Blah. I honestly hate these next two chapters, just because, in my opinion, are written terribly. Sorry for the torture but these chapters need to come out. BTW, the italics towards the end are read in a narrative voice.

Haley's POV

I walked passed my school, ignoring the tardy bell, there were bags under my eyes from the countless nights of staying awake. The pain in my heart was just as fresh as the morning I woke up to the note. I didn't know how I felt anymore, angry, upset, or just down right depressed. It was only a few months ago when Lloyd disappeared, even if I didn't have a reason to stay with the ninja, I still slept in the same room.

I had spent many days skipping school and going on missions with the other ninja, though they disapproved, I sometimes even went on my own. Out into the Forest or in the Sea of Sand. But my life on The Bounty was soon long lived, my grades have dropped, and my parents are forcing me to move back in again. Kicked off the hockey team, I had gone into another state of depression.

My phone started to ring, digging it out of my pocket, I look at the caller I.D, it was Taylor. Clicking the answer button, Taylor strong voice came through, "Hey Haley, just go ahead to school, the weathers not looking to good this morning, we're going to wait till this evening to start looking."

"Fine." I mutter, why wait, who cares about the damn weather. Lloyd could be out there right now, waiting for us to find him. I shove my phone back into my pocket and turn around to start heading to class. Suddenly, a large firm hand clamps on my shoulder, the heavy coat of cologne tells me EXACTLY who it is. Turning around I'm met with the same smirk that I have grown to dislike.

Ever since Lloyd's disappearance, he has been bothering me. Pushing me, shoving me into walls, stealing my stuff, the acts of bullying were endless. "Me and my buddies heard that you were good in History. We came to, 'talk' about the project coming up."

"Why don't you do it yourself? I'm not your personal slave." I continue walkign towards the school be

Lloyd's POV

Wearing black ninja gi, I jumped across the roofs of Ninjago City. Even if I had ran away, doesn't mean I still want to protect the citizens of Ninjago and watch over Haley. Making my way to her school I notice him and a group of his friends. Throwing her books to the ground, they strated getting closer to her.

Pulling my mask over my head I jump down onto the sidewalk. "Get away from her." I growl, making my voice unrecognizable. Their heads snapped towards me, looking at Haley's face I can tell she's grateful I showed up when I did.

"Whatever. We'll be back for our project." He turned on his heels and walked away, his friends following him like a lost puppy.

"T-thank you." She stutters, holding her books, I resist pulling my mask off. A vibrating noise filled the air, shakily she reaches into her pocket and pulls out her phone. From the silence in the air I can hear the person on the other line.

"Haley, you have to get back to The Bounty now!" Taylor said, it sounded like she was, crying.

"What's wrong?!" Haley asked turning away from me.

"It's Sensei Wu..." Taylor said, my eyes went wide.

Dropping her books, Haley starts to sprint away from me and towards The Bounty's normal resting place. What's wrong with my Uncle? He's old but, that doesn't mean... Or does it? Fear takes over my body, adrenaline starts to pump through my veins as I start to run after her. My mask still covering my face, making it hard to breathe.

Running up to The Bounty. I notice that it's about to take off, I jump onto the anchor and hang on for dear life.

Haley's POV

I knew it was only a matter of time. Ever since Lloyd left, Sensei became very ill. With every passing day he become, weaker. If only Lloyd could see him one last time. Jumping onto the deck, I take in my surroundings, it was unusually quiet. Suddenly, the screen door opened and everybody walked out. Tears staining thier faces, I knew it was time.

"He wants to see you." Cole attempted to say strongly, as The Bounty started to rise. Why are we moving? Apparently, they heard my thought and answered, "He wants to go to the Monastery."

I vaguely remembered Cole, Kai, Jay, and Zane talking about it one night at dinner. Swallowing the lump in my throat I walk towards Sensei's room, where he sat quietly.

"My student, you seem under the weather." He started to cough, the gasps of his breathe between them made my heart cringe with pain. "Is it because of Lloyd?" I nod and stare into his cloudy onyx eyes.

"He did it to protect you, soon Lloyd's father will return. He will return in a few years when the ninja have to time travel. But I have seen another prophecy, the Prophecy of Futago." He handed me a scroll that was tied with a green ribbon.

"Don't read it until the time is right. I hope you can respect my final wish."

"Yes, Sensei. But I have a question. Why give the scroll to me and not the other ninja?" I asked tightening my hold on the old paper.

"This prophecy does not have anything to do with my other students, but it deals with you and my nephew." Bowing his head, I quietly stand up and leave. Making my way to Lloyd's old room. Opening the door I drop my belongings and stare at the bed. The untouched green comforter made my heart beat faster. Sitting on the bed the matters groaning under my weight.

With each passing minute, my lip started to quiver, then silent tears, and a sob escaped my throat. The pain I endured just today had taken a large toll on me. What happened at the school, my parents again, were out of town, and the only man that ad ever been a major father figure to me was now on the verge of death.

"Haley..." The exhausted voice of Kai broke me out of my thoughts, spiky brown hair had seemed to lost its color, he stood in the doorway. His arms crossed over one another, and he leaned against the door frame. During our dimensional travels Kai still wasn't very fond of me.

"I.. I'm happy you're helping us find Lloyd." He spoke in a soft whisper, with head bowed, he didn't move. "I know that it's hard for you, but-" I stood up and cocked an eyebrow.

"Nothing I can't handle." I walk passed Kai, ignoring his aggravated grunt, and walk onto the deck. Dark clouds rolled above us, lite rain drops bounced off the maple wood of The Bountys deck. Something catches my eye, a stray cherry blossom petal floating gracefully in the harsh winds of the storm.

My head snaps to the right, where I see Kai walk down the slope of the plank of wood used to get on and off The Bounty easier. At the edge of the mountain stood a tall Cherry Blossom tree, subconsciously, I walk off the ship.

Ruble, and burnt pieces of wood, lay on the ground. In front of me stood the others, facing the tree. Walking up beside them, the sight brought even more tears to my eyes. There stood Sensei Wu, head bowed, his back turned towards us, and his shoulders bobbed up and down silent sobs. Minutes pass, and Sensei regains his posture and turns to us.

"My students, tomorrow is a new day. You four were chosen to protect not only the Golden Weapons, but also The Green Ninja. Like me, yo uall are growing older with each passing day, and soon a new generation of ninja will take your place." Beside me I heard Nya gasp at the sound of small feet running towards us. Kolby.

The now two year old boy run over to Sensei giving his legs a tight hug. "Jay, Nya, this child has a special gift, I wish that he should be the leader for the new generation of ninja, that is if you will allow him to fight." Sensei Wu bent down and handed Kolby his wooden staff and placed his sun hat onto the toddlers head.

"Each battle will be harder than the last, it is sad to say, that most of you will feel the pain of losing as child." Sensei stood back up, turning his back to us, Kolby ran back over to Nya and Jay, holding onto the wooden staff as if it was his lifeline.

Cherry blossoms began to spin around Sensei engulfing him, until he was no more. Our Sensei, the wisest man in all of Ninjago, was gone. I turn around and start heading back to the ship, but something stopped me. A strong wind blew through my hair, and it whispered, "Never forget who you really love." I glance at the others, them seemed, un-phased, like they didn't even feel the gust of wind.

Kai, Jay, Cole, and Zane walked back off the ship Cole carrying Sensei's signature teapot, while Jay held Kolby in his arms. Ashley, Taylor, Nya, and Leah, picked nearby wildflowers. Setting the items at the base of the Cherry Blossom tree.

I close my eyes, It can't be true..

Why must everything I love disappear?

I felt somebody grab my hand, by the cool sensation only in a certain spot on the palm of my hand indicates that its either Nya or Taylor. I open my eyes and look down, the chocolate diamond ring that rested on their ring finger told me it was Taylor. "Come on Haley, you need to get to school." She said in a gentle whisper.

My eyes widen in surprise. School? Are they serious? They want me to go to school even after all this?!

I rip my hand away from the leader, and run onto the ship. With my hands on my face, there was nothing to hold back my emotions now. What I had said to Kai earlier was now a complete lie. I can't handle anything anymore.

Lloyd's POV

With tears in my eyes threatening to spill, I watch Haley's retreating form run onto the ship. My... Uncle, he's gone...

The Bounty started to rise and I quickly jump off. As the ship becomes a dot in the distance, I turn my attention back to the last place my uncle stood in this world. I pull my mask off, I groan as I'm forced to push my shaggy, greasy hair out of my face. I rub my eyes, making them even redder. I hate being so weak.

I walk over to the large Cherry Blossom tree. Falling to my knees, tears streaming my face, "I'm sorry Uncle." I say in a whisper.

"For what are you sorry for my nephew?" My head snaps up and I come face-to-face with my, uncle?

"Uncle?! You're-you're.." I stutter, how is this even possible?

"Though my physical body has left this world doesn't mean my spirit has." I look down in shock, "Now, what is the matter?" Looking up I meet his onyx gaze.

"Uncle, I've messed up, please help me."

"Lloyd, my time has come and gone; and you know that. You are old enough to take care of yourself from now on. But, I will tell you one thing my nephew. You and Haley; your love for one another is unbreakable, and because of your undying love for each other. You will spend you lives with one another. You will know when you must return. Goodbye, Lloyd." A gust of wind blew through us, and within a matter of mere seconds, my uncle was gone.

For good.

Nobodies POV

Lloyd and Haley's paths will meet again, in time. But for now, they must find their own way, and hopefully the paths they choose will cross again. They will get married, they will have kids, and they will live happily ever after.

But here's the thing about that, happily ever after is just a term that is used too loosely. To get this ending of a story, this magical, lucky-go-happy ending they have to sacrifice, they have to endure more pain than their separation from one another.

As for the other ninja? Their turn will come. They all will suffer, but in the end. They will get a happily ever after.
