Rescue mission: Finding Kim's sister part 2
In the skies over Manhattan Kato and Shiron flew over the city as they continued on with their search for Lilly, but so far the young human and his dragon partner had no such luck. Kato let out an exasperated sigh as he looked down at the city below him.
"We've search the whole city and we still haven't found Ben or his gang," muttered Kato in a tired voice.
"I know Kato," spoke Shiron as he looked over his shoulder to glance back at his partner. "We should probably head back now. Our six hours are almost up."
"Yeah, you're probably right," voiced Kato before he held up his left arm to look at the vambrace that was attached to it. "If only this thing could help us out and tell us where in the world Lilly is being kept."
Suddenly, as if answering him, the crystal on Kato's vambrace started to glow. Kato blinked in surprise before an image began to appear on the surface of the crystal. Kato frowned as he continued to look into the crystal and what he saw really shocked him. The image within the crystal showed a werewolf running down a hallway with a young girl being held within its arms and Kato recognized the little girl immediately. In the werewolf's arms was Lilly.
"Lilly," voiced Kato as he stared down at the crystal intently "is this crystal telling me that Lilly is safe? And if she is, does it know where she is?"
The crystal responded again as the image disappeared from its surface before a familiar beam of light shot out and began to point towards where Lilly is. The light pointed south-east where a large building stood far off within the distance. Kato stared in wonder before looking at Shiron, who glanced back at him with a befuddled look on his face.
"Will wonders never cease," muttered the dragon.
Kato only smiled at his partner as he gave the dragon a shrug of his shoulders: "I guess that all I had to do was ask the crystal a question."
"Well whatever you asked it, I'm glad that it finally told us where Lilly is" said Shiron with a smirk.
"Me too," spoke Kato. "Now let's get a move on, the sooner we get Lilly out of Ben's grasp the quicker we can get back to the others."
"Right!" exclaimed Shiron as he turned towards where the light was pointing to.
With Lilly and Wolfie
Wolfie continued to run down the hallway while holding on to his little passenger in a tight yet gentle grip as Lilly continued to hold onto his neck as he ran. The werewolf ran for about a few minutes before he finally slowed to a halt in front of two large metal doors. Wolfie set Lilly down on the ground before placing his ear against the surface of the metal door and listened for a few seconds. Lilly quietly watched the werewolf before Wolfie pulled back to look down at her.
"This is the place," he said.
"How can you tell when I can't hear anything from what's behind these doors?" asked Lilly with a frown on her face.
"I can hear two grown men talking with each other, while also hearing the sound of my friend growling at them," replied Wolfie as he knelt down to Lilly's level of sight. "I'm guessing you can't hear anything is because they made this door sound proof so no one can hear what they're doing in that room."
"So how are we going to get in?"
"Simple, we knock" replied Wolfie with a smirk.
Lilly looked at the werewolf in confusion when he told her his answer, how was knocking going to help anything?
Lab room
The two scientists stood in complete silence as they looked at the beast within the cage. The LegendZ was lying on the ground panting while giving an angry growl at the two humans that stood before him.
"Man this beast is tough to break," muttered the first scientist with an exhausted look on his face.
"Don't worry," spoke the second scientist with a reassuring smile. "We'll get this brute to submit to us even if we have to electrocute him from dawn until dusk."
Suddenly the scientists heard a knock at the door that led into the lab. The scientists turned to look at one another before they both walked towards the door. The first scientist punched in the code numbers to open the door. The doors soon opened with a swish and what stood in front of the scientists was…nothing.
"That's weird," muttered the first scientist as he and his partner walked out a little further until the two of them stood within the middle of the hall.
As the two looked around they didn't notice someone landing quietly behind them before it was too late. The figure reached out before grabbing the two scientists by the heads and quickly banged them together, hard enough to knock the two men out. The two scientists slumped to the floor as Wolfie stood proudly with a smirk on his face, while dusting invisible dirt off his hands. Lilly was clinging to his shoulders with an astonished look on her face before a large smile spread out on her face.
"That was amazing," complemented Lilly.
"Why thank you, I thought so too," said Wolfie as he smiled at Lilly before he turned around and stepped into the lab.
The lab was slightly dim, but Lilly and Wolfie were able to see enough of what the room was like. The lab had twenty cylinder tanks with green liquid that glowed within the room. There were many machines and cages that sat or hung throughout the lab, but the cage within the middle of the room was the one that got Lilly and Wolfie's attention. In the cage laid a creature that was a lot bigger than the werewolf and almost looked a little bit like Tairo.
The creature had orange-yellow fur covering its body with the top part of his nose being a light tan, a red mane with long bangs that hung on both sides of his face and a tuff of red fur at the end of its tail. On the creature's head he was wearing a yellow and green striped bandana, dark blue gloves on his front paws that were held up by yellow belt bands, while his white claws stuck out from the fabric and wrapped around the creature's waist was another yellow belt. Imprinted on both sides of the creature's hips and running half way down its tail were blue tattoo markings. And lastly, two white wings were mounted on the creature's back.
The creature's eyes were closed as it panted through its open mouth where two long upper K9's hung from its upper jaw like saber tooth tiger's teeth. Lilly stared at the LegendZ in sadness and worry when she saw the burn marks on the creature's body as Wolfie lowered her to the ground and let her slip off his back. The werewolf quickly ran over to the cage with Lilly following close behind him before he knelt down in front of the lion creature.
"Leon!" exclaimed Wolfie as he slipped his hand through the bars of the cage and placed it on top of the creature's right paw. "Are you alright? Hey, wake up!"
The creature, now known as Leon, let out a groan before it opened his eyes to reveal his eye color to be red. A small smirk appeared on Leon's muzzle when he saw Wolfie kneeling in front of him before speaking in a gruff voice.
"What took you so long?" asked Leon weakly.
"I had to take a little detour before I came to find you," replied Wolfie before Lilly came up to stand beside him.
Leon turned his eyes on the young human girl with a befuddled look on his face.
"What the heck is a child doing here?" asked Leon in confusion.
"I'll explain later," spoke Wolfie before he stood up and unsheathed his swords. "Right now we need to get you out of there, Lilly go take cover behind the control panel over there. I don't what you getting hurt alright?"
Lilly quickly nodded her head before running over to the control panel that was standing in front of the cage and ducked behind it. Wolfie unsheathed his twin swords and took on a sword stance. He held up his two swords and began to slash at the bars that held Leon captive. It took about ten swipes of the werewolf's swords to cut through the bars and when he was done the bars that held Leon fell to the ground. Lilly had been watching from her hiding spot and she had to say that she was impressed.
"Whoa," voiced Lilly before she came out of her hiding spot and ran back over to Wolfie.
Wolfie quickly sheathed his twin swords before stepping into the cage and helped Leon to stand up on his four paws. Lilly ran up to the two LegendZ before stopping in front of them as she looked up at Leon with a concerned look imprinted on her face.
"Are you okay?" asked Lilly.
"Yeah," replied Leon as he looked down at the girl that stood before him. "Just a little beat up is all."
"What exactly did they do to you?" asked Wolfie.
"They started electrocuting me after they released me from my soul doll, those heartless humans!" growled Leon angrily, but the anger was not directly at the werewolf.
"Why would they do that?" voiced Lilly as she looked down at the ground with a sad frown forming on her face.
"We'll have to save that question for later," said Wolfie as he looked down at the young human girl. "Right now we need to get out of this weird place. Leon, are you able to walk on your own for a while?"
"Don't worry about me," replied Leon with a confident smirk. "I may have been used as a lightning rod by those white coats, but that doesn't mean I can't stand on my own."
"Alright then," said Wolfie as he picked Lilly up in his arms again. "We'll have to run as fast as we can to find the nearest exit out of this place."
"Right," said Leon with a nod of his head.
"Let's go then," ordered Wolfie as he began to run out of the room with Leon following close behind him.
In a different part of the building
Ben was walking down the hallway with Ken as they searched for the missing LegendZ that had escaped from the scientists' laboratory. So far they haven't found any sign of their target.
"Man, looking of an escaped LegendZ is like looking for a needle in a haystack," muttered Ken angrily.
"You've said that about two hours ago," said Ben as he looked at Ken in annoyance.
"Well I can't help but be a bit angry right now," grumbled Ken as he frowned at Ben. "We had a LegendZ that completely out-smarted us just by playing the old possum trick."
"It just proves how little we really know about the LegendZ we're studying and the ones we're partner with," said Ben as he began to explain to Ken. "LegendZ have been on this earth much longer then we humans have."
"Yeah, I guess you're right" muttered Ken as he shoved his hands into his jean pockets. "But it's still annoying to know that we've just been tricked by a LegendZ that we were trying to revive by your old man's techno stuff."
Ben only rolled his eyes before coming to a stop when he heard his cellphone ringing. He dug into the pocket of his pants as he pulled out his cellphone and flipped it open before pressing one of the buttons to answer the person who was calling him. Ben held the phone up to his ear with an annoyed look on his face.
"Hello?" said Ben.
"Ben it's me, Sakura, we have a problem!" exclaimed a female voice on the other end of the line.
"As if we don't have enough problems," muttered Ben, "what is it this time?"
"The girl that you've captured is gone!" explained Sakura in a panic.
"WHAT!?" shouted Ben as his eyes widen in disbelief, "how can that be? There's no way a little girl like her could figure out how to get out of that room we locked her in."
"Apparently someone who wasn't part of this building somehow broke the girl out," replied Sakura. "What was really strange though was that the lock on the door had been sliced through as if by a knife or a sword."
Ben frowned in anger when he heard what Sakura had said to him: "A sword huh? I bet it was that LegendZ we're all looking for that helped that little pest escape."
"If that's true, then chances are that little girl is with that rouge LegendZ," spoke Sakura as she let out a frustrating sigh. "This day just had to get worse, didn't it?"
Suddenly, Ken's cellphone rung and the teen quickly pulled it out of his pocket before answering it.
"Yo, what up?" asked Ken to the person on the other end of the phone.
"We go a problem!" shouted a person's voice from the receiver. "The Manticore LegendZ that the people within the lab were experimenting on has escaped!"
Ken's eyes grew wide in surprise as he turned to look at Ben who raised a curious eyebrow at him.
"It seems that this day had just gotten a whole lot worse," muttered Ken.
Ben let out a growl before talking to Sakura on his cellphone again: "Tell all the staff members to put this place on lockdown. We have two LegendZ and a small girl running around within this building!"
"Yes sir!" exclaimed Sakura before Ben hung up on her.
"Did you hear that?" questioned Ken to the person on the other end of his phone. "Place the whole building on lockdown, now!"
"Right!" yelped the voice on the other end of the phone before the person hung up.
Ken stuffed his phone back into his jean pocket before looking at Ben with an exasperated look on his face.
"And here I thought we would get a day off," grumbled Ken.
Ben only rolled his eyes at Ken before taking off at a run down the hall: "Come on, the sooner we find our three escapes the faster you'll get a weekend off!"
Ken quickly ran after Ben as they started to race through the building in search for Lilly and the two LegendZ that are trying to escape from the building.
With Lilly and the two LegendZ
Lilly had her arms wrapped tightly around Wolfie's neck as the werewolf ran down the hallway with Leon running right behind him. They were searching through the hallway for a staircase or an elevator to get out of this strange building. The two LegendZ had been running for about an hour before Leon started to slow down. Wolfie quickly slowed down as well when he saw that his friend was falling behind.
"Leon, what's wrong?" asked Wolfie as he walked back to his friend.
"Are you okay?" asked Lilly in a worried voice.
"I'm fine kiddo," replied Leon with a pant, "I'm just really tired after being out in my real form for so long."
"Well we can't stop now," said Wolfie as he gave Leon a serious look. "If we pause for even a moment those scientists and the people of this building will find us and capture us again."
"Give me a second," grumbled Leon, "I just need to catch my breath."
"Hey, over here!" shouted a voice from down the hallway that the trio had just passed through, "I found them!"
"Uh-oh!" echoed Wolfie and Leon as they looked at each other for a split second before they took off down the hallway again.
Lilly tightened her grip on the werewolf's fur as Wolfie and Leon ran as fast as they could down the hallway again.
"This is just great!" shouted Leon angrily "I was hoping we wouldn't have to encounter those human adults again when we're trying to escape this stupid place!"
"Me too!" exclaimed Wolfie in agreement.
The two LegendZ kept running but quickly stopped when they saw a group of humans in black uniforms holding stung guns out in front of them. Leon and Wolfie growled as they glared at the people in front of them, but the werewolf stopped his growling when he suddenly felt Lilly tugging at his fur. He looked down at the young human he held in his arms and saw her pointing towards a door to their right. Wolfie looked to where the girl was pointing and saw a sigh that said 'Stairs'.
"Perfect," said Wolfie before looking at his friend, "Leon!"
"You got it," answered the Manticore before he unfolded his wings "FANG BULLETS!"
At his shout, sharp edged feathers shot out at the men that stood before them. The men quickly scattered out of the way as they avoided being slashed by the sharp edged feathers.
"Let's go!" shouted Wolfie as he sprinted towards the door that led to the staircase.
Balancing Lilly on one arm, Wolfie grabbed the handle of the door and pulled it open before racing in with Leon following right behind him. The two LegendZ quickly started running up the stairs in a frantic hurry to escape the humans that were hunting them. Lilly noticed that they were going up instead of heading down where the doors of the building that would lead them out of the building.
"Um…shouldn't we be going down the stairs instead of up?" asked Lilly shyly as she looked up at Wolfie.
"That will be the first thing the people in this building will think we're doing," answered Wolfie as he looked down at the little girl in his arms. "They've probably blocked off that entrance to keep us from leaving after finding out that we've escaped so my safe bet of getting out of this mess is to head to the roof and try to escape from there."
"But how are we going to escape from the roof?" asked Lilly in a worried voice.
"Hey, these wings weren't built for nothing little lady!" exclaimed Leon with a smirk.
With that said, the trio continued to make their way up towards the roof of the building with the group of humans following not far behind them.
"They're heading for the roof!" shouted one of the men.
"Don't let them get away!" ordered another man.
The shouting of the humans only made the two LegendZ run faster as they hurried up the stairs to reach the roof of the building. Lilly gripped onto Wolfie's fur tightly as fear began to poor into her heart and the thought of them being caught again made her think about what those scientists would do to her. The ten year old let out a small whimper as she buried her face into the werewolf's fur. Wolfie seemed to sense Lilly's distress as he gently tightened his hold on the young girl that he carried in his arms.
"Don't worry Lilly," voiced Wolfie in the calmest voice that he could muster "Leon and I won't let anything happen to you, I promise."
Lilly only nodded her head for she felt complete trust in the LegendZ that will protect her from harm and had faith that they would escape this place together with Leon. In about an hour, which felt like a life time to the runners, Wolfie and Leon finally made it to the roof as they busted open the door and came out into open air. A cool brush of wind blew passed the trio, while making Lilly shiver a little bit against the cold.
"Finally, open sky!" roared Leon in joy.
"Appreciate the view later," said Wolfie as he quickly jumped onto the manticore's back, "right now we got to get out of here!"
"Right!" exclaimed Leon before he started taking off at a run towards the edge of the roof.
Wolfie held on tight to Lilly as they rode on Leon's back as they began to make their way to freedom, but their hope was quickly dashed when a heavy net was suddenly thrown on top of them. Lilly let out a shriek as Leon stumbled within his steps and fell to the ground. The two LegendZ began to struggle against the net as a group of adults riding in helicopters landed on the roof. The men that had been chasing the trio suddenly appeared within the doorway of the roof as they held their stung guns at the ready. Wolfie and Leon stopped their struggling as they glared at the approaching men that were going to surround them. One of the men held back as he lifted a cellphone to his ear and began to talk into it.
"Sir, we have captured the two LegendZ. How do you want us to proceed?"
There was a pause before the man spoke again: "Understood sir."
The man quickly closed up his cellphone before turning to the men who held the stung guns: "Electrocute them."
Leon let out a roar as he glared at the men who held the stung guns at the ready, while Wolfie quickly held Lilly close to his chest as he tried to protect her what was about to come. Lilly stared wide eyed in horror at the approaching men before burying her face into the werewolf's fur.
'Please help,' thought Lilly silently to herself.
"Get ready!" ordered the man as the men in uniform held up their stung guns.
Tears started to run down Lilly's cheeks before she let out a scream: "PLEASE, SOMEBODY HELP US!"
"WING TORNADO!" shouted a voice from overhead before a strong gust of wind suddenly picked up.
The wind made the men topple backwards as they either hit the side of the roof's fence or against the helicopters. The wind began to calm down upon the roof before a loud thud was heard when something heavy landed. Lilly, Wolfie and Leon looked up see Shiron standing before them.
"Shiron!" exclaimed Lilly excitedly when she saw the dragon in front of her.
"Lilly, are you okay?" shouted Kato from Shiron's back.
"Yeah!" answered Lilly with a nod.
"Don't worry, the little girl was perfectly safe with us," spoke Leon with a smile.
Kato blinked in confusion when he saw the two LegendZ: "Who are you guys?"
"No time for introductions now!" exclaimed Wolfie, "We need to get out of here, now!"
Kato had an unsure look on his face as he stared at the two LegendZ in distrust before Shiron spoke to him.
"It's okay Kato, their friends," spoke the dragon before he pulled the net off of Wolfie and Leon.
"Stop!" shouted one of the men who had gotten to their feet.
Shiron quickly turned to glare at the men that were running towards them before throwing the net he was hold in his hands at them. The men let out a shout as the net fell on top of them and they began to struggle as they tried to get themselves free.
"Sorry, no time for chit-chat!" growled Shiron.
"Let's get out of here!" exclaimed Kato.
"No need to tell us twice!" growled Leon as Wolfie jumped onto his back again with Lilly still being held in the werewolf's arms.
The two wind LegendZ quickly shot into the air as they made their way to freedom. After they had escaped Ben and Ken had run onto the roof top. They saw the forms of Shiron and Leon flying farther away from the roof before they looked at the men that were trapped within the net.
"Looks like we weren't the only ones who slipped up today," spoke Ken as he looked at Ben with a frown.
"Shut up Ken," muttered Ben with a glare.
Warehouse
Not long ago, Alan, Typhoon and Tailor had returned to the warehouse and were now talking to Blaze and Tim while the LegendZ and the girls were watching from the side lines. Alan was not happy when he found out that his cousin Kato had went out on his own to find Lilly.
"So you two just let Kato go off without back up?" questioned Alan angrily.
"Hey, he has Shiron looking after him so he'll be fine," said Tim as he tried to reassure Alan.
"But what if those two ran into Ben's group and they get over powered by them?" questioned Alan again as he started to pace back and forth in worry.
"Alan," spoke Typhoon as he tried to calm his partner down "relax, Kato will come back and who knows, maybe he'll bring Lilly back with him."
"I wouldn't get my hopes up," stepped in Tairo as he glanced at the water dragon "Ben can be pretty tough, but when he's with those little group of friends of him then there's no way that even Kato and Shiron could defeat them on their own. Even if they go into their Elemental Fusion form there's still no way that they could defeat all of Ben's team members."
"Tairo!" echoed Greedo, Typhoon and Tiger as they gave the winged lion a glare.
"What?"
"No, no, Tairo is right," spoke Alan as he continued to pace "I mean Ben's group is more powerful together and could over power Kato and Shiron in a fight."
Blaze let out a sigh of annoyance before speaking: "Alan, will you stop worrying. Kato is a lot smarter than he lets on and he knows better than to go picking a fight with Ben and his group. He wouldn't do something that would risk him his life."
"And how would you know!?" shouted Alan as he stopped pacing to glare at Blaze.
Blaze glared right back at Alan before answering his outburst: "I just know."
Alan rolled his eyes and was about to say something when the group suddenly heard the sound of beating wings before they turned to see Shiron landing outside the garage door of the warehouse with two LegendZ landing beside him. Kato quickly hopped off of Shiron's shoulder and landed in the dragon's hand before he was set down on the ground.
"We're back!" shouted Kato excitedly as he ran up to the group.
"So we see," said Alan in a harsh voice when Kato stopped in front of him, "where have you been? We've been worried sick about you!"
"We?" echoed Blaze and Tim as they glared at Alan.
"Sorry I worried you guys," said Kato as he looked up at Alan, "but you'll never guess who I found."
"Oh really?" said Alan with a raised eyebrow, "who did you find?"
Kato only smiled before he turned to look at the two LegendZ as the werewolf jumped down from the manticore's back and knelt down on the ground. The group's faces held a look of astonishment when they saw who Kato had brought back with him. Being placed down on her feet was none other than…
"Lilly!" shouted Kim as she ran towards her little sister.
"Kim!" exclaimed Lilly with a wide smile as she ran towards her big sister.
The two sisters raced towards each other before meeting up where Kim quickly scooped up Lilly in her arms and twirled her little sister around for a second before setting Lilly back down on the ground again, while kneeling in front of her ten year old sister. A large smile spread out on Kim's face as tears of joy started to run down her cheeks.
"Oh, thank heaven you're okay," voiced Kim as she touched the side of her sister's face. "Are you alright, did Ben or his goons do anything to harm you?"
"No, they didn't do anything to hurt me," replied Lilly with a shake of her head, "but I have been neglecting the food that they were giving me because I was too scared to eat anything. Now that we had escaped from the building that Ben and his gang took me to I'm starting to get a little hungry."
"Well don't worry," spoke Kim with a reassuring smile on her face, "Once we get back home we'll order takeout for dinner tonight."
"Okay," said Lilly with a nod of her head.
"It's good to have you back Kido," spoke Izumi as she and the others walked up to the two sisters, "but who are those two LegendZ that you and Kato brought along with you?"
"Oh I forgot," said Lilly as she turned to face the werewolf and manticore, "these two are my rescuers, their names are…"
"Leon, Wolfie, is it really you?" spoke Greedo when he recognized the two LegendZ in front of him.
"Sure is," replied Leon with a smirk.
"Long time no-see Greedo," spoke Wolfie with a wave of his hand.
"Wait a minute," said Blaze as he looked between Greedo and the two LegendZ, "you guys know each other?"
"Yeah," answered Greedo with a nod of his head, "Wolfie, Leon and I go way back."
"We've known each other throughout all of the LegendZ Wars we've partaken in," added Leon as he looked down at Blaze. "And I'm guessing that you're Greedo's new Saga, right?"
"Y-yeah," stammered Blaze hesitantly "my name is Blaze."
"Nice to meet you," greeted Wolfie with a nod of his head.
"I'm Kim," spoke the twelve year old as she stood up and faced the two LegendZ in front of her, "thank you for rescuing my sister."
"Ah, it was our pleasure," spoke Leon as a blush appeared on his face, "Besides, we couldn't leave someone little kid like Lilly to get hurt by those adults."
"You must have gone through a lot to help Lilly," spoke Kida as she walked up to Leon and inspected his burn marks. "How exactly did you get these burn marks?"
"Those crazy scientists were the ones that did this to me," growled Leon as the memory of what had happened came back to him. "Those humans were electrocuting me to get me to submit to them, but there was no way that I was going to obey those weirdoes."
"And speaking of scientists, there's something that all of you need to know," stepped in Wolfie as he held a serious look on his face.
"What is it?" asked Tim.
"There was a reason that Lilly was taken," spoke the werewolf as he began explaining to group in front of him. "Those scientists are kidnapping humans, especially kids, to experiment on them."
The group let out a gasp as Kim quickly brought Lilly close to her as fear appeared in her eyes. Everyone was quiet for a moment before Kato was the one to break the ice.
"What exactly are they doing to the victims that they are kidnapping?" asked Kato, afraid to know the answer.
Wolfie took in a breath before he answered Kato's question: "Those scientists as trying to force the people they've captured to fuse with LegendZ."
The news that the werewolf gave to the group made everyone freeze in disbelief, horror and anger. Normal human beings were being forced to fuse with LegendZ? This was something that everyone was not expecting. Lilly was shaking in her sister's grip as the realization on what would have happened to her back in that building began to over load her senses. The ten year old child quickly hugged her older sister around the waist as she buried her face in Kim's shirt. Kato felt an intense rage go through him as he curled his hands into fists.
"So that's what they're doing," voiced Kato as he glared at the ground below him.
"How could they do such a thing?" questioned Izumi as she held her hands to her chest.
"This is really serious," spoke Shiron as he and the other LegendZ looked at one another. "If what you're saying is true Wolfie than we could be in for a lot trouble within the near future."
"Forcing a human and LegendZ to fuse together without them bonding first will have dire consequences," said Typhoon with a shake of his head.
"Why, what would happen?" asked Tim as he and the group turned to look at their LegendZ partner.
"If a LegendZ and human are forced to fuse together then they'll become an out of control monster that will tear up anything or anyone that gets in their way," explained Greedo.
"The monster has no conscious and will, they'll only go on by their instincts," added Tiger "and the longer the monster stays in its fusion form then the quicker they will die."
"Then those people need to be stopped," spoke Kato in determination, "we can't let them continue on with what they're doing. Innocent lives are on the line here and it's about time we show Ben that we mean business."
"Yeah," echoed Tim and Blaze with a firm nod of their head.
"Truer words were never spoken," said Tailor as he petted Tiger on the neck.
"Let's teach those bullies not to mess with us!" exclaimed Izumi with Kida nodding her head in agreement.
"Ben and his friends have made a terrible mistake when it came to stealing my sister away from me," said Kim as she gently petted her little sister's head to comfort her.
Alan let out a sigh before a smile appeared on his face: "Well, if you're all determined to do this then count me in."
"Then when we face Ben and his team members again, let's show them that we're the team that shouldn't be pushed around!" shouted Kato as he raised a fist up in the air.
The group, minus Kim and Lilly, all punched their fists up into the air as they gave a cheer to show that they were with Kato all the way. This will be the toughest challenge that the group will ever face, but they were willing to do whatever it takes to protect innocent people from suffering the same fate as the ones before them.
To be continued
