Zekrom hissed, punching its claws into the Dark-type's face. Yveltal bared its fangs, digging its feet into the other's stomach. As it flew backwards, a ball of electricity formed in Zekrom's claw, and it shot it forward to the other. The Pokémon dodged by rolling over, lunging forward before taking flight. It tackled the large legendary into the mountainside, rocks and dirt falling from the collision. Roaring in anger, Zekrom kicked the Dark-type, thrusting his head forward to knock the beast.

"Reshiram, get up, please!" Touko shouted, hearing as Zekrom roared in pain. The legendary Pokémon lifted its head, turning to stare up at its master. Reshiram placed its head back down, closing its eyes with heavy breathing. Running towards the Pokémon, Touko sat down on the ground quickly to cradle Reshiram's head on her lap. She felt weak for letting her Pokémon be beaten to a pulp. Running a hand along the soft fur, she leaned close as she began to rock slowly. Reshiram was breathing heavily, a wound on its shoulder bleeding.

"I never m-meant for you to be hurt this m-much . . . I'm sorry. Reshiram I-I'm so sorry! When th-this is all over . . . th-this will never happen again," Touko whispered, kissing the Pokémon on the cheek. Reshiram opened its eyes carefully, staring up at its master.

"Do not be disappointed in me, my master."

Touko shook her head, holding the Legendary closer. The princess felt as a hand pressed against each of her shoulders. Touya and Cheren stood behind her. Reshiram looked forward, seeing as the sun was dipping into the water. The sky was growing darker, the crust of the moon showing. Looking back at Touko, Reshiram gently pressed its nose to Touko's chest, to her heart.

"Never give up on me, Princess Touko. Just because I am almost at a loss doesn't mean you shall give up on me. Technology will never beat the strength of Pokémon in this kind of state. Technology . . . will never fully beat me down to sadden you. Please, move before you're hurt, my master."

Placing one last kiss on the Pokémon's nose, Touko slowly began to rise when Reshiram lifted its head. Moving back with Touya and Cheren by her side, Suzuki keeping her distance from the action, they watched. Reshiram began to thrust its body forward, its feet holding its lower body up before it stood up fully. Wings unfolding out, Reshiram stared down the mountain, eyeing Yveltal as it pushed Zekrom into the ground. With a sharp cry, Reshiram swooped down.

Touko turned around, worried. She could feel her body shaking. The princess was scared as the two mighty dragons began to attack the Dark-type Legendary. She saw Colress being held by Charizard, the Pokémon desperately wanting to crush the human. Touko began thinking when they met eyes. He was controlling Pokémon back in his lab, to make them do what he wanted. If Yveltal was being controlled, wouldn't Colress have the controller? Her eyes shimmered, and she stood straight when she began walking towards the bad scientist.

"Where is it?"

"Where is what? You've technically ratted me out thoroughly with your little mind. I have nothing else you would like to take from me except my clothing. Would you like bloody clothing? I would be more than happy to give them to you," Colress said in a light tune. Even though he was beaten, shot in the leg, and sore to the bone, he still held a smile. It pissed Touko off truly.

She leaned forward, sliding her hand into his pant pockets. Touko only pulled out money. Inside his lab coat, she grabbed a small device. Pulling it out, she investigated it before glaring down at him. He shrugged as he leaned close.

"Oops, it appears I did have one last thing. But there are two buttons only I know. One to set Yveltal into a frenzy of wanting to kill many more, and one to detach the controller. Heh-heh, you'll never know because I won't tell you! You'll have to figure it out for yourself, Hero," he hissed. Lifting her gaze, Touko saw Touya standing in front of her. She moved her arm forward, and Touya stared down at it, frowning.

"Whoa, I am not good at guessing games, here! You should know, I couldn't guess where you were hiding when we were little, and I ended up peeing my pants! Not to mention I couldn't guess what I was supposed to do at the dinner table a few parties ago from nervousness, and I made a complete fool out of myself! Give it to Cheren—he's the genius here, little sis!" he rushed, throwing his hands up in defense.

Touko sighed heavily. "Touya, please just pick one."

"No."

"I'll tell you a few tips for your wife," she said.

"What kind of tips?"

"To not piss her off so easily!"

"Don't start yelling now—I'm not the one wasting time here babbling!" Touya snapped.

"Fine, then. I'll tell you something I found in Cheren's room and give it to you," Touko said.

"What's that?"

"Something secretive, for your information."

Touya smiled, pointing at a single button in guess.

"Fine—deal!"

Touko ran forward, stopping at the edge. She began breathing heavily, watching as Yveltal stood between Reshiram and Zekrom. It hissed, lashing when either one moved forward or bared a fang. Looking back, Touko nodded before jumping off the cliff. She whistled, grabbing Reshiram's attention. The Pokémon flew up, turning to let Touko land swiftly on its back. Yveltal, noticing the sudden change, jumped forward, barely grazing past Zekrom's jaws. Touko leaned onward, pressing the opposite button her brother had picked.

"I hope this works!"

The action had stopped. The battle ceased altogether as if time froze. Reshiram flapped its wings, gazing down as the Dark-type halted. It looked around with its blue eyes, gazing down as Zekrom was behind it. Lifting its eyes, it spotted Touko on Reshiram. It roared quietly, moving slightly closer. Reshiram moved her head forward.

"Go back to your region and never let anyone dangerous see you again. You've been controlled . . . " Reshiram spoke, voice smooth.

"Seek shelter and rest. Your battle with us will heal, and Touko was the one who has saved your lust-filled mind for blood . . ." Zekrom growled, finishing the other's thoughts. Yveltal, looking between the two, shook its head slowly. It stared at Touko again, slight confusion showing on its face, but it also showed kindness. With a small bow of respect, Yveltal turned towards the darkening sky, moving away with speed. Zekrom moved next to Reshiram's side, the group watching as the beast flew out of sight.

"So . . . we're done?" Touko whispered. Reshiram turned her head, looking at the human.

"Our bothersome business is done, my master."

"We will go home as soon as your friend is healed, my lady."

Both Legendary Pokémon flew up, landing on the dirt path. Touko jumped off, greeted by Touya and Suzuki, who embraced her tightly.

"I have no idea what happened, and while we're waiting for the nerd here to heal, tell me every single detail! You got that, sis?"

"Gosh, you've given me too many heart attacks, Princess Touko." Suzuki laughed. Cheren stood next to Charizard, holding his arm with a pained expression. Even though he was bleeding with a shot wound, he still smiled when Touko walked forward. She hugged him carefully, wrapping her arms around his neck. He pressed his forehead onto her shoulder.

"N will kill me when we return," Cheren whispered. Touko laughed softly, bringing him closer. He didn't hug back, but pressed his forearm against her body to hold his injured arm. Her smile disappeared.

"No, I don't think so. I'm not badly injured."

"Yes, something is injured—your heart. I'm so sorry that you had to be in such a situation as that. For the rest of our lives, I will always kneel down before you and let you own my life. I don't want to see you ever be scared or hurt again. Let me protect you by N's side, promise?" he asked. Touko pulled back, giving an odd face when Cheren pressed his forehead to her own. Sounds of a helicopter were soon heard from the distance. Officer Jenny was coming already.

"Corny?" he questioned, earning a new smile from the princess.

"Very corny. But I promise you will be by my side and protect my life. Now, come on—we have to heal, you nerd," Touko murmured, pulling away. Suzuki rushed in the princess's spot, caressing Cheren's face. Touya stood by his sister's side, looking up at Reshiram and Zekrom.

"Even though I've only been here for a few hours, so much crazy crap has happened! How can you stand such a crazy life like this, Touko?" he asked. The princess gave a small smile, looking up at the darkening sky. Stars were beginning to show, the thin moon barely visible in the sky. Puny clouds rolled across the atmosphere lazily, not wanting to burden the beautiful view above. She tilted her head before looking back at her brother, tears beginning to form in her eyes.

"I don't know, but I love my crazy life."

Officer Jenny landed her helicopter on the ground; several other cops came out to investigate the odd action. Touya and Touko explained the situation slowly, informing them about the kidnapping and the experiments being held on Pokémon. Officer Jenny listened carefully, writing down notes every few seconds. Even though she took her job seriously, she had to gawk at Reshiram and Zekrom as they stood near, eyeing her. She took pictures of the damage on the Legendary Pokémon, pictures of the house and the wounds on Cheren for further evidence. Not believing an ordinary guy could control a Legendary Pokémon like Yveltal, she soon learned better when she found pieces of grey fur lying around.

Grabbing Colress, Jenny soon headed out with Cheren and Suzuki onboard the helicopter, flying them to the hospital and taking Colress to jail. He would be in court soon, being charged for kidnapping, abuse, illegal experiments, trespassing, and attempted murder, plus much more. Touya and Touko followed on the Legendary Pokémon, Charizard keeping pace with Reshiram. When they landed on the main island, Cheren was soon treated while Touko took in Reshiram to Nurse Joy for emergency treatment. When everything was finished, the siblings headed back to the hospital to wait for Cheren. Suzuki sat in the empty waiting room, waiting.

"Any news?" Touya questioned, sitting down beside the woman.

She nodded. "Yes, they said he'll be done soon."

Touko sat down on Suzuki's other side, placing her hand inside her pocket, rolling all her Poké Balls around gently. Five in total—perfect. Looking at the unfamiliar woman, Suzuki stared with a smile.

"I never properly introduced myself, s-sorry, Princess Touko! My name is Suzuki, the lost boy's mother Cheren found a while ago! I'm sorry for being a burden of y-your . . . um, royal business?"

"It's fine! Kidnapping was not part of the deal, though. So, you're the Suzuki Cheren keeps talking about, huh?" Touko questioned with a smile. Touya looked confused when the female began laughing.

"Yes, I'm the Suzuki. So, he talks about me?"

"Quite a lot on our adventure, actually. He says you're truly nice and a wonderful mother. How—?"

"How old are you?" Touya butted in. Suzuki looked at him with a smile.

"I'm twenty-five. Is that a problem with Cheren's age as well? Why, how old is he? He isn't younger, is he?" she asked, a slight worried tone in her voice. Touya waved his hands quickly.

"N-n-no! Not at all! He's a few months older than you! I—I was just wondering because you said you have a son. Why are you single, then, with a child? It's a bad thing for us royal people to have a child and not be married to another. They're bad like Touko, who become intimate before marriage," he said, whispering the last part. Touko felt her face warm.

"As if! I don't have a child, nor have I . . . d-done anything with N like that!" Touko snapped. Suzuki leaned back in her chair with round eyes.

"Not true. Cheren sent a note with my Zorua to me saying you've had sex with N already! I'm surprised, Touko—a royal princess with a personality like that already in bed with a man? Jeez"—he pressed his fingers to his lips with a smirk—"I wonder what mother would think? I bet N had to push you into doing things!"

"How does he know?" Touko rushed out.

Touya grinned and sung the sentence in a teasing tune. "The evidence on the guest bed~! Not to mention he was walking down the hall close to the bedroom. It's not hard to recognize a bed hitting the—"

"Shut up already! Like you're innocent, Touya!" Touko hissed, punching him in the shoulder. He gasped, grabbing his arm in pain. The prince stopped talking, pouting while looking in the opposite direction of his sister. He was rather mad at her for making him look like an idiot in front of another person—a woman at that—but also rather angry she had punched him. Touko could be classified as the abusive type princess . . .

Suzuki sighed, leaning forward to stare at the doors. Doctor and nurses walked in the room here and there, standing in front of the front desk, exchanging information. They never looked at the group. Touko stood up, walking out slowly to stand outside. The sliding doors opened and she stood in the night. Charizard was near, sitting close to a bench. He lifted his muzzle, looking at Touko. Zekrom and Reshiram stared down at her as well, lowering their heads to meet eyelevel.

"Tomorrow the moon will not show . . ."

"Our time here is finished, my princess. We will leave as soon as Cheren is done."

Touko lifted her hand to pat both Legendary Pokémon. Reshiram gave a small sound before it looked up towards the sky. Charizard walked forward, placing his claw against her bag. The princess looked down, then looked back at the Pokémon, confused.

"Something is calling him forward."

Slowly opening the bag, she shuffled through the little things she had brought from the hotel. She pulled out the gadget and the stone. Charizard grabbed the stone and backed away, holding it close to his chest. His tail flicked from side-to-side, eager. Blue light formed around him, expanding to engulf him fully. Wings stretching out, a new Pokémon stood before Touko. Black piercing eyes, black body. Blue flames flared from his muzzle and tail, spiked wings. He gave a grin.

"That is what beckoned him along with us . . ."

"The stone called him forward, but your heart also touched his."

Touko placed the gadget on her wrist before leaning against Reshiram, running a hand through her loose hair. She gave a small laugh before saying, "I've been so lost the past few days. So much has happened in such a short amount of time. I couldn't really place my feelings through all this; I felt numb."

"You were brave and thought about others before yourself. . . . You were not numb—you are strong-minded, strong in every way . . ."

"My princess, you have gone through something most humans could not control. Along with your friends, you were brave."

Touko gave a smile, sitting down on the ground. This was the cue for Zekrom to sit down as well, joined with Reshiram lying on its side. The wind danced in the bare trees, lifting the dead leaves. Stars shining brightly, Touko looked at the different constellations while waiting for Cheren. She closed her eyes, releasing a sigh. The princess began replaying what happened in her mind, thinking of everything slowly and carefully. She still couldn't wrap most of her feelings around it, but she caught what was obvious: She was scared, nervous, hopeless, numb, and several others. Slowly, as the minutes passed, Touko fell asleep against her Pokémon, Reshiram and Zekrom guarding over her as the night lapsed.

Later the next morning, Cheren convinced the doctors that he was perfectly fine, and he could take care of his injuries. Touya, Touko, Cheren, and their Pokémon left the islands and headed towards Unova. It was an awkward departure for Cheren as he spoke to Suzuki, trying not to let Touya notice the kiss he placed on her cheek. But sadly, having a nosy friend, Touko noticed and told her brother, causing the prince to tease him. After the farewells and hugs, the group had a quiet travel. As the hours ticked away slowly, Touko explained everything to her brother. He listened carefully.

"Sounds like you both had fun!" Touya snickered, hugging Zekrom around its neck. The Legendary Pokémon flew slightly faster than Reshiram, flying higher than the other. Touko rolled her eyes before looking beside her, meeting Cheren's gaze. His arm was wrapped up and literally tied to his side for stopping sudden movements to his injuries. He looked down, holding his bag close to his chest.

"I guess we did have fun. . . . We discovered a lot, and actually enjoyed seeing new scenarios."

Touko gave him a look. "What do you mean by that?"

"Well, I got to see several Pokémon I never saw before when I was leaving Suzuki's work. We have finally found a Shaymin, thanks to Suzuki . . . plus the occasional attacks from you when I talk about your love life or tease you. Not to mention when Touya finally told you I knew you had s—"

"S-shut up! Don't talk about my private life," she muttered, punching his good arm. He gave a chuckle, placing his hand inside the bag. The Shaymin was asleep, curled in a ball and breathing softly. Patting it tenderly, Cheren looked down below. The ocean's waves were calm, the deep blue color being rather taunting with its wildlife below. Occasionally a Pokémon would jump up into the air, giving a call as the Legendary Pokémon passed by. The rest of the ride remained quiet, thanks to Touya falling asleep. It was nice, listening to the sharp wind, wings flapping, and the Pokémon calls.

Night came finally, the stars glowing bright in the moonless night. Touko stared up, just like before. She looked at the constellations. Cheren slowly moved closer to her side, pressing his backside to hers as he leaned against the princess. He stared at Reshiram's flaming tail and then stared further away; Charizard followed a few feet in the distance. He was still in his Mega form, making him look like a phantom in the night sky. Blue flames and sharp claws, a black body. Something to fear as a child.

"Touko, how did you feel in all this? When I finally saw you, it looked like you wanted to cry," Cheren murmured, loud enough for her to hear. The princess turned her head to the side.

"I was scared, of course, but mostly nervous . . ."

"Why nervous?"

Touko stayed silent for a few moments before saying, "I thought I would lose my friends and family. I thought I would die and never return to my life, to see my friends growing with me, to be with N . . . to rule a kingdom and watch life change." She looked up. "What about you? How did you feel in all that?"

"Scared to death if I lost you. N surely would have killed me if something terrible happened to you, maybe even leave scars."

"It did leave scars."

"I mean scars that are noticeable. Something like a broken leg or arm, cuts in the skin, a missing eye! If not that, I'd say losing you entirely," Cheren said. Touko giggled, leaning against him more.

"You'll never get rid of me. Remember that, Cher."

He let out a sigh, laughing before running a hand through his hair, a blush on his face. "Don't call me such a childish nickname, Princess Touko. We're adults now—we don't do that stuff anymore."

"Come on, that is just stupid! I can call you whatever I want because we're friends. Nobody has to know about it but us, so don't tell me to stop or I might say it in front of people!" Touko laughed. Cheren smiled. The brunette turned her head, letting her body move to the side so she could see his face more. Her smile disappeared.

"How did it feel to shoot someone?"

He stared at her. "Why are you asking?"

Slowly, sitting back up, Touko looked at her sleeping brother. The Legendary Pokémon stayed silent, except for the occasional growls. She murmured, "Because it looked like you didn't care if you killed another human. Death was in your eyes, like you wanted to see blood and him dying. I—I know Colress did something terrible, but shooting him with his own gun is . . . terrible."

"I only shot him because he deserved the pain he caused me. My hatred towards him was for hurting Pokémon, hurting the islands, but mostly importantly, kidnapping you. I was so . . . so pissed off that I wanted to see him in pain."

Silence took over them again; Cheren continued to pet Shaymin. The Pokémon smiled, moving closer to his warm hand. Charizard flew closer, watching the humans carefully. As they continued to fly, Touko noticed the familiar region—home at last. It was far, but she spotted the docks and large buildings. She tilted her head.

"What if we stopped having kingdoms?"

"What kind of question is that?" Cheren asked.

"I don't know. No more ruling, no more wars. I think that's . . . the truth I'm seeking as well. When my mother takes her last breath, I'll make sure the castle goes into good hands, and I'll live wherever N lives. We might live in a mansion in his region."

Cheren grinned. "You're a strange one, all right. But that does sound truly wonderful. Maybe we just might do it and have everyone live equally. No more troubling matters."
