EASTERN AGRICULTRAL AND MECHANICAL COLLEGE

Blake absent-mindedly munched on popcorn as he watched the players go through their warmups on the football field below. This afternoon was the annual showdown between the Gotham City University Nighthawks and the Metropolis State Crusaders, and Blake, Diana, and Fox were there to hobnob with Luthor to finalize details of the Metropolis version of the Wayne Gardens project. Originally scheduled for Metropolis, the game had been moved to the Eastern A&M campus following the World Engine event.

"What number is your son, Silas?" Fox said, as he and Stone joined Blake at the front rail of the luxury suite. Stone had agreed to host the group in his suite, as his son was the star running back for Metropolis State.

"Victor is number 24," Stone said, beaming with parental pride. "There he is – right down in front of us. He leads the nation in rushing and has a 4.0 GPA in mechanical engineering."

Blake scanned the field, spotted Victor, and watched him for a few moments. He had never really had the time to pay attention to football closely growing up, and it was doubly uncomfortable for him – even after all the highfalutin events he had been to since Bruce Wayne's death – watching games from a luxury suite when the only opportunities he had as a kid was sneaking away from the orphanage and into the occasional baseball game.

Blake glanced at his watch.

"Where's Lex?" he asked. "The game will be starting soon."

"Got a text from Barry – my ace lab tech – earlier this morning," Stone said. "He and Lex were finishing some adjustments up on the, um, project we're working on with LexCorp. He should be on his way."

Blake nodded, and excused himself. He found Diana sitting on a leather couch at the back of the suite, reading the Daily Planet.

"Anything interesting?"

"Woman Fighting With Batman A Source of Wonder for Gotham," Diana read the headline, stood up, and handed over the paper. The article featured a still picture taken from the bank's security cameras that showed the two in the stairwell.

"A source of wonder?" Blake said. "Batman and… Wonder Woman. Kind of has a ring to it."

"Maybe you should trademark it. It will look great on a t-shirt."

She grabbed a handful of popcorn and flashed Blake a big smile.
