two years later...
"Whoa! There bubby!" cried out Jason.
He couldn't believe how fast Danny could walk on the little legs of his already. Danny, who was sixteen months now had just been walking for a few weeks now but it seemed like he had been walking since the word go.
Sam had been afraid that he wouldn't walk for the longest time but she had been clearly wrong.
Jason quickly reached out for the tote and throw him up into the air. His laughter ringing out through the crowd of people. Jason couldn't help but smile at his son. He couldn't believe how much time had passed since Sam had told him she was pregnant, the last time they were here.
He had a son.
They had a son.
Danny was the perfect mixture of them both. He had Jason's blue eyes and blonde hair. But Sam's feisty personality. As Jason held the tote in his arms, he was joined by the rest of the crew.
There was Sam with Jake holding her hand. Molly with her boyfriend, Rafe. Kristina with her boyfriend, Trey and then lastly there was Alexis with Shawn.
This annual trip had become more then just about the Davis Girls. It was now about family. Alexis had wanted to come last year, but the baby had been young still.
But the older woman was determined to make this a yearly thing, now that Danny was older and she also had Jake now to call her grandson. Every since, Sam and Jason had tied the knot, the little boy had become more present in Jason's life. And now with Danny, Jake spent three days with Jason and Sam at the Penthouse and the rest of the time at his mother's.
"Mama!" screamed Danny, his little arms reaching out towards Sam.
"Here," spoke Jason towards Sam as he handed over the tote to her. She smiled in reply as she let go of Jake's hand and took the boy into her arms. She pressed a kiss to Danny's temple.
"So where do you all want to go first?" asked Alexis as she looked around at her family. She was thrilled that they were all here again. When she had brought up the idea to Sam again, she had gotten the same response from her daughter as the first time. Sam didn't think it was good idea. She loved Disney World and had fun on the last trip. But still thought Danny was too young. Plus, she wanted to bring everyone on the trip this time, not just the Davis Girls and Jason.
But Jason had been supported of the idea. Which had surprised Sam but she quickly afterwards had come around to the idea.
"Well, Molly has the map," pointed out Kristina as she lifted her sunglasses off of her face and looked towards her younger sister. "Mol, where should we go?" Kristina was now a mature young woman of 19, soon to be 20. Like Sam, Kristina hadn't been too thrilled with the idea of returning to Disney World. She loved Disney and loved her family but she had better ideas on how her summer vacation should be spent. She had rather stay at Yale, where Trey was. But when Alexis had told her to bring him along too, she had been both shocked and thrilled. Trey was the love of her life. Looking away from her sister, she glanced over at him and smiled.
Trey returned the smile before reaching out and taking her hand. It was a small gesture but always could make Kristina's heart melt.
"Okay, let's see," murmured Molly as she unfolded the park map and studied it. She was now a mature age of fifteen. "Well, we are on main street at the moment and just up ahead if we keep on walking will be Cinderella's Castle." She brown eyes continued to stare at the map for a second longer before looking up and smiling at her family. Molly, unlike her sister had been happy to hear about the possible trip. She loved when her family did things like this. It was rare now it seemed that the Davis Girls were under one roof together. It was hard with Kristina being away at school and Sam had her own family now.
"I guess we should keep on walking then," suggested Rafe in his quiet voice as he smiled nervously at Molly before looking around at the others.
Molly and Rafe had only been going out for a couple of months and he had been surprised to be in visited on the trip. But after some arm twisting, his mom had allowed him to come along. He was of course staying in a different room from Molly. But he didn't care. He loved hanging out with Molly's family and as long as he got to be with Molly, he didn't care where he stayed.
"Sounds good to me," commented Shawn. He had never been to Disney World before and didn't really know what to expect. Anything sound good to him.
"To the castle then!" cried out Alexis, excitably. She was overcome with happiness to be back on the Disney grounds. She loved it here. She was even more thrilled that she had all her loved ones around to share in the magic.
"YEAH!" cried out Jake as he began to jump on the spot beside Jason. The young boy had never been to Disney before and was excited to be there. He had not been able to talk about anything else it seemed. The whole plan ride there he had talked Jason's and Sam's ear off on how he was going to meet Mickey Mouse.
Everyone looked down at the young boy at this and laughed.
They then proceed to walked down Main Street and towards the castle in a line of twos. Molly and Rafe lead the way, with Kristina and Trey following, Alexis and Shawn were next and the Morgan clan bringing up the rear. Sam still held Danny against her hip, as she held Jake's hand with her free one. Jason held Jake's other one.
Jason looked down at Sam at this and smiled at her before they began to follow the others towards the castle.
And they all lived, happily ever after.
The End.
