued. "Seeing as I'm next in line, I wish to future proof the succession by choosing my own successor should the unthinkable happen that renders both Ozpin and I incapable of running the school."

"And you've come here to choose your apprentice." The aged man surmised with a knowing nod. "It goes without saying that you have my blessing to sit in on our sparring classes to see for yourself the talent that this new generation is producing."

"Thank you." Naruto inclined his head in a bow. "I know this is highly unorthodox, and…"

"Please." The man held up a hand. "It's for the future of Beacon." He smiled once again. "Once upon a time, you were this school's prodigy until you and your group of friends left to find your own paths. You have plenty of real world experience to pass on that this school cannot practically teach."

"Then where should I start?"

(Sparring Room 1-B: Minutes later)

"Maria Schwarz!"

Just hearing that voice made Maria roll her eyes.

"What do you want, Lincoln?" She groaned as she kept her eyes glued to the game she was playing on her Scroll.

"Fight me!" The now identified Lincoln demanded as he brandished his weapons, which were a paired sword and shield combo in his right and left hands respectively.

This was Lincoln Verdant, aged fifteen ranked Number Two in Signal. He stood at a height of 5'6", had short dull green hair, vibrant orange eyes and was fair of skin. His attire consisted of a black short-sleeved t-shirt that had glowing green flames licking the hem that seemed to have been imbued with Dust, woodland camo cargo shorts, black low-top boots, knee pads over both knees, an elbow pad over his right elbow, a dark green sleeveless coat that seemed to be made of a material similar to a flak jacket that ended about his thighs and black fingerless gloves that glowed with red Dust inlays.

His shield was a targe which was made of black colored steel while his sword was a longsword made of high quality steel and had a golden crossguard that seemed to be the image of a dragon whose wings were unfurled, green grips covering the handle and a spiked pommel. His shield was held in his left hand while his sword sat gripped within his right.

Before him was none other than Maria Schwarz, also aged fifteen and was ranked First in Signal. She stood at a height of 5'7" had her long white hair tied back into a French-braided bun and had two strands hanging down to frame her face, icy blue eyes and slightly pale skin with a beauty mark under her left eye. Her choice in attire was a white summer dress decorated with black snowflakes upon the hem of the skirt which stopped just at her knees, black stockings and white knee-high heeled shoes whose laces were dyed black, a black corset tied together with white laces and black fingerless gloves that were reinforced around the wrists and had armor segments surrounding the fingers and the backs of the hands akin to armored gauntlets.

"You're just going to lose again." Maria spoke evenly as she shut her Scroll down and pocketed it.

"Never hurts to try, right?" Lincoln shrugged as he stepped into the sparring circle. "Come on, one quick match!"

At about this time, Naruto came walking in along with the Principal in time to see Maria begrudgingly stepping into the ring.

"That's them?" Naruto gestured to the two.

"Our top two students." The Principal nodded.

"What are their names?" He folded his arms across his chest as he looked on at the prospective fight.

"Lincoln Verdant and Maria Schwarz."

"Who?!" His head whipped around so fast that he damn near broke his own neck.

"Maria Schwarz." The aged Principal repeated. "She transferred in just after Miss Rose was transferred to Beacon."

And this was when the fight commenced. Lincoln had quickly dashed in and immediately charged her with his shield and followed up with a downward slash from his sword when she backpedaled away. Immediately following the slash was a horizontal swing of his shield arm in an attempt to catch her with the outer edge of his shield, only for Maria to bend backwards in order to limbo out of the way, where she then continued her fall backwards into a back handstand to avoid yet another follow up slash from his sword.

As she righted herself from her handstand, Lincoln was on her once again, this time with a straight right heel kick which she sidestepped and struck out with her right foot in a snap kick which he blocked by bringing his still extended right leg down and followed through with another shield charge. Instead of backing away from this one, however, Maria lurched forward and somersaulted over him, then landed and with her back still facing him, she brought her right hand up and closed it into a fist.

All at once, Lincoln's right leg was pulled out from under him, both his arms were pulled out at awkward angles and he had been pulled a few inches off the ground and simply hung there by the now visible glowing blue threads of Energy Dust that all led back to Maria's fingertips which were glowing the very same blue color the threads were.

"I told you you'd end up losing." She lazily huffed as she turned and stared at him as he dangled from the threads.

"Quick." Naruto chuckled as he ran a hand through his hair. "The differences between her and Frost are astounding."

"How so?" The Principal asked.

"Frost would have dragged this out while taunting his opponent just to remind them of how outmatched they were. It seems Maria likes to end things quickly, and without showing off her skills too much." He shook his head while chuckling again in amusement. "I think I've found my apprentices."

"Two, Professor?" Questioned the aged man.

"I owe it to Frost to take his sister under my wing." Naruto explained while keeping a keen eye on the white haired girl. "And the boy, Lincoln, I see great promise in him. He has a fire in his eyes and with enough refinement, I believe he could match the likes of even my Uncle Qrow given time and training."

"Maria!" The Principal called out to the girl in question. "Let Lincoln go and the both of you fall in!"

On cue, Maria's fingertips stopped glowing as Lincoln was lowered gently to the ground where he immediately began grumbling to himself while sheathing his sword upon the sheathe on his back and securing his shield upon his back as well.

"You're too damn fast." Lincoln glared at his friend/rival.

"That was me being slow." Maria shook her head as she dusted her dress off. "Trust me; you'd know if I was going fast."

"You may indeed be fast." Naruto interjected as he stepped fully into the room. "But I know others who are faster than you." He linked his hands behind his back with a knowing smile. "Myself included."

"And just who are you?" Lincoln eyed this newcomer up and down. "You can't be but a couple years older than us."

"Professor Naruto Uzumaki." The Principal introduced him to the whole arena. "Deputy Headmaster of Beacon Academy. While he's here, he speaks for Headmaster Ozpin of Beacon, so I expect everyone to show him the respect and courtesy he deserves!"

At the mention of his name, Naruto saw the glint in Maria's eye flash, as if she now understood or recognized something, and he already knew just what is was she recognized.

"Miss Schwarz, if you would, please follow me." He unlinked his hands and gestured at the exit. "It seems we have much to discuss."

Oh, this was going to be a long and painful synopsis…

(Taiyang's House: Same time)

Within the confines of her room Ruby was working tirelessly at her desk, a pile of papers outlining ideas and diagrams, plus a few blueprints here and there. As she lightly bit down upon the eraser of the pencil she was holding, her silver eyes scanned the blueprints she had drawn up meticulously, scrutinizing them for any miscalculation or error that she had to correct. She wanted this to be perfect, as it was no ordinary blueprint. Drawn upon it was the schematic of what was to be Naruto's new weapon that she was going to personally assemble for him. Yang had told her of how the Hissatsu had been ruined and how he had been forced to take the weapon of the person who destroyed it as a replacement and that just didn't sit well with her at all, so she made a point to sit down and design him a new one.

For now, it was just a design on a piece of paper, but she had already poured her soul into this project and she'd pour even more into its construction when the time came. For the moment, she was satisfied with the design – a satisfaction that she was sure would be short-lived – so she stopped chomping on her pencil and finally set it down with a loud sigh as she stretched in her seat. She had been at this for a few hours, so when a chorus of cracking bones sounded throughout the room, she knew she had to wind down.

'And what better way than a hot bath?' She mused to herself with a smile as she rose from her chair and made her way out of her room.

As she trekked through the house, her path led her past her sister's room, a normal thing considering Yang's room was on the way to the bathroom. What wasn't normal, however, was when Ruby passed the door, she heard a hushed gasp from inside the room, muffled by the door. With her curiosity overriding her common sense, Ruby decided against just moving on in favor of cracking her sister's door open. Her eyes went wide, her jaw dropped to the floor and her cheeks went as red as her hair at what she was seeing.

Lying nude upon her bed was Yang, left hand groping her left breast and her right hand between her spread legs working at the treasure therein. A light sheen of sweat covered every inch of her body, her eyes were clenched closed and she was desperately chewing upon her bottom lip to stop her many moans and whimpers of pleasure.

Normally catching her sister like this would lead to Ruby creeping silently away while trying to bleach her brain of what she just saw, but this time it was different. Something was just… off. Ever since they shared a kiss in front of their Dad and Naruto, something had changed between them. Ruby believed she knew what it was, and it scared her, made her uncertain of the future… but at the same time thrilled her, intrigued her and awakened a side of her that she didn't know existed.

As she watched her sister pleasure herself, Ruby found that her own hands were on autopilot now. Before she knew it, her pajama pants and panties were pulled down, her left hand kept her steady and upright while her right fingers were going to town on her own treasure until both her and Yang had matched paces. No doubt Yang was fantasizing about all the things she wanted to do with Naruto, perhaps the same things that her own not so innocent imagination were conjuring up at this very moment.

"Ahn…" Yang let out a sharp but soft yelp. "R-Ruuubyyyy~…"

Ruby's once closed eyes shot open at what she had heard her own sister moan out. She wasn't fantasizing about Naruto, she was fantasizing about her.

"Rubyyy~!" Yang moaned her sister's name again, this time a bit louder and more breathy.

Ruby could see Yang's self-ministration becoming more erratic by the second; they were both close it seemed. With her own fantasies shattered, Ruby once again matched pace with her older sister. Though there was a door separating them, their shared moans matched rhythm, their eyes clenched closed their breathing became ragged and finally their backs arched and they both harshly bit down on their own lips to muffle their screams as they both shared equally powerful orgasms.

With her own fluids dripping from between her legs and staining both her panties, her pajama pants and the floor, Ruby finally collapsed to her knees with a noisy thud gasping for air and reveling in the high she was still riding… until the door in front of her swung open to reveal a still very nude Yang standing over her with a shit-eating smirk.

"Enjoy the show, sis?"

"Y-You… knew…?" Ruby's eyes widened as she stared up at her older sister.

"What, that my door mysteriously cracked itself open and started moaning?" She retorted. "You caught me, so I figured I'd give you a show." It was at this point that she nervously scratched the back of her head, a nervous tic she had developed thanks to her boyfriend. "I just happened to begin fantasizing about you in the middle of it all…"

"Y-Yang…?" The young Rose stuttered out before being hauled to her feet.

"Come on, we're both sweaty and sticky and you left a little mess on the floor." Yang declared. "Let's get ourselves cleaned up, mop up the floor and then we can finally sit down and hash out what's obviously been going on between us, if your voyeurism is any indication that something's up."

(Signal: Two hours later)

She was taking it rather well, all things considered. She was more mature than he had given her credit for. As Naruto sat across from Maria at the conference table they were sitting at, he gave her a moment to absorb everything he had told her about Frost.

"So, all the money that was transferred into my account was most of his take from the Atlas job?" She questioned.

"After being cleaned and sent through various other accounts to throw off Atlas's search." Naruto nodded. "Frost only kept a fifth of his own cut; the rest went to you."

"Then why did he never come back?" Her blue eyes were downcast as she fidgeted with her thumbs. "With the combined take, we could have both made a decent life outside of Atlas; away from the parasites we called 'family'."

"Partly because he wanted to keep you at arms distance in case the heat we got from that job never went away." He answered. "He didn't want you implicated, so he washed the majority of his take, transferred it to you and then disappeared for two years… until we all got back together for one last job, or so we thought at the time."

"What happened then?" She urged him to continue.

"Shit went south real quick." Naruto sighed as he leaned back into his chair. "We got involved with a group we should never have even associated with, lines were drawn in the sand… the Shepherds chose me over him and he left." He paused to take a sip of the glass of water that was on the table in front of him. "Fast forward a few months and he reaches out to me, says he wants to meet me for a talk. We talk, I try to talk him down from the path he chose for himself, he didn't listen, and…" He stopped himself with a grimace.

"And…?" Maria pressed as she leaned forward, eyes flashing a hint of want. "What happened?"

"I did my duty as a Huntsman." He gravely intoned, his blue eyes practically boring holes into her own. "I made his death as quick and painless as I could possibly make it."

Surprisingly, she nodded, though her eyes were now closed and she was obviously trying to keep her emotions in check.

"I suspected as much, but I had still hoped…" She stopped short as she covered her mouth with her right hand to suppress a sob. "Frost, dammit…" She lowered her head into her hands. "I warned you…"

"I'm sorry, Maria." Naruto balled his hands into fists, flashes of the night he killed his best friend filling his head.

"You…" She sniffled as she raised her head. "You were doing your duty… just like Frost would have done his, stubborn as he was."

"You have a right to hate me, Maria." Naruto also raised his head to lock eyes with her. "Something like this just can't be easily forgiven."

"The person you killed wasn't the brother I remember." She shook her head after ridding herself of the leftover tears. "The brother I remember was a lovable, kind, stubborn idiot who would have done anything to make me smile." She paused to chuckle at the memories that were no doubt flooding through her. "The Frost you've described was one that had been consumed by his own desires and blinded by the hatred of his own family that tried to rationalize everything by using me as an excuse and saw you as the object of his twisted 'revenge' against the world." Though still a bit red and puffy from the tears, her blue eyes were now hardened. "I'll remember him for what he was, I'll mourn him, but I'll never acknowledge him as the obsessed sociopathic criminal he turned himself into."

"You inherited his willfulness, it seems." Naruto let out a short laugh, then found himself nodding. "We'll both remember him the same way, then."

"And to help make up for his misdeeds, allow me to take his spot on the Shepherds!" She suddenly stood. "I'll right his wrongs and attempt to fill the hole he left."

"I'll do you one better." He also stood, then walked around the table to place a hand upon her shoulder. "I'm making you my apprentice."

"You don't even have to ask if I'll accept!" She beamed. "Of course I will!"

"You and your friend, Lincoln."

The joy that was lit up in her icy blue orbs was then smothered by the confusion.

"Why Link?" She questioned.

"Professor Ozpin has two agents whom he calls his 'eyes'." He explained. "When I take over, I obviously need my own 'eyes'. That would be both you and Link."

"And you'll be training us both at the same time?"

"With occasional help from my fellow Professors and Shepherds, yes." He confirmed with a nod of his head.

"Well…" She sighed. "As long as you know what you're doing…"

On the other side of the wall, a cloaked figure broke into a smile at what he was hearing.

"Take care of her, Naru…" Frost muttered as he pushed himself off of the wall he was leaning against and disappeared into the halls of the school… and then halted in his steps once again when a sharp pain filled his head.

"You're this close to him!" Salem's voice filled his entire being. "Bring him down! Show Ozpin that his champion is nothing against you!"

"I refuse!" Frost hissed out as he pinched the bridge of his nose while also grinding his teeth.

"I command you!" She began screaming. "Fight him!"

"No!" He denied once again, this time a bit louder. "I will not!"

"KILL HIM!" She all but bellowed into the very depths of his soul.

The black returned to his sclera, the veins on his right temple bulged out once again and turned black, his eyes were glowing an ethereal blue and as she invaded him once again, he threw his head back and screamed at the top of his lungs while collapsing to his knees, gripping desperately at his own head.

The door behind him was thrown open and out came running both Naruto and Maria. Now brandishing Wilt in his right hand and Blush in his left, he took aim at the cloaked figure before him, as he sensed something evil rolling off this person.

"Stand and present yourself!" He ordered. "Now!"

"Na… ru…" Frost growled out as he slowly inched his way up to his full height. "Kill… me…"

"That voice…" His eyes widened and his left hand began shaking. "N-No…"

"Kill me!" Frost screamed as he rounded upon both his "brother" and sister, revealing to them his accursed visage.

"Frost…?" Maria collapsed to her knees.

"By the Gods…" Naruto breathed as he stared on in revilement, knowing exactly what had happened. "Frost… what has she done to you…?"

"Kill me…" Frost repeated himself. "Kill me… and you weaken her… She's invested in me… gave me part of her power…" He stopped as another wave of excruciating pain flooded his system. "Kill me, weaken her… and then kill HER!"

After dropping Blush, Naruto took Wilt into both hands and settled into a stance. "I'm sorry, Frost." He bowed his head. "I'll try to make it quick again…"

"Too late…"

At about this time, the alarms within and around the school began blaring, alerting the whole island of what was to come. Attracted by the very, very negative emotions rolling off of Frost coupled with the emergence of Salem's power, every Grimm that happened to inhabit Patch had suddenly perked up and were drawn to their Mistress's embrace. Signal just happened to be in their way, so they would do what their nature commanded them do...

"No…" Naruto took his focus off of Frost and in that split second, the chosen vessel of Salem had rushed off and disappeared back into the winding hallways.

"Naruto!" A voice was calling out to him from one of his pockets.

"Oz!" Naruto greeted the Headmaster after fishing his Scroll out of his pants pocket. "Signal's under siege by a horde; there's no way I can hold them all off without using my Chakra!" He spared a glance down at Maria, who was still in shock.

"I already have Sasuke on his way with both Hunter and military reinforcements!" The bespectacled Headmaster tried to calmly explain but was failing. "Protect that school at all costs, Naruto! Get to Taiyang and Raven; they'll help you!"

"Naruto!" None other than Taiyang yelled out to him. "We need you on the frontlines, son! We need leadership and you're the ranking Huntsman here!"

"I gotta go, Oz!" Naruto ended the call and pocketed his Scroll. "Maria!" He turned his attention to his new apprentice.

"F-Frost…" She was mumbling incoherently.

"MARIA!" He stood her up and began shaking her out of her reverie. "You need to stand and fight! All hands on deck here; this school against a horde!"

"He's alive, Professor!" She replied. "My brother's alive!"

"And we'll deal with him later!" He pressed. "For now, we need to deal with the immediate threat! This school will fall if we don't act, so snap out of it and follow me!"

And so he left her sanding there as he rushed off to rally the sparse few Huntsmen and Huntresses that were currently on site. There were more pressing things to deal with and he had to defend Signal.

Maria, however, still stood there in a haze, her eyes going in and out of focus as if she were hallucinating something.

"He's alive…"

AN: A bit of backstory on Frost and Maria, more serious action between Ruby and Yang, the revelation and shit hitting the fan! What did you guys think? Will Weiss being half-Faunus be a future issue for the Company? Will Yang and Ruby sort things out? How will the siege go?! I know all of these things, but I'm evil, so I'm going to have you guys wait it out.

Seriously though, Frost being a bastard Schnee was my plan from the very beginning, as well as Weiss being his twin. Really, the only thing that saved her from being disowned and disinherited immediately was that she was more or less born human while Frost took all the Faunus traits. Mama Schnee really got around behind Jacques' back, eh?

Now, with the introduction of Maria, she's another choice for the fifth and final girl, and I'm tossing around the possibility of Raven being the final girl as well. What do you guys think? Would Raven work, or would it be just a bit too weird, considering Yang and Ruby have their own thing going on at the same time? Would Maria be the better choice, or should I just leave it at four? Opinions are appreciated!
