I haven't updated in a long time im aware… :\

Vegeta grabbed my hand and lifted me off the ground with him, we were flying.

"Whoa!" I said taken by surprise. My blue hair was blown backwards and I looked up at Vegeta.

"Do you really think Freiza will give up on us like that?" I asked, "We killed Zarbon so wouldn't that make him even more pissed off?"

"Damn earth woman, stop worrying, I'll kick his ass, we just need to find a place to rest so I can be strong enough to take him!" Vegeta snarled as if I was doubting his abilities.

"Oh, ok," I whispered, "So where are we going now?" I asked in a normal tone of voice.

"Somewhere safe," Vegeta answered dully.

We didn't talk for a long time until Vegeta had landed in the forest.

"At least Frieza can't find us here, but if he decides to blow up the whole planet then it wouldn't have really mattered much anyways…" Vegeta said angrily.

"Blow up the planet? He can do that?" I said wide eyed.

"Yes of course he can! I could do it too if I wanted, but Frieza cant destroy too much human life if he wants a decent price on this planet so that's the only reason I doubt he would blow it up so easily, hes not gunna go down without a fight."

"That's… reassuring," I said sarcastically, "So anyways," I continued, "Why did you choose this place to hide out? Theres nothing here."

"Wrong Bulma," he pointed at a shallow looking cave in a rather large boulder, it looked as though it had been carved out purposefully.

I felt my jaw drop, "Do you actually expect me to stay in a place like that!" I said angrily.

"Yes stupid earth-woman!"

"Fine!" I turned away from him like a bratty child, "but I won't like it," I stuck my nose up.

"It's easily hidden from sight and I can always fly over to that abandoned store to grab us more food," Vegeta explained.

"Oh I guess that makes sense, but what will we sleep on I don't wanna sleep on just dirt," I made a weird face imagining little bugs crawling all over me and biting me and getting all that dirt stuck in my hair.

"Are you earthlings always so needy!?" Vegeta demanded.

"No!" I argued, "I just would prefer not to sleep on dirt and a possible pile of animal shit!"

Vegeta sighed, "You're really annoying, you know that?"

"So?"

"Fine stay put ill go get something to lay on…." Vegeta kicked off into the sky again.

I sat in silence taking refuge into the dark little cave. It began to lightly rain out and I wondered how long Vegeta would take. I wished he would bring thick blankets with fat fluffy pillows and maybe marshmallows to eat or strawberries. But I doubted it.

I wriggled my dirty bare feet into the moist earth and thought about things I used to think about before I got kidnapped by some crazy space alien. I thought about how badly my toes needed a pedicure and how much my hair needed to be cut and shown a little love.

Vegeta came back quicker than I expected maybe he flew faster without carrying a one hundred and eight pound teenage girl. In his arms he had two thin dark blue sleeping bags, no pillows and no marshmallows, no strawberries. I couldn't get myself to ask for any of those things because I had already been too needy.

"Thank you," I said helping Vegeta inside our secret hidey-hole.

He grunted; I took that as a non-verbal you're welcome from him.

I laid out both of the sleeping bags and took off my jeans so I was just in a T-shirt and panties. I sat on top of mine and look curiously at Vegeta.

"You know u can sit down right?" I asked noticing there were droplets of rain stuck to his face.

Vegeta sat down on the sleeping bag next to mine stiffly, almost as if he was reluctant to sit down.

"Thank you for putting up with me even though I'm so needy," I smiled and hugged him tightly pressing my breasts against his warm chest.

He patted my back and I moved my legs forward so I was sitting on his lap.

"You're really warm," I shivered into his arms. I knew he wasn't enjoying me this close to him and was just tolerating me, but for some reason he obviously cared about me enough to keep me alive.

I blushed and looked up at his face when I felt something poke me from the inside of his pants onto my panties. He was hard? Ok… so apparently he didn't mind this that much.

I wasn't sure how to react to this sayian being sexually attracted to me so I backed up my hips a little bit.

"Um…" I looked up at him positive my face was beet red.

Vegeta instantly pushed me off his lap so I landed hard on my ass and was several feet away from him with my legs sprawled.

"I'm sorry," I whimpered crawling into the warmth of my sleeping bag. I didn't understand why Vegeta had reacted like that; he must have known I felt him hard and was about to comment on it. Maybe he was embarrassed, I had no idea.

I shivered in my sleeping bag, it was summer, yes. But it was raining outside and this cave was cool and raised goosebumps on my skin.

I curled myself into a little ball and snuggled into the sleeping bag with no pillow. I tried to pretend Vegeta's gaze wasn't on me but I felt it burn into the back of my head. I don't know why, but I cared about him. He was helping me, even though he was really grouchy. And I sorta loved him….

He was nothing like Yamcha but Vegeta seemed to be the only man out there who would protect me. Before I could realize it, the words slipped from my lips and out into the open air.

"I love you Vegeta."

His eyes met mine with a questioning look and he remained silent. I felt a blush creep up on my face. I can't believe I just said that to some alien. I should love my Yamcha, not Vegeta. Vegeta was kinda nice (sometimes) sure, but I surely couldn't love him….

To be continued…
