A/N:

Hey guys!

I hope you all enjoyed the previous chapter.

This is Chapter 14, and I believe that there will be at least 1 or 2 more chapters left for this story.

However, don't fret, (if "fret" is even a word...I think it is, but it's late and my mind is in a sleep mode so I applogize if I said that word/phrase wrong)

Anyway, the sequel to this story will most likely be posted in mid to late April.

Hard to say, I have to see what's going on for the rest of the school year.

Anyways, enough about that, I bet you're getting tired of reading this Authors Note, so I'll shut up and let you read!

Enjoy

Chapter 14- The Beginning of The End

After running through the dirty path of the woods, into mosquitoes and spider webs, the Pines' twins finally made it out of the Gravity Falls Forest where the former Mystery Shack was standing in plain sight, underneath the moonlight of the night sky. Both twins were tired, but they needed to stay awake in order to put their (not so thought out) plan into action. They ran across the road where they hid in a nearby bush that was a good five feet away from the fence. Both Dipper and Mabel happened to look over the head of the bush and saw almost every captured resident cringing, and whimpering in pain due to the shocks that they all received by Gideon. Just hearing the whimpers only made matters worse for them. It was important that the twins act fast so that everyone was free. Dipper happened to look up to the newest addition added to the Mystery Shack; the dungeon, where he saw a girl, looking up in the night sky, with her cheeks stained in tears. Not to mention the fact that he thought he'd never be happy to see that she was alright. Anticipation was the only feeling he felt. It was time to begin the battle, but the only thing that remained to pass was how to get across the fence, without getting caught.

Mabel: Alright here's the plan…we'll hop over the fence and I'll attack one of Gideon's guards by the door while you karate chop the second one and then we'll smash open the door, defeat Gideon and Bill, free the residents, and Gwen. What do you think?

Dipper knew for a fact that there was no way Mabel's plan was going to work out. If she climbed over the fence, the body guards, Gideon, or (even worse) Bill, would come and capture them both, and if she shot her grappling hook towards the Mystery Shack, Bill would know, since he's always watching. Mabel was thinking way to fast on the plan; they had to take things one by one if they wanted everyone from the town to be free. He glanced up at Gwen's dungeon room and she was still in the same position as before. Dipper turned around and looked up the nearby tree and made a trace with his fingers. There was a branch that was lined up perfectly to her window. Finally, after thinking hard enough, he came up with a good and hopefully well thought out plan for getting over the fence.

Dipper: I think I have a better idea. Follow me.

The twins climbed up the nearby tree where Dipper told his sister how he thinks that we should take the plans one step at a time, and she agreed. With that, he told her his (now) well thought out plan, to get across the fence and get to Gwen. Realizing where he was going with this, she handed Dipper her grappling hook and broke off two branches so they could "zip line" over to her dungeon room to try and break her free.

Meanwhile, Gwen continued to stare out of the dungeon window, making wishes that hopefully, somebody, ANYBODY (besides Gideon and Bill) could come and rescue her and the rest of the town. After what she witnessed tonight, she was desperate to get out of here. She was beginning to lose hope that no one was lingering in the forest, and no one would have the guts to come and face Gideon, until she saw some type of hook attach to one of her bars in her room. She flinched back, but didn't scream because she didn't want to wake up Gideon and/or Bill. She then walked up to the window and towards the hook, examining it, until she heard a sound that sounded like a motor on a motorcycle. She didn't know what to expect, and thought that it was an enemy getting ready to attack. Gwen's in the town of Gravity Falls; anything could happen. She got into her fighting position, waiting for the friend or foe to come into full picture. However, when it got closer to her window, she got out of her fighting position, and grasped onto the bars with happy tears, knowing that Dipper and Mabel have arrived to try and free everyone, including her.

Dipper: Gwen! Are you okay?

Mabel: Did that jerk Gideon do anything to you? If he did, I brought my bedazzler gun and it's loaded with gems. I'm not afraid to use it on those guards or Gideon myself!

For the first time in many hours, Gwen finally had a laugh, and it felt like old times before she even got captured by Bill. There was a small ledge on by Gwen's window, and so Dipper was the first to step onto it. It felt good to put his arms down, and see Gwen for the first time that seemed like forever. He looked at Gwen, who was just overfilled with joy in her system and kept on smiling. Dipper placed one hand, grasping onto the bars of the cell, while he stuck his other hand out to his sister so she could join him on the ledge. However, there was a small change in plans; Mabel heard a distinct breaking sound coming from her branch, as it was beginning to break in half. Dipper heard it too, and both of the twins' hearts were skipping beats. Mabel attempted to grab her brother's hand, but it was too late…the branch broke, sending his sister to the ground. She screamed…which was the worst thing to do; not to mention the fact that Dipper screamed out to her. Watching Mabel fall seemed to be in slow motion; as soon as she hit the ground, both Dipper and Gwen could hear her leg crack. What made matters worse is that she screamed due to the abdominal pain, and the residents began to stir back into consciousness. All Dipper wanted to do was get Gwen out of there and get to his sister, before they were caught. He pulled on her bars and she punched them, as hard as she could, but they wouldn't seem to budge. Kicking them didn't even make the bars bend or show any signs of splitting apart. It was no use…Gwen was still trapped.

What could be worse than what's already happened? The spotlights coming back on and Gideon, exiting out of the Mystery Shack to Dipper's distraught twin to see why she was screaming and the citizens circling around her. The shock remote was (of course) in Gideon's hand; finger so close to the dangerous setting yet again. Tired and groggily, Gideon approached the slightly older Pines' twin, as she held her leg in pain. He let out a small evil chuckle and knelt down so he was level with Mabel.

Gideon: Well, well, well…look who decided to come for a little visit. It looks like little ole' Mabel couldn't get her mind off of me, so she decided to break her leg, just so she could be my queen.

She couldn't protest due to the horrible pain in her leg, and the out of control tears escaping her eyes. Some citizens tried to get near the distraught girl but Gideon threatened that he will shock them to the death if they get anywhere near Mabel. Everyone ended up freezing where they were, hoping that they wouldn't get shocked by Gideon…well almost everyone. Henry Simmons couldn't take the madness Gideon created. Between capturing every resident from the town, along with his niece, shocking innocent people, and now causing trying to make Mabel his queen after she broke her leg, he couldn't take it anymore. This eight year old creep had too much power, and the common folk of the town were too scared to even attempt to try and get Gideon to back down. It was time that somebody stood up and took matters into their own hands…and that one person was Henry. He lunged towards Gideon, tackling him to the ground, along with two other agents. The remaining four had picked up Mabel, and moved her away from Gideon and the rest of the agents. The residents of the town were shocked that he was attacking Gideon, who was now pinned to the ground, and then realized that they had more power over Gideon. Dipper, who was still up by Gwen's cell window at the dungeon, gave a little sigh of relief, knowing that his sister was now a little bit out of harm's way. He still had to get to her, and give her the urgent care she needs. Several townsfolk saw Dipper up by the window of the dungeon, and they grabbed a blanket from the inside, so in this case, if Dipper wanted to get to his sister, he would have to jump. However, as much as he wanted to get to Mabel, Gwen was still trapped, and she needed to escape too. He yelled to the citizens from the town, stating that Gwen was still locked away, and she needed to escape. Everyone who heard his plead to help her escape, ran into the entrance of the dungeon to set her free. Dipper informed Gwen that help was on the way, and to hang in there. She knew that Mabel was now more important at the moment, and Dipper needed to get to her immediately. She nodded for him to go, and he leaped off of the small ledge, and landed safely on the blanket. He slid off, and went over to Mabel who was beginning to calm down.

Gwen watched Dipper go, as she heard the cell door that lead to her room, open up. She was expecting the townsfolk up there to free her, but as she turned around, she was face to face with Bill Cipher. Anxiety returned to her stomach, as Bill stood in the doorway. He looked rather calm, than earlier…probably because he woke up due to Mabel's screams.

Gwen: What do you want? Are you here to try and stop me?

Bill: Uh…do you see me making any attempt trying to stop you from running?

Gwen: No…but you could. I never know your next move, and for all I know, it could end up being something unimaginable and indescribable. You're a dream demon, and you know lots of things, including what people are thinking.

The dream demon only rolled his eye while tuning out Gwen's response. She stood frozen, back against the stone wall of the dungeon. He thought Gwen was smarter than what she seems, but apparently, he was misguided.

Bill: I'm letting you go. You may come in handy later on in the months or years. I don't need you right now, and neither does Gideon.

Gwen: Is this a trick? Are you going to do something even more horrible to the twins? Mabel's already in a lot of pain, and she doesn't need any more right now.

Bill: No tricks. I actually admire Shooting Star, and I could easily do something horrible to one of the twins, or even both of them at any given moment…

She gulped, figuring that whatever Bill was going to say next, would put her, and the twins in even more danger, but she couldn't deal with any more troubles at the moment. She sighed aloud, and waited for Bill to complete his statement.

Bill: But big things are coming…and I need all three of you. As much as I want to make you and the twins' lives miserable, I can't do it now…but it will happen in the future. Plus, Gideon owes me and he can't back out this time, so I could keep going on and on about the "big plans" and Gideon "owing" me, but I don't feel like it. I'm in a decent mood now, so I suggest you leave.

With no other words spilled out, Gwen ran out of her former dungeon room, and down the long narrow steps of the building. She was greeted by the residents of the town, where they all exited out of the building, and got ready to put an end to Gideon's horrible game, once and for all.

A/N:

This concludes chapter 14.
