Elsa's P.O.V
"Get him!" Jack shouts, racing across the marble floor and latching himself onto Flynn's back.
"What the hell!" Flynn shouts, whirling around and stumbling with Jack still firmly attached to his body. He's moving too fast for me to see his face.
"You're coming back to America with us you prick!" Jack yells, wrestling Flynn onto his stomach to the floor. Flynn struggles madly against Jack.
"America?! I'm here for vacation!" He screams angrily, desperate to get away from his assaulter.
"Don't play games, Flynn Rider! The baby needs a dad!" I shout as Jack struggles to keep Flynn from moving. People around stop whatever they were doing to watch us in confusion. I feel nervous as they glare at us disapprovingly. And come on, what does it look like? A girl screaming at two young boys wrestling on the floor about a baby. Speaking of which...
"Baby?!" Flynn asks, his voice a few notes higher than before. Jack flips him over, aiming a fist at his face. I step forward look closer. My heart skips a beat. This isn't Flynn, he only has his hair and a goatee. However I'm too late, Jack already hit the man in the face. I wince and then grab the white haired boy's shirt,
"Jack, get off! That isn't Flynn!" I hiss, pulling my companion back before he can hurt the man anymore. His blue eyes widen in disbelief and I can see all his emotions for a second - anger, confusion, fear, regret. The man stands up, dusting himself off with one hand and using the other to stop the blood gushing from his nose. Now I can see that he looks nothing like Flynn.
"Oh my God, we're so sorry," I gasp, my face heating in embarrassment as the people around us start to whisper and point at us. Someone whips out their phone and starts taking pictures.
"Sorry, man. We all good?" Jack looks sheepish as he apologies to the man who looks outraged.
"Hell no. SECURITY!" The man shouts, trying to block the blood running down his chin and splatting onto his shirt. Three men in policeman vests run up to us. They're not like the ones that are shown in movies with their ridiculous hats. They just look normal. One of them has golden hair and a beard, although he looks quite young. The next one is Asian and has a hard look on his face. The last one is wearing glasses and looks a bit unsure of himself. I look around desperately, trying to find something to get me out of this situation. However all I could see was people, now that they had their share of excitement they went back to whatever they were doing, walking away from the scene. I saw the Flynn look alike talk to the blonde policeman, waving his arms around. The policeman nodded calmly and wrote something down on a piece of paper, passing it to the victim. The man took it without a word and walked away in a huff.
"You two better come with us," another policeman said, putting my hands in cuffs.
Oh no.
"I shouldn't have come with you," Jack stated for the third time in the hour, leaning against our cell's bars. Yes, I know, we haven't been in London for a day yet and we're already in jail. I sighed, massaging my temples, feeling a headache coming on.
"Stop repeating yourself," I grumbled. I had no clue what time it was - the policemen took my phone earlier. I doubted there would be any signal here anyway. The policemen were talking loudly down the corridor, in the office. The Asian hard looking one introduced himself as Constable Li. The one with glasses was Constable Thatch and the blonde guy was Constable De Chateaupers. They all seemed pretty new to the job except Constable Li, who spoke in a low menacing tone. He was really scary. I sighed again. The bench I was sitting on was hard and uncomfortable. They brought us here around an hour ago. The cell was made out of three walls of steel bars and one wall wit a tiny window in it. The cell was dark and grey and rain splattered on the small window. The only thing inside was the bench, that I was currently occupying. At least I knew that we wouldn't be staying here long.
So far the cells on either side of us have been empty but now I could hear shouting down the hall. Jack seemed to perk up now that something was happening, but I didn't have the energy to get up. I ran my hands through my hair in frustration. I was in jail, in a city I didn't know, with a guy I had a crush on, and I was nowhere near finding what I was looking for. Goddamn.
I was forced to look up as the noise got louder. The voice was screaming obscenities and was definitely female. And sure enough not fifteen seconds later (I counted), two girls came into view. The blonde policeman, Constable De Chateaupers (Just to make it clear, this is Phoebus from Hunchback of Notre Dame. The one with the glasses is Milo Thatch from Atlantis and the Asian one is obviously Shang from Mulan) was leading the two girl to the cell on our right with a bored face. One of them had a mass of curly dark brown hair and was dressed in colorful clothes. She was very obviously drunk. The other girl had long red hair. I was suddenly reminded of Merida. I felt so homesick at that moment. The red head dragged the other, loud girl, into the cell with her. She gave the policeman an apologetic look,
"I'm sorry, bro," she said sheepishly. The policeman glared at her,
"You're ridiculous, Ariel. Seriously you could've got hurt. You're not old enough to drink," the policeman pointed an accusing finger at the other girl, who was puking her guts up, "and neither is Esmeralda. Seriously, what were you thinking!?"
"I'm sorry. Please, just let us out!" The redhead, Ariel, whined. The constable looked down on her. I could see some resemblance between the two - the same sea colored eyes, high cheekbones, full lips. They were definitely siblings.
"Uh uh, no way sis, not today. You're going to stay here until my shift is over and then, maybe, I'll take you home," the constable turned around to walk away.
"PHOEBUS!" Ariel yelled after him angrily. He ignored her and she groaned, mimicking my position on the opposite bench. She leaned back against the cold stone wall and watched as her friend finished puking. There was a puddle of vomit on the floor.
"Was that your brother?" Jack asked. The girls only just realized that we were here. Ariel blinked at us,
"Um yeah, he's a prick," she waved her hand in the air, "He's taking a police apprenticeship and suddenly he thinks he's all that. We're seventeen, we're old enough to drive."
"Not really," I stated. Ariel sighed,
"Yeah, I know. I just let this one talk me into anything. My name's Ariel and this is Esmeralda" she pointed at the other girl who smiled sheepishly, "Anyway why are you guys here?"
"I'm Elsa, and that's Jack. It's a long story," I said. Ariel shrugged,
"We've got time," she said. Jack looked at me and then at our neighbors,
"Basically we have this friend..." he started,
"...actually she's his ex - girlfriend," I pointed out, Jack glared as the two girl giggled,
"Anyway. So she was sleeping about with this guy called Flynn..."
"...in my apartment," I added. The two made horrified expressions,
"...and it turned out she was pregnant,"
"but Flynn ran off..."
"...so we went to his apartment..."
"...and this lady was flirting with him and gave him her number, and there was a hot shirtless guy that was his neighbor..."
"...and he told us that Flynn went to London..."
"...so we came here and we saw this guy..."
"...and he looked like Flynn!"
"...just like him!"
"...and I might have punched him..."
"...lightly!"
"...and yeah, so now we're here," Jack finished lamely, shrugging. Esmeralda and Ariel burst out laughing and I couldn't help but join in, letting the tension leave my body.
"Oi, you!" Constable Li knocked on our bars, making them rattle, "Come with me, any of you!" he pointed at me and Jack. I stepped forward before Jack could - I didn't want him getting into anymore trouble. He gave me a puzzled look and I just shrugged, following the policeman down the hallway. We stopped in front of a red phone,
"One phone call," the policeman hissed, walking away but not taking his eyes off me. I stared at the phone numbly. Who could I call? Anna was in a coma, our parents were dead, I had no family and I didn't want to worry Punzie...sighing I dialed a number I knew of by heart. He picked up on the third ring,
"Hello?" Aladdin yawned, sounding super tired, "Who is this?"
"It's me," I breathed, biting my lip.
"Elsa!," Aladdin immediately sounded alert, "Where the hell are you?! I've been trying to call you and Jack for hours!"
"What's going on?" another tired voice I recognized as Jasmine sounded. A bed rustled,
"Look Al, we had to leave quickly, it's a long story - call Punzie she'll explain," I said quickly - I didn't know how long I had, "...anyway, me and Jack are in London..."
"WHAT?!" Aladdin yelled. I ignored him,
"And now we're kind of in jail and I need you to call someone to get us out!" I finished. I could hear bickering on the other end. Finally Jasmine's voice sounded in the phone,
"Hello?" she didn't wait for me to reply, "You two are crazy, but don't worry! We'll send someone!"
"Thank you," I breathed a sigh of relief. Constable Li tapped his wrist,
"Call over." He said disconnecting.
