The couple boarded a private flight back to New Orleans less than two hours after their scuffle with March at the Cortez. One of the perks of being The Supreme was access to almost anything at the snap of her fingers. The title of Supreme came with a massive amount of power and a seemly unlimited amount of money. Fiona Goode had abused both during her reign as The Supreme. Cordelia had vowed when she took the thrown that she would not make the same mistakes as her mother. Those thoughts echoed in Cordelia's brain as she put away her things on the plane.

She looked across at Elizabeth as she put her luggage away. The couple had been on rocky terms since 'Delia told The Countess she would be visiting The Cortez. They had not talked much since then, something that bothered 'Delia immensely. She had come to trust Elizabeth more than anyone else and not being on speaking terms was proving difficult for The Supreme. 'Delia watched as The Countess sat down on a leather couch across from her. The Supreme hesitated at first but crossed the plane and sat down next to her lover.

The couple sat in silence as the plane took off. Cordelia looked over at The Countess who was not making eye contact; clearly she was still made at her for going to The Cortez. After several long silent minutes Cordelia could no long take not speaking.

"Elizabeth," Cordelia started. The Countess glance toward her but remained silent, "I'm sorry." She paused for a moment but then continued, "I had to go. It was the only way to protect my coven from whatever horror is coming for us." A few long seconds passed before Elizabeth responded,

"I know," The Countess said softly, "I just wasn't ready to go back to that hotel. That place is where my darkness was born, and I wanted to stay away from there for as long as possible. And," she turned and looked at Cordelia, "I wanted to keep my past hidden from you. I know you were not blind to my darkness but I didn't want you to know how deep that evil inside me went." The Countess looked away from The Supreme, who reached over and gently touched her face,

"Elizabeth, please look at me." The Countess slowly turned her face. "You are not evil, and I am not afraid of your past. And, knowing your past does not make me love you less, it makes me love you more." The Countess looked confused, "It makes me love you more because I now know how much you changed to be with me, and how much you gave up."

The Countess smiled and took 'Delia's hand,

"You are worth giving up everything for, little dove." The pet named made 'Delia blush,

"I'm sorry I made you go back to that place."

"Don't be, I see now that it was the only way for you to truly understand my past. Just promise me that we won't go back there for a very, very long time."

"I promise."
