Yo, Dragondodge here. I've been wondering if Aloe Blacc came from the Black family. Mysterious. Ah well, let's continue.
It had only taken a week for Sirius to heal, under carful supervision from Harry and Apollo. It appeared that he liked Apollo, creating a pranking force to be reckoned with. The camp never stood a chance.
Today, Harry had begun warming up just before Sirius casually walked towards the area. He was decked in some of his new clothes, (Just Dance 2014- The wake me up character, but with a black jacket and white shirt.) courtesy of Harry, who bought a whole new wardrobe for him. When he asked about the price, Harry casually answered,
"Oh over nine thousand galleons." which caused Sirius to gape.
"Over nine thousand!? What the hell did you buy!?"
"A whole new set of everything. Your old clothes definitely won't fit you anymore." Harry said with a glare that brought no comebacks. Today, they would be sparing to see how well Sirius could fight.
"Okay, ready?" Harry asked, pulling out his swords.
"Whoa, those things look epic!" Sirius gasped, examining the blades.
"They're called the blades of retribution. A gift from Hades, technically, that sort of fused with my original sword. Now, are we going to fight?" Harry explained, mirth in his eyes. They entered similar fighting positions, and began. Harry stuck out his hand, causing a rune to appear burning on the back of his hand, freezing time. Harry walked around Sirius, taking in every detail about his stance.
"I see. Well Sirius, always watch your back!" Harry yelled, un-freezing time before making slashes with his blades. They connected as Sirius stumbled, surprised at the time freeze. Harry then began chanting various spells, all dependant on humiliation.
Flipendo, tarentellagra, rideat, coloris mutatio made Sirius flip, dance, laugh like a madman and then change colour. Everyone who had come to watch began laughing like crazy until Harry dispelled the magic.
"Wow Prongslet! That was awesome! Is that all you can do?" Sirius asked, brushing himself off.
"Actually, many of my friends have special talents. Elwyn is a master of animals, capable of summoning real or energy animals and is a seer. Ariana over there is capable of becoming a ghost at will, as well as having the allure and fire control. Basically, she's an overpowered veela. Me though? I'm a parseltounge, mage sight and aura sight user, as well as a full elemental, magic bender and a wand crafter. We are all advanced in magic and are shifters; capable to change into anything. However," Harry quoted, smiling at Sirius' shocked face. "There is one more thing I have to save for later." That was when that conversation ended. Harry checked his watch, realising he had to go to a meeting, he quickly said goodbye to Sirius, dashing furiously towards the big house, just making it to the safe area. This was the only area where harry could teleport without shocking himself in the camp and he commonly used it. Today, he teleported to the top of Olympus, where the entire council had amassed.
"Ah, it appears that our young charge has appeared." Zeus began, staring deeply at Harry, who met it with a gaze of his own, before both broke down into laughter.
"I see you haven't lost your attitude either! Now Harrison, how was your year?"
"Oh," Harry said with a shrug. "Nothing much." Hades began to roar with laughter, something he rarely did.
"Nothing much!?" He gasped out. "You sent me an evil soul, as well as a troll!" This caused many of the gods to look at Harry with raised eyebrows, except for Artemis, who had a calculating look in her gaze.
"What? It attacked someone. I couldn't just let it kill anyone! The man was Voldemort, well, the person he possessed." Harry protested, raising his hands.
"Well, you better keep up the work. Now, what is this about you continuing your impressive concerts?" Zeus questioned with mirth.
"Ah, well…"
One hour later
"Okay, well we look forward to it Harry." Zeus finished, allowing Harry back to the camp. Almost immediately, he rushed over to his friends, who had begun a tslk with Sirius.
"Hey, you three. How would you like to make a band?" Harry asked, receiving confused glances.
"Apollo will give us specific instrument chains so we can make a band! So are you in?" Harry received positive responses, especially from Sirius, who had once played as a bass guitarist. They walked up to Apollo and told them about their decision.
"Cool! Now, these have been personalised so you will gain the knowledge on how to use these, as well as have your best colour and name on. Harry, I've simply altered yours." Apollo explained, happy to help his friends. They soon had a chat about which song they would do, which lasted until the time the concert was meant to begin. They went over to the newly conjured stage and faced out towards the camp fire.
"Hello guys! We are now the Phoenix, and we will be a new band! We have Ariana on the guitar, Elwyn on the drums, Padfoot on the bass and me on this baby," Harry yelled, with each summoning their instrument. Elwyns drums had a green colour scheme, with a phoenix image on the main drum. ( Think of my profile image) Sirius' guitar had a blue base, Ariana's had red and Harry had a 'keytar' with a white base.
"The keytar! Now today, we will play you our debut piece, Things we lost in the fire!"
Things we lost in the fire-Bastille
Things we lost to the flame. I was the match and you were the rock. (You said) we were born with nothing
Things we'll never see again.
All that we've amassed
Sits before us, shattered into ash. These are the things, the things we lost,
The things we lost in the fire, fire, fire.
These are the things, the things we lost,
The things we lost in the fire, fire, fire.
We sat and made a list,
Of all the things that we had.
Down the backs of table tops, Ticket stubs and your diaries,
I read them all one day,
When loneliness came and you were away.
Oh they told me nothing new,
But I love to read the words you used. These are the things, the things we lost,
The things we lost in the fire, fire, fire.
These are the things, the things we lost,
The things we lost in the fire, fire, fire.
Maybe we started this fire.
We sat apart and watched
All we had burned on the pyre.
And we sure as hell have nothing now
(You said) we were born with nothing
And we sure as hell have nothing now
The things we lost in the fire, fire, fire.
These are the things, the things we lost,
The things we lost in the fire, fire, fire.
Do you understand that we will never be the same again?
Do you understand that we will never be the same again?
The future's in our hands and we will never be the same again.
The future's in our hands and we will never be the same again.
Flames, they licked the walls.
Tenderly, they turned to dust all that I adore.
The crowd roared as they finished the song, even the adults had come out to listen to the tune. Ariana then Took other the microphone.
"You may be wondering why we have these concerts. Well, we have seen how things turn out in both universes. We never would have met Harry, and both worlds would lose a lot of people." Ariana looked over the camp, many people had either shocked or sad expressions.
"We simply are trying to enjoy our time, as eventually we will be in war. We must prepare, but must also have fun. So, why don't we do another song?" They began again, this time throwing out a fast tune which soon had everyone dancing along. After that was finished, they said goodnight to Sirius, entering their cabin.
"Wow, that was invigorating! I think that deserves a drink." Elwyn claimed, walking towards the fridge. "What do you want?" They had sat down with their drinks in hand, when they were called back to the big house.
"Dammit! Why can't we get a rest for once?" Harry grumbled as they ran to the big house. Inside, they found the majority of the camp, all looking more sober than normal. The trio placed themselves next to Percy, waiting for Chiron to make his speech.
"We have been called upon." He began. "We have been told to reacquire the legendary Moonlight chalice. This artefact is known in myth to be able to cure the creatures of the night. Should this be brought to destruction, we would never be able to cure another innocent!" Chiron then surveyed the room.
"Who will accept this task?" many stepped back, leaving the trio, with Zoë and Phoebe. That was when Percy stepped forward.
"Not going to miss another chance to have an adventure with you guys!" He said, walking over to where the group had assembled.
"You are to head to Tenochtitlan, the greatest city of the Aztecs. Apparently, the chalice is being held within the main temple. You may begin at dawn. We wish you luck." Chiron said, nodding his head at each individual and then left. After, they were approached by Artemis, who was in her twelve year old form.
"Um…I wanted to wish you luck on your journey. May the blessings shine down on you." She quickly said, before storming off. This was the first, and only time she would blush because of a boy.
"Hm, Strange. She has not acted like that before." Zoë commented, before taking control.
"We shall meet at seven. Be ready."
The group had packed up by morning, each ready for a fight as well as travel. Percy had Riptide as a pen in his front pocket, Zoë had her bow loaded and Phoebe had her blade strapped to her side. With the group together, they bid farewell to their friends, beginning another unforgettable adventure.
They had begun their trek, but when they reached the edge of the forest, they quickly darted into the hidden parts, to make sure they weren't seen.
"Hey, what the heck!?" Percy protested, trying to wrestle out of the hunters grips.
"We need you to be quiet!" Ariana hissed, immediately silencing Percy.
"We're about to cheat on a quest. If no one sees us, they can't stop us." Harry explained, talking like he would to a child. This made Percy huff.
"Dude, no need to do that. Let's just do this thing!"
"Okay, just give me some time." Harry said before suddenly drawing in golden energy. Soon, his entire body was glowing, causing the group to look away before feeling the euphoria that came with teleporting.
You could describe it as a feeling of death beyond death. Nothing around, nothing to hear, see, smell. True disconnection from the world. But after, the literal feeling of being lifted will arise, colours and sounds swirling around you until suddenly, you stop. When the group did, they found themselves in Mexico, next to a panting Harry.
"Nothing fatal." Harry wheezed out. "Just takes a lot of energy for multiple people. Zoë for some reason, found herself drawing her bow at an approaching stranger.
"State your business!" She snarled at the approaching person who seemed unaffected by her behaviour.
"We saw you appear here. What kind of trickery is this?" The man who had approached them had a deep tan, very few clothes and had a buff body. The girls hid their blushes well. They seemed surprised when he gasped.
"Is it? Maya! Alsaka! Come!" He yelled, making a scantily clad woman and boy appear from a hut in the distance.
"The golden boy has appeared!" He cried out happily, falling to one knee before the others. Harry looked rather put off by this.
"By the gods, we thought you wouldn't come." The woman gasped before dragging them towards a huge temple. Within, the group gasped as they saw an image of Harry on a golden throne inscribed into the wall. The young boy then spoke up.
"It was said that we, the last of Tenochtitlan's inhabitants, would one day be visited by a group of six. One would hold immense power over humans, one over animals and the golden boy, who had power over death itself. They would come together, with the golden boy as the leader, to take down the evil that plagues this land." Alsaka incited, perfectly from memory.
"Well, we do have that power." Ariana agreed, suddenly looking emotionless. "But do you worship us like gods?"
"Oh no." The man said, rapidly shaking his head.
"We only wish to be rid of the great evil that plagues this land." Elwyn looked over the great temple.
"What is this 'great evil'?" He asked, taking care to stop at his image.
"Our people were cursed by the night. We would change to horrific beasts or pale monsters." The mother, Maya, replied. The group all shared a knowing glance.
"We will help you," Zoë began. "But only if we are allowed to search for what we need."
"Of course!" They replied "take your time, but do not take too long at night." And it was settled, the group would stay there until the curse was over.
"Well, we have to get a cup and then kill a whole civilisation of werewolves and vampires. Great!" Percy remarked, flopping down on a conjured couch with the grace of an elephant. Harry was inside his private room doing god knows what; Elwyn had gone to collect some native ingredients and Ariana was patrolling the nearby area, leaving Percy with the Hunters who had sat on the opposite side as him.
"Yes, I must agree, this will be difficult." Phoebe said while reading one of the books she found on the shelves.
"Wait… I've got it!" Zoë cried, standing from where she was polishing her bow.
"The moonlight Chalice is capable of curing creatures of the night!" The other two quickly caught on.
"We get all the people together…" Phoebe thought.
"Find the chalice…" Percy continued.
"And cure every werewolf and vampire!" Zoë finished before they all jumped when a voice claimed from the darkness,
"It's about time." before the trio stepped out of the corner.
"I see you caught up to the plan." Elwyn remarked.
"Wait, we thought you were busy." Zoë claimed I reply.
"Well we finished. We now have a load of local ingredients, know we are in a safe area and have some new weapons." Harry stated before bringing out separate strips with intricate runes on them.
"It appears that the Mexicans have found some ways to embrace runes!"
"Well, now that we have a plan, what are we going to do?" Percy asked, opening a new can.
"Well, we should rest up. Tomorrow, we're heading out for the most obvious location." Elwyn replied.
"Oh? And where is that?" Zoë remarked. Harry grinned.
"Why, the moonlight temple of course!"
They woke at midnight, prepared for many outcomes and entered the crisp, fresh outdoors. They only had to walk a small distance to reach the temple, which seemed to glisten in the dark moonlight.
"Makes sense I suppose." Harry thought out loud.
They entered the large, ornate doors to find themselves in a completely different place. They were in a grand entrance hall, completely white apart from a red carpet that led all the way to broadening stairs. A typical mansion entrance. The most important part was a tapestry set in the centre of the hall.
Greetings those who search for the Moonlight Chalice!
You're probably wondering, why is this place different than in day? Well, I'm one of those gifted. This place is to change to my home at midnight, to allow me to protect the chalice at its most vulnerable.
"Vulnerable?" Phoebe said, causing the group to stare at her.
"We were reading!" Harry hissed, before going back to the text.
With so many creatures using its powers, its defences' energy is used to help prevent total destruction of the artefact. Yes, the very object that can cure the night creatures, sustains them.
They require its energy, as they are cursed, not turned. Should the artefact be taken away, the people would become permanently stuck, unless someone can cure them.
I await the time you find the next tapestry adventurers.
Selene.
"Selene? Who's that?" Percy asked, causing the group to face palm.
"Selene? The goddess of the moon? Works alongside Apollo?" Ariana questioned, for his sake. After they realised they wouldn't get it out of him, they carried on the trek. After the entrance, they found a huge dining hall, lined with plates bulging with food. Percy was about to sit down, but was dragged up and slapped by both hunters.
"Fool! What if it was poisoned!?" They hissed, before splitting up into pairs to explore the immediate area. Harry was paired with Zoë to take the master bedroom.
Whoopee.
"All's clear!" Zoë yelled to Harry, who almost responded, but instead nearly pulled the trigger on someone who had attempted to get behind him. Further inspection showed that it was an elf, dressed in a dirty pillow case.
"Who are you?" Harry asked, hoping for an easy task.
"I is Dobby! I have a warning to give Master Harry Potter sir!" The elf squeaked.
"Oh really?" Zoë asked, curious about the creature that had found them.
"Oh Yes! Master Potter sir should not return to Hogwarts!" Dobby cried.
"Why? I enjoy my time there." Harry responded, hoping the creature would give up soon, but alas, it was not so.
"If you, Master Harry sir, won't listen, then I must stop you!"
Well, that changed a lot. Now before people start arguing about this again, I will explain Selene.
Selene was like Helios; she would ride a moon chariot across the earth. She can sometimes be affiliated with Artemis and worked under Hecate. She had many lovers affiliated with her, which even included Zeus. Her roman name? Know that is a major plot point…
Double D out!
