The rescue
Jason had gotten close to approaching the base. He had snuck out in the middle of the night so that James and Matt, along with his sister Akhita, would not be harmed. He had to do this alone.
It figures Doc Oc would be near water, Jason thought to himself. As he got close, he parked the bike at the end of the pier and put on his gear. The outfit consisted of a jacket, that which was worn over some spare armor he had found in stark labs (Tony wasn't using it anyways). on the chest plate he spraypainted a crude version of a shield, his father's symbol. he put on a spare blank helmet, which had no facial decorations, it was blank. that along with his usual shield. he pulls up the hood , and stalks inside.
once there, he looked around. there were blueprints for various robots and schematics all over the wall and floor. he strapped his shield to his back and took a deep breath. focus . thats what he needed right now. he crouched down into an opening, an old air vent. there, once on the other side, he could see he was on a crosswalk, overlooking a large lab down below. down there, Alex and Hollie were visible, slightly bruised and being guarded by oc bots. the doctor was nowhere to be seen. Time to make a move
Alex sat in the corner , not able to go anywhere else . the bots had cuffed him with a metal he was not strong enough to break, and he didn't want to risk hurting Hollie in the process if he transformed. "How're you holding up Hollie?", Alex said as he looked to the adjacent corner. Hollie shook her head and sighed, "I'm perfectly fine Alex because this is exactly how i want to spend my Friday night." Hollie replied sarcastically. Alex growled and looked back at the bots. "They're coming for us, and you'll pay. because you just pissed of the next age of superheroes." Alex said with a determined expression.
Jason jumped down and looked at the bots. Time to make an entrance. "Well well, it's too bad i forgot my spicy rolls, because I'm having Octopus tonight!" Jason yelled to get their attention. He ran at the bots, jumping over the first. While in mid air, Jason pulled out his shield and sent it crashing into the cranium of the bot in front of him. Jason then dug it out, threw it , making it bounce off of a couple walls and hit two of the three remaining ones. the last one , as it turned out, was actually the doctor himself in an exo suit.
"Who ?! Who are you and what do you want?", exclaimed Octavious. Jason got in a fighting stance and replied, " oh just your friendly neighborhood guy-who's-about-to-kick-your-teeth-in." This enraged Octavius, who charged at Jason. but Jason already saw that coming. To Hollie and Alex's disbelief (because they don't know he's Jason) Jason made a fist, and it became engulfed in flames. He yelled in response, his fiery fist going through the belly of the suit, which causes the bot, along with doc oc, to fall to the ground motionless.
Hollie scowled at the unknown man and said, "Woah! Did you just-" The man cut him off with a raise of his hand and replied , "No calm down, i just disabled his motors. He won't be moving for a while.". The man cut their chains, first Hollie then Alex. He looked to the two of them and said , "Stay safe, and get home, I'm sure there's someone there waiting for you." is all he said before jumping through an open window, and riding away.
Alex and Hollie never got a name. When they got home there was a huge commotion of story telling and swapping I miss you's . by the time it was over , and they were all in bed, the mask and the armor safely tucked away in a dufflebag in the top of Jason's closet.
