A Different Life
Chapter 14
I haven't done a disclaimer in a while so here it goes.
I don't own Naruto or any of its characters, just this original plot and my oc's. Although I do wish I had some say in how Naruto went but alas I don't.
Sasuke stood with sweat sliding down his face, black marks adorned his face. His face was shaped into a scowl. He subconsciously deactivated his sharingan as he fought back the enticing voice in his head. For the last week of training Kakashi had decided to train Sasuke in using his curse mark he received from Orochimaru. The training had been going well but he couldn't use it for prolonged periods of time before being overtaken by his dark thoughts. He still remembered the first time Kakashi found out about the seal.
(Flashback)
Sasuke laid face down on the ground. Kakashi stood over his student's rising back. When Sasuke's back stopped moving indicating he had stopped breathing Kakashi quickly flipped him over. Surprise flooded Kakashi's face as Sasuke gave him a malicious smile before fire erupted from his mouth.
An explosion rocked the area they occupied. A cloud of black smoke obscured the two shinobi. Before anything else could happen a ball of lightning cut through the smoke flying towards the trees. In the trees Kakashi crouch on a small branch. The ball of death was upon him. He jumped higher into the tree dodging the attack.
"So Orochimaru got his hands on you…that's quite unfortunate, I'll have to let Minato sensei know about this." Kakashi said calmly as he analyzed the situation.
Sasuke remained silent as an evil smile appeared on his face. He stalked towards his selected prey. Kakashi sighed just before Sasuke disappeared in a fiery haze. He reappeared above his sensei with his arm cocked back.
"Katon: Hayabusa tsubasa no jutsu."
A large wing made of fire emerged from his arm crashing into Kakashi. Sasuke began laughing manically as he reached the ground. As the smoke dissipated a frown found its way onto Sasuke's face as he looked at the charred branch in place of his sensei.
He quickly turned swinging his fist only for it to be caught. Kakashi looked down at his branded student before delivering a hard chop to his neck knocking him unconscious.
An hour later Sasuke's head snapped up. He shivered as cold sweat soaked his clothes. He looked around him. The darkness of the night surrounded him. The only light was the fire that burned a few feet away from him.
"Here take these, your clothes are soaked." A familiar voice said from the darkness.
Kakashi's masked face appeared from the other side of the fire. His body appeared next as he stood up and began tending to the fire. Sasuke quickly took the clothes and went to change.
He came back to find Kakashi reading a small pink book. He seemed to be ignorant to his surroundings but Sasuke knew better than that. Just to check Sasuke picked up a small stick and threw it as hard as he could at his sensei.
Without looking up from his book Kakashi caught the stick and threw it back in one smooth movement. Leaning to the side letting the stick harmlessly fly by his face.
"Do you remember anything?" Kakashi asked putting his book away.
"Just the sound of that snake bastard's voice but after that it's all black." Sasuke answered.
"Why didn't you tell anybody?" Kakashi questioned him.
"I didn't want to be disqualified." Sasuke said confirming Kakashi's suspicions.
"Orochimaru's curse seals are not to be taken so lightly Sasuke, you could have put yourself in danger not to mention everyone else." Kakashi said chastising his student.
Sasuke gritted his teeth, "I know that but I will not let some coward with a snake fetish stop me from getting what I want."
The two sat in silence for the next minute. Sasuke sighed in frustration as Kakashi walked away. His sharingan flashed as he turned to go release some frustration. He grabbed his neck as he felt the curse mark pulse.
"That's it young Sasuke feed the fire of hatred," Orochimaru's voice whispered from the depths of his body.
As if he sensed his student's anger Kakashi turned around with his signature eye smile.
"Hey, since you're so determined I'll help you keep that seal in check until we find a way to remove it." Kakashi said from across the clearing.
A small smile appeared on Sasuke's face. He released his sharingan as all of his previous anger disappeared.
(Flashback Over)
"Sasuke, get your stuff together Minato-sensei wants us back early." Kakashi yelled.
Sasuke closed his eyes focusing on releasing the dark power from the seal. The black marks receded and his eyes returned to their original color. He turned towards his sensei with narrowed eyes.
"Why do we have to be back early?" He asked.
Kakashi sheepishly scratched his head, "Well uh you see sensei is worried that I might make us late and get you disqualified."
Sasuke sighed as he shook his head. His sensei was one of the strongest shinobi in the world and yet something as small as being punctual could ruin him. He gather his things before walking over to Kakashi.
"You ready?" Kakashi asked.
Sasuke shook his head in a positive manner. Kakashi flew through a set of hand seals before slamming his hands on the ground. A cloud of smoke appeared and from the smoke walked a large black dog with a spiked collar.
"Take us to the port Bull." Kakashi commanded the dog but not as a master but as a man who had raised the dog from birth.
The dog nodded, Kakashi and Sasuke hopped onto the dog's back. With his passengers secured on his back Bull took off with surprising speed.

Naruto sat down as he flashed through hand seals. Doing his best not to slip up and form the wrong seal.
"So you still haven't got that one down?" A manly voice asked behind Naruto.
"Nah, I got it a few days ago I just want to make sure I don't make mistakes." Naruto answered turning to face Harou.
"I just received a message from your dad, he wants us back early so he can talk to you." Harou said walking up to him.
"Alright, I planned on resting the next couple of days anyway." Naruto said standing up.
Harou walked a few feet in front of Naruto before forming the boar seal followed by the snake seal. He placed his hands on the ground and a sealing formula appeared from beneath them. The ground beneath the formula began to crumble until only a black hole was left.
"Come over here Naruto." Harou told his relative.
Naruto walked over with a look of amazement. Harou had shown him plenty of fuinjutsu over their month of training but he had the same sense of amazement every time he performed a high level seal.
"What's this called Rou?" Naruto asked calling Harou by the nickname he gave him.
Harou smiled, "This is another Uzumaki seal my great grandfather created it, it's called Uzumaki Ryū: Toguchi."
"Toguchi? A doorway to what?" Naruto asked curiously.
"You'll see come on." Harou said placing his hand on Naruto's shoulder.
Naruto stiffened as foreign chakra invaded his body. Harou jumped into the hole pulling Naruto with him. An infinite amount of darkness blinded him. He didn't feel anything or hear anything for a few seconds. He could hear the sound of muffled voices in front of him. He felt the weight of Harou's hand leave his shoulder. He opened his eyes blinking uncontrollably as they adjusted to the light. When his eyes adjusted he found himself in a small room.
"Now do you know what the seal does?" Harou asked stepping in front of him.
Naruto looked down at the floor below him and spotted the same sealing formula from before.
"It transports whatever is put into that hole to the twin formula, it's kind the Hiraishin." Naruto said deducing the technique.
"Correct but unlike the Hiraishin this technique is not instantaneous among other differences." Harou told him.
"Why did you send your chakra into my body before?" Naruto asked.
"You'll have to figure that out yourself." Harou said in a playful tone as he pulled his mask down, "Now come on we have to meet your dad."
Naruto sighed and followed Harou who had turned into his alter ego Yūrei. They walked out of the small room into another room. Naruto recognized it as one of the rooms at the hotel they were staying at. Naruto followed Yūrei out of the room down to hall into another room. To his surprise Shikamaru and Neji and their fathers were sitting with his father.
"You can never be anywhere on time can you." Shikamaru said followed by a whisper of troublesome blond.
"It's not my fault I didn't know we had to be back early." Naruto said as he walked into the room.
"You look like you've gotten stronger Naruto." Neji said eyeing Naruto.
"You'll find out when the tournament starts." Naruto said with a sly smile.
"The kid hasn't even been in the room for five minutes and you two are all over him." Shikaku said.
"It's okay I-." Naruto began to say before the opening of the door interrupted him.
Everyone turned their attention towards the door. It opened revealing…nothing. A gust of wind flew through the room. A few seconds passed and a familiar masked ninja followed by his Uchiha student.
"You were always one to make an entrance, eh Kakashi?" Shikaku asked.
Kakashi gave his famous eye smile, "We saw a sea creature on the way here so we decided to take the long way."
Everyone sweat dropped at Kakashi's most recent ridiculous excuse. Sasuke wore an indifferent look on his face as he stood there.
"He's not lying we did see something on our way here." He confirmed.
"A sea creature, hmm not the strangest thing I've heard." Hizashi said finally speaking up.
Naruto shrugged, he turned to talk to Harou only to find an empty space. He sighed inwardly as he realized Harou had performed one of his silent disappearing tricks again. He was snapped out of his thoughts by a hand being waved in his face.
"Troublesome blond, I wonder what goes on in that head of yours then again I don't want to know." Shikamaru said to him.
"Did any of you guys see Ha- I mean Yūrei leave?" Naruto asked in futility.
Everyone shook their heads in the negative sense.
"That's quite amazing, he managed to sneak out of here without alerting Shikaku or I." Hizashi said in slight admiration.
"Yeah he's one of our best for a reason." Shikaku added.
Kakashi nodded in agreement, "So speaking of Yūrei, what did you learn during your training?"
"Like I told Neji, you'll have to wait and see Kakashi-nii." Naruto said turning to leave.
His advance was stopped by the door opening once again, only this time it revealed Minato. He flashed Naruto a smile as he stepped into the room.
"Who would have thought that the reputed fastest man alive to be the last to arrive at a meeting he set up?" Kakashi joked.
The room stayed in silence, the two Hyuga kept up their cold demeanor along with the stoic Uchiha. The two Nara held back their laughs by smirking. Naruto and Kakashi shared a laugh, while Minato switched to hokage mode.
"Enough with the jokes we're to enlighten these young shinobi on the harshness of the upcoming exam." He told them.
"Hai hokage-sama." They all announced.
"I'm assuming your respective sensei told you who your opponent was?" Minato asked the boys.
"I will be in a three-way fight with both of the mist Nin Kotai Gyorin and Sawayaka Shiokaze." Naruto said.
"I'll be fighting the Oto shinobi and Kusa shinobi." Shikamaru announced.
"And I'll be fighting the Kumo kunoichi along with the puppeteer." Neji answered.
All eyes fell on Sasuke who seemed to be pouting. He mumbled something but not loud enough for them to hear it.
"What was that Sasuke I couldn't hear you?" Naruto teased.
"I said I have a first round bye." He yelled.
"Who would have thought that the elite Sasuke Uchiha would take the easy route?" Shikamaru said with a smirk on his face.
A tick appeared above Sasuke's eye, "I didn't choose to get a bye."
"Alright calm down boys save that for later." Kakashi said putting a hand on Sasuke's shoulder.
"Good now I hope you four studied your opponents, even each other." Minato told them.
The four boys shared a look. The boys smiled at the thought of fighting each other, minus Shikamaru. Minato turned his head to the left just as an ANBU member appeared beside him. He leaned down and whispered something into the hokage's ear. Minato nodded before standing up.
"It seems I have other business to attend to, I'll see you boys at the finals." He said before walking out of the room.
"If you would excuse us, Neji and I have to meet my brother at the gate." Hizashi said getting up.
"Wait I thought you weren't welcomed in Kiri?" Naruto asked looking at the Branch Head.
"True they do not like me here but I will not let grudges of the past stop me from seeing my son become a chunin." He answered in an even tone.
"I wouldn't worry about it. These Kiri wouldn't dare cross Konoha with Minato-sensei here." Kakashi said from his book.
"Kakashi's right, they just settled their civil war they can't afford one against us and our allies." Shikaku added getting up, "Come on son let's go play some shogi."
The two Nara said their goodbyes before leaving the room. Kakashi was left in the room with his two male students. He looked at them from behind his book.
"Well it looks like I'm stuck with you two." He said.
"Sorry Kakashi-nii I'm going to spend some time with my mom, see ya." Naruto said before leaving.
"So it's me and you ag-." Kakashi said turning to Sasuke.
A large sweatdrop appeared on Kakashi's head as he saw that the spot where Sasuke sat was empty. He shrugged before digging his face back into his little pink book.

The sun was shining and the air was cool in Kirigakure. The streets were crowded with people as they raced to get to the stadium. The finals for the chunin exams were set to start in a few minutes.
Naruto glanced at some of the contestants sizing them up. His eyes landed on his opponents, Kotai and Sawayaka. Kotai had changed his attire but nothing to drastic. Kotai wore a sleeveless dark blue shirt with matching pants taped at the ankle. His nodachi hung loosely at his side.
Sasuke held his head high in typical Uchiha fashion. He had even donned a new Uchiha battle jacket his father had given him when he arrived that morning. It had short sleeves and a high collar, on the back of it was a giant Uchiha fan. It was made with the same material as standard chunin vests.
The mysterious grass shinobi who hid his face under his dark hair, stood perfectly still. Whether it was intentional or not was unknown. Naruto couldn't help but frown, the shinobi oozed malicious intent.
He snapped his head towards the proctor, Utakata, who had begun to speak.
"Before we begin I would like to thank you all for coming. Lady Mizukage is pleased with the outcome of our exams and we hope continue with that success. Today we will witness either the rising or the downfall of the up and coming generation."
The crowd roared in anticipation. Utakata stood silently as he let the crowd enjoy themselves. A few seconds later he held his hand up silencing the crowd.
"Without further ado we will begin the first fight, will Naruto Uzumaki, Kotai Gyorin and Sawayaka Shiokaze step forward. The rest of you can take your seats in the competitors section." Utakata said directing the genin.
The three chunin hopefuls stood facing each other. Utakata walked between the three with a dry look on his face. He raised his hand giving the three of them a looking asking if they were ready getting three positive nods back. He dropped his arm signifying the start of the match.
"Hajime!" He said as his body turned into water.
Kotai didn't waste any time. Naruto jumped back dodging a sword strike as Kotai sliced through the water left by Utakata. He expertly went through a sequence of hand seals.
"Fūton: Daitoppa no jutsu." A large gust of wind erupted from Naruto's mouth sending Kotai backwards.
Seemingly forgetting his second opponent Naruto received a kick to the lower back. He rolled forward only to roll into the outstretched sword of Kotai. Naruto's eyes widened as he looked up at the smiling Kiri shinobi.
"You didn't last long at all Uzumaki scum."
Ino and Sakura gasped at the sight before them. Ino gripped her best friend's arm as tears threatened to roll down their faces. They looked around them and none of the other Konoha shinobi seemed to care that Naruto had a sword in his chest.
"Don't any of you care, Naruto is dying?" Ino asked a bit loudly.
"She's right go stop the fight Kakashi-sensei." Sakura told her sensei.
No one paid them any mind they kept their focus on the fight. Shino looked over to his comrades.
"You two should have more faith in Naruto-san he's one of the strongest genin in the village." He before turning back to the arena.
"Shino is right look closer, Naruto is smiling." Hinata added.
The two distraught girls took a closer look and they did indeed see he was smiling.
Back in the arena Kotai was confused as to why his dying opponent was smiling, "Hey what's so funny about dying?"
"Maybe it's the part about me not dying." Naruto said from behind him.
Kotai turned around seeing Naruto behind him. He turned back around finding nothing but a puddle of water in front of him. His face contorted into one of pure anger as he swiftly moved to slice Naruto in half. Naruto made a quick hand sign as the two Kiri nin moved to attack him.
"Suiton: Suiben no jutsu." Four whips made of water rose from the puddle created by Naruto's Mizu clone wrapping around Kotai's limbs.
Naruto quickly pulled his katana out before disappearing from sight. Sawayaka stopped his advance as he looked around in confusion. He went to free his teammate from his restraints.
"No Sawa it's a trap." Kotai screamed but it was too late four more tendrils of water had already trapped Sawayaka putting them face to face.
"Well—well it seems you two have gotten yourselves in quite the predicament." Naruto said appearing behind him with his sword resting on his shoulder.
Kotai looked at his teammate with guilt filled eyes, "I'm sorry Sawa but I have to do it."
Sawayaka looked back at him nodding, "it's okay Kotai I understand I can take a little pain."
Kotai smirked before giving Naruto a death glare. Kotai closed his eyes, Naruto stopped moving towards them as he felt a buildup chakra coming from Kotai. His eyes popped open revealing a change. His irises were yellow and his pupils were pitch black. Sawayaka led out a horrible scream. Naruto could see blood flowing down his body.
"What are you doing to him he's your teammate?" Naruto asked staying calm.
"I'm doing what I have to do to win." Kotai answered before breaking free from the water constructs.
Kotai's eyes followed his teammate as he fell to the ground. Naruto could see what the chakra buildup was. Kotai had activated his bloodline, the sango hada. His body was now covered in protective coral. Some people had made the mistake of thinking it was normal coral but it was harder than steel. He had studied the Gyorin clan over his month of training and he knew that it would be tough getting passed the sango hada but he prepared for it.
"I'm going to end your pathetic little life right now." Kotai said charging Naruto.
Naruto readied himself brining his katana in front of him. A whistling sound filled the air as wind chakra surrounded his legendary blade. The two blades met causing sparks to fly. Naruto smiled as his sword easily cut through Kotai's.
He swung his blade down intending to cut Kotai across the chest only for it to be blocked by Kotai's coral covered arms. Naruto pressed down trying to break through his defenses. Kotai's foot shot out delivering a snap kick to Naruto's midsection. Naruto jumped away to create some space.
"Oh no you don't Uzumaki." Kotai said chasing after him.

Up in the spectator's booth Minato sat next to his wife who had a slight worried look on her face. He grabbed her hand causing her to look at him.
"Is there something wrong honey?"
"No…well it's just that out of all the kids in this exam Naruto had to face one from the Gyorin clan." She answered.
"What's so bad about that, I've never heard of them having a problem with Konoha or the Uzumaki clan." Minato told her.
The Mizukage looked at the couple out of the corner of her eye. She knew that Minato knew she was listening but she didn't care she wanted to know what grudge the Gyorin had against the Uzumaki it could possible put her village in danger.
"Well that's because no one does or at least it wasn't public knowledge." She told him.
"What do you mean Kushina?" Minato asked in a rare moment of confusion.
"When Uzushiogakure was first formed many clans came to be a part of it some were accepted and some were denied." She said looking at the fight.
"And the Gyorin were one of the clans that didn't get accepted." Minato said getting a nod from his wife. "But that doesn't explain why they hate the Uzumaki I mean they did get to be a part of Kiri."
"It's how they became a part of Kiri, the first Mizukage was a paranoid man he didn't trust the Gyorin since he knew they tried to be a part of Uzushio. Eventually he let them join the village but it cost them everything. He took their land and all of their clan holdings and they've been treated poorly ever since." Kushina said revealing a secret piece of history.
Minato nodded, "Well you still shouldn't worry about Naruto he does take after his dad after all."
Kushina couldn't help but smile at her husband's goofy antics. Mei smiled as she looked at the couple but it soon turned into a frown as she focused back on the fight.
"Well let's hope he does because Kotai takes after his father as well."

Naruto dodged another strike from Kotai's razor sharp coral covered hand. Naruto had found out that the coral what not only hard but it had sharp jagged edges capable of ripping skin.
"Stop running Uzumaki and let me rip you to shreds." Kotai yelled chasing Naruto.
Naruto stopped forming the hand sign for one of his favorite techniques. Three clones appeared in front of him.
"I need you guys to hold him off until I finish this sequence of seals." He told them.
They nodded, "You got it boss."
The clones charged Kotai clashing with him. Naruto silently cursed as one of his clones fell victim to a coral enhanced elbow to the head. Kotai made quick work of his clones and was now less than ten feet away from Naruto.
"Suiton: Taibu suirō no jutsu." Large amounts of water shot up from the ground all Kotai forming into a large cage made of water.
"You should know suiton jutsu won't work on me." Kotai said punching the bars made of water.
His arm was half way through the bars when Naruto vanished, reappearing on top of his creation, "I hope you like winter because it's about to get a whole lot colder."
Naruto pressed his hand down on the top of the prison. A sealing array spread from his hand to the top of the water cage.
"Uzumaki Ryū: Tōketsu." As soon as the words left Naruto's mouth the water began to freeze locking Kotai in place.
Naruto jumped down in front of Kotai who had his arm half way through the frozen water. Kotai snarled as Naruto got closer. Naruto pulled out his wakizashi and put it to Kotai's neck.
"Yield."
"Never, I would never concede to Uzumaki scum." He yelled.
Naruto sighed before delivering a vicious blow to Kotai's head with the bottom of his blade. Naruto turned to where the proctor sat.
"Call the match, he's done." He began walking back to the competitors section.
Utakata appeared back in the arena. He grabbed Naruto as he walked passed him. They both stiffened as brief chakra link was established. Naruto pulled his arm away and continued staring at the jonin.
"Kid I haven't called the match you can't leave yet." Utakata said getting over his shock.
"Well call it." Naruto said as he walked away. "Oh and Kurama said to tell Saiken to quit being such a lazy bastard."
Utakata locked his eyes on the kid. Everyone knew that Naruto was the jinchuriki of the nine-tails but his identity as the six tails jinchuriki was kept under wraps. He would have to let Mei know that the kid knew. He turned his attention to the two unconscious Kiri ninja and sighed.
"Kotai Gyorin and Sawayaka Shiokaze are unable to continue, Naruto Uzumaki is the winner and will move on to fight in the final round." Utakata said addressing the crowd.
The crowd roared in excitement once again. He had to give it to the young jinchuriki, it was a great fight. Maybe even good enough to get promoted. He turned towards the stands where the next fighters sat.
"Would Kirā Sando, Musei and Shikamaru Nara come to the arena please."
The Oto shinobi was the first to reach the arena floor followed by Musei. Shikamaru stood in the stands analyzing his opponents. You could sense their bloodlust from a mile away. All Shikamaru could see was death when he looked into their eyes. He finally made his way to the arena with his opponents.
"It seems you have gotten the short end of the stick Nara." Kirā said with a malevolent smile on his face.
"Two shinobi raised to be murderers from birth and one little Nara." Musei said from behind his hair.
The quiet tone that he spoke in sent shivers up Shikamaru's spine. He inwardly sighed, why didn't he just forfeit? It was too late he was down on the arena floor and he had just given the proctor the nod telling him he was ready.
"Crap." Shikamaru thought as he ducked under a kunai.
He quickly retreated to the edge of the arena. He threw a couple of smoke bombs to cover his retreat. He activated the technique he had been working on with his dad.
"Kage-Ketsugō no jutsu."
He blended into the shadows as he hugged the wall. He watched his opponents battle it out. As he watched them fight he knew that staying away from them would be the best thing for him. Like they said he was in the worst situation, they were natural killers looking to kill. They were so busy trying to kill each other that they had forgotten about him.
He cringed as he saw Kirā stab Musei in the arm with a kunai only for Musei to start laughing. The seemingly insane grass shinobi ripped the kunai out of his arm throwing it to the ground.
"You should go back to your little start up village." He said in his quiet tone.
"Don't worry I'll be right back there after your cold dead body hits the ground." Kirā said looking to the wall. "Along with that Nara hiding in the shadows over there."
Fear filled Shikamaru's entire being as Kirā locked eyes with him though the shadows. His mind was boggled, how could he see through his technique?
"I have to get out of here." Shikamaru said deactivated his technique which proved to be a mistake.
As soon as Shikamaru stepped out of the shadows a kunai pierced his shoulder. He let out a scream as the momentum of the kunai pinned him to the wall. He saw the two killers fighting and making their way closer to him. He once again activated his shadow technique. Once in his technique he pulled the kunai out. He grimaced as he moved his arms to perform the hand seals for his next jutsu. He knew this would use the majority of his chakra but it was either that or forfeit and he didn't want to hear the backlash.
"Kagemane no jutsu." Dark tendrils appeared from the shadows Shikamaru hid in.
The shadows stalked towards the two preoccupied fighters. They froze as their shadows connected with Shikamaru's. Shikamaru stepped out of his technique once again. He could feel his chakra reserves depleting quickly. He didn't say a word as he stepped as turned to his left making them face each other. He felt a burst of chakra as one of them broke free from his technique.
"I forfeit." He said closing his eyes.
He opened his eyes to find a kunai no less than an inch away from his eye. He looked up at Utakata holding back Kirā's hand.
"Contestant Shikamaru Nara has conceded defeat, his is disqualified from the tournament." He said letting go of Kirā's hand. "You may go back sit in the stands with your comrades."
Shikamaru nodded before walking back to the stands. He walked up the stairs meeting the faces of his teammates.
"Hey buddy you did good, chips?" Choji said offering some chips.
"I would lo-." Shikamaru managed to get out before passing out.
"I got you kid." Asuma said catching his student. "You made us proud."
I know it's been way too long since my last update but I've been extremely busy this summer and I will continue to be since school is starting up soon. I will try my best to consistently update my stories from now on.
I hope you liked Naruto's and Shikamaru's fight. I wanted to do something different for Shikamaru but I just didn't see him winning that fight. Well anyway Neji's fight is up next chapter and then the finals.

(Katon: Hayabusa Tsubasa- Falcon Wing) – C-Rank, offensive, short to medium range. A falcon's wing made of fire covers the users arm(s) and can be used in conjunction with taijutsu or flung as a ranged attack.
(Uzumaki Ryū: Toguchi- Uzumaki Style: Doorway) – A-Rank, supplementary, all ranges. A secret Uzumaki technique that allows the user to create a doorway through space and travel to a twin sealing array.
(Fūton: Daitoppa no jutsu- Great wind breakthrough) – C-Rank, offensive, short to mid-range. A sudden gust of wind use to blow the opponent away. The power of the technique can vary due to chakra input.
(Suiton: Suiben no jutsu- Water whip) – C-Rank, offensive/supplementary, short to mid-range. The user creates a whip made of water that can wrap around the opponent. The user can also channel lightning chakra to shock anyone wrapped in it.
(Suiton: Taibu suirō no jutsu- Great water prison) – B-Rank, supplementary, short range. Like its parent jutsu Taibu suirō locks its victim in a water construct. Instead being a ball of water the user creates a cage.
(Uzumaki Ryū: Tōketsu- Uzumaki Style: Freeze) – C-Rank, supplementary, short range. Once this seal is placed on its target it causes all of its molecules to come to a halt instantly freezing it.
(Kage-Ketsugo- Shadow bond) B-Rank, supplementary, short range. This technique allows the user to merge with nearby shadows hiding them from sight. It has a constant but minimal chakra drain.
