Previously on PokemonxDigimon Johto Origins: What's up everyone Daisuke here giving you the previous history on last part. We finally made to the Azela gym. Me,Ash, Taichi and Ken could be more excited about our big day, meeting up with the Azela Gym leader Bugsy who specializes in Bug-type pokemon. I wanted the others to go before me but Ash convince that I should go first. After a rough time battling Bugsy's pokemon, me and Ash have won victoriously and earn each the Hive Badge. Tommorow it's Ken and Taichi's turn to take on the gym. I know for sure that they will rock Bugsy's world no doubt.

(Taichi's Voice): Quiver power of Bug Pokemon
After Daisuke and Ash each won the Hive Badge, tomorrow Taichi and Ken are gonna take on Bugsy the Azela Gym leader. Right now everyone is at the Pokemon Center relaxing. Anyone want dinner? Well our best chef is already on the work.
"We won our second badge, now we need is six more to go" Daisuke said looking at his badges from his badge case.
"Oh yeah!" Veemon smiled.
"Yeah but it's been the fifth time you gazed at it, now I'm taking it" Hikari said, snitching the bade case from Daisuke.
"Hey give that back" Daisuke frowned trying to get it back from her.
"No" Hikari said sticking her tongue out.
Ash and Dawn smiled while shaking their heads then the Bluenette looked at the Crimison hair boy "I was surprised when Infernape appeared, I didn't know you plan this out before" She said, cocky an eye.
"Well I tend to make surprises" Ash chuckled, scratching his head.
The pokemon were having their dinner then Brock came out with the food for the gang "Alright guys Dinner is ready" he said, smiling.
"I can't wait to eat" May said, with sparkles in her eyes making everyone sweat drop.
"Boy she loves food doesn't she?" Taichi asked Ash and Dawn.
"Oh yeah, but if someone ruins her dinner or anything involving food, she'll go berserk" Ash said, nervously giggling.
"That's so true" Dawn nodded in agreement.
May turned around cocky an eye at the two "I heard that!" She frowned making them turn around pretending they didn't say anything while giggling.
Ken smiled then noticed that Chimchar was throwing punches at Infernape's hands "Those two really do get along don't they?" He asked.
"Of course remember Infernape is the final evolved form of Chimchar" Ash pointed out.
"It won't be any surprise if Chimchar looks at Infernape as his big brother" Dawn said, while smiling.

During the night, everyone was asleep expect for our Digidestined of Courage who couldn't help but think about his match against Bugsy.
"Boy I am so looking forward to this match that I can't even sleep at all, I just hope all the training me, Agumon, Aron and Bulbasaur did really pays off" He thought to himself, closing his eyes then opened wide open and noticed that Sora was laying next to him while smiling.
"Hey" Sora whispered.
"Hey" Taichi whispered.
"Your excited about your match with Bugsy aren't you?" Sora asked the brown hair boy.
Taichi shrugged with a silly face "Hmmmmm yeah" he said making Sora giggle "Are you gonna cheer for us?".
Sora smiled then placed her left hand onto Taichi's right cheek "Of course Taichi, you know I will" she said, then gave a evil look "Even though you are clumsy".
Taichi gave a stun look then grab a pillow then playfully hit Sora with it "That's not nice".
"Oh you bully" Sora growled in quiet tone with both wrestle each other with Sora on top of Taichi as both laugh at each other.
"Your really something" Taichi said as they giggled then they looked at their position and blushed but for some reason they weren't worried at all.
"I never knew we would be like this" Sora calmly said.
"Me neither" Taichi said then place his left hand on Sora's right cheek with both looking deeply in their eyes then without any thought Sora went closer with Taichi doing the same, tilting their heads then kissed. After the kiss, they pulled back with shocking looks.
"Taichi…I ummmm" Sora stuttered.
"Ummm maybe we should umm….head to bed" Taichi manage to say.
Sora nodded at the idea then she got up and went to her bed with both went to sleep with something on their mind.
"I actually kissed Sora, I'm not gonna forget this even if I try" Taichi throught, placing his hand on his head.
"Oh my god, I can't believe I kissed Taichi" Sora thought, placing her hand on her chest and with that they both fell asleep.

The next day has arrived and everyone was at the entrance of the Azela gym. Both Taichi and Ken looked up with confident looks, after a moment they nodded their heads and enter the gym with Bugsy standing there with his arms crossing and smirking.
"Good Morning guys, had a good night rest?" Bugsy asked.
"Yep!" Ken and Taichi nodded their heads.
Bugsy nodded "Great, I'm looking forward to our matches, so who's up to battle me".
Ken stepped forward with Wormmon following behind "I will be the first one go" he said, smiling.
Bugsy nodded his head "Alright then Ken, let's process to the battlefield" he said.
Everyone was at the battlefield, while Ken and Bugsy were standing across the battlefield as the ref walks to the center "The battle between Bugsy the Azela Gym leader and the challenger Ken Ichijo is about to begin, each side will use three pokemon and the match is over when one's side three pokemon is unable to battle, furthermore only the challenger is allow to substitute pokemon.
"Alright Lickitung let's go!" Ken calls out his pokemon.
"Licki!" Lickitung got into battle position.
"So a Lickitung huh? So in that case Yanmega go!" Bugsy calls out his pokemon.
"Yannnn"
"He's starting out with Yanmega" Hikari said, while holding Gatomon.
"It's gonna be tough one" Brock said, while looking at Yanmega and Lickitung "Especially Lickitung has to deal with Yanmega's Speed Boost ability and Detect".
"Don't worry I know Ken and Lickitung can handle this" Daisuke said to them with a smirk on his face.
"That's right" Veemon nodded in agreement.
"Yeah no need to worry" Ash said, rising his fist.
"Pika Pika" Pikachu smirked.
The ref looked both sides with their pokemon "Alright let the match begin!" The ref shouted, rising both hands.
Battle Scene: Ken and Lickitung vs. Bugsy and Yanmega
Yanmega moves left and right trying to confuse Lickitung "Stay calm Lickitung and use Aqua tail" Ken said, pointing forward.
"Tunnnnnn" Lickitung's tail glow in water veil then shot a swirl water tornado at Yanmega.
"Yanmega Detect" Bugsy said, smirking.
Yanmega's eyes glow green and dodge away from the Aqua tail "Now Air Slash" Yanmega then shot a multiple light cyan discs at Lickitung.
"Lickitung hurry and dodge it" Ken said, rising his fist.
"Tung (Right)" Lickitung ran away from every disc that was thrown at him "Great my friend, now let's go with Blizzard" Ken said, smiling.
Lickitung release a icy blizzard towards Yanmega "I don't think so, Yanmega use Detect once more" Bugsy said, smirking.
Yanmega dodged once again "Oh not again" Ken said, gritting his teeth.
"Now let's go with Bug Buzz" Yanmega release a red sound wave at Lickitung and hits.
"Lickitung" Ken said in fear then noticed that Yanmega's body glow light blue "Speed Boost has been activated" He then had a thought "Wait a minute! Lickitung return!" Ken recalls Lickitung back.
"So you deciding on switching your Lickitung" Bugsy said, smirking.
"Yep now it's time to fight speed with speed" Ken said then looked at Wormmon "Are you ready Wormmon?" he asked the bug digimon.
"Absolutely Ken" Wormmon said then entered the battlefield.
"Awesome, I've never seen a bug pokemon like that before" Bugsy said with amazed look.
"Now Wormmon use Take Down!" Ken said, pointing forward.
Wormmon charges at Yanmega in a orange aura and hits directly in the Orge Dart's gut "A Direct hit!" Ash said, smiling.
"Alright!" Daisuke said, rising his fist.
"That Wormmon is fast, but that's okay Yanmega use Air Slash!" Bugsy rising his fist.
Yanmega releases multiple cyan discs at Wormmon "Dodge it Wormmon!" Ken said, smirking.
Wormmon dodges the discs at a blind pace getting looks of shock from Yanmega and Bugsy "Your not the only one who has a pokemon with Speed Boost, Bugsy" Ken said,smiling.
"That's right Wormmon's special ability is Speed Boost" Daisuke said.
"So Ken's idea is to fight Speed Boost with Speed Boost" May realized.
"Wow if that keeps up the battle will go for a long one" Sora pointed out.
Wormmon got away from the last disc "Now Sludge Bomb!" Ken said, pointing forward.
Wormmon shot a purple blob at Yanmega "I don't think so, Yanmega Detect!" Bugsy said, smirking.
Yanmega's eyes glow green then move away from the sludge bomb "Now use Bug Buzz"
"Wormmon counter back with your Bug Buzz!" Ken said, thrusting his fist forward.
Both Pokemon released a red sound wave as both attacks collide with each pushing back and forth with neither stopping until the attacks cause an explosion as smoke brew in the battlefield.
"Wormmon use the smoke to your advantage and use Take Down!" Ken said, pointing forward.
"You got it!" Wormmon rocket straight through the smoke, getting Yanmega's attention "Yanmega stay calm and use Air Slash" Bugsy said.
Yanmega is about to his move, but at that moment he does, Wormmon comes out of the smoke and smacks directly into his gut.
"*Gasp*" Bugsy gasped in shock.
"Another critical hit!" Daisuke said, smiling.
"Now Wormmon finish him with Sludge Bomb!" Ken shouted.
Wormmon moved up to Yanmega's face then shot multiple sludge bombs sending the Orge dart pokemon crashing down to the ground hard as smoke brew while Worm digimon lands on the ground safely.
"Yanmega!" Bugsy said in fear as the smoke subsided with Yanmega on the ground and was knocked out cold.
"Yanmega is unable to battle, Wormmon wins" The ref said, turning to Ken.
"Yes!" Ken said, happily then Wormmon walked up to him with both ended in a hug "You were great Wormmon".
"Thanks I was great wasn't I" Wormmon asked while smiling.
Everyone was rooting for the Duo of Kindness, then Bugsy took out Yanmega's Pokeball "Thanks so much for your hard work Yanmega, take a good rest" he said recalling him back then turn his attention to Ken "Your Wormmon is pretty impressive, I was surprise how you guys use the smoke to your advantage" He pointed out.
"Thanks Bugsy, Sometimes when things come to an idea and we go for it" Ken said.
Bugsy takes out another pokeball "Well that's all behind now my friend, let's see if you can handle Ariados" Bugsy calls out his second pokemon.
"Sssssssssssssssppppppppp" Ariados hissed.
Ken turned serious "Now it's Ariados huh?" He asked then he looked down at Wormmon "Wormmon can you still battle?".
"Absolutely Ken" Wormmon nodded.
The ref nodded his head "Round Two Begin!" he shouted rising both hands.
"Wormmon use Sludge Bomb!" Ken said thrusting his hand forward.
"Ariados counter back with your Sludge Bomb" Bugsy commanded.
Both Ariados and Wormmon shot multiple blobs at one another with both attacks collide causing an explosion.
"Their even" Ash said.
"Not quiet my friend" Bugsy said, smirking getting Ken confused as one of Ariados's sludge bombs passed back and hit Wormmon.
"Hang in there Wormmon, use String Shot to slow Ariados down" Ken shouted.
Wormmon shot a silky string at Ariados "Ariados use Psychic" Bugsy said pointing forward.
Eyes glow light blue then cloaks around the string shot, stopping it's tracks "What the!?" Ken gawked in shock.
"Now send it back at Wormmon" Bugsy said, rising his fist.
Ariados sends the String Shot back at Wormmon leaving him completely wrapped in.
"Oh no Wormmon trapped" Taichi said, worried.
Wormmon struggles to break free but no luck "Alright Ariados use Cross Poison!" Ariados cross his fore arms into a X as purple X mark is formed then was shot at Wormmon and hits causing a small explosion.
"Oh no Wormmon's hit!" Hikari said in fear.
As the smoke subsided with Wormmon up with multiple bruises and was free from the string shot getting looks of surprises from the others while Ken smiled.
"Ariados' Cross Poison helped Wormmon get free from the String Shot" Gatomon pointed out.
Ken noticed that Wormmon is tiring out "Wormmon come back" he calls out getting the Worm Digimon's attention as he returns back "You did great I'll handle from here".
Wormmon nodded his head "Well okay Ken" he said, smiling.
Ken smiled back then turn his attention back to Bugsy and Ariados and took out his pokeball "Lickitung I need you again my friend" he calls back out the Licking Pokemon.
"Tunnng"
"So it's Lickitung again, Ariados use Cross Poison" Bugsy said, pointing forward.
Ariados shot a purple X mark at Lickitung with the young normal type standing calmly "Lickitung counter back with Aqua Tail" Ken commanded.
Lickitung shot the swirling water at the Cross Poison with both attacks canceling each other out "Now use Lick" Lickitung extends his tongue towards Ariados and slobs him making Ariados has spiraling eyes.
"Ariados hang in there" Bugsy calls out Ariados as it regain it's momentum but happens next is that static begins to appear around him "Oh no, not that!" Bugsy said in fear.
"Ariados is paralyzed!?" Sora gawked.
"Oh yeah!" Ken said, happily.
"That's right, Lick is a ghost type move and sometimes causes an opponent to become paralyze" Brock explained.
"Now Lickitung Stomp!" Ken said pointing forward.
Lickitung jumped high in the air then hurls straight down with his left foot extended down "Ariados you gotta get out of there" Bugsy tries to warn Ariados but the paralysis immobilized him as Lickitung makes contact as smoke brews "Ariados no!".
As the smoke subsided with Lickitung standing away from Ariados while he is on the ground and was knocked out cold.
"Ariados is unable to battle, Lickitung wins" The ref said, turning to Ken.
"Alright the two wins in a row" Ken said, rising his fist.
"Lickiiiii (Yayyyyyy)" Lickitung said, happily while dancing.
"That was a great match" Ash smiled.
"Now Bugsy has one pokemon left" Daisuke said, crossing his arms.
"Your great Ken, you've put a lot teamwork and bond with you and your pokemon, but now it's time to put to a higher level, I choose you Heracross!" Bugsy calls out his Single Horn Pokemon.
"Herrraaacrosss" Heracross got into his battle position.
Everyone looked the battle very intense.
"There's no doubt that his Heracross is strong, top of all that Lickitung is at a disadvantage knowing that Heracross is part fighting type, but I believe in Lickitung" Ken throught to himself then came back to reality "Lickitung use Aqua Tail!" he shouted.
Lickitung's tail is cloaked in water veil as he spins around then hurl the swirling water at Heracross only for Ken to see Bugsy and Heracross not moving an inch getting him very confused.
"Why won't Heracross move?" Dawn wondered.
"Piplup (What the)" said a confused Piplup.
Bugsy smirked while his eyes were closed "Heracross Close Combat" He said.
Heracross charges at the swirling water and punches through it "WHAT!?" Ken gawked with Lickitung completely shock then Heracross flew straight towards him and delivery multiple punches and kicks then uppercuts Lickitung sending him flying in the air then crashing to ground hard.
"LICKITUNG!" Ken shouted with the others completely shock as the smoke subsided with Lickitung completely knocked out cold.
"Lickitung is unable to battle, Heracross is the winner" The ref said, turning to Bugsy.
"Oh Lickitung" Ken ran to the injured Licking pokemon "Are you okay?" he asked while holding him up.
Lickitung looked at him weakly then slobs him making him giggle "Your the best, take a good rest" He said recalling him back as he returns to his side of the battlefield.
"Awesome Heracross" Bugsy commented the Single horn pokemon.
"Heracross (Thank you)" Heracross said, smiling.
"I can't believe how Heracross took out Lickitung with one hit" Daisuke said in shock.
"Lickitung was at a complete disadvantage, since Normal type are vulnerable against Fighting types like Heracross" Brock pointed out.
"No need to worry Ken will win this guys" Daisuke said looking at the gang with a serious look.
Ken looked at Bugsy then nodded his head then crouched down to Wormmon "Wormmon I know your still worn out, so don't push to much okay?" He asked, petting his head.
"Don't worry Ken I'll be fine" Wormmon said with a serious face then enter the battlefield.
"Heracross (Get ready my friend)" Heracross said, getting into fighting position.
"Ready and waiting" Wormmon smirked.
"Round 3..BEGIN!" The ref shouted rising both hands.
"Heracross Close Combat!" Bugsy said, pointing forward.
Heracross flies towards Wormmon "Wormmon String Shot now" Ken said, pointing back.
Wormmon shot the tread at Heracross's left foot making him stick to the ground "Gotcha!" Ken said, smirking.
"No chance, Heracross go!" Bugsy said, smirking.
Heracross breaks the tread off his foot then charges straight toward Wormmon "Dodge it Wormmon!" Ken said shifting his right arm.
Wormmon sweeps to the left side away from Heracross "Now use Sludge Bomb" Wormmon turn towards the Single Horn Pokemon and shot multiple purple blobs and hits.
"Heracross Stone Edge!" Bugsy said, swifting his left arm.
A double ring appears around Heracross as sharp stones are formed then was launched towards Wormmon and hits directly at him "Ahhhhhhhh!" Wormmon shouted in pain.
"Oh no!" Ken shouted in fear.
"That was super effective!" Daisuke in a worried tone.
"Now Let's go with Megahorn" Bugsy said, crossing his arms.
"Counter back with Take Down" Ken said, pointing forward.
Heracross's horn glows in crystal yellow and Wormmon's body is cloaked in light orange aura with both pokemon rockets towards each other then collides with both sides pushes back and forth but Wormmon started to hold back.
"Wormmon what's wrong?" Ken asked in great concern.
"Wormmon is tiring out!" May shouted out to the digidestined of Kindness.
Heracross smirked then knocks Wormmon back "Sorry to do this Ken but Heracross Stone Edge" Bugsy said closing his eyes.
Sharp stones were forms and was launched at the Worm Digimon only for him to look with a shocking expression and took take a full blow of attack as smoke erupts on the battlefield.
"Oh no Wormmon!" said a stunned Ken as the smoke subsided with Wormmon in multiple bruises while he was out cold.
"Wormmon is unable to battle, Heracross wins" The ref said, turning to Ken.
Ken ran towards the Worm Digimon and picked him up "Wormmon are you okay?" He asked.
Wormmon looked up "I'm peachy" He said weakly.
"You did great my friend, don't worry we'll win this" Ken said, while walking to the gang.
"Don't worry Ken I'll take care of him" Daisuke said, taking Wormmon.
"Thank you bro" Ken said, smiling then went back to the field.
"So now it's the final round, get ready for this Heracross" Bugsy said, smiling.
"Hera (Right!)" Heracross said.
Ken closed his eyes then took out another pokeball and looked at it "It's time, Chimchar come on out!" He calls out his ace.
"Chimcha!" Chimchar growled.
"He finally going to use his true weapon" Dawn said, while holding Piplup.
The ref looked at both sides and nodded his head "Alright the final round is near, and…..BEGIN!" He shouted, rising both hands.
"Chimchar use Heat Wave!" Ken said, thrusting his fist forward.
Chimchar swift his head back then forward releasing a wind of powerful flames at Heracross "Heracross move away quick!" Bugsy said, rising his fist.
Heracross dodge away from the flames "Now use Megahorn" Horn glows crystal yellow and he rockets straight towards Chimchar.
"Chimchar counter with Shadow Claw" Ken said thrusting his hand forward.
Both of Chimchar's hands are cloaked in a shadow aura with both pokemon colliding towards causing a small explosion separating each other.
"Now Chimchar use the trees to confuse Heracross" Ken said pointing towards the trees.
"Chim(Okay)" Chimchar nodded then jumped on the trees and use he's great skill by jumping every branch and fast pace.
"Wow Chimchar is moving quick" Hikari said, trying to keep her eyes on Chimchar's movements.
"Amazing!" Gatomon said while looking.
"After being surrounded by trees Chimchar is not easy to hit" Brock pointed out while smiling.
Heracross looks back and forth to keep his eyes on Chimchar "Heracross just relax and try to sense Chimchar's movements" Bugsy said.
"Heracross (You got it)" Heracross nodded then closed his eyes as the shadow image of Chimchar was movement closer and closer "Now use Stone Edge!" Bugsy commanded.
Sharp Stones were formed and was fired at 30 degrees where Chimchar landed on the tree and that exact time and hits.
"CHAAAAAA (Owwwwww!)" Chimchar shouted in pain.
"*Gasp*" Ken gasped in shock.
"Oh no!" Daisuke said in fear.
"Now use Close Combat" Bugsy said pointing forward.
Heracross flew towards Chimchar then throw multiple punches and Kicks sending the little fire type flying to the ground and crashes.
"Chimchar!" Ken said in complete shock as smoke subsided with Chimchar getting up with multiple bruises.
"Chiiimmmchaaaa (Not done yeeeeeet)" Chimchar said, groaning in pain then laid on the ground starting to relax as a mystic aura around him was formed after a moment he got up was ready "Chimcha (Hey I feel better!)" Chimchar said flipping around.
"Chimchar that was great you just learned Slack Off!" Ken said, happily.
"Talk about a lucky move" said a surprised Bugsy.
"Slack off is move that heals your pokemon's energy" Brock explained.
"Go get em Chimchar" Ash shouted.
"Pika Pika (Win Win!)" Pikachu roared.
"You may have learned a new move that doesn't mean your gonna win, Heracross Close Combat" Bugsy said pointing forward.
Heracross charges towards Chimchar while Ken gritted his teeth "Now what can I do, if Heracross can determine where Chimchar is then…..wait a minute I got an idea" Ken thought to himself then smirked "Chimchar jump on the trees again" he shouted to the fire monkey.
Chimchar turned and looked at Ken then realize his idea getting a nod from the little fire as he begin to jump on the trees again.
"That's a bad choice Heracross, focus on Chimchar's movements" Bugsy said, while grinning.
Heracross begins to lock on Chimchar's position "We got you!" Ken said, smiling getting the purple hair gym leader confused "Chimchar jump high into the air".
"Chimchaaaa" Chimchar rocket straight into the air "Now point your body straight down!" Ken shouted.
Chimchar dives down while spinning like a top getting look of shock from the others.
"I don't think so Heracross Megahorn!" Bugsy said thrusting his fist forward.
"Chimchar do a Tornado Heat Wave!" Ken said rising his fist.
Chimchar release the wind of intense flames as it swirls around like a tornado which causes more power to boost as it hits Heracross stopping his move "No way!" Bugsy said in shock.
The Heat wave was stopped with Heracross burnt was barely conscious "Now Chimchar Blaze Kick!" Ken said, pointing forward.
Legs cloaked in flames as Chimchar kicks Heracross twice making him fly towards a tree and crashed on the ground and was knocked out cold.
"Herrrrrraaaa" Heracross groaned in pain.
"Heracross" Bugsy said in shock.
"Heracross is unable to battle, Chimchar is the winner so the match goes to the challenger Ken Ichijo" The ref said turning to Ken.
"We did it Chimchar! Haahahahaha" Ken shouted happily.
"Chimmmmcha!" Chimchar said while running to Ken with both ended in a hug.
"Yeah Alright!" Daisuke shouted rising up.
"Way a go you guys" Ash said, happily.
Veemon, Wormmon and Pikachu were jumping at Ken's victory while others were rooting.
Bugsy recalls Heracross back to his pokeball "Thank you my friend you were great" He said then walk toward Ken "Ken I want to thank you for a great match, your bond with your pokemon is incredible, as proof that you beaten me I present you this Hive Badge" Bugsy said, revealing the badge.
"Wow thanks so much" Ken said taking the badge "We shown the gift of Kindness and we earned the Hive Badge!" he shouted rising the badge in the air.
"Hooray!"

"Lickiiiiii!"

The final match is at last, Bugsy is on the left side while Taichi along with Agumon is on the right side, the gang is at the stand as the ref looks at both sides and nodded his head "Alright the final match, we have Bugsy the gym leader going against the challenger Taichi Yagami. The Rules are the same, both side will use three pokemon and the match is over when one's sides three pokemon are unable to continue, furthermore only the challenger may substitute pokemon, may the trainers bring out their pokemon" The ref said to both sides.
"Alright Forrestress I choose you" Bugsy calls out his bagworm pokemon.
"Maaapaaaaa"
"So He's starting out with his Fortresses, alright then" Taichi turns to Agumon "Agumon your up bud" he said to the orange T-rex.
"Ready and Waiting" Agumon said, smirking then entered the battlefield.
"Taichi why are you already starting off with Agumon?" Hikari asked her brother.
"If big brother get beaten then it's gonna be difficult for you" Gatomon pointed out (A/N: Hey if Taichi and Hikari are brothers and sisters then it's just the same for Agumon and Gatomon).
"Don't worry we'll be fine" Taichi said, smiling.
"Yeah you can count on it" Agumon said, rising his left claw.
"Well aren't you guys so confident" Bugsy said, smirking.
"Alright let the final match…..BEGIN!" The ref shouted.
Battle Scene: Taichi and Agumon vs. Bugsy and Forrestress
"Agumon use Flamethrower!" Taichi said, pointing forward.
"Right!" Agumon pulled his head back while charging up his flamethrower then shot his head forward releasing the wave of intense flames at Forrestress.
"That's no surprise, Forrestress use Protect!" Bugsy said pointing forward.
Forrestress creates a protected shield as the flamethrower hits it's mark leaving Forrestress safe from the attack "Now let's go with Spikes" Forrestress spins as multiple red needles flew towards Taichi's side of the field into the ground.
"Uh oh" Daisuke said, worried.
"So Forrestress had Spikes we better not them set up more traps, Agumon use Double Kick!" Taichi pointed forward.
Agumon charges forward "Forrestress use Rapid Spin!" Bugsy said, smirking.
As Agumon makes the first kick, Forrestress begins to spin rapidly which made Agumon get caught "Whoaaaaaaa Whoaaaaaa Whoaaaaaaa" he shouted then was fling into the air.
"He use Rapid Spin as a defense" said a surprised Dawn.
"Now use Zap Cannon!" Forrestress fires a yellow electric orb at Agumon while he was up in the air"Agumon heads up" Taichi shouted to the T-Rex digimon.
Agumon snapped out of it then dodged the Zap Cannon "Great now! Flamethrower!" Taichi said, smirking.
"Take this" Agumon releases the flames at Forrestress "Forrestress use Rapid spin" Bugsy said, crossing his arms.
Forrestress spins towards the flamethrower and flews through it without taking any damage, this gotten the gang completely shock as Forrestress got close to Agumon.
"I'm afraid to do this but Forrestress use Explosion!" Bugsy said, pointing forward.
"WHAT!?" Taichi gawked.
Forrestress begins to glow making Agumon looked at him with complete shock "Shiiiiiiiiiiiiitttt!" he shouted as the Bagworm pokemon explodes in huge volume as smoke brews across the field around everyone.
"AGUMON!" Taichi shouted in fear.
"Noooooo!" Biyomon shouted, covering her mouth as both Agumon and Forrestress crashed on the ground and was knocked out cold.
"Both Agumon and Forrestress are unable to battle" The ref said, rising both hands.
"What a powerful and dangerous move" Daisuke said in shock.
"Explosion is the most powerful move that also cuts the opponents defense in half, however the user faints after using it" Brock explained.
"Bugsy must have thought that using that move would have his pokemon in a clear against no fire types" Ash believed.
"Pikachu Pika (There's no doubt about it)" Pikachu nodded in agreeing.
"That must be it" Dawn said, agreeing.
Taichi ran to T-rex digimon and pick him up "Agumon oh my god are you okay?" He asked in a very worried tone.
Agumon looked at him weakly and smiled "Don't worry about it, I'll be fine" He said, with a weak smirk.
"Thank goodness, thanks a lot buddy you did awesome" Taichi said, while lifting him up then walked to Sora "Sora please watch out Agumon for me?" he asked the digidestined of Love.
Bugsy recalls Forrestress back to his pokeball "Forrestress you were great thank you so much" He said,smiling.
"I'd love to" Sora said taking Agumon from Taichi then Biyomon placed her hand on the T-Rex's face "Agumon you okay?" she asked in concerned.
Agumon smiled, nodding his head making the fire bird digimon sigh in relef then hugged him.
Taichi smiled then walked back to the battlefield "Taichi!" he turned around and looked at Sora "Win this, you understand?" She asked, while smirking.
He looked at her for a moment then nodded his head with a wide grin on his face "You got it" he said then took out another pokeball "Bulbasaur let's go!" he calls out his grass type starter.
"Bulbasaur!" Bulbasaur gotten his position then the spikes's effect was activated and explodes around him making him groaned in pain.
"Damn it the Spikes" Taichi growled.
"He's using a grass type, that's a bad choice but he'll learn the hard way" Bugsy said taking out another pokeball "I choose you Butterfree" he calls out his bug/flying pokemon.
"Freeeeeeeee!"
"This can be a tough one" May said.
"Right I remember that Butterfree can use Quiver Dance and has type advantage" Ash pointed out.
"Don't worry guys Taichi can handle this" Sora said turning her attention to them.
The ref looked both sides then nodded his head "Alright round 2…being!" He shouted rising both hands.
"Bulbasaur use Sludge Bomb!" Taichi said, smirking.
"Bulba (Right!)" Bulbasaur shot a barrage of purple blobs at Butterfree "Butterfree use Quiver Dance!" Bugsy said, thrusting his hand forward.
Butterfree performs a beautiful mystic dance increasing her Speed, , and Sp. Atk as the barrage of Sludge bombs lands it mark but didn't do much damage to the Butterfly Pokemon.
"Oh man" Taichi said, gritting his teeth.
"Bulbasaur (That's not good)" said a surprised Bulbasaur.
"Now Butterfree is more faster, stronger and bulkier at the same time" Hikari pointed out.
"In that case we'll put it to sleep, Bulbasaur use Sleep Powder" Taichi said, rising his hand.
Bulbasaur release a light blue powder "Whirlwind it away then use Psybeam!".
Butterfree flap her wings blowing away the sleep powder then fires a rainbow beam at Bulbasaur and hits directly in his face "Bulbaaaaa(Ahhhhhh!)" Bulbasaur shouted in pain.
"A direct hit!" said a shocked Daisuke.
"And a super effective move" Ash added in.
"Now let's go with Hidden Power" Butterfree is cloaked in a white aura as multiple orbs appear around her and was launched at Bulbasaur and hits.
"Bulbasaur oh no!" Taichi shouted in fear.
Bulbasaur struggles to get up then Taichi take out his pokeball "Bulbasaur return for now" he said recalling his friend.
Hikari signed in relief "That was a close call" she said.
"But now Taichi only has one pokemon left that's in full health, it's gonna be a tough chance for him to win" Brock pointed out.
Taichi looked at Butterfree "That Butterfree is really fast, thanks to that Quiver Dance, I know that I'm a tough bind right now but I believe in my pokemon" He thought to himself then took out another pokeball "Now it's time for my secret weapon, Aron let's go!" Taichi calls out his pokemon.
"Arrrroonnn" then he took damage from the spikes.
"Those Spikes are really gonna be a situation every time Taichi switches out" May said, folding her hands.
"Taichi has a big advantage against Butterfree due to the face that Aron's Rock moves are a four times weakness to a Bug/Flying type" Ash pointed out.
"Now let's continue, round 3 begin!" The ref shouted.
"Aron let's begin with Rock Polish!" Taichi said, rising his fist.
Aron's body glows in blue sparks "So he's using Rock Polish to even up my Butterfree's speed" Bugsy said, smirking.
"Now use Stone Edge" Aron's body is surrounded by sharp stones and was hurled at Butterfree "We don't think so, Butterfree use Hidden Power!" Bugsy pointed forward.
Multiple white orbs were launched towards the sharp stones causing a big explosion to brew in the area "Now use Iron Head!" Taichi commanded.
Aron rockets towards the smoke then was cloaked in a crystal white aura then pops out and smacks into Butterfree.
"No way" Bugsy said in shock.
"Now finish it with Stone Edge" Aron fires the sharp stones at Butterfree and hits causing smoke to brew as the Butterfly pokemon crashes to the ground and was knocked out cold.
"Butterfree is unable to battle, Aron wins" The ref said turning to Taichi.
"Alright they did it!" Daisuke said, rising both fists.
"That's awesome I was worried for a moment" Veemon sighed.
"Yes but now it's time for Bugsy's last pokemon" Brock reminded.
"And we know who it is" Sora added in.
Bugsy recalls Butterfree back and smiled then turned his attention to Taichi "Your really go Taichi, your strategy was off at first but then you can up with surprise move but now it's time to go all out, come on out Scizor!" Bugsy calls out his strongest pokemon.
"Scizor!" Scizor crosses his arms.
"This is it, there's no doubt that Scizor is very powerful but we can do this! With the power of Courage" Taichi thought to himself then focused on the match "Aron use Rock Polish!" He said.
Blue sparkes cloaked around Aron's body "Now use Stone Edge!" Aron then formed sharp stones and hurled towards Scizor.
"Scizor Double Team!" Bugsy commanded.
Scizor formed copies of himself as the stone edge passed each and every one but neither was the real one getting Taichi and Aron confused.
"Wait where's the real Scizor?" Taichi asked while Aron looks around "Scizor use Metal Claw" Scizor appears behind Aron and smacks down on his head with his iron pincers then jumped back to Bugsy.
"Aron!" Taichi said in shock.
Aron groaned in pain as he got up and shook off the damage "Hang in there Aron and use Dragon Rush!" Taichi said, pointing forward.
"Wait Taichi! Dragon type moves are not very effective on Bug/Steel like Scizor!" Ash shouted to the digidestined of Courage.
"That's a bad decision, Scizor use Double team again!" Bugsy said, rising his fist.
Scizor performed multiple copies of himself once again allowing Aron to miss his target "Aron turn around and use Stone Edge!" Taichi shifting his left arm.
Aron turned around and fired the sharp stones at Scizor's back making him shout in pain "Bull's eye!" Brock said, smiling.
"And with a lot of damage" Dawn added in.
"Let's keep it up with Iron Head!"
Surrounded in a crystal white aura, Aron leaped into the air then dives towards Scizor "Scizor catch that Aron!" Bugsy shouted.
Scizor looked up and grab Aron by the head stopping the attack leading to completely shocking everyone.
"Now slam him down to the ground" Bugsy said pointing down.
Scizor swiftly slams Aron down hard making the little steel type shout in pain "Aron!" Taichi shouted.
"Now Scizor let's show a little surprise, use Brick Break!" Bugsy said, smirking.
"You gotta be kidding me!" said a stunned Taichi.
Scizor's pincer glow in a white light then chops onto Aron causing smoke to brew, then after a moment the smoke subsided with Aron knocked out cold.
"Aron is unable to battle, Scizor is the winner" The ref said, turning to Bugsy.
"Who knew that Scizor would use Brick Break" Dawn gasped.
Taichi recalls Aron and smiled happily for his great effort then took out Bulbasaur's pokeball "I know you've taken a lot of damage, but right now I need you Bulbasaur I believe in you!" Taichi calls out his Seed Pokemon.
"Bulbasaur" Bulbasaur shouted then started to pant.
"This bad Bulbasaur still hasn't recover from the last battle" Hikari said in a worried tone.
"That's not good" Gatomon frowned.
"Not only that Bulbasaur can't use Sludge Bomb due to the fact Scizor is part Steel type and Steel type are immune to poison type moves and Grass type moves have hardly any effect." Brock pointed out.
"Come on Taichi and Bulbasaur you can do it!" Sora shouted out to them.
The ref looked at both sides and nodded his head "The final round and…..Begin!" He shouted rising his hands.
"Bulbasaur use Energy Ball!" Taichi said, pointing forward.
Bulbasaur shot the green orb at Scizor "Scizor dodge it and use Metal Claw" Bugsy said, shifting his right arm.
Scizor moved away from the green orb then smacks Bulbasaur with his iron claws sending him rolling back to Taichi.
"Bulbasaur!" Taichi said in fear as Bulbasaur manages to get up.
"Now let's go with Double team" Scizor made duplicates of himself as they move around in a circle with Bulbasaur in the center completely confusing the little grass type.
"Bulbasaur stay calm and use Razor Leaf on all of them" Taichi said, thrusting his fist forward.
Bulbasaur scatters the sharp leafs at every copy of Scizor only to see that neither was the real one until Scizor appear behind him "Break Brick!" Bulbasaur turns around only to see Scizor chops him to the ground making him shouted in pain.
Everyone gasped in shock but not as worst as Taichi as they see Bulbasaur barely stands up.
"Your Bulbasaur is tough Taichi, but it's no point of continuing if he doesn't have any strength left" Bugsy said, crossing his arms while closing his eyes.
"Your wrong" Bugsy shot his eyes wide open as Taichi looked at him very serious "I know that Bulbasaur can do it, I saw it when I first met him when I started my journey with my friends, I know that he wants to win this and I'm with him all the way, same with Agumon and Aron…We will show you the power of Courage!" Taichi shouted.
Bulbasaur heard those words and with the power of Courage, he stood up "Bulbbbbaaaaaaaaasaurrrrrrr!" He hollered then he started to glow in a light blue aura.
"What's happening to Bulbasaur?" Taichi gazed what's happening.
"Could it be?" Bugsy said in shock.
Bulbasaur begins to grow in a few feet as the bulb on his back starts to grow large into a small bud, sharp teeth were formed then after a few seconds the light bursted out.
"Ivysauurrrrrrr!" Ivysaur roared across the field.
"No way!" Daisuke said in amazement.
"Bulbasaur evolved into Ivysaur!" Ash said, happily.
"Pikachu (Alright!)" Pikachu shouted happily.
Taichi looked at his newly evolved pokemon and smiled happily then takes out his pokedex
Pokemon Analyze (Dexter's Voice)
Ivysaur the Seed Pokemon and the evolve form of Bulbasaur. The bud on it's back grow large. To support its weight, Ivysaur's legs and trunk grow thick and strong. If it starts spending more time lying in the sunlight, it's a sign that the bud will bloom into a large flower soon.
"Bulbasaur reach deeply into Taichi's words and gained it new powers, the power of Courage has opened right in front of our eyes" Sora pointed out.
"Go Ivysaur!" Hikari rooted happily.
"Take em down!" Agumon said, waving his hand.
"Wow you've learned two new moves well let's check it out but let's show them what the power of Courage can do" Taichi said looking the Seed Pokemon.
"Saur (Right!)" Ivysaur nodded while grinning then turn to Scizor as he get into his fighting position.
"Scizor, Bulbasaur has evolved so now we got wrap this up at any way, use Metal Claw" Bugsy said pointing forward.
Scizor charges with his iron pincers while Ivysaur stand his ground "Now let's show em your Energy Ball" Taichi said, rising his fist.
Ivysaur created two large energy balls and shot at Scizor and hits making the Pincer pokemon crashed to the ground.
"What power!" Bugsy said in shock.
Taichi smirked then felt the connection between Ivysaur making him nodded his head "Alright Ivysaur let's try out your new moves use Hidden Power!" he said, shifting his left arm.
Ivysaur's body is cloaked in a white aura as multiple green orbs are formed then was shot a Scizor and hits.
"Scizzzzorrrrr" Scizor groaned in pain.
"Scizor!" Bugsy said in fear.
"That incredible Ivysaur learned Hidden Power" May said, smiling.
"We're not done yet, Scizor let's show them your Giga Impact!" Bugsy said pointing forward.
Ivysaur turned to Taichi and smirked, the digidestined of Courage looked at him then smiled "Alright then Ivysaur let's try out your last new move, begin charging up" Taichi said pointing towards the sun.
Ivysaur begins to charge up energy from the sun as Scizor charges forward while being cloaked in a purple aura with yellow streaks.
"Wait is Ivysaur planning on using what I think he is" Daisuke asked everyone.
"Yeah I think Ivysaur is using Solarbeam" Ash said, rising up.
Scizor is coming close as Ivysaur and Taichi stay calm as they could until Ivysaur is fully charged up.
"Alright Ivysaur! SOLARBEAM AT FULL POWER!" Taichi hollered.
"SAURRRRRRR!" Ivysaur shot the yellow beam directly at Scizor with the shadow Image of him and Taichi roaring as the attack hits Scizor causing a huge flash to brew across the field with everyone blocking the wind with the Pincer pokemon flying back and crashed onto the ground.
"Scizor!" Bugsy said in fear as Scizor tries to get up but crashed down to ground and was knocked out cold.
"Scizor is unable to battle, Ivysaur is the winner so the match goes to the challenger Taichi Yagami!" The ref shouted turning to the Digidestined of Courage.
Taichi stood there completely shock then smiled happily "We did it! We did it Ivysaur hahahahahaha!" He shouted while running to the Seed pokemon only for Ivysaur to do the same as they ended in a hug.
Everyone was rooting like crazy at Taichi's amazing victory then Sora, Agumon and Biyomon ran to Taichi.
"You did it Taichi!" Sora said, placing her arms around Taichi's neck.
"Your the best Ivysaur!" Agumon said with all three in group hug.
"Ivysaur Saur (Thanks you guys)" Ivysaur said, smiling.
Taichi looked at Sora with her looking back "Thanks for supporting me" he whisper to her.
Sora smiled then a memory of their moment made them blush then they saw Bugsy walked toward them and separated "Taichi that was great battle, Courage is something I want to think about from here on out, I give you this badge now only cause you beat me, but helped me learn what Courage can do" Bugsy said presenting the Hive Badge.
"Bugsy it's honor and thank you so much my friend" Taichi said taking the badge "The power of Courage has given me the Hive Badge!" He shouted rising the badge in the air.
"Yahooo!"
"Ivysaur!"
"Aronnnnn!"
Outside of the Azela Gym
Everyone was outside with Bugsy standing behind the gym as the gang was about to take their leave.
"So now you guys have your second badge, you know where your next gym located at?" Bugsy asked
"Yeah Goldenrod City" Brock said, crossing his arms.
"So that's our next destination" Daisuke said nodding his head.
Ash turns to May "They also hosting a contest there as well, May get ready for it" he said to the princess of Hoenn.
May gave wide smirk "You better believe it! Watch out Goldenrod city because here I come!" she raising her fist in the air.
"Well guys I look forward to see you guys again, let's have a match next time" Bugsy said, smiling.
"You better believe it Bugsy" Taichi said, with both shook hands.
As Everyone has said their goodbyes to Bugsy, they close another chapter and now heading to their next destination Goldenrod City, where it holds onto May's first contest and the Guys third gym match.
