Chapter 14: Anime School Academy
At an Inn, David, the Ed's, Mordecai and Rigby all waited outside a room when the ponies stepped out. "How is she?" David asked.
"She's fine so far." Applejack answered, "Just tired out is all."
"Poor dear." Rarity pitied, "She must be devastated after everything that's happened."
"It's best we let her get some rest for now." Twilight advised. "Dipper and Mabel are keeping a good eye on her at the moment."
"So what do we do now?" Mordecai asked. "Should we wait till she recovers?"
"Ah man, that's gonna take forever." Rigby groan. "Can't we do something fun at least?"
"Rigby, C'mon dude," Mordecai snapped at him, "Do you always have to think of yourself?"
"Actually, I think the raccoon has a good point." Eddy agreed.
"Hmph..." Rigby nodded in satisfaction, "What do you guys think?"
David ponders for a moment, "Hmm... maybe we should have a look around. At least to find out where we are."
"Ooh~ could we get giant robots of our own?" Ed asked randomly.
"Yeah, we should totally do that." The raccoon agreed on Ed's comment.
"If it's alright with you guys, I'd like to come along as well." Twilight offered. "It would be perfect for my research to learn more about your civilization."
"Let's hope it's not boring for your first time." Eddy remarked.
Rainbow Dash responds to Eddy's comment, "If we know Twilight, she'll find almost anything to look forward to that's boring."
"Then it's settled. We'll leave you guys here to watch over Elsa with the Pines twins." David said. "The others and I will have a look around."
"You can count on us, David." Applejack replied with a salute.
The small party leaves the inn and set out to go exploring. "Any idea where we even are?" Eddy asked.
"Beat's me." David shrugged. "This was the only place Arokh could lead us to.
"Sure is quiet for a town this big."
Elsewhere, a familiar fluffy green hair man wonders aimlessly around town. He pauses for a moment and notices David's small group across from him. "Yo, kid!" This gets their attention as he approaches them.
"Spike-" David let out surprised, "What are you doing here?"
"I could ask you the same thing." Spike answered. He looks at the rest of the group a bit confused, "So what happened to your bald friend?"
"It's kind of a long story..." The young man replied rubbing the back of his head.
"And who are they?" Spike referred to Mordecai, Rigby, and Twilight, "Your new pets?"
"...Hey!" The three exclaimed.
"We're not pets...!" Mordecai retorted.
"Huh-? You can talk?" Spike let out a bit surprised.
"Yeah we can talk," Rigby chimed in, "we even have jobs."
"Do you have to sound obnoxious about it?" Spike flatly says.
"Some friend he is." Twilight muttered.
"He's actually more of an acquaintance." Double D stated.
David continues, "Anyway, we just arrived here and decided to have a look around. What about you?"
"Same as you." Spike replied, "Figured I'd see if any bounty's available in this place."
"So wait... you're a bounty hunter?" David exclaimed.
"What'd you think I was?"
"Guess I kind of figured you were maybe a mercenary or somethin'."
"Or maybe a cowboy..." Ed called out.
Spike chuckled, "That seems a bit much."
"I think it sounds like a pretty cool job." David acknowledged. "Sure beats having to work in a regular job with a boss telling you what to do."
Mordecai ponders on David's comment for a moment and responds on a positive note, "Yeah... it does sound like a cool job."
"Thanks kid. However, the payment doesn't always go all that well." Spike admitted.
"Well since we're all new here, would you care to join us?" David offered. "That is if you're interested to tag along with our group."
Spike looks at the young man and shrugs, "Suppose I have time. There's not gonna be any problem with your friends is there?" He points out receiving glares from Twilight, Mordecai and Rigby.
"Does he have to come along?" Mordecai scowled.
"It's just for a little while." David informed. "Besides, he's helped us out before."
"We'll let it side for now..." Twilight scorned. "Go ahead and lead the way, David."
"So much for a warm welcome back..." Spike murmured.
David and party move along with the bounty hunter at their side. "So what happened after you left the Resistance?" David brings up.
"Well for one thing... I managed to get myself a decent meal out of the job." Spike said humorlessly.
"Is that all?" Eddy scoffed.
"...And since I'm a little low on cash, I just so happened to stumble upon this place."
"Who would've thought we'd run into each other again." David remarked.
"Yeah, who figured?" Eddy uttered.
Later, a large building can be seen into view as David and the others walk towards it. They stop at the front gates and gaze at the sight in awe.
"What a fascinating building?" Double D said.
"It's huge!" Eddy exclaimed. "What do you think they have inside?"
"By any chance is this building supposed to be a castle?" Twilight questioned leaving everyone to look at her strangely.
"It's not really a castle, Twilight." David clarified, "But it does seem to stand out more than the rest of the buildings here."
Ed randomly calls out. "We shall storm the fortress and slay all the ogres inside...!"
"Ed, he just said this isn't a castle." Double D corrected.
"I was kind of hoping it was." Rigby admitted.
"Still, I guess it's worth checking out." David mentioned. "Let's go on in."
Before going any further, a female voice calls out. "Hold it right there." They turn around to face a high school girl with an orange-yellow headband with ribbons on the side. "Just what do you think you're doing?"
"Huh...?" Everyone reacted.
David makes the first response, "We were just going inside."
"Not in those clothes you're not! Come with me..." The girl pushes everyone all together, "We're gonna see the Host Club about this."
"W-where the heck are you taking us...?" David demanded.
"You'll see..."
They walk inside the building and through the halls until arriving at a room, which says Music Room #3. "Well, this is it. We're here." The girl said showing them the entrance.
Everyone looked confused, "You want us to go in there?" David pointed.
The girl responds with a nod. As soon as she opens the door, rose petals bloom into view as six handsome boys appear inside, one of them sitting in a chair while the rest are standing.
"U-uh..." Mordecai stuttered, "What is this place?"
"A bit flashy don't you think?" Eddy remarked.
"Welcome..." The boys greeted charmingly. They all appeared to be wearing pale blue blazers with a school seal sewn onto the left breast.
"What have you brought for us today, Haruhi Suzumiya?" The boy in the chair asked. He had pale-blond hair and violet blue eyes.
The girl named Haruhi grins, "I brought you these transfer students. They were walking on campus without uniforms."
"Transfer student's?" Double D let out confused.
"Well now, we can't have that, can we?" The blond haired boy stands up from his chair and approaches, "Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Tamaki Suoh; I am the president of the Ouran Host Club."
"What kind of place is this?" David questioned.
Tamaki explains, "We are a school that blends several educational institutions with every student wearing different uniforms to represent the place he or she attends. Ours is the Elite Private Ouran Academy, one of the founders of this school."
"This is a school?" Eddy exclaimed.
"But we graduated from high school." Rigby mentioned.
"Now let's see here..." Tamaki examines the group. He starts with the Ed's, "You boys seem like your still in middle school. Honey-senpai should help you with your uniforms."
"Uniforms..." Eddy called out, "Hey pal, we ain't wearing no uniforms."
An extremely short boy carrying a pink stuffed rabbit presents himself to the Ed's. "Okay guys, follow me." He takes Eddy by the arm and pulls him along.
"H-hey~ let go kid..." He tries to break free from his grasp but with no prevail. "...Man this kid's strong." He comments then looks back to Double D and Ed "Don't you just stand their guys, help me out here!"
"Perhaps we should follow along with them, Ed." Double D easily submitted.
"Does this mean we're gonna get special weapons to face off titans…" The lovable oaf mentioned on the way.
Next, Tamaki turns his attention over to Mordecai and Rigby. "As for the two of you, you seem perfect enough to attend Youkai Academy. Kyoya here will help you get situated."
Another boy wearing slim, rimless glasses steps forth, "Right, follow me gentleman." He said leading the way, "We'll find you the right size uniforms to wear."
"Ah man, do we have to?" Rigby groaned.
"Just do as he says." Mordecai sighed.
"And what do we have here?" Tamaki turns his attention to Twilight, "My, well aren't you an angel... Curious to attend our school are you?" The charming boy flirted, unfazed by her appearance.
Twilight blushes, "Awww~ I'm quite flattered." David on the other hand rolls his eyes. "As a matter in fact, I was looking forward to doing some research on your civilization."
"Is that so? Well then, you will also do just fine in Youkai. Kaoru and Hikaru will lend you some assistance."
"Huh?" Twilight raised a brow. She soon found both her arms wrapped around by identical twins.
"Allow us to show you your uniform miss…"
"It's right this way."
"...Wait hold on?" Twilight exclaimed. "David! Help…!" She cried looking back to him.
"Hey let her go!" David protested trying to step in.
"Not so fast." Tamaki halted. "We still need to decide on what uniform you'll be wearing. Hmm..." He ponders at David from head to toe, "Your fashion appears to be all dark, so what would be right for you. Ah~ I know, Ashford Academy will do the trick. Mori, would you be so kind to show our guest the changing room."
David suddenly felt a presences towering over him and looks over his shoulder to see an imposing figure. The young man gawked at his sheer size, "This way." The boy said, leading David to the changing room. He then hands him his uniform. "Put this on." He said.
David sighs and goes in to change from his attire. Moments later, he steps out into his school uniform, black jacket with gold trims and lining with the school's logo on the neck over a white long sleeved shirt, black trousers, and black shoes. "Happy?" David called out in annoyance.
Upon seeing him dressed in it, Tamaki praises him, "You look absolutely stunning my good sir."
"Good, now what?"
"Now for you to go out there and show the world who you truly are..." Tamaki beamed pointing upwards. He then shoves David out into an empty hallway and slams the door behind him.
"That... was weird." The young man muttered.
"David, is that you?"
David turns around and notices the Ed's all wearing Gakuran uniforms. "Wow, you guys don't look half bad in Japanese school clothes." The young man commented humorously.
"Same goes with you." Eddy added then questions. "But just what the heck is with this place? Don't they know its summer vacation? They should be out of school by now."
"We've seemed to stumble into Anime territory." Double D informed. "Just like in Japan, their summers usually start later than ours."
"That's stupid, who the heck would wanna stay in school longer?"
"Tell us about it..." David and the Ed's turn their attention around to Mordecai and Rigby, also in uniforms. Mordecai continues his sentence. "I mean, school is great and all, but why have a short summer?"
"Who knows? Maybe they don't know how to have good summers like we do." Rigby remarked.
"By any chance did you guys see Twilight anywhere?" David asked.
"We thought she was with you." Mordecai replied.
"She was but we got split up. They placed her into the same school after you guys."
"Well, she is a girl. She probably came out of the girls changing room, wherever that is." Mordecai suggested. "We didn't see her afterwards. They just shoved us out in the hallways."
"Same here..." Eddy added.
"Man this sucks." Rigby muttered, "I can't believe we have to wear these stupid clothes just to get in here."
"It doesn't bother me." Double D responded, "As a matter in fact, I quite enjoy these uniforms."
"Have we become anime characters, you guys?" Ed uttered.
"I don't think wearing school uniforms makes us into anime characters that easily, Ed." David said. "Now the real question is where we're supposed to go?"
Suddenly, a bell rings, and dozens of students in different uniforms pour into the hallway. The crowds of anime characters washes the Ed's, Mordecai, Rigby, and David further away from each other as they desperately try to reach out. "Hey, guys!" David cried completely overwhelmed by elementary, middle, and high school students.
He stumbles his way through the crowd and collides into someone falling in a heap with him on top. The young man looks down at a girl sporting mid-length dark blue tinted hair with a single left-swept red highlight on her bangs and blue eyes having gear-shaped pupils. After a pause of several seconds, she glares at him. "Get off me!" The girl pushes him off.
She stands up revealing to be medium height wearing a navy blue sailor uniform. A crop top shirt with mid-length sleeves baring her midriff, skirt held up by suspenders attached to a belt, a sailor styled collar with red strips tied by a multicolored scarf resembling an eyeball as the right side is covered by a black eye patch with an X-shaped scratch over it, white sneakers, and a red, finger-less, left handed glove.
She looks down at David in disgust, "Damn Ashford students..." She sneers and storms off.
"What's her problem?" David said confusingly. He gets back on his feet and it seems the hallways have become clearer allowing him to walk freely. "Now where do I go?"
He wonders outside to find many students walking around on campus. "What school am I supposed to go to again?" He scratches his head, "Was it... something that began with an 'A'?"
"There you are Lelouch…"
David felt a tug on the collar of his jacket, "W-whoa, what the..." He sputters and looks over his shoulder to see a girl with long, bright orange hair in a light yellow jacket.
"We've waited all morning for you; you're not getting away this time." She starts dragging him.
"Hey! ~ hold on!" David babbled, "Where are you taking me...?"
She replies, "To the Student Council of course."
The girl then brings David into an extravagant room, "We're here...!" She said waving her arm. "And I brought Lelouch with me as well."
"It's about time you two showed up." A girl with shoulder-length blonde hair said approaching the two. "Now where did Lelouch wonder off to this time, Shirley?"
Shirley, the orange haired girl, responds irritability, "He was out wondering around on campus, probably trying to avoid today's meeting."
"Typical Lelouch as always... So what was your excuse?"
"Huh, excuse?" David looked confused, "I just arrived here today. ...And my name is not... Lou- whatever his name is." He finishes in frustration.
"...Oh~ I see now, pretending to live in a double life, is that it?" The blond haired girl bantered.
"Geesh Lulu, what is with you today?" Shirley chastised.
"I told you already, my name's not- wait, Lulu?" David uttered.
"What's going on here?" David and the two girls turn their attention over to a young man with light brown hair and forest green eyes. He notices David and asks, "Who's this?"
"Isn't it obvious, Suzaku?" The blonde haired girl said. "It's Lelouch, pretending he doesn't know who we are."
"Um... I'd hate to tell you this, Milly, but that's not Lelouch." The young man, Suzaku pointed out.
"Huh?" Both girls reacted surprisingly.
"What do you mean?" Shirley asked.
"Well for one thing, his hair style is much different than Lelouch's, and so is his eye color."
Both girls take a closer look for further inspection as David stood still on edged. They soon gasp upon realization. "Oh my gosh, you're right, Suzaku." Shirley cried and imminently bowed to David, "I'm so terribly sorry. You almost look like someone I know from the back, I thought you were him."
"It's... alright, really." David said sheepishly.
"You'd have to forgive Shirley here. She has a thing for our Vice President." The blonde haired girl said.
"Madam President...!" Shirley cried.
"In any case, let's introduce ourselves. My name's Milly Ashford, I am the president of the Ashford Academy's student council. You've already met Shirley."
"Sorry again for dragging you all the way over here." Shirley sheepishly apologized.
"Suzaku here is one of our honorary members; you should thank him for his assistance."
"It was really nothing, Milly." Suzaku chuckled then faces David for a proper introduction, "My name's Suzaku Kururugi. Hope your first time meeting the student council wasn't too overwhelming."
"Not as overwhelming as the rest of this school." David mentioned sarcastically.
"There are two more members and Lelouch. Speaking of him, where is he?"
"Sorry we're late." Another student walks into the room. He was a handsome, young man with black hair and violet eyes. "Sayoko was off for today so Nunnally needed my assistance."
With him was a fairly short young man with dark blue hair. "Lelouch here needed a ride to school and the traffic was brutal." He notices David in the room, "Huh... is the student council getting a new member today?"
"Oh, that's right." Milly acknowledged, "We never got your name."
"It's David..."
"Nice to meet ya, David." The blue haired student greeted approaching him. "The name's Rivalz. I'm the student council's secretary, and this is my pal, Lelouch, he's the Vice President."
"It's a pleasure to meet you." The dark haired student, Lelouch casually greeted.
"So you're, Lou... Lelouch was it?" David pointed at him unsure of. "Sorry, I'm not really good with pronouncing names sometimes."
"It's quite alright. So what brings you to the student council today, David?"
"Actually, it's a funny story Lelouch," Milly jested, "Shirley here, thought this young man was actually you."
"Milly…"
"Hey, you're right..." Rivalz acknowledged taking a closer look at David. "He almost does look like Lelouch. He'd make a perfect doppelganger too; wouldn't you say buddy?" He turns to face Lelouch.
"I can defiantly see the resemblance." Lelouch played along.
"He sure fooled us..." Milly said. "I can see why Shirley thought you looked like him. The two of you almost have similar traits, minus the green eyes of course."
"You're not trying to go around on campus pretending to be me, are you David?" Lelouch bantered.
"Of course not," David replied, "I just arrived here today."
"Today?" Milly repeated. "Does that mean you're a transfer student?"
"Yeah... sort of."
"I didn't know we were expecting to have a transfer student today." Shirley said puzzled.
The rest of the students look at David almost suspiciously. "Guess you could say it was kind of a last minute decision." The young man remarked trying to sound believable.
"Well then Mr. Transfer student, starting today you are now the Student Council's errand boy." Milly informed.
"Errand boy?" David reacted.
"Is that really necessary, Milly?" Suzaku questioned.
"Of course it is. We can't welcome a commoner into our school so easily."
"What's the supposed to mean?" David exasperated.
"Hey, no sweat new guy." Rivalz said wrapping an arm around David's neck, "Why don't we show you around the school to help you get started."
"Once you're done with him, report back to me so I can give David here his first assignment." Milly ordered.
David sighs, "This is going to be a long day..." As he heads with Rivalz and Suzaku, Lelouch eyes the young man as he leaves the room.
The scene changes over to the Ed's entering their homeroom as they look upon different anime students waiting for class. "I can't believe we're actually attending a Japanese school." Double D said delighted as he looks back at his friends. "Isn't this exciting? Learning so much about different cultures?"
"Only you would find this enjoyable." Eddy said not so delighted.
"How about you, Ed?"
The lovable oaf jollily scans the room until he notices a female student with blue hair and pale white skin looking out the window emotionless seemingly withdrawn from the whole class. He reaches into his coat to pull out what looks like a magazine and flips through the pages.
"Whatcha lookin' for, Ed?" Eddy asked.
Ed stops at a particular page in shock and answers, "I know that girl, you guys." He then shows the page revealing the girl on it wearing a white plugsuit. "She's from the anime, Neon Genesis Evangelion."
"Never took you for a fan of anime, Ed." Double D said.
"Hey~ if you know the girl, how bout talkin to her?" Eddy encouraged.
Without any hesitation, Ed goes up to the blue haired girl. She notices him revealing her pink eyes and seems unfazed by his presence. "Can I help you?" She asks.
Ed blurts out to the girl, "You're Rei Ayanami."
"Um... yes." She replied.
"I am Ed. I've see you fight giant aliens from outer space using your giant robot."
"We prefer to call them Evas." The girl named Rei said.
"Could Ed get a giant robot of his own?"
Rei shakes her head in response, "You are not bonded like the rest of us."
"But Ed would make a good bond to his robot for I am Ed and I use giant robots to destroy alien invaders."
Rei looks at Ed with a blank expression, "Wouldn't you be afraid of dying?"
"Ed shows no fear in anything." The lumpy Ed-boy said boldly, "Except for the Kanker sisters..."
In the background, Double D and Eddy watch in awe and shock by Ed babbling onto Rei, "I don't believe it Double D." Eddy said baffled, "Ed's actually talking to a girl, and it isn't one of the Kankers."
"Good for him. I'm glad to see Ed has no problem making new friends." Double D approved. "Now let's find ourselves some good seats."
"Already, but we just got here." Eddy remarked. "Can't we at least have some fun before the class starts?"
"Nonsense, Eddy. Nothing starts a good impression at a new school by finding a perfect seat."
He looks around the room and locates an empty spot in the center. As he reaches for the desk, his hand touches another student's hand and flinches. "Oh, I'm terribly sorry. I didn't know this was your desk." He soon realizes the student is a girl.
"It's quite alright." She said politely. She had long brown hair, a physically developed body, and was gorgeous.
The Sockhead Ed-boy froze, as he gazes upon a vision of utter beauty. The girl looks at him in curiosity, "Is everything alright?"
"O-of course..." He managed to speak out a little nervously.
"Say, I've never seen you around here before. Are you new?"
"Why, yes I am... My name's Eddward, but you may call me Double D if you like."
The girl giggles in response, "It's nice to meet you, Double D. My name is Rin. Welcome to our school."
"It's a pleasure to be here." Double D acknowledged calmly.
"Hey Rin, who's your new friend?" A girl with blue hair asked. With her was a girl with bright, blond-hair.
"This is Double D; he's a new student here." Rin introduced.
"New student huh?" The blue haired girl looked at him. She grins and introduces herself, "Nice to meet ya. Name's Miyuki."
"And I'm Chizuko." The blonde-haired girl greeted after.
"So you're a transfer student, right? Where you from?" Miyuki asked.
"He looks like he's from America." Chizuko guessed, "Is the food where you're from good over there?"
Double D looked at all three girls anxiously shaken by how cute they were. Unable to speak, he collapses onto the floor surprising all three girls.
"Hey~ is he alright?" Miyuki asked.
"He just fainted." Rin responded kneeling down to him.
"Does he need a doctor?" Chizuko suggested.
Double D slowly opens his eyes still gazing upon the three girls who look down upon him in concern. "Do you need some help?" Rin asked worriedly
Double D leans up trying to remain calm, "It's... alright, really." He said sheepishly. "Sorry for worrying all of you."
"That's a relief." Miyuki remarked.
"Don't scare us like that, new guy." Chizuko pouted.
"Here, let me help." Rin offered a hand helping him up. "You gave us quite a scare."
"To be honest, I've never actually met such nice beautiful girls before back home." Double D commented realizing what he just said.
All three girls giggled at his comment, "So, you think we're nice and beautiful huh?" Miyuki teased. Double D showed a slight chuckle.
This act draws a shocked gaze from Eddy, "Even Double D's making a good impression on the girls at this school... What am I standing here for? I gotta find me some cute girls to talk to."
He spots a girl with blue-gray hair in buns sitting at her desk reading and makes a move, "Hey there..." Eddy tried smooth talking to her, "You feel like chatting with a charming new student?" He grins.
The girl shows no interest to him and looks the other the way. "Hmp~"
Elsewhere, Mordecai and Rigby are stuck wondering an empty hall. "Maaaaannn… this school is annoying." Rigby complained. "First we have to put on these stupid clothes, then we almost get trampled by a bunch of high schoolers, and now we don't know where we are."
"Stop complaining, Rigby." Mordecai demanded. "Just help me find our class so we don't get in trouble."
Rigby sighs, "Fine... so where we going?"
"If I knew that we wouldn't be lost." Mordecai stated shifting his head back and forth. He glances on one side where a glimpse of someone is peering out before looking away. He suddenly looks back to see nobody there.
"Dude, did you see that?"
"See what?"
"Thought I just saw someone..." He looks back and sees the same figure sticking their head out. "There it is again! Do you see it?" He pointed hysterically.
The raccoon looks for himself but finds nobody. "You're probably just seeing things." Rigby shrugs it off. "C'mon, let's find our class."
"But..." Mordecai tries to explain, but stops and decides to shrug it off. "...maybe you're right."
The blue jay turns around once more much to his surprise, he finds a girl out of uniform behind him. She had light purple hair, blue eyes, with a bit of purple at the top and blue pupils. She also had a lollipop in her mouth.
"Are you lost?" She asked.
"Uh... yeah kind of," Mordecai answered sheepishly. "We're sort of new here."
"Hey, who's this?" Rigby questioned.
"It's Mizore." The girl mentions her name, "And you two are Mordecai and Rigby."
"Whoa!" Rigby exclaimed, "How do you know our names?"
"I saw you two from early in the hallway with the rest of your friends."
"You wouldn't happen to know what class we're in, do you?" Mordecai asked.
The girl takes a long look at him, "You're a lot cuter up close."
"Wait what!" The blue jay reacts frantically.
"Man this girl is freaking me out." Rigby cringed, "Let's get out of here."
Without looking, Rigby bumps into someone else. He looks up to see a female student with light ocean blue hair tied back, deep purple eyes and G-cup breast. However, he accidently stares up looking under her skirt. The student shrieks as Rigby screams.
"Hey~ how dare you look up someone else's skirt, you pervert!"
"Don't call me a pervert!" Rigby retorted, "You're the one walking around with a short skirt."
"So you were looking up my skirt then?"
"No I wasn't!"
As Rigby and the busty student glare at one another, a teacher with hair shaped like cat ears walks out into the hall. "What's with all the commotion?" She notices the two female students, "Kurumu, Mizore, there you two are. Class has already started." She then notices Mordecai and Rigby as well. "Oh, you two must be the new transfer students I've heard. You two will also be attending this class as well."
"Great, now I'm gonna be stuck in the same class with him." The student, Kurumu scoffed.
"I don't wanna be in the same class with you either." Rigby replied angrily.
"Looks like we'll be taking the same class together Mordecai." Mizore said looking at him delighted.
"Y-yeah... looks like we are, huh?" Mordecai chuckled nervously before entering the classroom after Mizore.
Back with David, "Man... this has been a pain all day." The young man sighed irritably.
He soon notices many people in front of him staring at something.
"What's happening here?" He approaches trying to get a good view.
Marching down the aisle between the crowded lines were five fearsome students wearing bluish-white and silver uniforms that stood out compared to everyone else's uniforms. In the center was a tall slim woman with an angular face, rather thick eyebrows and a rather large bust sporting long black hair and blue eyes.
David stares at her passing through, "Who's that?" He asked marvelously.
"That's the Student Council of Honnōji Academy..." Next to him was a familiar red hairpiece girl from earlier. "Don't be too surprised. It's all just for show." She looks over to David and pauses for a moment.
After a quick glance at one another, the two gawked. "Hey! You're that student from earlier!" Both shouted at each other.
The girl backs away in defense, "You have some real balls showing your face around me again Ashford student."
"Huh-?" David sputtered. "W-wait a second, you have it all wrong..."
"Yeah right, why should I listen to some snobby rich boy like you?"
"Hey, don't call me snobby!" The young man bickered.
"Whatever ever, you rich kids are all the same to me." The delinquent girl mocked.
"Trust me; I want nothing to do with them." The young man confirmed, then admits, "As a matter in fact, I'm not even all that rich."
"Huh? Then why are you wearing that uniform?"
"It was kind of just given to me out of random." David explained, "Guess they thought it suits me."
The delinquent girl glares at him for a moment before relaxing, "Alright, you seem like you're telling the truth. So, you gotta name?"
"Yeah, the name's David. And you?"
Before she could reply another female voice calls out, "Ryuko!" Out of nowhere, a teenage girl with brown hair styled in a bowl cut and brown eyes wearing a standard uniform tackles her in surprise. This also surprised David as he watches the delinquent getting nuzzled.
"Huh? Who's this?" The brown haired girl asked noticing David "Is he a new friend of yours Ryuko?"
"We just met actually..."
The brown haired girl then faces the young man up close greeting herself hyperactively, "Hello new guy! I'm Mako Mankanshoku, Ryuko's friend."
"N-nice to... meet you..." David awkwardly responded.
"This is David, he's new here." Ryuko introduced.
"So David, would you care to join us for lunch? My mom made plenty of food." Mako offered.
"It's alright; I'm not really all that hungry anyway." The young man politely declined.
"Oh come on, you'll love it." Mako insisted pulling David along with Ryuko. "You haven't tasted anything until you tried my mom's cooking."
"But I-"
"Just go along with it." Ryuko said.
As the three wonder elsewhere, a large, dark creature hangs from above undetected as it looks down with bright red eyes locking its attention onto the three.
