OK, this chapter might be a little weird, even for this story...I'm not apologizing -_-

Anyway have fun!

Chapter 14: Nagini on Vacation

So it turned out, that when Linda had said beach, what she had really meant to say was full fledged tropical resort. She had explained to them that she had won the trip in a bet with another restaurant owner from the building just a few blocks over; Harry had only ever seen it before in passing. It was a really classy place, one of those restaurants where you needed to book a reservation months in advance. Anyway, Linda said the owner was a right ponce that liked to poke fun at the quality of her diner. So she made a bet with him that if her diner made more profit by the end of the week than the restaurant, then he would have to fund their next "Company trip".

"What if you had lost?" Harry had asked her at the same time one of the twins asked, "We have company trips?".

"We do now, and if I had lost," his employer shuddered, "Then I would've had to go on a date with the Snobbish louse! So to improve our chances, I may have had the twins inform a few young women around the city...and in a nearby all-girls school, about the attractive and possibly single men who would enjoy lunch at a certain diner everyday."

Harry blinked and the twins looked a little sheepish. "...What?"

Adele spoke up, "We beat the restaurant by seventy-three cents!"

Harry looked back to Linda, "Is that why you had a picture of Tom on hand?"

She shrugged, "Well we needed proof that there were in fact handsome blokes hanging about...and we might of told people they were models." Harry could hear Dakota laughing is furry butt off out in the hallway.

So that was why Harry was currently lugging his trunk downstairs to the living room, packed for a three day trip to a tropical resort. Harry noticed as a second trunk settled beside his own. Riddle stood there grinning, "Well this is going to be interesting, don't you think so Harry?" The ravenette rolled his eyes at the man. He and his other two housemates decided to tag along by purchasing their own tickets on the flight to the resort, because why the bloody hell not? They were only in the muggle neighborhood because of Harry in the first place; so it would make sense that they would follow him if he were to go somewhere else. Not that he really minded anyway, it was funny to watch the proud wizards interact with the muggle world, especially Lucius as he has the least amount of experience with it.

They were going to apparate to the airport, but not to the resort itself as They were expected to meet up with Linda and the others. The twins had gawked at him when they learned that his housemates bought their own tickets on a whim.

Harry had decided to let Milly look after Dakota for the weekend; as he learned that plane travel was not very good for a dog. The place they were going to probably wouldn't allow them in the first place. Milly seemed to really like him anyways, and the German Shepherd was perfectly fine with the attention she'd spoil him with. Back home, the teen left his window open for Hedwig to come and go as she pleased.

Nagini had not been so easily placated. She had been adamant about coming along. Harry had tried to explain why it would not have been a good idea. He had looked to Sila for support, but the little garden snake only slipped away to tend to their hatch-lings. Eventually Tom came by and set his familiar straight with a firm command to stay put. The python slithered off, sulking. She must have still been cross, because Harry had not seen her at all that morning.

As they all gathered in the living room, luggage in hand, Lucius took Severus's hand; Tom took the blonde's shoulder and wrapped an arm around Harry's waist, who squirmed in response.

"I been informed that you are not particularly good at remaining on your feet after magical transportation." The man justified; he smirked as the teen huffed. Then, with a loud crack they were gone.

They reappeared in a secluded area of the airport. Tom's grip on Harry tightened as the teen stumbled. His smirk turned to a grin as Harry's face turned red and told the dark lord to shut up. They moved to merge with the crowd of muggles bustling around the airport. It wasn't long before they located their travel companions. Eddy waved them over when he spotted them.

As they approached Linda looked over at them and clapped her hands together "Alrighty, seems we're all here! Let's start boarding then!"

It was fun for Harry to watch Lucius eye the metal detectors suspiciously. Snape heard him snicker, "He's never been on a plane before has he?" Not that Harry had ever been on one either, but the idea didn't really scare him.

Snape replied with, "He's not overly fond of the concept of sitting in a few hundred tons of metal over fifty thousand feet in the air. It took a good deal of persuasion on my part to even get him out here." Harry's amusement took a moment before being replaced by horrific realization as to what his potions professor was implying. The security guards gave him an odd look as he marched through the detector with a bright red hue on his face.

Boarding the plane Harry took a seat by the window, and Riddle settled beside him. Harry raised an eyebrow at him. "There is no way you just happened to purchase the seat next to mine." Harry looked down at his ticket. "See, you have a different number." Just as he said this, a man in a gray business suit wandered over to them, "Excuse me sir, but I think this is my seat. Harry saw Riddle subtly wave his hand before he asked the muggle, "Are you sure about that, my ticket says this seat number right here." He showed him the ticket. The muggle looked at his own ticket again. "Oh Sorry mate, my mistake." Riddle nodded to him as he continued down the aisle, he turned to give Harry a smug look. The teen rolled his eyes, "Sneaky bastard."

After a little while, they were ready to take off. The plane's engines started up and Harry watched the runway begin to pass them by out the window. Harry looked over to Snape and Lucius who sat in the row next to them in the middle aisle of the plane. Lucius seemed to bristle like a frazzled cat, with a death grip on Snape's hand. Said potions master, unfazed, merely focused on the thick, black covered book in his lap.

Harry leaned back in his seat moving along with the sensation of the plane finally leaving the ground. It was exciting to say the least. He glanced over at Tom. He was surprised to see that the man appeared quite tense. His eyes seemed to be glued to the back of the seat in front of them, like he was trying to avoid the windows; his hands were digging into the arms of his seat. Was it possible that he was just as nervous as Lucius was? "Hey Tom? Are you alright?"

"Of course I am." The dark lord told him shortly, before refocusing on the seat in front of him.

Harry hummed unconvinced. He needed to distract Tom somehow; get him to relax. "Hey, do you think if Dumbledore had an animagus form, that it would be a spectacle-wearing goat?"

Riddle's gaze, in fact his whole head, snapped to him, "What?"

"Would Dumbledore be a spectacle-wearing goat? He has this goat-like vibe going on, but I can't picture him with out his old man spectacles." Harry heard Snape snort from across the aisle.

Tom's shoulders lost their tension as it seemed he was visualizing Harry's statement. The teen smiled when the man couldn't repress a sudden guffaw at the idea.

"You know, it seems Dakota can smell a wizard's animagus form."

Riddle looked fascinated by this, and seemed to completely forget that the world below was steadily shrinking outside the plane's window. "Really now?"

"Yeah, he said you were some kind of snake."

The man nodded, "I'm an albino King Cobra." He nodded over to the other two beside them. "So what did the mutt determine those two were?" Harry paused as he tried to recall what his canine familiar had told him. "He said that Snape is either a crow or a raven, and that Malfoy is a wolverine."

The blonde snapped out of his own attempts to pretend he was somewhere other than on a plane and glared at Harry, "I'm a what?!" The teen blinked at him. Riddle hissed to him . :He hasn't seen the need to learn animagus transformation.: The ravenette laughed at the blonde's repulsed expression. "Could be worse you know, you could be a rat like Pettigrew."

The rest of the flight was spent in idle conversation. Just menial topics meant to distract the uneasy wizards. At one point Harry dug out his sketch book from the small bag he brought with him.

Severus looked up from his reading and blinked a few times to give his eyes a break. He glanced over to the window by Potter and his lord, but his attention was caught by the movement of parchment in Potter's lap. The boy seemed to be flipping through a sketchbook. It took him a moment to realize that the illustrations were creations of the boy's own making. The potions master watched as Harry flipped through his works. Then one drawing in particular caused a spark of recognition to flare in his coal-colored eyes. "Potter, what was that last one?" The teen nearly jumped out of his seat and slammed the sketchbook shut with whip-like speed. "N-nothing, just a scribble!" the brat inelegantly sputtered.

The man's eye's narrowed suspiciously as the boy's face flushed and Tom's lips stretched into a smirk. He was about to inquire further about Potter's reluctance to show him the drawing, when the plane shook jerkily as it encountered some turbulence. The professor had to grit his teeth with a hiss as Lucius's death grip on his hand had returned full force.

Harry let out a breath of relief as it seemed he was forgotten about. Then he noticed that Tom had also become rather rigid during the plane's rattling. The teen raised a hand to the man's upper arm. "It's fine Tom." he told him. The man shot a look at the teen who smiled back at him. Tom slowly relaxed once more.

Down below with in the darkness of the Plane's cargo hold, a maniacally hissy laughter could be heard inside the bulky travel bag marked: Tom M. Riddle

~HPTR~

Out of all the passengers, none were more relieved then a couple of certain dark wizards when the plane finally reached it's destination. In the midst of disembarking the wizards regrouped with Harry's muggle coworkers. Linda scooted up to the front of the pack.

"All right everyone, There are a couple cabs outside waiting for us. So grab your bags and let's hop to it.

Outside, Harry marveled at the lovely tropical scenery around them. He vaguely heard Linda tell someone the name of the hotel they would be staying at. "Tell the driver to take you to the Indigo Hotel, we'll meet you there in the other car."

Harry turned to catch up with the group and join his house mates in the surprisingly large cab. Harry had his eyes glue to the window as the vehicle drove down a road by the sea side. "I've never been anywhere like this before!" the teen said aloud with child-like excitement. The other three shared a look.

It wasn't long at all before they reached the hotel. The driver informed them that someone would be along to handle their luggage shortly, and then instructed them to check in at the front desk in the lobby. When they entered the luxurious building, Linda was already at the front desk talking with the concierge. The others were hanging around off to one side of the lobby. As they approached it seemed they were looking over a bulletin board that listed off all sorts of activities provided by the hotel. Tom placed his hand on Harry's shoulder and told him,"I'll be right back." before gesturing for Lucius to follow him to the front desk, probably to check in as well.

A couple bellhops were collecting the luggage of their new guests. Stacking the bags on a trolly. Nobody notice that one of the bags began wiggling. The zipper slowly moved down the the side as something nudged at the small opening until there was enough room for Nagini's head to poke out. Her tongue scented the air and she eyed her surroundings. :This will do nicely heeheeheehee~:

One of the bellhops came back with another bag and screamed as he spotted Nagini sticking out of one of the bags. :Time to go.: she sunk out of her hiding spot an retreated into the bushes nearby. :Let's find something to eat now.: The foliage in front of her rustled and out trotted a chestnut brown capybara who froze at the sight of her. If snakes could drool. :Big rat~...come to Mommy Nagi!: She sprang forward and the large rodent shrieked and narrowly dodged her fangs before bolting back into the bushes. Nagini snickered as the chase began.

~HPTR~

Harry watched the front desk as Riddle spoke to the concierge. He saw when he was handed a couple keycards, Riddle turned to say something to Linda who was looking confused about something, waving the keycards at her as he did so. Harry wondered what the former Slytherin was up to when his boss started laughing and the man looked over to him, smirking and then winked at him. The ravenette blinked, ' I wonder if I should be worried' he thought for a moment.

Riddle came back over to their group and Harry eyed him. "What was that about?" The teen jumped as an arm wrapped around his waist. He suddenly found himself being led away from the group.

The taller man told him, "Nothing to worry about; now, let's go get ourselves settled."

"But I don't know what room I'm staying in yet, I need to get my key from Linda." Something was pushed into his hand and Harry looked down to see a keycard with a room number on it. He looked up at Tom, "Did Linda give you this?"

"Like I said don't worry about it."

They entered the elevator and Riddle hit the button for the third floor. Once there, Harry looked down at his keycard, "309." He glanced to the doors on his right reading off the numbers. "305...307...here we go, 309." he slid the card through the little lock mechanism and pushed the door open. He stared in awe at the cozy looking room with a big window over looking the beach. "Wow, this is lovely." He set his bag down and blinked when another bag was set beside his. He looked up at Tom. "What are you doing?"

The man grinned, "Why I'm simply getting settled in, Harry, is that so odd?"

Harry just stared at him before he swiped the man's keycard from his hand and read the number off "309...You moved me into a doubles room with you, didn't you?"

"Well, your mostly correct."

Harry looked confused before he simply rolled his eyes and went to pick a bed; except he was quickly stopped in his tracks. "Tom, why is there only one bed in here?" he turned around to further interrogate the older wizard, when he found himself shoved onto the cushy queen-sized bed. "Oomph!" the teen pushed back up with his elbows to throw a glare at Tom. Emerald eyes grew wide as Tom bent down, placing his hands on either side of Harry. A predatory gleam glazed over his crimson eyes as he shot forward fast enough to press his lips to the beautiful boy's before he could think to escape.

Harry moaned as large hands moved to his hips; thumbs rubbed soothing circles just under the hem of his shirt. His hands hesitantly came up to slide around Tom's neck. The dark lord responded with a low growl and nipped at the soft rosy lips. Riddle lifted Harry further up the bed with ease so that he could pin the boy to the mattress. Harry melted when a tongue slipped inside his mouth. He was frightened to find how easy it was to lose himself in Tom's arms; his body trembling over the sensations building up between the two supposed enemies.

Knock knock knock

Both males froze at the interruption before simultaneously turning their heads to the door. Riddle snarled and pulled away from the teen, marching over to the door. Harry scrambled to sit up and try to straighten himself out. He attempted to will away the red from his cheeks.

Tom pulled the door open and glared venomously at the person on the other side. Adele blinked," Did I interrupt something?"

"Yes." The man replied bluntly, making Harry drop his jaw a little in shock.

Adele leaned over and searched behind the irritated wizard. Spotting Harry, she clucked her tongue and look back at Tom mischievously. "Wow, we've been here for all of twenty minutes and you've already tried to jump his bones."

"Hey!"

"Hey yourself, now hurry up and meet everyone down in the lobby; we're heading down to the beach!" With that the twin sauntered off down the hallway. Harry heard Riddle groan. "Taking orders from muggles, this is what I've been reduced to." He brought out his yew wand and flicked it at his luggage. The bag open and out zipped black swim trunks and a green towel into his hands. He heard the boy snickering behind him.

Harry yelped when another towel was thrown over his head.

Nagini shifted in the top branches of the tree she was presently lurking in. Sharp eyes scoured the area for the giant mousy morsel she had set her heart on having for dinner. It was a quick and clever beasty to have given her the slip; but her keen sense of smell would soon betray it's hiding place.

Said morsel was taking refuge under a picnic table occupied by a family of five. The capybara ducked and dodged away from bumping into the feet of the unaware family. It was a stressful situation to be caught in, but at least it had given the strange, and very likely insane, predator the slip.

Crack! Fall! Thunk!

"Ahhh! Snake!" The capybara jumped as the family rocked the table in their efforts to flee the scene. The oversized rodent froze all movement as the sound of shifting came from a top the table. Then, backing up slowly, the critter tried to pinpoint where the sound was heading. Silence fell. The capybara continued to back up until it's rump bumped into something solid. It turned around.

:Hello Fatty Ratty~.:

A terrified squeal sounded throughout the resort.

~HPTR~

The hot sand of the barely crowded beach was soothing around Harry's bare feet; he, along with his group of companions, settled in for an afternoon of relaxation. Although, Adele and Carrie were quick to seize the teen's arms and drag him away to another group of guests; three tall guys and a short, but springy girl who were using the volleyball court. "Hey can we join in?!"

Harry struggled in their grip, panicking, "I don't even know how to play volleyball!"

Carrie grinned down at him. "Don't sweat it, we'll teach you, but I'm sure you'll pick it up quickly enough." She and Adele were already sharing competitive glances with the other group. One guy pointed out. "It wouldn't really be a fair game since there's four of us and three of y'all."

The twins smirked, "Your right Cowboy, if you have another friend around you should add them to your team."

The same guy smirked, "Suit yer selves, girlies."

Harry sighed and rubbed a hand down his face as Adele briefly went over the rules of the game.

Meanwhile, Linda and Eddy were about done applying sunblock to their skin. They got up and Linda threw a look behind her. "Well are you fellas gonna swim or what?"

A large umbrella hovered over five folding lounge chairs, three of which still occupied by the three wizards in question. Severus was already nose deep into another book, whilst Lucius was lounging next to him; the sun glasses over his eyes making it look like he was sleeping. Tom raised an eyebrow at the aggressive muggle woman.

Linda raised an eyebrow right back at him, before she shrugged, "I see, well if you can't swim, then there's no helping it."

Riddle growled, "I can swim bloody well enough!"

Severus and Lucius wondered if they should be concerned that their "great and powerful" leader was so quick to rise to the bait.

"Oh? If your so sure of that, than how about you putting your skills to the test?" Linda pointed to the buoy that bobbed far out into the water. "First to the buoy and back to shore treats the entire group to dinner tonight."

Lucius pick then to point out, "Aren't your expenses already covered by that rival restaurant owner?"

"Anything having to do with the hotel will be covered. However, I'm more in the mood to try a nearby local restaurant. I heard it's pretty damn fancy."

"And you can afford such a place for everyone?"

"Won't have to; I'm not gonna lose." She shot a challenging look at Riddle.

"Fine, you have yourself a bet madam."

The two of them, followed by Eddy, hurried over to the shoreline. Tom and Linda lined up and waited for the silent cook's signal. Eddy raised his hand up and held it there for a moment. Then he swiped it downwards sharply; Riddle and Linda shot forward towards the ocean water. They leaped in and swam for the buoy. Eddy was left on the beach and shrugged before following after them for the hell of it.

Lucius pushed his sun glasses down his nose as he watched his Lord compete with a muggle woman. Shaking his head, he looked over to Severus. The man wore a black T-shirt and brown shorts. Lucius smirked as a most brilliant idea came to him. Said potions master noticed the attention he was now receiving and bit out lowly, "Don't. You. Dare."

The blonde aristocrat stood up and scooped the sour man into his arms, ignoring the squirming and the threats to his person as he carried his load over into the water and dunked them both under.

~HPTR~

A woman was caught in the middle of a splash fight with her sister, "Surrender Sadie!"

"Never!" came the rebellious reply of the younger of the two; who dove under to grab her sister's feet and knock her under water. They both came up for air and started laughing at the result of their own antics. Neither noticing a long, dark shape looming closer to where they swam.

The younger sister squeaked when something brushed against her foot. "Get off my foot, Amy! God that felt so creepy."

"I'm nowhere near your foot." They blinked at each other before a long scaled body rose up between them. The older of the two came face to face with a large scaly head. :Did you happen to see where the big rat escaped to?:

"AAAAAHHHHHHH!" Both women scrambled to get to shore. Floundering as the water splashed around them, slowing their clumsy retreat.

Nagini watched them swim away before she continued her own swim around the beach; The water not being nearly as cold as it was in Europe. :Rude ladies, could have just said no.:

~HPTR~

Tom was just ahead of Linda as they raced to the buoy. The waves were a little rougher this far out but he'd be damned if he was going to let a muggle beat him in anything. With that in mind he practically slapped the buoy before pushing off and began heading back. He passed Linda just as she reached the buoy herself.

The woman gritted her teeth as she lagged behind. There was no way she was going to let that punk beat her to shore. She heard the approaching sound of a motor; looking behind her, she grinned evilly.

Eddy was a few feet away from the buoy, but had slowed down a lot as he was very much out of breath. When he reaches the buoy he intended to take a well deserved break..

Tom was feeling rather confident that he had this competition in the bag. Though of course he wasn't heartless; He would let the woman out of her part of the bet...after she begged him for a few hours.

While reveling in his impending victory, The dark lord was not prepared for a muggle speed boat to zip by and throw off his pace. He openly gaped as he realized Linda was holding tightly on to a rope that was attached to the boat. "See you back on dry land, Buddy!" she called as the water vehicle dragged her away.

Tom's sputtering shock turned into irritation, He aimed his hand towards the arrogant woman with a wandless hex on his mind, before a large wave trailing behind the boat rained down on his head and dunked him under.

Eddy sat upon the buoy, taking in the sight of the unending ocean on the horizon. He took a deep breath of the salty sea air as he took his time to appreciate the beauty of this environment. To think that some people hated the ocean. With one more relaxing inhale, he was ready to head back to shore. The bulky man leaned forward enough to dunk a foot into the water before he froze in place. His eyes now wide and following the movements of a gray dorsal fin jutting sharply out of the water. He slowly removed his foot from the water and scooted back against the buoy. The mute man looked up towards the distance between him and the shore, and frowned pitifully.

~HPTR~

Harry was jumping around with the twins in a victorious celebration. They had completely crushed the other group. Harry was excited that he had managed to score the winning shot. He found that despite his height he could jump just as well as he could run. The other team was either sitting or lying flat in the sand, totally exhausted. Carrie wandered over to their side of the net and held out her hand. "Good game, everybody."

The guy sighed and took her hand, letting her help pull him up. "I underestimated y'all, I'll admit."

Adele piped up, "How about we all wind down with a nice, cool, relaxing swim?" all were in agreement with that. As they entered the water, something caught Harry's eye. He raised his hand just above his eyes to keep the glare of the sun from blinding him. Further out, he could only just make out a buoy with a darker shape moving on it. Was that a person? His curiosity, as usual, got the better of him as he decided to swim out to it. It didn't seem too far away anyway.

It took him a few minutes before he got close enough to realize the shape was Eddy. "Hey Ed, what are you doing out here?!" he called to him. The man just kept waving frantically at him. Harry's eyebrows scrunched in confusion as the man started pointing repeatedly behind him. The ravenette looked behind him and yelped at the sight of an approaching dorsal fin, "Shit!Shit!Shit!" Survival instinct kicked in as he swam faster than ever to Eddy and hauled himself onto the buoy. A pointed tailed whipped the water along the surface almost frustratedly as the shark missed his chance for a bite. Harry looked over the side of the buoy to examine the carnivore that chased him up there. It wasn't like a great white or anything, but it was still big enough that Harry figured that he did not want to take his chances.

He leaned back and sighed before looking over at Eddy, "...So how are things?"

The cook proceeded to give him the most sarcastic thumbs up he had ever seen.

Back on shore, Riddle clambered out of the water; now drained of most of his energy. He made it back over to the lounge chairs, briefly noting the drenched state of Lucius and Severus. His irritation solely focused on the curly-haired, middle-aged diner owner.

Said woman leaning back in her chair comfortably before smirking, "I never specifically said swimming was the only method allowed to win our little race."

Beside her Severus sounded in agreement, "She's not wrong, Tom. That was rather Slytherin of her, don't you think?"

Linda blinked at them. "What?"

Tom pinched the bridge of his nose and sighed, deciding to take his defeat with some dignity. "Well played; and let it not be said that I'm not a man of my word. Dinner is on me."

Linda nodded with satisfaction, before looking around. "Where's Eddy?"

~HPTR~

Eddy and Harry were in the middle of their tenth round of rock, paper, scissors, when they heard their names called. They both watch in horror as the twins swam up to the buoy they were still trapped on. The young wizard frantically searched for the tell tale signs of a shark fin. "OK girls, uh... you might want to join me and Ed up here on this nice comfy buoy." The mute man nodded with urgency beside him.

"Um...why?" Carrie asked. She felt her sister tap her shoulder and slowly point to their left. "What is tha- Oh my god!" A few moments later a certain buoy was getting a little crowded. All of them watching the shark's circling movements. Harry groaned,"I swear that thing's glaring at us."

The shark dove a little deeper out of sight and continued to patrol the area, waiting for something edible to hop back into the water. As the animal prowled about another carnivore drew near. Nagini was growing bored with her underwater adventures as she couldn't seem to locate any prey worth chasing. Perhaps the big rat never wandered into the water after all? Movement then caught her attention and her long body swung in that direction. As the water got deeper it was becoming a little too cool for her liking, but her discomfort was instantly forgotten when she spotted it. :Water rat?:

'Didn't this fish ever get bored?' Harry leaned over and glared at the dark, circling shape that was the shark. Suddenly the shape abruptly changed direction and bolted away vanished into the blue of far away waters. Harry stared surprised before a nearly larger and much longer shape zipped after the retreating shark. He jumped back, 'I don't think I want to know what that was.'

"You there!" someone called.

The group trapped on the buoy searched around for the source of the voice. The Twins cheered as a large sail boat came near them. An older gentleman steered the boat just beside them. "you all shouldn't be out this far; that buoy marks when you start reaching shark hunting grounds."

Harry let out a little laugh, "You don't say? I don't suppose we could trouble you for a lift back to safe, shallow waters; could we?"

The elder grinned cheerfully, "Climb aboard, Friends!"

~HPTR~

By the time the group returned to the hotel, it was later in the evening. Everyone was comfortably full from the fancy dinner Tom had treated them to. The man had , of course, made sure to keep Harry close to him the entire time; especially after hearing the Twins blab about their little experience with the shark in some exaggerated detail.

Originally the plan was just for everyone to return to their respective rooms for the rest of the night. That plan changed, however, when Tom had spotted a chess board in the den attached to the lobby. Still very much miffed about being beaten by a muggle earlier that day, he challenged Linda to a game. He walked over to the man behind the main desk and requested to bring out the game pieces. Both too distracted to see a certain reptile sneak it's way into an open elevator.

A single game soon turned into a tournament between everyone, the exhaustion of a full stomach replaced by the enthusiastic fire of competition. Both the Twins were defeated by Eddy who in turn lost to Linda. Lucius absolutely crushed Harry, before playing against Severus. It was a very close game, but Severus took the victory there. Tom had bested the potions master easily enough though. In the end it was between Tom and Linda. They received a few looks from the other guests as the Twins rooted them on. Tom made his next move and leaned back in his chair with his arms comfortably crossed and smirked, "Check."

Linda was wearing a sort of blank poker face expression, her finger lightly tapping on the arm of her chair. She proceeded to sit up straighter before taking a hold of her last rook and made her move, "Check mate."

Harry snickered as the over confident man's victorious expression dropped faster than a rock. Whilst the dining staff were giving the winner high-fives, Harry pulled the stunned dark lord back to their room.

Exhausted the teen grabbed a change of night clothes. "I'm going to take a shower first." he told his "roommate" before stepping into the bathroom. When he was finished Riddle took his turn in the bathroom and Harry crawled onto the comfy bed. Ready to turn in, but a little nervous about sleeping with Tom. It wouldn't be the first time, but the first time wasn't on purpose. He still wasn't used to the amount of affection that man was determined to pepper him with.

Harry was close to nodding off when he heard the bathroom door open. He blushed at the sight of a shirtless, well muscled torso. When he realized that the older man caught him staring, he rolled over and buried his face into a thick pillow to hide his embarrassment. He felt the bed dip and a warm weight press down on his back. He felt a nip at his ear, causing him to turn his head to the side. He wasn't expecting the lips that were waiting for him. They lay there for a while, Riddle wrapping his arms around his prey. :You're beautiful: he growled to the young wizard.

:...Make many hatch-lings~!:

Both wizards sputtered and scrambled to sit up; both startled by the sight of a familiar python-viper mix staring at them, intently. :Nagini! What in Morgana's name are you doing here?! How the bloody hell are you even here?!:

:...I flew?:

Riddle glared at the massive bump in the serpent's middle, :Why are you so fat? Who the hell did you eat?!:

:...Water Rat? Tasted funny though.:

Riddle's crimson glare narrowed further as he grabbed his wand and summoned a cage, magically sucking the serpent inside it, :I'll deal with you in the morning: Tom hissed at his disobedient familiar. The she-snake sat there, now sulking.

With a frustrated huff, the man turned back to his favorite Gryffindor. Yet he paused as he discovered that the teen had fallen asleep.

~HPTR~

Harry found himself standing near the base of the Whomping Willow; a hooked claw was gripped in his hand. He was startled by the sound of a child's cry and looked around desperately for the source. Pinpointing the direction of the cry, he took off towards the forbidden forest at a run. The forest seemed to grow darker and darker the further he ventured. It got to the point where he could hardly see an inch in front of his face; but something about that cry pushed him on, as if he had no choice but to keep going. The ravenette's foot caught on something, forcing him to crash into the forest floor. As he pushed back up he found the he was in a clearing. The area was dimly lit by strange, green glowing moss patches that covered the surrounding trees and rocks. He realized the cries had stopped, in fact there was no sound anywhere.

"Farewell, my boy. Such a disappointing waste."

Was that Dumbledore? His green eyes scoured the shadows. He whirled around and froze. The young wizard was faced with familiar red eyes filled to the brim with sadistic hatred, then he knew nothing but green light.

"AAAH!" Harry shot up from the soft hotel bed. His legs tangled in the sheets, sending him to the floor. Breathing heavily, it took a moment to remember where he was. Why would he dream of something like that?

Someone knelt beside him and a hand settled on his shoulder. Looking up, he jumped at the sight of red eyes. "Harry?"

"uh...I...I'm fine. Did I wake you? I'm sorry."

Tom raised an eyebrow at him, before shaking his head and taking the younger's hand. He led Harry back to the bed and laid him down, pulling the covers back over the two of them. He never noticed that the cage in the corner of the room was now long empty.

Who else felt like this was something out of a manga? To make up for that, I thought I'd throw you guys a little bit of plot towards the end there. ~Ooooh foreshadowy-dream~, what could it mean o_0?

And who can tell that I've never been on a plane or a resort in my life? Do I get points for trying?

Guys, we are slowly coming to a close for MY New Neighbor, believe it or not. I predict about 2-3 more chapters to go.

Next: There are still two more days at the resort; they may get a bit smexier...
