Haruka's POV :
When i exited the office, I see STARISH and Quartet Night standing outside the door.
" Were you guys perhaps eavesdropping? " I asked.
" O-of course not Haru-Haru! We will not do that! " Kotobuki-senpai stammered.
" Your newspaper is upside down. " I pointed.
" A-ah! " He panicked as he turned his newspaper to the correct side.
" Just like we expected, you are here Haruka. " A voice spoke.
I turned around and saw Heavens standing in front of the entrance door.
" What are you guys doing here? " Shinomiya-san asked.
" We are here to fetch Haru-nee! " Nagisa said cheerfully.
" Me? " I asked.
" Yes you. " Kira said as he pointed at me.
" For? " I quetsioned further.
" We are going shopping for the party tonight. " He answered.
" You guys are invited too? " Camus-senpai asked.
" Yes of course. " Eiichi answered.
" Now if you excuse us. Haruka let's go. " He offered his hand.
" No i'm not going. " I said.
" Why not? " He asked.
" You guys always buy me new dresses for every single occasion there is and I haven't even wore most of them. " I explained.
" That's true but i don't see anything wrong with buying new dresses for our composer even though she already have tons of them. " He said and the rest of Heavens nodded in agreement.
I scratched my head in frustration " What word from ' I haven't even wore most of them' do you not understand. Take the money and donate it to charity. It will be put into a better use than buying me another dress. Plus do you guys know how tiring it is to try dresses after dresses? How about you 3 try out dresses while i wait? "
" 2 wish coupon and 1 cancel coupon. "
" Eh? " I said.
" If you go shopping with us we will give you 2 wish coupon and 1 cancel coupon. " Nagisa said.
" That's not fair bribing me with coupon. " I pouted.
" What coupons are you guys talking about? " Tomo-chan asked.
" Ah. I'm sorry i forgot you guys didn't know what we were talking about. This is our thing. " I said.
" The one with wish coupon can ask the other party to do anything and they will have to do it and cancel coupon can allow you to cancel anything the other ask you to do. For example they ask you to do something unreasonable or something you really don't want to do then you can use the cancel coupon to cancel it. " I explained.
" But I'm still not going. " I added on, determined.
" Ah. You really leave me with no choice. " Eiichi said as he started to walk towards me.
Before I knew it I was lifted off the ground, carried bridal-style by Eiichi.
" Let me down this instant. " I said, trying to struggle out of his arms.
" I'm not going to apologize since you ask for it. " He said.
" Now let's see each other at the ball. " He walked towards and door and exited. He carried me all the way to their car and settled me in. As soon as everyone is in, the car drove off.
" Ne, do i really have to go dress shopping no matter what? " I asked, struggling with my seatbelts.
" Of course! There will be many famous people at the party tonight therefore we will have to look our best! " Nagisa said with his usual cheery voice as he helped me with the seatbelts. I mouthed a thank you and he smiled.
" Usual place? " I gave up trying to reason with them as i know that they will not listen.
" Yes. " Kira answered.
Just when i was about to plug in my earphones, Eiichi spoke " Haruka, you shouldn't be spending so much time with them. "
" I don't see why I can't. They are just friends. " I replied. He gave a small frown and I immediately know what he was worrying.
" Don't worry. Nothing can change the fact that I am Heaven's composer. " I gave them a reassuring smile.
" Now let me enjoy my music. " I plugged my earphones in.
After a 40 minutes car ride, we finally reach our usual place.
" Good Afternoon Heaven's and Miss Nanami. Are you here for dress and tuxedo shopping? " The female assistant asked politely.
" Yes. "
" This way please. " She gestured for us to follow her.
We were lead to a place where all the newest dresses and tuxedo were.
" Let's see. " Nagisa said as he roamed around the room freely.
" Haru-nee try this! " He said as he threw the dress towards me and I barely caught it.
" This too. "
" This. "
" And this. "
" Wow this is pretty! Try this! "
" Now go and get changed. " They said in unison and pushed me towards the dressing room.
" Alright. " I said.
I exited the fitting room after i have changed into my first dress.
" What do you guys think? " I asked and they shake their heads disapprovingly.
" Not this one. Change. " Eiichi said and I sighed.
Before i know it, I have been changing in and out of different dresses. I stepped out of the fitting room in the 10th dress i have tried on.
" No again? " I asked.
" This is perfect. " They said and I smiled. Finally the dress shopping is coming to an end.
" We will take this one. Together with the tuxedo we have picked. " Eiichi said to the female assistant.
" Wait, you have already picked out your tuxedos? " I asked.
" Yup because Haru-nee took a long time! " Nagisa said.
" Whose fault do you think it is! " I exclaimed.
" Mah mah. Let's go now. I'm sure you don't want to stay here any longer. " Eiichi said and I nodded. We headed for the car and left.
Time Skip
It was the time for the party and I am in the van outside the party venue. I am wearing a simple floor length black dress that showed my bare back. I let my curled-hair down naturally and completed the look with a pair of black stilettos and a silver clutch bag. Even from the car, I could hear the non-stop shuttering of the camera. I was indeed getting nervous. Suddenly, Eiichi grabbed my hands and gave it a tight squeeze.
" Don't worry you look absolutely beautiful. " He gave said and I smiled at him.
" Let's go. " He said and he slide the door open.
He helped me down and we make our way towards the hotel with paparazzi taking photos of us. When we got in, I spot Tomo-chan with STARISH and Quartet Night. I walked over to them and say hi.
" Haruka! You look so beautiful! " She said as she held my hands.
" Lady you look absolutely stunning. " Jinguji-san said.
" Thank you. All of you look great too. " I smiled as I looked at at them.
" Ah Haruka, Heavens there you are. " A voice spoke.
I turned to see who was calling me and to my surprise, it was Raging.
" Good evening President. I didn't know you would be coming as well. " I said.
" Saotome invited me. Of course i would come. Anyways I want the four of you to meet Mr Igarashi. He is the boss of the largest recording company in Japan. " He said as he gestured towards the man who i assume is Mr Igarashi.
" Good to see you, Mr Igarashi. " I bowed slightly.
" Good to see you too Miss Nanami. You are even more beautiful than what people have said." He said as he handed me a glass of red wine that he took from the butler.
" I am very honored by your praise. You look very handsome yourself too. " I said.
" Hahahaha. You sure have sweet mouth. Cheers. " He said as he raised his wine glass.
" Cheers. " I said as I took a sip of the wine.
After that, Heavens took over the conversation and I slipped away. I never liked being in such a serious conversation. I walked and walked in a aimless direction and reached the back garden.
" Nanami! " I heard a voice called.
" Oh Ittoki-kun and minna-san. " I said.
" You slipped away? " Hijirikawa-san asked me.
I nodded and laughed. " Looks like i'm not the only one. "
All of them laughed a little and awkward silence filled the atmosphere. Unable to stand the silence any longer, I decided to break the silence.
" It has been awhile. How have all of you been? " I asked.
" We have always been looking for you ever since you left. " Shinomiya-san said.
" I see. All the while I have been closer then you guys think. " I replied.
" Nana- " Ichinose-san was about to ask me something but he was cut off by Tomo-chan.
" Haruka! "
" Tomo-chan? What is it? Why are you looking so excited? " I asked her.
" Haruka! You might no believe this but Minamoto Ryouta is here! " She exclaimed.
My heart stopped. Minamoto Ryouta. The name that I didn't want to hear.
" Minamoto Ryouta... " I muttered under my breath.
" Yes! That Minamoto Ryouta! The hottest star is back! Let's go see him right now! " She said as she pulled my hand.
However i stayed rooted to the ground.
" I'm sorry but I don't think I am interested to see him. " I said.
" Why Haruka? It's a rare opportunity! " She tried to convince me.
" Wait. He's back? I thought he went to America a few years back. " Syo asked.
" Rumors say that he was back a month ago but it wasn't confirmed so no one could be sure. Never thought he was really back. " Shinomiya-san said.
" Haruka. "
That voice. I immediately know who it belongs to. It was all too familiar. I turned around to see who i expected to see. Minamoto Ryouta, the one who left me. Before I knew it i was enveloped into a tight hug. I could hear gasp of shock from the rest of them.
" Haruka, I missed you. "
His scent, his touch I missed it all too much. However, I knew that I needed to stay firm. I couldn't let myself go through another heart break again.
" Let go of me. "
" Haruka please. "
I struggled and managed to struggle out of his tight embrace.
" Excuse me Minamoto-san. I don't think we have any special kind of relationship for you to be calling me by my first name. " I said calmly.
" Haruka please listen to me just once. " He said, almost begging.
" I'm sorry but I have to go. Please excuse me. " I said as politely as I can before i returned back indoors.
" Wait Haruka! " Tomo-chan shouted.
STARISH's POV :
We were all shocked by what has just happened. There was one thing we all needed to know. Who is this guy.
" Who are you. How are you related to Nanami-san. " Ichinose spoke up.
He looked at us. " I''m Minamoto Ryouta. Haruka's ex-boyfriend I guess. "
All of our eyes widened in shock.
" So you are the guy who left Haruka in heartbreak? You have left her now why are you coming back! " Tomochika asked him angrily.
" I had no choice but to leave! " He said loudly.
" I'm sorry for my sudden outburst. I will leave now. " He said and left.
Haruka's POV :
As soon as I walked back into the hotel, Heavens came running to me.
" Where were you? We were so worried. " Eiichi asked.
I didn't reply but instead I moved forward and hugged him. I didn't know why I did that.
" Haru-nee what's wrong? " Nagisa asked, panicking by my behavior .
" You met him? " Kira asked me and i just nodded.
" I want to go back. I don't want to stay here any longer." I said.
" Alright, let's go. " Eiichi said as he grabbed my hand, pulling me out of the hotel.
Soon after we go into the van and was on our way back. Throughout the ride i just look out of the windows. Hoping this was all a bad dream and I would wake up from it the next day.
