"I hope it's just my imagination, but I think Mr. Jefferson was hitting on you!" Kate pouted as we got into the girl's dorm.
"No, he's just like that!" I complain and repress a shiver.
"He's not like that with Victoria!" Kate retorts sharply. I wince.
"Yeah..." I agree. I can't help that the guys a creep!
"Surprise~" Chloe jumps up as I open the door and I nearly slam it in her face.
"Who was that?!" Kate looks at me startled and suspicious.
"The pirate!" I sigh and bang my head against the door. Kate gently pushes me aside and opens it to see Chloe looking back.
"Ah the unusual friend!" Kate smiles.
"Kate!" I warn.
"Unusual. Who's unusual?!" Chloe steps up in her face.
"Chloe!" I step between them.
"Okay, okay. So you're Kate, it's nice to meet you. Max won't shut up about you~" Chloe's frown turns into a mischievous smile.
"Chloe!" I repeat, this time getting flustered.

"Sorry, force of habit!" She goes near the door.
"Later~" I escort her out like a good friend, gripping the doorknob.
"Yeah bye!" I nearly slam the door in her face.
"Omigod it's Karri Price!" I hear someone call.
"Um it's Chloe actually..."
"Okay, now where were we~" I grin at Kate and approach the couch.
"Are you going to play your song now~" She smirks.
