A/N: I know it's been years...so sorry. Here's a teaser chapter.

Cousins were yelling while others were trying to remain calm, still, when Chris entered with Mel they all became eerily quite. Wyatt and Rae moved around the perimeter of the space laying down crystals now that everyone was present.

Chris was rubbing Mel's back and she looked around until her eyes caught Rae. She strode toward her Queen and embraced her in a hug, the two women holding onto each other fiercely.

"It's going to be okay," Rae told Mel.

"That's supposed to be my line," Mel told her. "He's here for you. I'm just the one standing in his way."

"Hey Peanut Gallery, you wanna share with the rest of us," one of the twins shouted from the couch.

Turning away from Rae's embrace, Mel grabbed an ottoman and sat down. "I think everyone here is pretty much aware of the fact that Wyatt is the reincarnation of King Arthur and Rhiannon his Queen, the Lady Guinevere," she braced her hands in between her legs, tense from her encounter and more so from having to involve the family she had alienated by refusing to answer their questions previously. "In our past lives, Bianca and I served our Lady as her guardian and her sorceress, while Chris and Hank served Wyatt as his protector and sorcerer; like two sides of the same coin. Inverses, if you would."

"It makes sense," Phoebe's eldest daughter spoke. "Man and woman, duality. There's protection in that. Roman, Greek, Celtic and all other types of mythology often allude to Gods and Goddesses who would be served by a loyal protector and some sort of lover for emotional well-being. In this case the two main powers are protected from physical harm as well as magical."

Mel held onto her seat. "It was my duty in my past life to serve Rhiannon and I did. Fiercely. But there was a boy…I loved him and he did everything possible to make me think that he loved me, too."

"And this boy would be the same person who originally cursed Arthur and Gwen," Hank inferred.

"Yes. Mordred. He was determined to break Arthur's rule and reign over Camelot. He planned to usurp the thrown and claim the land for his own. You see, Camelot, like the Manor, was a sacred space and sat in the middle of one of the largest pentagrams to ever exist. He knew that if he could tap into its power that he could do anything he wanted."

"At the expense of every citizen of Camelot," Chris gathered.

Nodding, Mel stood up to move towards her brothers. "Yes. He thought he could be a supreme leader and he didn't care who was hurt in the process. But he was slick, and although we knew there was a traitor somewhere in court, no one knew it was Mordred. He was a dutiful knight and servant to the crown in all appearances."

The twins were at the edge of their seats. "If you didn't know he was the traitor," one twin started, "how did you figure it out?" the other twin finished.

Rae moved and put a hand on Mel's shoulder. Rubbing it, the two exchanged glances and Rae passed her to stand in the middle of the room. "I asked Mel to do something for me. Something I should have never asked her to do."
