"Hopefully the girls will be back soon." Natsu groans as Gajeel paces with Lily trying to calm him down and Grey leaning against a wall with one eye open.
"I'm sure they'll be back soon so you two just need to stop." Grey says in an annoyed voice causing Gajeel to stop and glare at the ice make wizard.
"Why the hell aren't you worried ice freak?" Gajeel asks in a similarly annoyed voice.
"Because I have faith that my girlfriend is OK and so should both of you." Grey states as the train comes to the station.
"Finally." Gajeel says in a growl as Natsu and Grey wait for the girls to emerge from the train with their girlfriends coming out last.
In seeing their boyfriends the girls run to them hugging their respective boyfriend. "I missed you so much Natsu." Lucy says happily as Natsu holds onto her tight as the rest wait for the couples to stop hugging.
"So you ready for your surprise?" Natsu asks the blonde looking up at him before nodding. After the nod Mira walks over to the blonde putting a blindfold over the girls eyes.
"What's the blindfold for?" Lucy asks as she feels herself getting pulled onto Natsu's back.
"So you don't see the surprise too soon." Mira giggles as everyone starts walking.
"Can I at least drop my clothes off at my apartment?" Lucy asks confused at her current predicament.
"Nope." Natsu says as he squeezes her ass earning a squeak from Lucy.
"Natsu knock it off. Why can't I drop my stuff off at my apartment?" Lucy asks before sighing knowing that she wouldn't get the answer she wanted. "And who has my stuff anyway?" she asks annoyed.
"You'll see why. As for who is carrying your stuff Mira is." Natsu says as he continues walking as everyone follows behind.
"Natsu we aren't walking through the streets anymore are we?" Lucy asks getting more confused by the second as she feels that Natsu was now walking at a slight angle.
"Nope we aren't." Natsu says bluntly as everyone starts quietly laughing. "Stop asking questions we're almost there to where your surprise is." Natsu says making Lucy more confused.
As they get closer Lucy starts hearing whispers that by what she could tell were from her guild mates. "Natsu where are we?" Lucy whines as Natsu comes to a stop before setting her on the ground.
"We're here Luce." Natsu says as Mira takes off her blindfold revealing their new house with all her guild mates looking at her with bright smile. "Welcome home babe." Natsu says kissing her forehead as Lucy kneels down on the ground starting to cry.
"You guys. Why did you guys do this." She asks trying to stop the tears.
"It's because you're one of us my dear. None of us could imagine the guild without you now." Makarov states as he walks toward the girl and putting a hand on her shoulder.
"Hey Blondie what are you doing crying? Do you really think that this guild, your family wouldn't do something like this for you two?" Laxus asks with a smile causing the girl to look up to see Laxas and the thunder legion in front of the house with warm smiles.
"I know I should of expected this. I'm just so happy that words can't describe." Lucy says as she gets up and wipes away the tears. "Natsu I thought you said that the money was missing once we got back." Lucy asks her boyfriend who was now smiling.
"Sorry I kinda lied about that." Natsu says as he scratches the back of his head.
"My dear you couldn't of found a better man to be with." The master says looking at the couple.
"Hey Lucy I have something to give you." Guildarts says walking towards the couple as Natsu gives him a confused look.
"What is it?" Lucy asks looking at the strongest wizard she knows walking towards her.
"It's something that's from the entire guild." Guildarts states as he hands her a book causing her to have a confused look. "It's a magic book for you to have." guild arts smiles before continuing as he puts his hand on her shoulder. "I know all the crap that you've gone through Lucy your father was not good to you. This book will create pictures off all the great memories you've had from all the guild members and you mother and father." Guildarts stops seeing the warm smile forming on the girls face.
"Thank you Guildarts. But how does it work?" Lucy asks as the other two couples walk to either side of the dirt path.
"All you have to do is place your palm on the cover and it will magically create the pictures of you best memories with the guild members and your parents. It will never run out of pages it will create more once you run out. Why don't you try it now?" The man asks with a warm smile on his face.
"I will." Lucy says as Natsu places the book on his hands as she places her hands on it causing the book to emanate a bright light. "Oh wow it worked." Lucy says smiling down at the booked filled with her memories as Natsu wipes away a tear from her face. "Thank you Guildarts" Lucy says as Guildarts smiles at the couple.
"Natsu I have something to tell you now." Guildarts says causing everyone to look confused. "I originally thought that you couldn't of found a someone to love but I was wrong, even though you can be thick headed a lot of the time. I know that you don't believe in destiny or fate but one thing is true is that where ever Igneel is I know he is happy for you. Same goes for you Gajeel and Wendy." Guildarts finishes as he turns around and walks over to Cana.
"That's something you don't have to tell me Guildarts. Even if I could go and see him right now I know I wouldn't want to I now have something more important that finding him. I have someone I love and want to have a future with." Natsu says as he kisses Lucy's forehead.
"Hey brats why don't we leave and let the two get antiquated with their new home we'll see them tomorrow." Makarov says as he starts walking back to the guild with everyone following behind.
"Thank you everyone I couldn't of done this without all of you." Natsu says as they all walk by him. "Why don't you go inside and look around Luce I'm going to go get Happy OK?" Natsu asks as he lightly kisses her lips.
"OK I will." Lucy smiles as she grabs her suitcase bringing it into the house with her. As she goes inside she drops the suitcase at what she sees. She notices that what used to be the only room was now a bigger room which was turned into a Kitchen and dining room with a small table and brand new kitchen appliances with many cupboards and a big sink and a lot of counter space. The floor was clean and was tiled with normal white tiles. To the left was the Living room which was quite big had a green carpet and had a couch with three other chairs in the room. The room also had a TV Lacrima across form the chairs.
As Lucy walked through the room she set her suitcase on the pink couch she had noticed that a lot of the furniture had come from her apartment in which she smiled at before noticing that a lot of stuff had come from there as she noticed 2 doors connected to the room one which was locked and one next to it which was a full bathroom with a bath and a shower. As she goes back into the living room she notices a small coffee table with a small rectangular box on it. "Hm I should probably check that hallway." Lucy says to herself waving off the small box for later.
She grabs her suitcase as she walks out and into the hallway hitting a light switch noticing a door at the end of the hall which she presumed to be her and Natsu's room with seven doors running down the hall way four on the left and three on the right as she opened the right doors she noticed they were empty. "These rooms we're probably Mira's idea." Lucy sighs knowing how the white haired woman's imagination was regarding her and Natsu having kids.
As she opened the four doors on the left she noticed that the first and last doors we're for a bedrooms while the second room going from the kitchen was another full bathroom and next to it was what looked like a storage room where Natsu was now keeping all of his memoirs from missions. As she closes the door she goes to the door at the end of the hall before opening it she feels a big smile forming on her face.
As she enters the room she notices a queen sized bed that was the same style as her old bed with her pink comforter and sheets as she put her suitcase on the bed she noticed that the room had two dressers one for her and one for Natsu she reasoned as she sat down looking around the room. As she looked around she noticed a small black couch on the wall opposite the bed and a bedside table next to the bed and a two doors connecting the room one was to the bathroom which was a very big bathroom with a big tub and shower. The other was a big closet which some of her stuff was already in. Smiling she puts her clothing in her dresser before leaving the room to go into the kitchen.
"What do you think Luce?" Natsu asks as his girlfriend comes into the kitchen with a bright smile on her face.
"I love it. But you didn't need to make it so extravagant." Lucy says hugging her boyfriend and nuzzling her head into his chest.
"Yeah I did. Wait don't tell me you forgot what today is did you?" Natsu asks with a sly smile as happy sits on the table eating a fish.
"What's today? I guess I forgot. Could you tell me?" Lucy asks curious at the smile on Natsu's face.
"Come here and I'll tell you." Natsu says grabbing her arm and bringing her to the living room and sitting on the couch.
"OK so what is it?" Lucy asks as she notices Natsu handing her the small rectangular box.
"Open it." Natsu says smiling with a slight blush on his face..
"OK." Lucy says in a curious tone before opening the small box to reveal a necklace with a key shaped charm on it. But it looked odd to her because the handle of the key was slightly big.
As Lucy looks at the necklace in awe Natsu places a hand on her shoulder pulling her from her thoughts. "Happy anniversary babe." Natsu says with a soft smile as Lucy processes what she had just heard.
"Oh my god how the hell could I have forgotten. I'm so sorry I forgot." Lucy says with a frown angry at herself for forgetting the date that they first started dating. "I didn't even get you anything." Lucy says upset now evident in her voice.
"Hey don't worry about I already have the best gift I could have. Want me to help you with the necklace?" Natsu asks as Lucy hands him the necklace.
"Sure but what do you mean I haven't given you anything." Lucy asks as she feels Natsu's hands around the back of her neck locking the clip on her necklace.
"I have you that's all I ever want from you. By the way that key serves two things Luce. It's the key to that locked room and the handle can be opened and put pictures in it." Natsu says as the key drops on her chest.
"I really couldn't have chosen anyone better could I?" Lucy asks as she opens the handle showing three frames one on each side of the key and one on thebottom. "What's in the locked room?" Lucy asks smiling up at her boyfriend before standing up.
"Why don't you check it out yourself?" Natsu asks getting up and walking behind her.
As she unlocks and opens the door she can feel tears welling up in her eyes as she sees a big room full of shelves with all her books on them and her desk with her chair. "Natsu why did you do all this for me?" Lucy asks as she stands there shocked at the big room.
"Because I love you. This is your room for your work." Natsu says as Lucy walks into the room noticing the small pink couch in one of the corners with a couple other chairs near the desk.
"Thank you Natsu but why did you make a key for this room?" Lucy asks turning around hugging him in the room.
"Because It's your work room no one can be here when you ain't in here.." Natsu explains hugging her back before the two walk out of the room as Lucy locks it.
"Thank you Natsu. Happy anniversary. I love you more than words can describe." Lucy says kissing him lightly on the lips as they sit on the couch.
"I know Luce what do you want to do now its only three but I kinda don't want to go to the guild on our anniversary." Natsu says wrapping his arms around her stomach and nuzzle his head in her neck as she rest her back against his body.
"Hmm staying her actually sounds nice right now. I'm really happy that you did all this plus now I won't have to worry about rent anymore." Lucy states as she hears a knock at the door. "Hey Happy can you get that?" Lucy asks before Happy floats to the door opening it.
"Hey happy are Natsu and Lucy here?" A feminine but slightly southern voice asks as happy floats back down to the table to finish his fish.
"We're in here." Lucy says as she hears the door close and and hear three signature footstep.
"There y'all are." The green haired mother says looking at the couple on the couch cuddling. "Hey Natsu we're sorry we weren't here earlier Asuka had a doctors appointment." Bisca says as Alzack and Asuka stand next to the woman.
"It's fine you guys I'm just happy everything got done." Natsu says beaming with happiness. "But there's got to be another reason why you guys are here right?" Natsu asks the family who was now standing in the doorway. "Why don't you guys take a seat OK?" Natsu asks as Lucy sits op on the couch.
"Wow Natsu I didn't think you'd be one for hospitality considering what Grey says." Alzack says smirking as the three take their seats with Asuka sitting on her fathers lap.
"That's just because it's Grey and he annoys me." Natsu states in child friendly words because of Asuka.
"That's true but the main reason we're here is because we wanted to ask you guys something." Bisca says looking at the couple who were raising an eyebrow. "We were wondering if you could watch Asuka for us tomorrow while we go on a mission. We were going to ask Mira to but Asuka asked if you two could." Bisca explains as the two look to the little girl who was smiling at the couple.
"Yeah we can do that if you want we don't mind." Lucy says looking at the three.
"Are you sure? You don't have to if you don't want to." Alzack says as he looks at the two.
"Al if they say they will they can. Plus it will give them experience for when they have kids right?" Bisca asks her husband who was currently looking at the couple.
"I guess that's true. We should probably head to the guild. We'll come drop off Asuka at around 8 tomorrow morning OK?" Alzack asks as he gets up carrying the now sleeping girl.
"OK I'll probably be up by then." Natsu says as the three leave the house. "Hey Luce what are you thinking?" Natsu asks the blonde who was now back in her old position causing Natsu to wrap his arms around her stomach.
"Oh Just thinking why so many people are talking about us having kids when we aren't even married yet." Lucy says with a sigh as she snuggles into his body.
"That's true I guess. Hey How was your trip by the way?" Natsu asks trying to change the topic.
"It was actually super fun but we all had guys trying to flirt with us. Even Levy which Mira found amusing." Lucy giggles before hearing her boyfriend growl. "Hey don't worry I didn't pay them no mind plus Erza beat up most of the guys who were checking me and her out." Lucy says trying to make Natsu not mad.
"OK I guess that's fine. I'm sorry we had Mira lie to you about having to stay there for two extra days." Natsu says as Lucy puts her hands on his.
"It's fine this house was worth it. After a few days the guys there stopped flirting with me though. I guess they don't want to get pummeled by the mighty Salamander." Lucy giggles at calling her boyfriend that as she pumps her hand in the air like him.
"Well of course you are mine after all." Natsu says sleepily as he nods off the sleep.
"I guess you are tired working on this for over a week. Hey happy come her for a second OK?" Lucy asks with happy hopping off the table walking over to her. "Hey Happy I'm going to take a nap can you wake me up at 5?" Lucy asks slowly closing her eyes.
"Aye sir!" Happy exclaims as he walks around the house as Lucy falls asleep.
