AN: Hello, my lovely readers! Finally, a new update! I'm sorry for the lack of updates! I'm going to be (trying to) focusing on this story and on my other story (Irresistible Accident) because I feel like these two stories need to come to some sort of end before I can move on with other stories. I don't like to leave my lovely readers hanging with an unfinished story! So updates won't be regular but I'll do my best to write satisfying endings and tie up the stories nicely. Happy reading!

It had been two weeks since Castiel had spoken to Reina. She was beginning to grow annoyed at Castiel for giving her the silent treatment and whenever she saw him at school, she resisted the urge to punch him in the face. Their behavior didn't go unnoticed by their fellow classmates.

"Are you and that guy alright?"

Reina pursed her lips when Nathaniel approached her at her locker. The last thing she wanted to do was get involved with the guy who started the whole thing.

"We're fine, Nathaniel. Castiel just needs a little space."

Nathaniel sighed and followed Reina to class,

"He's awfully uncaring for a boyfriend. You know, winter formal is coming up. Maybe we could go as friends."

Reina stopped in the middle of the doorway and stared at Nathaniel in shock. Did he really just say that?

"You do realize that it's the girl's choice?"

"Which is why I'm putting it out there as a friendly suggestion."

Nathaniel was suddenly shoved aside and Reina froze when she saw Castiel. It had been a while since she'd seen him up close. He took her hand and led her to her seat before he went to his, giving her a glance before he sat down and turned his attention to the window.

A part of Reina was happy that Castiel had initiated something but the rest of her was still frustrated with him for keeping such a distance. She stared at her hand; the warmth of Castiel's hand still lingered and she looked at him. She had to figure out a way to win his trust again.
