SPOV
Ally and I started our walk in mostly silence. I guess neither of us really knew what to say. I still wasn't completely ready to talk this out with her but I guess now was as good as any.
"Stephanie, I…" Ally began but was interrupted by the sound of loud screeching tires. We both turned to look but it all happened so fast and before I knew it everything went dark.
RPOV
Panic, fear, and anger were all wrapped up so tightly in my chest I couldn't think, I couldn't breathe, I couldn't react. All of my men stood horrified and silenced by the sounds of Stephanie's screams. Silence filled the room as her screams were suddenly cut off. Her image still filled the screens but there was no more sounds.
"Tank," I started.
"Hush," Santos interrupted. "We need to take this out of the building." I opened my mouth to decline. I didn't want to leave the only connection I had to Stephanie at this moment; even if it was her tired image. "Not another word, Ranger," he demanded putting his hand out to stop me. "Outside. Now." Even though I didn't want to I abandoned the building with everyone else.
"What are we doing out here," I demanded once we were outside. Now I wasn't just furious I also had my wits back and was ready for a fight.
"The entire building is bugged," Lester stated. "Not only are they able to get into our security systems and access our entire building but they can hear and see everything we do."
"Who," I demanded.
"Franco brother," Tank stated matter-of-factly.
"Do we know if Ally is with her," I asked.
"I believe so," Tank stated.
I paused calculating a plan in my mind quickly. "My apartment should be clean," I said more as a question than a statement. "And my laptop doesn't run off the same network."
"Your laptop should be safe but the desktop in your apartment puts your apartment at risk. It's on the same network." I nodded.
"Santos, get my laptop from my apartment and get Hector to find a secured device for me to monitor this building without anyone knowing. Once you're done meet me at Morelli's."
"Morelli's," Santos questioned. "Why Morelli's?"
"Yes, because it's the only place I'm absolutely sure is secured." I replied. I was a big enough man to realize I needed all the help I could get and not to mention his fiancé was with Stephanie. "And he needs to know about Ally. Everyone else secure the building and head over to Morelli's. We'll come up with a game plan. Let Hector know to stay here and keep me updated on anything new." I reached deep into my pockets and pulled out my keys. "I'm leaving now. See everyone in twenty." I cringed at the word twenty. I didn't know how long Stephanie and Ally had and at a time like this twenty minutes was a life time.

"Ally," I called out to the unconscious woman strapped down to the bed. "Ally, wake up." She moaned an agonizing sound. "Ally."
"Stephanie," she whispered.
"Ally, are you okay," I asked. She pulled at the ropes holding her to the bed frame.
"Where are we," she cried out pulling frantically against the ropes.
"Ally, listen to me," I tried to keep my voice calm even though I was terrified. "I need you to stay calm. If we are going to get out of this mess we have to stay calm."
"Ok," she replied her voice shaky but calmer.
"Do you remember anything after that van pulled up," I asked her in almost a whisper.
"No."
"We have to figure out a way out of here," I stated. "They stripped us to get rid of all the trackers that Ranger had on us."
"Did they hurt you," Ally asked.
"No, they made scream and keep screaming," I explained. "I assume they are sending to Ranger but they won't hurt us."
"How do you know that," Ally asked curiously.
"Because they are going to sell us, after they torture Ranger and possibly Joe."
"Oh god," Ally whined.
"Listen, I overheard one of them talking on the phone and they are flying us out of here to another country tomorrow morning. We have to get out of here before then because we have no hope if they get us on that plane." She nodded. "I know Ranger will be looking for us but we can't wait for them."
"What do we do," she asked.
"I'm not sure yet," I replied with a heavy sigh. "But we'll figure it out."
JPOV
A quick glance at my wrist watch showed that it was almost quitting time and as long as nothing new pops up within the next fifteen minutes I would be headed home to spend a relaxing evening with the love of my life. My phone rang alerting me to an incoming call and interrupting my thoughts.
"Morelli," I answered.
"It's Ranger," the caller stated. "We need to talk. Your place now."
"Ranger, tonight's not a good night," I answered to his demand. "Perhaps another time."
"Morelli," I detected the urgency in his voice.
"Ally," I questioned suddenly panicked.
"Your house, now." He disconnected. I didn't give myself a minute to allow the panic to take over. I was out the door and on my way home in seconds. I hit the lights in my unmarked cruiser and laid down the gas pedal.
My cruiser slid into my driveway and I was out and on my feet before the car engine was completely dead. The lawn and street in front of my house were filled with men in black and black SUV's. I immediately pinpointed Ranger in the crowd and in a quick pace strode towards him.
"Ally," I demanded.
"Let's go inside," Ranger demanded back.
"Ally," I growled.
"We don't have time for this Morelli," Ranger growled back and my chest tightened in panicked fear. I nodded and led the way to the house.
Everyone piled in and I sat down on the couch. My legs were weak and my heart was pounding fast and hard.
"Stephanie and Ally were kidnapped," Ranger announced. I suddenly couldn't breathe. This was all my fault. "We are pretty sure it was the Franco brothers. This means we don't have much time before the two women will be on a plane a headed out of the country and once that happens this gets a lot harder."
"How do we find them," I asked.
Santos walked through the door; "Here Boss," he said handing Ranger a laptop and a tablet. "Your laptop is secure and this tablet allows you to see the monitors from the office without anyone knowing an outsider is in. They won't be able to trace you." Ranger nodded and took a seat on the couch next to me.
"Here," Ranger handed me the tablet. I grabbed it. An image of Stephanie's weak body sat limp on a chair.
"Is she," I asked not able to finish.
"No," Santos answered. "I believe this was previously recorded. I don't think we are seeing real time." Ranger's head snapped up from his computer.
"What," he asked.
"Just relaying Hector's info," Santos replied. I knew exactly what was going through Rangers mind because it was going through mine. This meant that we didn't know if they were still in America or if they were still alive.
"Where's Ally," I asked.
Ranger paused; "we haven't seen her."
"How do you know she's alive," I asked horrified.
"We don't, Morelli," he replied with care. "But we have reason to believe that he will try to sell them. They won't hurt them if they are going to sell them but it means we don't have much time to get to them before they're gone."
I watched as Ranger powered up his laptop. "Santos, I need you to download that emergency tracking program onto my laptop and quickly."
"Boss, they messed with all the trackers."
"Here," Ranger handed him a small piece of paper with a long code on it. "This goes to the tracker that is in that necklace around Stephanie's neck." I smiled and sighed with relief. Invasion of privacy wasn't something that I agreed with but I was so extremely thankful that he violated Stephanie's privacy at this moment. I mentally crossed my fingers praying that the tracker was traceable and we'd have them both safely home soon. "You need to do this carefully. We don't want to alert anyone that we are trying to trace that necklace because it's our last hope of finding them." Santos nodded and began diligently working on Ranger's computer.
APOV
It was all happening again. I was trying to control the flashbacks but with every pull at the ropes tied tightly around my wrist it brought back all the horrific memories from before. Stephanie told me to keep calm. It was the only way we'd survive and I knew she was right so I was in a constant battle with my own thoughts and memories trying to keep them from taking over.
"Can you get loose," Stephanie asked as I pulled against the ropes but nothing. I shook my head. "Keep trying." I raised my head to see her tied tightly to a chair. She was struggling against her own bondage.
"It's too tight, Stephanie," I cried out. The sun had set long ago and I didn't have any idea how much longer we had. "What if we can't get loose?"
"Just keep trying," she demanded. I pulled hard and then harder. My wrist burned like they were lit on fire with every pull but the pain was minor with the adrenaline coursing through my blood. I pulled again this time using my legs to pull against the ropes tied around my feet when I heard a crash. I stopped and froze out of pure freight.
"I got it," Stephanie called out. "The chair broke when it fell over." I let out the breath I didn't know I was holding. She rushed over to the bed and began undoing my ropes. Freed I ran towards the only window and she ran towards the door.
"There are security bars on the window," I cried.
"Shhh," she hushed me. I turned to see she had the door opened. We both exited the room not knowing what we were walking into.
Let me know what you think! Chapter 15 coming soon.
