The next few weeks Indie really loosened up, he hooked up with girls (avoiding those mainstream girls in the bars), grew his moustache into a beard, redecorated his flat. Everything was going great. Or...it was until one the day he went to Starbucks. "I'll have your most ironic beverage please and your most unpopular dessert" he said to the girl across the counter as he looked in his trousers for some loose change. "Woullllld you wannnnt suggggar with that?" For a second time froze, scene had not realised who it was she was talking to and he had yet to see her face. "Culkin" was all he could get out, Scene herself had changed quite a lot with her hair a dark brunette wavy fish tail plait and her eyeliner which always looked thick but she could pull it off. Her cheeks were rosy red, probably had been snacking off sweets all through her shifts. There she was, he knew it and shock while she just didn't seem to recognise him. "You know I work at a place called Mymusic" he said stressing the word Mymusic to see if she could click it together. "Oooo I used to work there thats until I got fired by their Rude boss who has a bad moustache growing abilities" he tried his hardest not to flip out at Scenes words. "I like the boss, he has a brilliant mind, excellent choice of lifestyle and has one of the finest facial hairs on the planet. Anyway what did you do next?" Indie played with the counter while Scene continued to make his beverage. "Pfffft you cant be talking about the Indie I knew, anyway I moved in with my now Fiancé. We are currently-" Indie grabbed onto her apron. "Your getting married?" His grip was firm, his eyes were locked, his heart was pounding. Scene dropped the mug onto the floor, her eyes wide and her cheeks reddening in colour. "Indie?" Indie waved while looking at floor. "I think I'll have mine on the table not the floor please". Scene wasn't in the mood for jokes. She took her lunchtime break and went to sit with Indie. He sat opposite her sipping his cup noisily. "Who was she?" Scene's voice was sharp, she looked down at the wooden coffee table. Indie looked confusedly at her while wiping his beverages froth off his beard. "That girl who was in your bed" "Just a girl, you know" Scene's happy nature seemed to be becoming more and more distant. "Thats disgusting" Indie shrugged and leaned back, "Says the one who is marrying Intern 2". Scene smirked, "He's more of a man then you'll ever be".Indie raised an eyebrow. "Because I smell nice?" "Because he is kind and truthful" Indie sighed and sunk into his chair. "You goths are confusing" he muttered with a hidden smirk. "Says the hipster. Tell me this if the mainstream now is to be hipster does that mean that being hipster is mainstream and mainstream is hipster?" Scene had to take a deep breath after that before adding "oh and you smell like a woman" Indie stood up at this point. "Your making a scene Scene" "maybe I am, but thats only because you never gave me a reason for why you fired me" Indie stood frozen as she started to tear up. "I was scared Indie" Without thinking Indie found himself bringing his arms around her into a warm hug, it was nice. "I'm sorry I wasn't there" Scene breathed in to his chest, her fingers along his shoulder blades. "Its okay". At that point there was a "awwwwww" from the rest of the customers having their drinks. "Oh oops sorry guys Im married to someone else, we are just..." Indie smiled, "friends". That was painful to say but it had to be said. He had upset her so much he had to let her go it wasn't his choice. "Thanks Indie" "don't mention it emo" "Don't push iiiit" So as easy as that they started to socialise again. Texting, meeting up, being friends, laughing, joking, helping each other. Until one late night Indie answered the phone from Scene. "Hey...do you want to come over?" - Sorry guys its been so long without a chapter! I hope this is enough I'll try add more soon...I hope theres more season of Mymusic to come out by the fine bros hahaha. I still really ship these two 3
