Korra arrived to find Asami sitting on a log and started "Asami I'm..."

"Save it Korra!" Asami interrupted, "we've already been through whatever apology you concocted so just say your peace and leave!" she finished.

"Don't to this to me!" Korra then got on both knees "I'm sorry okay! I'm so sorry, I'll do whatever I can to make this up but I don't want you...

"Don't want to me to what?! Leave?! You made sure of that the minute you walked in that murderer's cell." The look Asami had on her face can literally kill, but Korra was avoiding her gaze by looking downward at the ground. "I wanted to get away from you so fast, I didn't even ask the question that has been on my mind the entire time.

...what did I do wrong?!" a tearful Asami asked.

"You did nothing wrong! It was me and I can't even properly explain why... it just happened!" Korra replied, the exact words she is looking for being hard to find.

"Look me in my eyes and answer this, do you love Kuvira?" Asami asked with an icy stare.

"...yes" Korra said, almost a whisper. She didn't want to hear herself tell Asami she was also in love with another woman.

"Then we have nothing to talk about, I'm sorry Korra... I love you, but even love has it's limits and I reached it, good bye!"

Asami got up and left, leaving a downtrodden Korra alone by herself. At least she thought she was by herself. "Twinkletoes, as many times you have messed up in both of your lifetimes I knew you, this by far is the worst." Toph shouted on a nearby rock after she observed the entire romantic scuffle.

Korra just shook her head and said "I know.."

Back in the prison cell, Kuvira was playing a game of Pai Sho with Chief Beifong.

"Ten in a row..." Lin started, "I guess I was never one for strategy just solving crimes and locking people up, after I beat them to a bloody pulp of course" she finished with a loud sigh of frustration for losing this many times to the younger metal bender.

Kuvira laughed and said "Well, you can thank your sister for that, she taught me everything I know.. including Pai Sho.". Lin then retorted "I don't think she taught you building a twenty five story mech suit and leveling half of the city, and if she did we need to have some words."

With a sad laugh she replied "I guess not..."

Lin then put a hand on Kuvira's shoulder and said "You have a good head on your shoulders, I just wish you made 'rational' decisions or you wouldn't be talking to me in here right now. I'll try to talk to my sister into giving you a few minutes of the day to walk around outside once you get to Zaofu, under heavy security and with platinum bindings on of course. You're not a Red Lotus driven on causing chaos, just misguided... and not even you deserve seeing prison walls twenty four hours a day for the rest of your life."

"Thank you Chief." she replied, appreciating Lin's kindness towards her. "Well it's either that, or have Korra take away your bending so you wouldn't pose a threat anymore." Lin quipped.

"What was that?!" Kuvira asked, unsure of what Lin just said.

"Taking away your bending, much more likely you would be released from prison sooner should you elect to do that." Lin explained while she reorganized the Pai Sho tiles.

"Where do I sign up?" Kuvira excitedly replied.

"Wow, you're are literally the only bender I know who would willingly have their bending taken from them, for many people it's like.."

"...an extention of their bodies, I know." Kuvira interrupted "But this means I have a greater chance of being with Korra, and I would sacrifice anything.. even my bending for that to happen. You don't understand Chief, I love her" she stated with a determined expression.

"Chief, visitor for Kuvira!" a White Lotus guard yelled. "Who is it?" Lin asked, not wanting random people coming in to see her like she was some sort of science exhibit.

"Future Industries CEO Asami Sato!" he replied.

The perfect description for the looks Kuvira and Lin gave each other would be 'Oh shit', Lin then told Kuvira "I can send her off, there isn't going to be any violence in this prison"

"No... I'll talk to her, I'm the cause of her grief and it's only right I face her." Kuvira said with a soft tone.

"Are you sure?"

"Yes."

"Alright, I'll let her in but I will be standing outside of your cell on standby in case anything happens." Kuvira then nods her head then Lin goes and escorts Asami in the prison cell.

Once inside, Lin is already standing by ready to deter any violence once she sees Asami close the gap between her and Kuvira. It seemed like an eternity they were standing face to face at a breath's distance, then Asami made the first move.

She kissed Kuvira like two lovers reuniting after not seeing each other for years.

A confused Kuvira was looking at Lin standing outside the door with wide eyes while the woman who's father she killed was kissing her. Lin responded back by an equally confused look and thought to herself 'how does she do it?'

Asami then backed off and said

"I needed to know for myself why Korra did what she did..."
