Love Is Complicated
~Hinata and Kiba's POV~
"Lady Tsunade…there is something we should let you know about Temari." Said Hinata. "What about her. She's such a good shinobi in helping our village." Said Tsunade.
"Yes, she's been a good shinobi but we shouldn't let her get her ways." Said Kiba. "What do you mean her ways." Said Tsunade. "Well, she's trying to break Ino and Shikamaru up for her own use. But now since their engaged now, I believe she will still end up trying to do things her ways in breaking them up." Said Kiba.
Tsunade looks at Hinata and Kiba. She thinks about the situation at hand. "Fine…bring her here and I'll do what I can." Said Tsunade. "Hai." Said Hinata and Kiba.
Hinata and Kiba head towards the Inn where Temari is staying. Lady Tsunade contacts Gaara about Temari and about her being banned to come back in the Hidden Leaf Village.
Gaara apologizes for her actions and to let her do what she had to do. This will not hurt either side of the treaty they made.
~Temari's POV~
I woke up pissed today. For one I wasn't happy to see Hinata and Kiba at my Inn's door. Then the next thing I knew was that I am to report to the Hokage office.
"Report to duty, lady hokage." Said Temari unhappily. "Thank you for showing up Temari. There is something we must disgust." Said Tsunade.
"Hai. Whatever it is I'll do it for ya people." Said Temari. "Great, then sign these for us. You are banned to work under my control for now on. It's unacceptable for you to break up anybody's relationship in my village. Pack your bags and leave in an hour or else we will throw you out." Said Tsunade.
"What! But why…" Said Temari. "Because you went too far Temari. That's the only way I have left in order of keeping my people safe from any outsiders." Said Tsunade.
Temari signed the papers and packs up after heading back to the Inn. She looks around one last time and says goodbye to the place she loved the most about the Hidden Leaf village.
"Goodbye." Said Temari as she left the village for good.
~Ino and Shikamaru's POV~
"Good morning my fiancée." Said Shika. "Good morning to you too." Said Ino as she giggles. "What should we do today my love?" Asked Shika as he kisses her neck. "Why don't we talk about when we want the wedding to be?" Said Ino.
"Sure, whatever you'd like to do my love." Said Shika.
They got up and got dressed to head downstairs to see Kankuro and Aya. However, they weren't the only two there. Hinata and Kiba were there with them.
"Good morning to all of you this lovely morning." Said Ino. "Good morning Ino-chan. We came to give you some news." Said Hinata.
Ino looks skeptical towards Hinata about this so called news. Shikamaru looks at Kiba disbelieving as well.
"Don't worry, it's good news unless you'd don't wanna know." Said Kiba. "No, tell us this news please." Said Ino.
Aya sat with Ino, where Kankuro stood behind Aya and Shika behind Ino. Hinata sat down with Kiba behind her on the opposite side of the table.
"Well go on." Said Shikamaru. Kiba puts his hand on Hinata's shoulder to encourage her. "It's about Temari. We told the Hokage about what she's been doing towards you guys." Said Hinata.
"And what happened." Said Aya. "She's going to be banned for good." Said Kiba. "What you mean by banned for good." Said Kankuro. "Wait, you mean from the hidden in the leaf village?" Said Ino feeling happy.
"Yes. That's what it means for her. She's no longer going to be bothering you guys any longer. I don't want any of my friends breaking up because of Kankuro's crazy ass sister." Said Kiba.
"I'm guessing something else happened at the wedding when we left." Said Shikamaru. "Yes, she was mad and started to disrespect us." Said Hinata.
"Well at least she's no longer going to be on the hunch for Shika anymore. I can respect what you guys did. Thank you, but was it really necessary to do something like that?" Said Ino.
"I do have to agree with Ino." Said Aya. "I don't see any other option. I mean she looks like she would kill you Ino." Said Kiba.
"True about that." Said Kankuro. "What you mean?" Said Ino. "What he meant was that, she would go as far as killing you to get to me." Said Shika.
After talking over about Temari, Ino had enough about her. Ino went upstairs frustrated with Aya and Hinata following her behind to talk about something else on her mind. Kiba and the other two boys chat up about Kankuro's love life.
~The Girls' POV~
"Ino-chan is there something else bothering you?" Asked Aya. "It's just…I never knew she wanted to go to the extremes for Shikamaru. Should I really be with him, now that I think about it?" Said Ino.
"Oh, Ino…don't be like that. Of course Shikamaru and you are going to be great for each other." Said Hinata. "Yeah, Ino, you're much better than Temari. Hell if I was a ninja I would totally kick her ass for you." Said Aya.
Ino giggles. "Thank you guys, but one more thing I'm having trouble with." Said Ino. "What's that?" Said Aya.
"Well, what should I do about the wedding? Any ideas?" Said Ino in a fit of laughter. Hinata and Aya look at Ino and joined in her fit of laughter.
~The Guys' POV~
"Come on guys. Stop making sex jokes about Aya and I." Said Kankuro. "What, you don't like that we committed to our girls and you'd can't because she may think you can't be the one." Said Kiba laughing.
"Shut up man! Not cool. Fine if you really like me to commit I will." Said Kankuro. "Wait are you serious." Said Shikamaru.
"Just install the girls will ya." Said Kankuro as he runs out of the house. "Holy shit he's serious." Said Kiba.
~Kankuro's POV~
Shit! I'm really going with this. Well I did tell them I would, but Aya…how she feels about this and about the pressure I was put under. Damn.
Kankuro walks into a nice jewelry store. "Hi, do you have something that's really expensive and that will blow my girlfriend's mind when I ask her to marry me?" Asked Kankuro towards the clerk.
"We do, sir. How much are you willing to spend on her?" Asked the clerk. "Somewhere between 12,000 and 17,000." Said Kankuro. "Wow, you must really love her that much, don't ya." Said the clerk. "Yes sir I do. She means more to me than anything." Said Kankuro.
As the clerk goes through his stock pile of rings to show Kankuro, Kankuro starts to worry about Aya back at home.
~Back at the house~
The girls come back down smiling and giggling to each other. "Where's Kankuro?" Asked Aya.
"Oh, he had something to do. He told us to let you know." Said Kiba with a wide grin on his face. "Oh." Said Aya worriedly. "Kiba…what's with the wide grin?" Said Hinata.
"Oh, it's nothing baby." Said Kiba. "Shika, what's wrong with you?" Asked Ino.
"Oh, it's nothing…just thinking how beautiful you look." Said Shika with a shocked expression still on his face.
The girls look at each other and start to think something's up.
~Back to Kankuro~
"I'll go with this one." Said Kankuro. "Wise choice, sir. I hope she says yes to you." Said the clerk. "Yeah, me too." Said Kankuro.
Kankuro runs back towards the house as soon as possible. When he comes back he hides the box behind him.
"Kankuro, where did you go?" Asked Aya worriedly. "Sorry baby…I had to run to a store." Said Kankuro.
"Really? I don't see anything." Said Aya as she crosses her arms.
"Aya…there's something I should of done for a while now…I guess…" Said Kankuro.
Hinata, Shikamaru, Ino, and Kiba walk in to watch Kankuro. Kankuro gets down on one knee. "Aya…I know we had our ups and downs and I pushed you in dating other guys which was a mistake on my behalf, but you mean so much to me…" Said Kankuro as he takes a breathe.
Aya was shocked and about to cry. "And will you do me the honor of marrying me?" Said Kankuro as he pulls out the box of a 14,000$ ring of a ruby heart shaped ring."
"Kankuro…i…Yes, Kankuro yes…I'll marry you!" Said Aya as she cries. Kankuro puts the ring on her and picks her up and kisses her. The others clapped happily and Ino and Hinata crying in joy.
"Congrats Kankuro…I didn't think you had the guts." Said Kiba. Aya looks at Kiba. "What you mean by that Kiba?" Asked Aya.
"What he means was…that I was pressured but really it wasn't meant to be me under pressure. I really do want to marry you Aya…it's just I had to get enough money to get you a special ring." Said Kankuro.
Aya looks at Kankuro to find the truth in his eyes. She smiles at him and looks at Kiba. She walks up to Kiba and slaps him but not too hard.
"Ow…What the hell!" Said Kiba. "Kiba…don't pressure Kankuro for now on ok." Said Aya. "Yeah, sure but I wasn't the only one." Said Kiba as he points towards Shika.
"Aya…wait…let me explain!" Said Shikamaru. "Shika…" Said Aya smiling evilly.
Ino and Hinata giggled and watched as Aya chases after Shikamaru around the house to give him what he deserved. Kankuro laughs but he's happy that she said yes.
Kankuro grabs Aya away from hitting Shikamaru before she could do so. He kisses her a very long passionate kiss.
After the havoc of this early afternoon, they all went out to lunch.
"So, Ino what are you planning on doing for your wedding?" Asked Hinata. "I'm not…I mean Shika and I aren't quite sure on it yet." Said Ino.
"Maybe we should plan a double wedding?" Said Aya to Ino. "That sounds like a good idea, but would it be too much?" Said Ino. "That's sure a lot of stuff to do you guys." Said Hinata.
"I think we can all manage it." Said Kankuro. "But wouldn't it take both of them out of the pictures?" Asked Hinata. "Yeah, Hinata is right on that part." Said Aya.
"Maybe we can still do it in a way. Like separate dates for the wedding and the party." Said Ino. "You mean one of us gets married first and the other after?" Asked Aya confused.
"Yeah, sort of I guess. More like one has to throw the perfect wedding for the other. It would be more fun and surprising the other." Said Ino.
"Oh, I know what you mean now! That would be awesome to do." Said Aya excitedly. "Are you sure you want to do this Aya?" Said Kankuro.
"Yeah, I know the perfect thing for Ino." Said Aya. "Huh, really now girly? Are we having a competition on who's best wedding party is?" Said Ino.
"Yeah, let's bet on it." Said Aya smiling evilly with Ino. Shikamaru and Kankuro look at each other nervously. Without words they tell each other good luck.
Kiba and Hinata look at each other worriedly about this so called competition. Hinata knows Ino and Aya, and they like to do these kind of things every once in a while.
"Alright I guess I should retell the rules again?" Said Hinata. "Rules?" Said all the boys.
"Yes, the ground rules for them." Said Hinata. "Since I'm not a ninja and Ino is. It's unfair for me to compete." Said Aya. "And well since I have to break it down to a minimum for Aya. I can only do what normal people can do." Said Ino.
"Confirming that we have a set of rules. The first one is that Ino isn't allowed to use any of her ninja powers or strength for the task." Said Hinata.
"The second one is that, I must also do everything that a normal person would do. Meaning that if Aya has to do so much work and then gets tired I have to stop as well, even if we only did one thing for the wedding." Said Ino.
"And the very last one is, that I must also be honest and not to use my powers of getting away with things for the sake of others." Said Aya blushing.
"Those are the rules." Said Hinata. The boys look at the girls shocked. "When have you guys done anything like this before?" Asked Shikamaru.
"Well there was one time, where Ino and Aya wanted to compete in a race of who could get the most flyers out for this old woman a long time ago." Said Hinata.
"Yeah, that was a long time ago. I believed I won that didn't I?" Said Ino. "Yes, you won." Said Aya. "Ino and Aya are really close, like sisters to be exact." Said Hinata giggling.
"So who should team up with whom?" Asked Aya.
"Let's see, let's put Hinata and Kiba into the hat to draw out, and whoever grabbed their names is on that team." Said Ino. "Shouldn't we have more people into this?" Said Shikamaru.
"I think the less people there is the less people to know about this so called competition." Said Hinata.
So Hinata and Kiba put their names on a paper napkin. They put it in a cup that didn't have anything in it to draw out the names. Aya went first to draw since she's an actual human with no powers and not able to cheat like Ino can at times.
Aya draws and picks Kiba. That only means that Ino got Hinata. Hinata clears her throat before speaking for another set of rules.
"I like to make another set of rules. The first one is that Kiba and I aren't allowed to tell the other about what they are doing for the other's wedding design. Second, we can't tell the other people who or what we are doing or words will fly. Third is that we should only allow the Hokage know about this and that she has the right to do or stop this in any form of the rumors." Said Hinata.
"What about dirty tricks?" Asked Kiba. "No dirty tricks what so ever." Said Hinata. "Now that we settled that we should notify the Hokage." Said Aya and Ino.
After they finished lunch, they all make their way towards the Hokage's office. They explain the situation and how the rules work and so on. Lady Hokage agreed to the terms and the conditions of the rules and allows them to do whatever they please.
The only thing they have left to do is set up dates for the wedding and then they can start the competition.
~Few days later~
Ino and Aya talked it out on what dates to settle for their wedding day. Ino's date will be in the fall of October 21, less than a year from now. Aya's is going to be a year, in summer of June 6.
"Alright team we have less than a year, so six months to get this wedding done and perfect." Said Aya to her team. Kiba raises his hand. "Yes, Kiba?" Said Aya. "Do you know what kind of wedding Ino likes?" Asked Kiba. "Of course I do. It's going to be her dream wedding that she always wanted." Said Aya.
Aya describes Ino's dream wedding towards her team. It all seems impossible but Aya knows that she can do it even if it means tiring herself out.
Ino on the other hand, is having some trouble of coming up with an idea for Aya's wedding day. Hinata and her are going through ideas and finding out what Aya would like. Ino isn't really worried but she will be when the time comes.
