Her eyes opened, slowly adjusting to the darkness that enveloped her room. Once she was used to the darkness, she glanced over at the clock, noting that it was already eleven at night. He should be out by now.
Reaching over, she grabbed her phone, careful not to make too many sudden movements. She could feel a body pressed beside hers which she figured had to be her brother or sister who occasionally loved sneaking into her bedroom at night. She didn't need whoever it was waking up and snitching on her to their parents that she sneaking out so late at night to see her boyfriend.
Turning on the screen of her phone, she tapped the messaging icon before scrolling down to the thread she had been looking for. Nimble fingers quickly ran over the keys on her screen before sending the message.
She waited for all of two minutes before her phone lit up again, a message appearing on the screen. Opening it, she grinned before simply replying, meet me in the parking lot.
The reply was faster that time, reading simply, see you in twenty.
Carefully she slipped out of bed, turning to look at the sleeping person who still occupied her bed. It was her sister.
Of course.
Quietly moving around her room, she found her tennis shoes, not bothering to change out of her camisole and sweatpants she had been wearing when she fell asleep. Slipping into them, she grabbed her phone, pocketing it before slipping out of her window.
She made her way across the lawn and out of the gate before making her way down the street to where she had promised to meet her waiting boyfriend.
…
He looked into the side view mirror, hoping to catch a glimpse of the person he was to meet there. She still had another five minutes to get there but he knew how she liked to be early from time to time.
A slight smile crossed his lips when he noted the familiar silhouette not far from him in his mirror. She was early, like he had expected.
Opening the car door, he stepped out just as she broke into a run. Two seconds later, he felt more weight being added to his own as slender arms encircled around his waist. He chuckled, his own arms coming to wrap around her petite body as he leaned down to press a kiss to her temple, "You were able to get away."
"Everyone's out cold," she replied as she leaned back to look up at him. "So that made it easier for me to sneak out. But I did have to be very quiet climbing out the window. My sister snuck into my room again for the fourth time this week."
"That seems to be a habit," he commented lightly.
"A bad one but I don't mind," she said before releasing him. "How was work?"
"It was work," the almost eighteen year old replied. "Tiring, long, and busy."
She smiled, her fingers intertwining with his as she stood on her toes to press a kiss to his cheek. "Then you should go home and get to bed."
"I will, as soon as I take you home," he said glancing over her shoulder. "I take it you didn't bother driving."
She nodded, "Would have possibly been caught if I did. So I walked."
"So reckless," he said shaking his head. "If that were the case, TenTen, I could have come to you."
"And risk getting caught," TenTen asked irking a brow. "No way Neji. Besides, I needed the exercise."
Again he chuckled, "Fine. Now let's go. I have to be up somewhat early tomorrow morning."
TenTen nodded, letting go of her boyfriend before she slipped into the car, climbing over the centre console and settling herself in the passenger's seat.
"You could have just walked around," Neji said as he stepped in, closing the door behind him.
"I could have, but where's the fun in that," she asked as she pulled the seat belt over her chest.
Her only response was a chuckle as he put the car in reverse and pulled out of the parking lot and headed towards her home.

This one is based off an actual experience I had this past summer. I totally snuck out of the house to go see my boyfriend after he got off work in the dead of night. It's hard trying to sneak away when you have both of your nephews snuggled up against you.
