Well here we are once again with another chapter of The Shinobi Saga.
Last time: Vegeta and Zarbon fought. Vegeta killed him and battled with Gohan over the DragonBall. The Ginyu Force arrived on Namek.
This time: Well lets find out

(King Kai's planet)
Piccolo sat underneath the only tree that was grown on the Kai's planet. The Namekian was meditating, blocking out all the noise that was being made from Goku's obnoxious friends, slowly strengthening his mind. Piccolo while meditating was also trying to focus in on the battle that was currently taking place on Namek, the home planet he never knew. It seemed Gohan and Krillin had got into a fight and it was only thanks to Vegeta they had survived. Piccolo knew they had underestimated their opponent despite Vegeta's warning. He could only hope Gohan would not make that mistake again.
Meanwhile as Tien and the other dead Z-Fighters were training, King Kai glanced at Piccolo, he could sense the worry almost radiating off the Namekian.
'So you know of the battles taking place on Namek huh Piccolo. I know you want to help them but sadly there is nothing you can do' King Kai thought. The Kai cast Piccolo one last look before turning his attention back towards the Z-Fighters training.

Vegeta growled while he began to draw on more of his power. The ground underneath Vegeta buckled under the pressure that the Saiyan was exerting. The past hour had taken a toll for the worse for Vegeta, Gohan and the others. Gohan and Vegeta had been able to meet up with Krillin to try and come up with some form of strategy to battle the Ginyu Force. But the Ginyu force had intercepted their location and made their intentions known quickly, they were there to take the DragonBalls and kill them. Vegeta knew this was not a group of rookies, the Ginyu force was the best team of fighters in Frieza's possession. And all Vegeta had that could combat against them was a half Saiyan brat and a Earthling, Vegeta knew their chances of victory was slim but their chances at surviving were lower than that.
Gohan and Krillin had taken on the weakest of the Ginyu Force, Guldo first and they struggled against him. Well Vegeta knew they probably could have finished Guldo easily had it not been for the bastards ability to manipulate time. He would freeze time and then get in the position to attack the enemy. Vegeta reluctantly knew he would need the spawn of Kakarot's and the Earthling's help, so he distracted Guldo for a split second. That second was all Gohan needed, he had drawn Crimson Death from it's sheath and cut the fat alien's head clean from his shoulder. Needless to say, the rest of the Ginyu force with the exception of their captain, was less than pleased.
Vegeta was now going up against the muscle of the Ginyu force, Recoome. Recoome was not the brightest of people, hell he was as dumb as a box of rocks but he made up for his lack of intelligence with his speed and strength. A blue aura shrouded Vegeta's body as he felt his energy surge through his veins, increasing his power to new heights. On the other side of the battlefield, Burter, Jeice and Recoome were surprised by the sudden leap in Vegeta's power level.
"You feel that Burter?" Jeice asked his blue skinned partner."Vegeta's energy is growing fast"
Vegeta raced forward, his charge carving a clear path through the ground beneath him. The Saiyan prince released a battle cry as his fist plowed against Recoome's jaw, knocking the much larger fighter off his feet and shattering the scouter that once resided on his face. Not waiting for Recoome to recover, Vegeta used his increased speed to appear behind Recoome and knocked him into the ground. Vegeta heard Recoome grunt in pain, he flew up into the sky. Vegeta charged down from the air, feet forward and ready to hit his target with all the gentleness of a speeding missle. Recoome hacked out a cough as Vegeta's feet buried deep in his stomach, if he had been a normal fighter he would have most likely had a snapped spine.
Vegeta gripped Recoome's large leg in an almost vice like grip before he lifted him up like he weighed nothing, spun Recoome around and chucked the Ginyu Force member as hard as he could. Recoome cried out as he went sailing through the air, not even moments later did he crash through a massive mountain, effectively reducing it to nothing but pebbles and dirt. Vegeta snarled, he knew Recoome wouldn't stay down for too long, not from an attack like that. Vegeta clasped his hands together except his palms and fingers were spread together, a massive amount of Ki energy gathered in his hands, it was such a massive amount that his hands were outlined in a static dark blue aura. With a roar, Vegeta unleashed the Ki wave, the blast tore a large trench in the ground as it continued it's path towards Recoome.
The location where Recoome had crashed lighted up in a massive explosions. Orange hot flames erupted in the sky mixed with a collumn of dark brown soil. Vegeta gritted his teeth, he could still sense Recoome's energy somewhere in that pillar of destruction.
"This ends now!" Vegeta declared, he surprisingly added even more power and the Ki wave got even bigger. The former explosion paled in comparison to the one that was just made. The detonation of the blast was so loud, Gohan and Krillin covered their ears in fear that they might go deaf. Burter and Jeice shielded themselves as piles of rocks went flying their way. Gohan and Krillin leaped to the floor, trying to also shield themselves from the massive impact of the explosion. They couldn't believe how powerful Vegeta was, they knew he was strong but this was just plain ridiculous. You could only imagine how shocked they would be when they found out that Frieza easily outclassed Vegeta in terms of strength and power. Krillin and Gohan slowly got to their feet after the chaos had finally died down.
"Wow that wasn't even a contest, Vegeta just blew that guy away with little to no problems" Krillin said.
Gohan was about to respond before a spike of Ki flashed across not only his but Vegeta's senses. "No way" Gohan said, he couldn't believe what he was feeling, Recoome was still alive! A mighty wind swept through the area and began to blow away the giant dust clouds and it revealed that Recoome was indeed still alive. Recoome smiled wickedly at Vegeta, everyone noticed he had a few cuts here and there and besides his missing armor, Recoome didn't seem like he was in that bad of a shape.
"Hello Vegeta!" Recoome called out almost enjoying the scowl that made it's way on the Saiyan prince's face. Recoome wiped the blood from his lips. "Okay that was a good warm up Vegeta but I think it's time to get the real fight started!" Recoome's words caused Vegeta to tense up, he knew the real battle was about to began and he was slightly worried. Recoome had just taken his best attack head on like it was nothing and he just declared it was a warm up. The worst part is Vegeta had decided not to hold back in the beginning, he had just practically hit Recoome with everything he had and that monster was ready for more. But his pride wouldn't allow him to back down, Vegeta decided he would stand his ground, he would kill this bastard!
"Recoome Kick!" Recoome shouted, he suddenly shot off towards the Saiyan prince. To the observers, Recoome looked like a mini pink comet heading straight towards Vegeta. Vegeta's head erupted in pain as Recoome drove his knee into the Saiyan's cranium. Vegeta went flying, eyes wide in surprise and blood flying from between his lips. Vegeta snapped out of his shock and growled.
'That scum just got a lucky shot is all!' Vegeta thought while ignoring the cries from Gohan and Krillin. Vegeta flipped and sped back off towards Recoome who was slightly surprised that Vegeta was still awake, the brute thought that attack would have left the Saiyan sleeping on the floor. Recoome brought up his arm and blocked Vegeta's fist, he smirked and lashed out with his elbow. Vegeta was able to block the elbow and started to release a furious combination punches. Each punch went faster than the last but Recoome was able to keep up, always avoiding the attack or simply pushing it away.
"You've really gotten stronger Vegeta, but its still not enough to beat me!" Recoome shouted, lifting up his massive arm. "Recoome Elbow!"
Vegeta had no time to react as Recoome's elbow drilled onto the top of his head, he could stop his painful fall into the ground. Vegeta felt his stomach almost turn inside out and had to resist the urge to spit up the blood that was creeping its way up his throat. He sensed danger, Vegeta leaped back just in time to avoid a punch that would have surely knocked him out. Both warriors raced off into the sky, both becoming shrouded in their respective aura's. Hands shrouded in Ki, Vegeta released a volley of Ki blasts at Recoome, the Ginyu Force member showed no fear though.
"To slow Vegeta!" Recoome easily evaded the volley of Ki blasts, gathering his speed, Recoome fazed out of sight. Vegeta felt shock run through him, he couldn't trace the brute's movements! At the last moment, Vegeta sensed Recoome appear behind him but it was already too late, Recoome was already in motion and knocked Vegeta out of the sky. Everyone watched as Vegeta crashed into ocean to their left.
Underneath the water, Vegeta shot through it like a rocket and began to ascend to the surface at an alarming rate. His body broke free from the ocean and he went flying towards Recoome with both of his fists extended and ready to plow through Recoome. Recoome bent in half as Vegeta slammed into his gut with both fists, Recoome's expression of shock and pain morphed into a nasty grin. His larger hands easily wrapped around Vegeta's body and he lifted the smaller Saiyan prince up. Vegeta struggled but he could not escape Recoome's grip, panic slightly filled his body but he refused to show it. But Vegeta knew he was in a bad situation right now. Recoome laughed, he shot off towards the ground with a screaming Vegeta in his grasp. Recoome slammed Vegeta so hard into the ground that once again a giant cloud of dust and dirt erupted. When the dust and dirt cleared, Vegeta's body was submerged into the ground, his legs and half of his torso was the only thing visible. The most of his top half had been buried into the ground.
Gohan and Krillin couldn't believe what they were witnessing, Vegeta had been one of the strongest people they had ever met and here he was being beaten like he was nothing but a helpless child. Meanwhile Recoome grinned down at Vegeta.
"Come on Vegeta, don't tell me that finished you off" He reached down and grabbed the Saiyan princes ankle. With a tug, Vegeta's body came free from its crater in the ground. Vegeta was in a horrid condition, multiple cuts littered his face and he could feel bruises all over. Right now, Vegeta believed himself just lucky to be alive at the moment. Vegeta could hear Recoome's mocking laughter and it infuriated him to no end. He would get the bastard with this next attack, Recoome would not survive this next one. Vegeta snapped open his eyes quickly, enjoying Recoome's moment of surprise. Ki energy swirled into his hands at lightning speed and he blasted Recoome in the face. The giant ball of Ki erupted in Recoome's face and sent the giant fighter flying through the air.
Vegeta dropped to the ground while gasping for breath, that attack had been not only a point blank shot but it had been a face one as well. It also helped that he packed enough power into that attack that it should have blown his head clean from his shoulders. Yes Recoome had finally been defeated and now all he had to worry about was Burter and Jeice. Vegeta stood up and had to close one of his eye's to keep the blood from the cut on his forehead from entering it. He glanced at Recoome to check to see if he was dead, he should have been.
Or so he thought.
Recoome leaped back to his feet, ignoring the cries of shock coming from Vegeta, Gohan and Krillin. "So it seems your fighting dirty now huh Vegeta, thats just fine with me" Recoome said. On the side both Burter and Jeice shook their heads in amusement from the actions of their teammate. They knew Recoome like to flaunt his powers around weaklings. Both knew that Recoome enjoyed the fear that came from his opponents, it filled him with some sort of pleasurable feeling.
On the side, Gohan and Krillin were discussing their plan of attacking Recoome. They knew if Vegeta died their chances of survival would go from slim to absolute zero. Gohan and Krillin watched as Recoome performed a series of rather weird poses and unnatural dancing. They sensed Recoome was gathering his Ki in a single point, they could only guess this would be the kill shot that ended Vegeta. They needed to act now!
"Recoome's Eraser Gun!" Recoome's mouth opened wide and a tunnel of pink death in the form of a Ki wave went sailing towards Vegeta. Vegeta could do nothing but close his eyes slowly and accept death, he had known Recoome was going to be tough but what he had faced today was just plain crazy. Vegeta felt himself being slammed into by a much smaller body and he recognized the energy signal as the spawn of Kakarot's. The half Saiyan had just saved his life. Krillin's foot blasted Recoome in the back of his skull and knocked the larger fighter off his feet.
"Damn brat, do you really believe I needed your assistance?!" Vegeta weakly screamed at Gohan, even though he was thankful that the brat had indeed saved his life, but his pride would never allow him to admit it. Recoome jumped back to his feet and his expression was of utter anger. Thanks to Krillin and Gohan, they had managed to save Vegeta's life and Recoome did not like that one bit.
"Well you little twerps really pissed me off now" He smiled and most of his teeth were missing probably due to some of the Eraser Gunner exploding in his mouth. Recoome turned to his partners. "Hey Jeice, Burter, I will also be killing the two little ones, they want to get involved in my fight then they can die too!" Burter and Jeice just shrugged, it really didn't matter to them how the two little twerps died, just as long as they did.
Recoome turned and faced Krillin, Gohan and Vegeta with a sinister smile, promising that the next few minutes would be nothing but pain for them.

(With Naruto and Goku)
Both watched from the window of the Capsule Corp spaceship as the distance between themselves and the planet Namek grew smaller and smaller. Both could feel the fluctuation of powers being tossed around on Namek and right now it didn't look good for Gohan or the others.
"Just a few more minutes guy's, please just hold on" Naruto whispered, they had trained as much as they could in the spaceship. Both had pushed themselves to their limits and beyond in one hundred time's gravity. They had learned, practiced and refined techniques of theirs, wanting to be in the best possible shape for the upcoming battle on Namek. Now all they could do was wait.
'Krillin….Gohan we will be there soon' Goku thought, his expression was of unmovable determination, he and Naruto was ready for whatever problem Namek would throw in their way.

(With Frieza and Ginyu)
Right now, Frieza was frustrated, very frustrated at that. Ginyu had brought all seven DragonBalls to his ship so he could finally have his wish for immortality but something was wrong, he didn't feel any different. The Captain better hoped he had an answer to his problem or Frieza would kill him. Very slowly and very painfully. But the look of fear on Ginyu's face told him that he did not have the solution to the problem he was currently facing.

(Back to the battle)
Recoome avoided the sharp tip of Crimson Death as Gohan tried to slice the larger fighter to ribbons. The Ginyu Force member was very impressed with not only the power that was packed within Gohan but his skill with the sword. But it still wouldn't be enough to beat him much less kill him. Recoome had defeated Krillin in one blow and now he was facing the twerp with the weird coat.
Gohan dodged a punch that could have possibly cave his skull in, he struck back with a diagonal slash that would either cause a massive gash across his chest or hopefully cleave Recoome in half. Neither happened though as Recoome used his superior speed and disappeared. Gohan quickly brought back his sword, stretching out his senses and waited for Recoome to attack. Gohan didn't have to wait long, Recoome appeared behind him already going for an attack. Gohan leaped back, the spot he had just been at was nothing but a miniature crater. Gohan fazed in and out, the world bent around him at the speeds he was moving at. The son of Goku materialized in the sky, sword back in its sheath and hands blazing with energy.
"Masenko Ha!" Gohan released his attack, Recoome made no attempt to dodge the blast but instead did something that shocked Gohan. He simply took a deep breath and released a powerful gust of wind from his mouth that actually deflected the wind. The Masenko exploded off in the distance but that didn't matter to him, his signature move had just been deflected so easily, the childs small hands twitched in shock. Gohan just couldn't comprehend what he just witnessed. He didn't have time to think on the matter though as Recoome appeared behind Gohan and kicked the kid. Gohan couldn't stop his painful fall into the ground, his body skipped across the surface like a stone would over the surface of a pond. Gohan's body came to a complete stop. The Demi Saiyan hacked out a cough, blood escaped his mouth and landed on the ground next to Gohan.
"I must say you brat I'm impressed but you still can't defeat the mighty Recoome" Recoome said smugly, his voice just dripping with the arrogance that he was feeling. Gohan weakly made it to his feet, ignoring the screaming of his muscles just telling him to stay down. Gohan pulled his sword out from his sheath again, it was obvious that he couldn't face the guy in combat with fists or Ki, his opponent was more superior than himself in those aspects. But Gohan knew he could probably get him with a lucky shot from his sword. The only reason he had missed earlier was because he had charged Recoome head first with no strategy in mind. Now he had a plan.
Gohan pushed his Ki to its limits, his body was hugged in a bright white aura that looked to be mixed with a flame. The ground beneath the smaller fighter buckled and cracked, pebbles levitated as Gohan summoned up more of his power. Burter and Jeice were very impressed, for a kid his age to be as strong as he was, it was almost frightening to them.
'I've only seen Piccolo-sensei do this technique once, I hope I can do it too' Gohan concentrated, trying to activate the technique he wanted. Recoome watched in interest as a second Gohan seemingly materialized out of thin air. He had just done the multiform technique. Gohan stopped his concentration and stared at his duplicate, it wasn't stronger than Naruto's KageBunshin but it would serve it's purpose. The duplicate gave the original a nod, the clone charged towards Recoome with a yell. Recoome's attention shifted from the original to the clone, thats what Gohan wanted. Nobody noticed the original Gohan summoned up all of his speed and vanished. The Gohan clone swung its sword and Recoome easily avoided it.
"Come on is that the best that you can do" Recoome taunted while dodging another strike. With speed faster than the clone could trace, Recoome chopped the through the neck and its form flickered like a television with a bad connection before it vanished completely. "Now time to take care of the other one" Recoome said looking back at the spot to where the original Gohan had once stood only to find out he had vanished.
"Behind you" A voice whispered and Recoome felt a small trail of sweat drip down his neck and his senses went alive with danger. He couldn't sense Ki like a Z-Fighter could so he was unprepared for what was about to come next. He turned and Gohan was already in motion, swinging Crimson death and completely slashed Recoome's left eye. Recoome howled in pain and Gohan felt the Saiyan blood within him starting to boil with the excitement of the battle. Gohan unleashed combination after combination on Recoome who was unable to concentrate on the Demi-Saiyan due to the pain he was feeling. Gohan was throwing punches and kicks as fast as he could throw them and they thankfully connected with some part of Recoome's body. With a roar, Gohan kicked Recoome in the jaw and the massive fighter went flying. The son of Goku watched as off in the distance a mountain exploded. Gohan knew though Recoome was still alive and probably mad as hell, who wouldn't be. On the side, Vegeta was shocked at the scene before him. Goku's spawn had injured Recoome when he himself had not. Though Recoome outclassed both Gohan and himself in power, it seemed the brat found something that would work to his advantage. Add that with some quick thinking and Gohan had been able to come up with a great battle plan. His respect for Gohan went up slightly once more.
Suddenly Gohan and Vegeta caught sight of something in the corner of their vision. They looked to the side to see a spaceship breaking through the atmosphere of Namek and flying off somewhere in the distance.
"Who was that?" Gohan wondered.
"That wasn't one of Frieza's ships, so who is it?" Vegeta asked himself as the design of the ship didn't look familiar at all.

(Elsewhere on Namek)
The Capsule spaceship landed and all its functions began to slowly shut down, the gravity system on the inside began to adjust to the gravity of Planet Namek. The entrance to the ship opened and two figures walked out into the sunlight and felt a fresh breeze of air hit them. It had been so long since they had felt the air of the outside world.
"You ready?" Goku asked the blond.
"Lets do this Goku" Naruto smiled, he sensed both Gohan and Krillin off in the distance and it seemed the two had a great power boost while being on Namek. Goku's smile changed into a stern look, one that only came when Goku was acting as serious as he could.
"Then lets not just stand around here, we have a planet to save" Goku began to levitate in the air, both noded and gathered their powers. Goku was shrouded in a bright blue aura that was tinted with a little white. Naruto's aura was surprisingly a crimson color now and it was tinted with a little black, he could only guess Kurama had something to do with that.
In an instant, both Goku and Naruto appeared on the battlefield, surprising everyone even Recoome who had emerged from the mountain he had been laying in previously. Goku was already on his way to make sure his son wasn't hurt and while Naruto was handing Krillin one of their Senzu Beans.
"Well it seems you two have made it on time" Krillin said weakly while opening his mouth slightly.
"Yeah it seems so, that big guy sure did a number on you. It looks like Gohan has been roughed up himself" Naruto said while feeding Krillin the Senzu Bean since the monk couldn't eat it himself. Krillin felt all his injuries disappear in an instant and he jumped to his feet.
"Yeah you should have seen it, Gohan at first had gotten beaten up by that large guy over there but he used a rather clever strategy and the sword you gave him to give that brute a nice shiner" Krillin said with pride. Naruto noded feeling pride in his student. It seemed Gohan has taken both his and Piccolo's teaching and made them into one, brains and brawns so to speak, a truly deadly combination. Naruto looked over to see that Goku had given not only Gohan a Senzu Bean but Vegeta as well. Naruto would at first be against the idea of giving the arrogant prince a bean but they would probably need all the fighters they could get in the future.
Recoome and the others began to feel very nervous at the moment, it seemed that these two individuals have completely healed the others. This was turning out to be bad but they refused to run away, they were the Ginyu Force after all. Such arrogance would be their downfall.
"Naruto-sensei!" Gohan yelled while hugging his older brother figure and mentor. Naruto chuckled and hugged the kid back. It was good to see him after so long.
"Hey gaki its great to see you again. From what Krillin told me you've been having a real good time using my mom's old sword huh?" Naruto asked with a smile. Gohan rubbed the back of his head in the usual Son manner.
"Yeah I guess you can say it's saved my butt a time or two"
"Good, as soon as this is all over how about I teach you some more Kenjutsu skills and maybe teach you to unlock your Chakra. What do you say?" Naruto asked. He almost burst in laughter at the excited look on his pupil's face.
"Yeah that would be awesome!" Naruto's joyful smile suddenly turned into a serious expression as Goku walked over to him, his expression being mirrored by the Saiyans. "Gohan it's time for me and Goku to clean up the trash right now, so just stay back"
"But sensei" Gohan tried to protest but instantly shut up when he seen the sharp look in the eyes of Naruto. Any traces of joy or amusement were going, replaced with a burning fire for battle. Without another word, both Saiyan and Shinobi began to make their way towards Recoome and the others. Jeice and Burter slightly gulped while Recoome ignored the shiver running up and down his back, something told them this was about to get ugly really fast.

Well this chapter is finally done! Gohan didn't get his neck broken and survived his fight with Recoome thanks to his superior Kenjutsu skills. Gohan is easily smarter than Recoome and knows Kenjutsu so he used those two aspects to his advantage. Recoome still outclasses Gohan in both power and strength.
Also Naruto and Goku have finally arrived on Namek and are ready to do battle. So lets just see what happens on the next chapter. Until then.
