Chapter 14
Nudge POV
I was just about to get up and leave, when I felt a gentle touch on my arm. I looked over at michal "please stay" he said softly. He looked crushed at the thought of me leaving. For some reason the thought of hurting him bothered me. He said something else but I was to focused on the hurt look he had to really hear what he had said.
"I don't know what to think of this, right now I need time to process everything you shared with me. I need to focus on helping fang right now I cant deal with this now." I said to him being as honest as I could be.
"I don't expect you to just accept everything right away, but can you agree to at least not shut out getting to know each other? We don't need to jump right into anything, I just need to know you are not scared of me I know things with us wolves can get intense." he said, his eyes where almost pleading and I found I didn't want to make him sad so I stayed.
Max POV
I watched as Angel went and talked to Nudge for a few minutes. I couldn't hear what was being said but once Angel left Nudge headed over to where Michal was. He looked at her before almost without realizing it he moved over to let Nudge sit by him, I watched as she reluctantly sat down. They talked for a few minutes until nudge suddenly said something and looked like she was about to leave until he reached out and stopped her saying something. I was just about to run in to defend her if she so much as gave the slightest indication she needed help. Instead when she looked at him she relaxed slightly and he looked relieved she didn't leave. I decided to leave them for now keeping a close eye on Nudge for any indication she wanted help.
Fangs POV
After breaking the plate I was surprised that no one came in to get the broken pieces. Maybe I'm not being watched in here. It felt like hours went past, all I knew was that I felt like I was starting to go crazy being locked away in here but I survived the School and I knew I could survive this isolation. I couldn't help but think about how the flock was doing, I wonder if they had any idea where I even was. Just then the door swung open revealing Maria.
"Hello Fang" she said pausing, probably waiting for me to respond, I didn't say anything.
"Well I see your Manners haven't improved. I am getting impatient so I have a proposition for you. I know where the rest of your flock is, either you agree to fight for me or I will go out and get one of the youngest members and they will take your place. If that happens however you will no longer be of use to me. I will give you some time to consider your options." She said before turning and leaving the room before I had a chance to say anything.
