Hey guys!

I just want to say wow. That's for the review. Also I just want to put this out there. I do not favor Marlo more. I'm just giving her a fair chance in my story. A) I sure she will never be able to be a street cop and in this chapter you will see she have been on desk for a while.

Also if you don't like Sam and Andy stories then stop reading mine. 100% is Sam and Andy as it will always be. Okay now that out of the way.

Thanks Jelly Bean Jenna!

Two years later…

Over the last two years Andy McNally hasn't really changed. She still works at the Fifteen Division, but now as a detective. They were short one, and she thought she would give it a shot. She only hangs out with her friends and she doesn't date.

Also over the past two years she has been a bridesmaid, but never a bride.

Xavier was the first to marry. She was actually Xavier's best woman.

Traci and Steve Peck were next to wed, of course she was Traci's maid of Honor.

She was even in Gail's and Holly's wedding party.

Now it was Nick and Fiona's turn. She would also be Fiona's maid of honor. The only thing about this wedding was that it would finally bring Sam Swarek back to Toronto to walk Fiona down the aisle.

Andy had tried to talk to Sam. But after thirty unanswered phone calls he had changed his number.

That hurt.

But what really crushed her was when Oliver and Celery were getting married.

Sam had brought a blonde to the wedding and he didn't even look Andy's way. She only stayed for the ceremony and left quickly after that.

Sure, he had moved on a second time but that didn't mean she was going to move on again. He had watched her with Luke, Nick and Xavier. She wasn't going to take any chances no matter what her friends tried.

She wasn't going to date.

After all, she still had the ring on a chain around her neck. She has never taken it off, nor will she ever.

Over the last few years Sam Swarek has tried getting used to his new life.

Finding a new place to live.

Finding new friends.

Finding a new love.

He thought if Andy could find new love so could he. But it's the hardest thing he has ever done.

He's always finding himself comparing every girl to her.

The longest relationship he's had been with a girl named Ashley. They lasted a solid four months. He ending it after Oliver's wedding.

He had caught a glimpse of Andy before she left, she was talking to his niece and Reed before she left. He also didn't stick around long after she left.

Fiona had come to him and smacked his head, telling him once again he that she thought he was stupid. Since then, they have barely talked.

And that was about nine months ago.

Now here he was making his way back to Toronto for Fiona's wedding. She had called him (to his surprise),to ask him to give her away and not to bring a date or else...

He hasn't had a date since he broke things off with Ashley. But now he was going to have to watch Andy dance around with Reed at the wedding.

And that sucked.

His date would be a few tumblers of whiskey.

The first stop before his hotel was the Penny. He had giving his house to Fiona after he left. He didn't want to sell it for some reason. Now he was just hoping that he could have a few drinks before he saw Andy.

Sam walked into the Penny looking for people he knew. Chris, Dov, Gail, Chloë and a few other people that he didn't know, were playing darts. Traci, Steve, Oliver and Reed were at a table talking.

He ordered himself a drink before he made his way over to the table that Oliver occupied.

"Hey Stranger." Oliver greeted him with a hug.

"Hey Ollie." He said as he returned the hug.

He said hello to everyone at the table,

Traci with a kiss on the cheek, Steve with a handshake. And even though he didn't want to, he shook Reed's hand. His breath caught when he saw a wedding band on his left hand.

Was it there the last time he was in town?

Sam let himself get into a conversation at the table trying to take his mind off of the band on Reed's hand. He was there for a good thirty minutes before the door opened. He heard a little voice yell 'daddy' he turned and looked to see Andy carrying a little girl in her arms that looked just like Reed.

His heart had dropped to his stomach.

She was now a mother.

"Hey pumpkin." Reed said taking the little girl from Andy. "Where's Mommy?" He asked. The little girl just pointed to the door that Marlo was coming in slowly as her swollen stomach was making her walk like that.

Sam sat there dumb struck.

Mommy wasn't Andy. She wasn't married to Reed, but Marlo was and she was the Mommy.

Sam watched as Andy helped Marlo to a seat then she looked over at his table and waved but she didn't wave to him. She waved to the Peck and Oliver then she went to play darts with the rest of the rookies.

"Close your mouth or you're going to catch a fly." Oliver said smacking his head lightly.

Sam just glared at him. He was mad.

How could his friends and family not tell him that Andy and Reed weren't together anymore, for the two years he had stayed away?

"Why didn't you tell me?"

"Tell you what?"

"About Andy?"

"She tried to tell you." Oliver told him.

"What? When?"

Traci jumped in then. "Two years ago when she got out of the hospital. That's why she showed up. She was going to fight for you Sam, but you ended up crushing her."

"I- I didn't know." He choked out.

"Did you even try to listen to what she said that day?"

"Go home Andy. Go home to your boyfriend."

That gave her the courage she needed.

"No. I want you. You only."

"Funny just last week you were telling him you will always love him. You don't even know what you want Andy."

"Do you even know what you want Sam?"

"Yeah I want you to leave and to forget about me. Go back to your happy life and leave me the hell alone."

"No, I didn't."

"And that makes you a very stupid man Sam Swarek." Traci told him. "Do you want to know what she was going to say that day Sam?"

He just nodded.

"She was going to tell you that you make her happy. You know she wears your ring."

"What?"

"The ring you gave her. She has been wearing it since you gave it to her. She hasn't taken it off, not once and she won't."

He looked over at Andy she was playing with her necklace.

"She wears it on her necklace." It wasn't a question it was a statement.

"Yeah so it's always with her."

For the first time in a long time Sam Swarek had tears in his eyes.

She still loved him. Even after the way he had spoken to her the last time. Not answering his phone the times she called after. Even after bringing a date to Oliver's wedding.

He had to find a way to get her back and put the ring where it belongs- on her left hand, not hanging around her neck. But his chance was shot when she got a phone call and left in a hurry.

Soooo... I hope everyone likes the time jump. Leave a review a love them all.
