BEFORE DEPARTURE
Optimus surveyed his remaining troops. Bumbleebee, Ratchet, and Sideswipe, with Lennox and the remaining NEST soldiers. Finally, the Vividteam, including Dr. Isshiki.
"Words cannot stress the importance of this mission," Optimus said. "Again let me explain our plan; The Wreckers will transport us back to the universe from which we came. The Wreckers will then retrieve the Engine from Cybertron."
"Can they really do that?" Amagi asked.
"I have faith in the Wreckers," Optimus said. "They have achieved far greater feats."
"And that's where the hard part comes in. We must protect the Wreckers as they ready the transportation of the Engine to this world."
"Wait," HImawari asked. "Why not transport it directly here?"
"It would be too unstable," Dr. Isshiki said. "They can't risk it."
"Right you are, Doctor," Optimus said. "No more questions? Let's go then. Ratchet, the space bridge!"
BAYVERSE-NEST BASE
Soldiers were at the ready, Wreckers by their side. Soon, the great Autobot leader Optimus arrived, along with the other Autobots except for Mirage, who has died according to the report. A man walked up. "Lennox!"
Lennox got down. "Epps!" How's things back here?"
"No sign of Con activity yet."
The Vividteam was arriving as well. "Everyone, this is Epps," Lennox said. "Epps, this is the Vividteam. They assisted us in the battles that happened."
"Really? A bunch of kids?"
"Kindly refrain from underestimating us," Rei said.
"Hmm, and who might you be?" Epps asked.
"I'm Rei Kuroki," she answered.
The rest of the team had been introduced as well. After that, Epps turned his attention to Jetfire. "Whoah. He's alive?"
"Yes, I am alive!"Jetfire said, leaning on his cane. "I don't know why, but I'm back, and I'm ready to fight again."
"That's good," Epps said.
"Wreckers, are you ready?" Optimus asked.
"Ready when you are," they replied in unison.
"They're leaving already?" Akane asked.
"It is vital that we get to Cybertron before the Decepticons mess with your engine now, don't you think?" Leadfoot said.
"Alright, let's get this party started!" Roadbuster said.
The space bridge was activated, and the three wreckers stepped through.
"Now all we need is a lot of luck," Dr. Isshiki said.
CYBERTRON
DECEPTICON THRONE ROOM
The Fallen sat in his chair.
"It feels good to back," he said.
"My master, why did you not reveal yourself to me then? It could have made things easier…"
"I know your nature, my pupil… I only revealed myself because I got wind of your plans."
"Plans? Master what are you-"
The Fallen raised his hand. "Silence fool! I know that you plan to get rid off me back then. That forced me to reveal myself earlier than necessary."
Megatron was down on his knees. "Master, I-I apologize-"
The Fallen got up. "I have taught you well. Still... " he punched Megatron, sending him flying.
"I will not tolerate insurbodination again."
OUTSIDE DECEPTICON BASE
"Well boys, we have arrived," Leadfoot said.
"Aye, but let's not be careless," Roadbuster said.
"Check it out," Topspin pointed to the engine, which was a walking distance from them.
"Today's our lucky day then!" Roadbuster said, readying his weapons, forgetting his earlier advice.
It seems the rest of the Wreckers forgot too, as they charged blindly. Suddenly Leadfoot stopped. "Wait.. where are the guards?"
"Hmm, now that you mention it…" Topspin looked around-and didn't like what he saw. "Awww crap…."
Devastator was a really big decepticon. So big, in fact, that when he came to Earth, none of their puny vehicles is suitable for his alt mode. Having no choice, he split his body into many halves. Those halves now guard the engine, and is now merging to form his gigantic self.
"Devastator!" Roadbuster said in surprise.
"No kidding. Let's get ready…." Leadfoot activated his guns.
As Devastator was forming, the Wreckers fired their weapons.
"It's not working!" Topspin said.
"In that case…" Leadfoot has read the report about what happened in the other world. The engine is here…
To his surprise, he managed to form a huge cannon. "Alright!" he said in delight.
Roadbuster and Topspin went to their teammate.
"Wow, what's that?" Roadbuster asked.
"Well, its from the engine. But, it takes a while to load…. Stall time until it gets enough juice!"
"Done," Topspin said just as Devastator finished forming and started to roar.
