District 9:

Jason:

"Next up, he travelled all the way from District 9, he's quick on his feet, he's Jason!"

Jason then came onto the stage, wearing a suit that was as yellow as a banana!

"So, Jason, are you ready for this year's Hunger Games?"

"Oh yeah!"

"Splendid! Now tell us, what is you like most about the Capitol?"

"Well, the fact that they all like us here!"

"Wow. Now, what is life like for you back home in District 9?"

"Well, it was kind of sad to say goodbye, but once I win, I'll be welcomed back with honour!"

"Marvellous!"

Suddenly, the buzzer went off!

"Oh well, time's up! Give it up for Jason!"

Mackenzie:

"Next up, she's sweet, she's pure, she's Mackenzie!"

Mackenzie then came onto the stage wearing a sparkling yellow dress with gems that formed into the shape of the sun.

"So, Mackenzie, are you ready for this year's Hunger Games?"

"Well, I'm hoping to win."

"OK. May I say that is a lovely dress you are wearing."

"Thank you. The gems are supposed to sparkle like the Sun when I twirl around; would you like to see?"

The audience all clapped and most of them shouted "Yes!"

So, Mackenzie confidently got out of her seat, stood in the centre of the stage, and twirled around in her dress with the gems shining as bright as the Sun.

The audience loved it!

They wanted more, but Mackenzie had to stop as she was getting dizzy.

"So, what do you like about the Capitol?"

"Well, I kind of like the fashions."

"Oh well, yes, the fashions here are amazing. So, what is life like for you back home?"

"Well, it's a lot different to where I am now. And when I got here, I kind of started to like this boy. He's not from my District, though."

"Oh, that's a shame. But, can you al least tell us who he is."

"OK. It's... Ace. From District 1."

The audience gasped. Mackenzie had just admitted that she liked Ace!

"Well, I can't believe it."

"Neither could I."

Suddenly, the buzzer went off.

"Oh well, time's up. Give it up for Mackenzie!"

District 10:

Preston:

"Next up, he's strong, he's tough, he looks like he's hard to beat, he's Preston!"

Preston then came onto the stage wearing a chocolate-brown suit with matching buttons and shoes, with a bolo tie around his neck.

"So, Preston, are you ready for this year's Hunger Games?"

"Well, let's just say I'm as ready as I'm ever going to be."

"Fascinating. So how are you finding the Capitol, and don't say with a map."

The audience and Preston gave a slight chuckle.

"Well, I must say, everything is so much different to home."

"Oh, I see. So, now, what's life like for you back in District 10?"

"Well, my parents own a farm there and all of the animals love us."

The audience gave an 'Awwww!'

Suddenly, the buzzer went off!

"Oh well, time's up. Give it up for Preston!"

Peaches:

"Next up, she's as sweet as a peach, she's Peaches!"

Peaches then came onto the stage wearing a long warm-brown gown with silver glitter.

"So, Peaches, are you ready for this year's Hunger Games?"

"Well, I am going to try my best."

"Excellent. Now tell us, how are you finding the Capitol, and do't say with a map!"

The audience laughed a bit.

"Well, all I can say is that it's very different from back home."

"OK, so now tell us, what is life like for you back home in District 10?"

"Well, I live on a farm with my parents and my brother Preston."

Suddenly, the buzzer went off!

"Oh well, time's up! Give it up for Peaches!"
