Sanji stood stock still at the gallery window. His cigarette was long forgotten on the floor and his heart had stopped for a second. There was this...this..this freaky guy on deck. The crew members were actually talking to this guy like they've known him for years. And they actually liked him. He could understand Luffy, Usopp and Chopper liking him since they were simple minded to these kind of things but his Nami-swan and Robin-chwan even liked him. Hell, the cyborg and skeleton were practically dancing around him singing.
A curly eyebrow twitched. Sadly, that wasn't what made this situation so freaking surprising. The surprising part was that damned swordsman. He was wearing a pair of tight pants that showed off his toned ass, not that Sanji was staring because he was observing, and a light blue fitted sweater with a pair of black boots. The shirt, from where Sanji could see, said 'Deep Sea Lover' written in green and white letters and it covered Zoro's stomach completely. The outfit made the stupid moss head actually look adorable and maybe cute at the same time.
He would have kept admiring if that damn guys hand wasn't on hi-, Er, the crews swordsman. It was just lingering a bit too close to Zoro's ass and he'd be lying if he said he didn't feel like breaking that hand. As he kept watch it to make sure it didn't travel lower, Sanji felt eyes boring into him and reluctantly glanced up.
When he caught the eyes of Robin, he was kind of pissed that his usual joy of seeing her was far from his mind. Watching her, Sanji caught the words she mouthed and decided to go join the crew in their welcoming of their new 'friend'.
Exiting the gallery, everyone turned Sanji's way. Luffy, seeing the cook, grew excited. "Sanji C'mere! Look at his ears, their really long and cool."
"Ya know. I use to jump rope with ears that long." Usopp said catching Luffy's attention instantly.
"Really?!"
" 's not much the Great Captain Usopp hasn't done."
"Coooool!" Luffy yelled, hopping up from his sitting position.
"Hey Sanji." Chopper whispered from by Sanji's leg as he gripped the pants leg real tight.
Leaning down so that his ear was near Chopper, Sanji whispered right back. "Yeah."
"This guy said he's God." looking up at Sanji with big eyes, Chopper said "You think he's telling the truth?"
Standing up, Sanji looked at the so called 'God' and said "The only God I know of is in heaven."
Enel, sensing the cook a long time ago, looked up and feigned surprise. " Why hello. You must be the cook the crew was talking about. It's nice to meet you, I'm Enel." he said holding out his hand to the cook.
Sanji just stared at the hand and then at the owner of it. "Sanji." he stated with absolutely no emotion as he continued to stare at Enel.
Letting his hand drop, Enel looked at the cook, then back at Zoro who was just staring at Sanji like he was an idiot, but Sanji had completely forgotten Zoro was there until Enel made an announcement.
Looking at his watch, Enel faked a surprised face. Glancing at Zoro, Enel said "We gotta get going before we're late."
"Yeah, your right." Zoro said as he turned to the crew and said " We're gonna get going 't be late on the first date right. " he joked half heartedly, making everyone laugh at his fake nervousness.
"Pardon." Everyone stopped laughing to see Sanji gazing at Zoro. "Did I hear right?" he questioned. "Did you just say Date?"
Putting on a confused face, Zoro said "Yea. That's what I said."
Taking a deep breath, Sanji spoke slow enough for Zoro to understand the back meaning to his words. "Can you come with me for a second?"
Turning around, Sanji began to walk to the lower deck. Making sure the crew wasn't following but Zoro was, Sanji continued walking. As he got closer and closer to their destination, Sanji tried to calm himself. He was not mad that Zoro was going on a date. There was no way he was mad at that. He was just mad that he decided to go on one while he was pregnant with their child. Yes. That was the only reason for his anger.
Upon reaching Zoro's room, Sanji stepped in with Zoro behind Zoro go pass him while he closed the door. Sanji tried one more time to calm his anger.
"So whatchya wanna talk about?" Zoro questioned and there went his anger restraint.
"A date? Your going on a fucking date, Marimo ?!" Sanji spat with so much venom, you'd be an idiot to know that he wasn't about to explode.
"Cook, it's just a stupid date."
"If it's so stupid, then you don't have to go." Sanji said as he turned to face Zoro.
Zoro's face screwed up with anger on his own. " What's so bad about me going on a freaking date?"
"Oh, I don't know shithead. It couldn't be that your pregnant. With My child!" Sanji all but screamed.
"Yea and it's also my child, that I'm carring, so what's your point?" Zoro said trying to keep calm.
"Your going on a date with someone you don't even know we-"
"That's the freaking point of a date,idiot!" Sanji flinched from Zoro's outburst.
"I'm suppose to get to know him. Jesus Christ, it's not like I'm trying to run away with him. I just wanna go out and have fun with someone other than the girls. Is that so freaking wrong?"
Sanji stared at Zoro before saying "Then maybe you should say something."
"To who, Sanji!? I would love to know who I could ask to go out with that isn't loud, annoying or a girl." Zoro sneered at the cook.
Me, Sanji thought but quickly wiped it from his mind. "Okay. Well ask anyone that isn't this guy. I don't want you to go with him."
"And why the hell not?" Zoro questioned.
"Because." Sanji started " he was touching you."
Zoro stared at Sanji like he had lost all his brain cells. "Because he was touching me Sanji. That's why?! It's a freaking date. You touch people. You touch women everyday but you don't hear me saying 'Sanji don't follow her because she was touching you'. It's not like I'm fucking him Sanji. Loosen the hell up." pushing pass Sanji, Zoro went up the stairs and retrieved his 'date' before leaving.
Sanji stared out Zoro's room window and watched Zoro and Enel walk along the dock before seeing Enel reach for Zoro's hand. Feeling a flare of anger, Sanji watched them more until they turned the corner. Walking to the window, Sanji opened it and jumped down on the dock . Quickly walking, Sanji lit a cigarette, thinking. 'Im just gonna follow them to make sure nothing happens'. Turning the corner, Sanji kept his distance from the couple.
Back on the deck, Nami, Robin, Franky and Brook watched Sanji turn the corner.
Smiling, Nami whispered "Perfect."
Humming in agreement, Robin leaned into Franky.
"This is going to be Suuper~" Franky said. " Sanji-bro and Zoro-bro are gonna be together finally. "
"Yes. It's about time they do. It was breaking my heart watching them. That was if I had a heart Yohohoho."
Franky and Brook danced their way to the middle of the deck starting a ruckus with Chopper, Usopp and Luffy. Sighing, Nami glanced over her shoulder at the group.
"Zoro so owes me for this." Nami said, leaning her elbow against the rail, with her head in her hand.
"Don't Worry Navigator. I'm sure it was worth it." Robin Said as she walked towards the kitchen to make herself coffee, with Nami walking behind her.
"yea, your probably right. " Looking back at the crew, Nami silently entered the kitchen. "Alright Robin. The first part of the plan is in motion, but how do you suppose we'll get those idiots to help with the second part."
Placing a cup of coffee in front of Nami, Robin said "Lets think about that after we drink out coffee, shall we ."
"Che, there's no way a bastard like him could actually afford something like this." Sanji said from his hiding spot outside the restaurant Enel and Zoro were currently eating at. It was a first class diner and sanji felt offended that they both went causal while everyone else wore dresses and suits. " Do these idiots not know how to 'dress for the occasional'?
Inside the restaurant, Zoro was thinking the same thing. 'Why the hell would Nami buy me something like this to go to a classy place like this?' Zoro thought as he looked around the restaurant to see everyone in suits or expensive dresses.
"This wasn't her choice, . " Zoro glanced at Enel to see that he paused in his eating. "I stopped her earlier, after you had abandoned them, to ask if I could pick the place instead. It took quite a lot of persuading to get her to agree."
"Why'd you let me dress casual? And why'd you dress casual?" Zoro asked as he began eating again.
"I'm God. I should be allowed to wear what I want ,when I want."?
"And they just let you?" Zoro asked.
"Of course. You don't say no to a God. You cater to them." Enel said, as he went back to eating as well.
After both were done eating, they exited the restaurant. Enel was fully aware of the cook following them but paid no attention to it. Having the cook follow them was even better for the even glanced back and caught the cooks eye before turning around. Putting his arm around Zoro's shoulder, Enel led him to where a fireworks show was suppose to be held.
Sanji cursed under his breath.'So he knew I was tailing them all along.' Sanji thought as he continued to follow the couple. He couldn't stop his trailing all because he was found out and besides, he didn't care if Enel knew, but for some reason the thought of Zoro finding out made his heart contract. He could just imagine how the swordsman would feel.
Sanji stopped a few feet away from the couple and watched how the floating lanterns shined. The lights hit Zoro at all the right angles. He watched as Zoro talked to Enel. He couldn't hear what they were saying, so he moved a bit closer.
"-one-sided loves the worse type of love."
Zoro whispered, looking up at the sky.
Knowing full well that Sanji was now in hearing distance, Enel began talking.
"Don't you have something over him?"
"What?" chuckling , Zoro looked at a passing group of kids and said " I'd never hold something like that over him."
Enel studied Zoro for a moment before saying " Why would you fall in love with some one who doesn't love you?"
Staring at Enel, Zoro said " Wow. You really don't know any thing about feelings do you?" since he got no reaction, Zoro continued " You don't choose who you fall for. Your heart chooses, I guess you could say."
" And this person who you've fallin' for, does he know?" Enel asked.
Sanji leaned a bit closer to the couple to hear the rest of the conversation. He was actually quite curious about how this conversation would end. It wasn't everyday you could hear the usually emotionless idiot spilling his heart out.
"Of course not." Zoro said with a sad smile. " How could he fall for someone like me?" Zoro honestly questioned. 'Who wouldnt?' thought Sanji .
Taking this as the perfect moment, Enel lowered his voice an octave and said " Well maybe you need to look somewhere else to fall in love." and with that he slammed his lips against Zoro's.
Zoro gasped at the sudden bold move and was rewarded with a tongue in his mouth. Frozen, Zoro just let Enel kiss him. Seconds later, he was rewarded with air and was being roughly dragged away. He glanced over his shoulder at Enel, who was on the floor holding his stomach. Looking at the person dragging him, Zoro's breathing stopped. Even though he knew he was mad, Zoro was really happy to see Sanji.
Sanji continued to drag Zoro back to the ship. He let Enel get away with touching him but kissing him. As soon as he saw their lips connect, Sanji had stopped breathing. He watched Zoro's reaction and saw him frozen and he was sure it was out of surprise. Not wasting anymore time, Sanji kicked Enel away from Zoro and kicked him multiple times in the stomach before dragging Zoro of.
Mentally clearing his head of all the thoughts in his head, Sanji looked ahead and stared at the ship. When they arrived on the ship, Sanji could feel Zoro struggling in his grip but ignored it. Taking the idiot down stairs, Sanji noticed that none of the crew members were on board anymore and the thought made Sanji smiled. Perfect.
Reaching Zoro's bedroom, Sanji flung the door open for the second time that day and pulled Zoro in before locking the door. Turning around, Sanji finally tuned in what Zoro was saying. He saw Zoro rubbing his wrist and almost grimaced at the red skin there.
" Dammit Sanji. Why couldn't you just loosen your freaking grip?" scowling, Zoro kept massaging his wrist before looking up at Sanji.
"And what the hell was that? I could've handled that myself. And how did you know where I was unless...unless...Dammit Sanji, you were freaking following us weren't you. You fucking bastard how could-"
Sanji tuned out Zoro's bickering and started walking towards him. After a look at Sanji, Zoro stopped talking and became fearful.
"sSanji...are you okay.?"Zoro almost cursed his voice for sounding so shaky.
Stepping away from Sanji, Zoro was stopped by Sanjis hands. They were planted on his hips and in a second, their lips were clashing for dominance. Laying Zoro on the bed, Sanji never broke the kiss. He started letting his hands roam enjoying the sounds the moss head was emitting. Leaning back and staring at the flushed and heavy breathing Zoro,Sanji smiled.
Catching Zoro's eyes, Sanji began to take off his jacket and then slowly began to undo his tie. "You should listen to people when they tell you not to do something Zoro. " Sanji whispered in a husky voice.
Hearing, Zoro whimper, Sanji leaned down and kissed his lips before attacking his ear and whispering " Don't get too relaxed Marimo. Punishment is definitely needed." Moving down to play with the gold earings Sanji said " and don't worry, it's not painful at all. Gotta watch out for the baby after all ."
